Abstract

The formation of early childhood character is an important effort that must be carried out by Kindergarten level teachers. Character building from an early age is expected to be an important provision for children to grow according to the child's emotional development. Education is not only aimed at producing students who are cognitively intelligent but also to shape children's emotional intelligence so that they become students with good character. This research is a solution to the formation of early childhood character through stimulating children's songs that contain character values ​​in them. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach to achieve the research focus. A collection of children's songs is the object of this research with the titles: four magic words, before we eat, and oh mom and dad. Children's songs which are the object of research are analyzed to classify the character values ​​contained in the songs implicitly. The results of the study show that the character values ​​obtained include: noble character, hard work, responsibility, independence, cooperation, caring, and cooperation.

Abstract

Language skills in early childhood are a basic need for children to communicate with teachers and friends. By being able to speak spoken and written language, students can follow learning at school. Of course, with fun learning designed by the teacher, it can optimally encourage children's language skills. The focus of this study was to analyze the language skills of children aged 5-6 years at Pembina Pancur Batu State Kindergarten T.A 2022/2023. With the results of this analysis, teachers can design learning that supports improving children's language skills. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with a case study approach to collect information related to children's language skills. The results showed that the category of children's language skills was quite good with a percentage of 69.79%. This means that teacher learning strategies are still needed to improve the quality of learning that supports the improvement of children's language skills in the school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus untuk menganalisis terkait perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) anak usia dini di TK Negeri Pembina Pancur Batu T.A 2022/2023. PHBS adalah upaya yang dapat dilakukan oleh setiap individu menjaga kesehatan tubuh sehingga terhindar dari penyakit. Tubuh yang sehat sangat membantu setiap anak didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Dengan tubuh yang sehat anak didik dapat bermain, bernyanyi dan belajar di sekolah. Sehingga anak didik dapat mengikuti proses pmebelajaran dengan baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan menerapkan studi kasus dalam mengumpulkan informasi terkait PHBS yang ditunjukkan oleh subjek penelitian. Adapun subjek penelitian adalah 45 anak didik di TK Negeri Pembina Pancur batu. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunkan angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dari hasi analisis data diperoleh rata-rata PHBS anak usia dini mencapai 77,19 % dengan kategori baik. Hasil analisia tersebut menunjukkan bahwa PHBS para anak didik harus terus diberdayakan. Misalnya dengan membiasakan anak untuk mencuci tangan, menggunakan masker, makan makanan yang bergizi, dan kegiatan olah raga yang dibimbing oleh guru serta diperlukan sosialisasi budaya hidup sehat dari pihak dinas kesehatan setempat.

M-Learning is one of the learning media easy remote and often used for. This study aims to see the effectiveness of Derivative learning with use media M-Learning reviewed from results Study student. Model study Which used on study This is quasi experiment with use one group pretest postest design . Sample study that is student semester 2 Which take subject calculus. Data sample processed with analysis descriptive And test the average difference in learning outcomes. The results of the study show the course lectures calculus derived material using M-Learning media is quite effective if you look at it from results Study student. Results Study student after lectures with use M-Learning more tall compared to with results Study student before lectures with use M-Learning .

Abstract

Communication skills are very important to be mastered by each student so that they can express opinions, ask teachers and friends and can exchange information with teachers and friends in the learning process. Communication skills can be trained to make children brave in speaking to anyone in the learning process. So that students can use communication as a source of information for them in mastering learning material. This study focuses on analyzing the communication skills of fifth grade students at SDN 101835 Sibolangit in the learning process. The results of this analysis become a preliminary study for teachers to see the learning needs of students. This study shows that students' communication skills are still categorized as unskilled with a percentage of 41.20%. Thus it still takes strong efforts from teachers to improve students' communication skills in learning. Efforts that can be made such as applying the debate learning model, applying the role playing model in learning and using simulation methods in learning. The results of this study became the initial strength in the research process to determine the right strategy to improve the quality of learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe what materials are difficult in calculus courses and also materials that are misconceptions. This research was conducted to improve the competence of students in the future. The formulation of the problem in this study is "How to improve student competence in integral calculus courses?" The sub-problems are: 1) What materials do students have misconceptions in integral calculus courses? 2) What materials are difficult for students to understand in integral calculus courses? The research method used is descriptive qualitative by surveying students of Mathematics Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tanjungpura University. From the overall results, there were 22 students (60%) did not experience misconceptions and 14 students (40%) experienced misconceptions in the first concept. In the second concept, 40% did not experience misconceptions and 60% of students experienced misconceptions. For the third concept, 70% of students experienced misconceptions and 30% of students did not experience misconceptions. In the fourth concept, 28% of students experienced misconceptions and 72% of students did not experience misconceptions. For the fifth concept, 6% of students experienced misconceptions and 94% of students did not experience misconceptions. And for the sixth concept there are 28% of students experiencing misconceptions and 72% of students not experiencing misconceptions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine students' difficulties in solving mathematical problems in Basic Statistics courses. The research method used to achieve the objectives of this research is qualitative research, with a research focus on identifying students' difficulties in solving mathematical problems. This research involved 6 3rd semester students who contracted the Basic Statistics course in the Mathematics Tadris Study Program at the Muhammadiyah Islamic Institute of Religion (IAIM) Sinjai Academic Year 2022/2023. The ability to solve problems in this study uses the indicators proposed by Polya, namely (1) understanding the problem (2) planning a solving strategy, (3) solving problems and (4) re-examining the results of the solution. The results of the investigation show that: (1) students have difficulty understanding problems such as students cannot understand what is known and asked in problems, students have difficulty understanding information presented in the form of diagrams, (2) students have difficulty choosing problem-solving strategies. Student difficulties at this problem-solving stage result in students not being able to proceed to a higher problem-solving stage.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan supervisi akademik di SMK N 1 Abung Selatan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru SMK N 1 Abung Selatan sebanyak 40 guru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Tindakan sekolah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kinerja guru dalam merencanakan pembelajaran meningkat secara signifikan melalui optimalisasi supervisi akademik dengan teknik kelompok dan individual.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to increase students' mathematics learning activeness in online learning by applying quizizz educational game media. The sample of this study were all VSD Negeri 1 Bajera class students in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year, with a total of 26 people. This research was conducted in two cycles, where each cycle consisted of 4 stages, namely the planning stage, action implementation, observation / evaluation, and reflection. Students' Mathematics learning activities were obtained from student activity observation sheets filled out at the end of each cycle. At the beginning of the cycle, the average student learning activity was 68.27 with a less active category. After taking action with the quiizz educational game media, in cycle I, the average score of student learning activeness was 69.92, still in the less active category. While in cycle II it increased to 85.55 very active categories. With an increase in student activeness from the beginning of the cycle to cycle I by 10.50 or 14%, and increased again from cycle I to cycle II, namely, by 12.50 or 16%. Based on these data, there is an increase in the activeness of students learning mathematics in online learning by using quizizz educational game media.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the quality of teachers in developing lesson plans through coaching by supervisors using the CLCK method. To achieve this goal, action research was conducted on teachers at SD Negeri 3 Pandak Gede in the 2022/2023 even semester, totaling 8 teachers. This research was conducted in two learning cycles. The method used was the CLCK method which consists of four main steps, namely: 1) Example, the researcher provides an example of the correct lesson plan to the teacher; 2) Train, the researcher provides practice in preparing the correct lesson plan to the teacher; 3) Try, the researcher provides an opportunity for teachers to try to develop lesson plans independently; and 4) Develop, the teacher develops the lesson plans that have been made in accordance with the assessment system carried out. The object of research is the quality of teachers in developing lesson plans. To measure the quality of teachers in developing lesson plans, lesson plan product observation guidelines were used. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis using the success criteria of action if the quality of teachers in preparing lesson plans. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that coaching by supervisors through the CLCK program can improve the quality of teachers in preparing lesson plans at SD Negeri 3 Pandak Gede. The results of the data analysis of the second cycle of action showed that the quality of teachers in preparing lesson plans had an average of 88 with a very good category. It appears that 50% of teachers (4 teachers) have the ability to develop very good lesson plans; and 50% (4 teachers) have the ability to develop good lesson plans. To achieve optimal results in supervision activities, supervisors in carrying out coaching for mentored teachers should apply the principle of friendship so that there is no impression of being supervised and supervising. This will provide openness for teachers in conveying the obstacles faced in carrying out the learning process.
