Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa, serta mempelajari peningkatan keduanya pada kelas VII-8 MTs Negeri Kota Ternate  melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe (STAD) pada konsep pencemaran lingkungan. Penelitian ini termasuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Langkah-langkah yang terdapat dalam Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams-Achievement Devisions (STAD) dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa antara siklus I dan siklus II. Ketuntasan belajar siswa pada tes akhir siklus I diperoleh presentase 24% sedangkan ketuntasan belajar siswa pada tes akhir siklus II diperoleh presentase 84%.  Sementara itu, untuk aktivitas belajar siswa juga terjadi peningkatan yang cukup besar, yakni 52,2% di siklus I dan 80,9% di siklus II. Peningkatan yang terjadi memiliki selisih 28,7%.

Abstract

Kultur embrio anggrek secara in vitro pada media tumbuh yang sesuai akan menghasilkan tanaman anggrek dalam jumlah besar namun dalam waktu yang singkat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis dan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair (POC) yang efektif terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan embrio anggrek Vanda limbata  Blume x Vanda tricolor Lindl. Percobaan dilakukan dengan menggunakan protokorm anggrek Vanda limbata  Blume x Vanda tricolor Lindl. yang berumur 4 minggu (fase 2) yang ditanam pada medium perlakuan. Medium perlakuan yang digunakan adalah medium POC yakni Fertile, Fish Emultion dan Nasa dengan beragam konsentrasi (1; 1; 2; 2,5; 3; 3,5 ml/L) yang ditambahkan air kelapa 150 ml/L, sedangkan medium VW sebagai kontrol positif dan medium agar sebagai kontrol negatif. Pengamatan pada medium perlakuan dilakukan selama 2 bulan. Pengamatan dilakukan untuk mengukur parameter morfologis (panjang daun, jumlah daun, panjang akar, dan jumlah akar) serta jumlah tunas yang dihasilkan hingga pengamatan minggu ke-8. Setelah 2 bulan, tanaman kemudian disubkultur ke medium VW yang ditambahkan air kelapa dan ekstrak pisang. Data kuantitatif yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk organik cair terhadap parameter yang diukur kemudian jika terdapat perbedaan nyata dilanjutkan dengan Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf uji 5 %. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh medium POC terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan embrio anggrek menunjukkan respon yang berbeda-beda pada setiap fase pertumbuhan. Pada protokorm anggrek Vanda limbata  Blume x Vanda tricolor Lindl. berumur 4 MSP, POC Fertile 1,5 memberikan hasil yang berbeda nyata dibandingkan dengan medium VW pada parameter jumlah daun dan jumlah tunas dengan nilai 4,67 dan 6,00.Kata kunci: Pupuk Organik Cair, Perkecambahan In Vitro, Embrio, dan Anggrek

Abstract

This was pre experimental design research with the aim to know student learning activity and study result at the implementation of the learned of learning cycle model. The research was done at state of  Junior High School 24, class VIII4 at odd semester academic year 2009/2010. Research design was pretest and posttest group design. Data's on students learning activity during they study were collected using observation sheet, and study results were acquired by using study's result test. Data's of student activity and study result were analyzed qualitative descriptive and inferential. T test was used to analyzed the difference  between before and after the learned of learning cycle model. The mean of result study's before and after application of learned of the learning cycle model was 48.00 for the pretest and 65.69 for the posttest, and t student value was 11,11 with P=0.000 at α = 0.01. The research's result showed that learning activities during the application of learned of learning cycle model generally increase, and the difference was very significance between student learning result before and after the learned of learning cycle model being applied .

Abstract

Abstract. Wadi is a sort of fermented fish product from Dayak tribe in Central Kalimantan. Wadi is made with the addition of lumu, sugar, and salt, and fermented for 7-10 x 24 hours. During the fermentation process, there are microflora from fish, and microflora from lumu that play a role in fermentation process. Some species of bacteria that play a role in the wadi fermentation process are lipolytic bacteria and Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB). This research aims to: (1) identify the species of lipolytic bacteria and LAB that present in the wadi, (2) determine the lipid hydrolysis index and lactic acid clearance zone index of lipolytic bacteria and LAB that present in the wadi, and (3) determine the species of lipolytic bacteria and LAB which have highest ability to hydrolyze lipid and have the highest ability to produce lactic acid based on lipid hydrolysis index and lactic acid clearance zone index. The results showed that, (1) there are four species of lipolytic bacteria and LAB present in wadi: Lactobacillus coryniformis, Lactobacillus casei, Nitrococcus mobilis and Streptococcus lactis; (2) the four species of bacteria have  different lipid hydrolysis index and lactic acid clearance zone index which are Lactobacillus coryniformis has a lipid hydrolysis index of 1.63 and lactic acid clearance zone index of 3.31; Lactobacillus casei has index of 1.94 and 3.96; Streptococcus lactis has index of 1.51 and 1.54 and Nitrococcus mobilis has index of 0.98 and 1.52; (3) Lactobacillus casei is a species of lipolytic bacteria and LAB which has the highest ability to hydrolyze lipid and to produce the highest lactic acid based on the lipid hydrolysis index and lactic acid clearance zone index, which are 1.94 and 3.96. Abstract

Aren (Arenga pinnata, Merr) was one type of palm tree of the family was well known area of the tropics because of various benefits. Starting from the root, stem, bark, leaves, fruits, fibers up to the treetops. The variables in this study were age starter as the independent variable and the yield of sugar as a variable independent. Design used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of three treatments with three replications. Each repeat unit there were 3 observations. So that the overall number of observation units 3 x 3 x 3 = 27. The treatment used in this study, namely: A1 = Age starter 4 days, A2 = Age 6 day starter, starter A3 = Age 8 days. The parameters measured in this study is the yield produced nata, nata yield measured by weighing the first nata formed have drained for 1 hour and then divided by the volume of juice used. Data obtained with the variation (F test) to see the effect on the level sig α = 0.01. When the results showed a treatment effect of the test followed by LSD α = 0.01. The results showed that age affects the formation of nata starter.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the crude fat content and BETN silage combination of rice straw and lamtoro leaves at different levels as the main feed ingredients for complete feed. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatment levels and 3 replications namely contro = 100% rice straw (control), 40% = 60% rice straw + 40% lamtoro leaf, 30% = 70% rice straw + 30% lamtoro leaves, 20% = 80% rice straw + 20% lamtoro leaves. The results showed that the mixing of rice straw and lamtoro leaves as a complete feed had a very significant effect on crude fat content and had a significant effect on BETN content. Based on the results and discussion of the study, it can be concluded that feed with a combination of rice straw and lamtoro leaves affects the crude fat content and BETN. Where the treatment of 40% with a combination of 60% rice straw material and 40% leucaena leaves showed the best results for fat content and BETN.Keywords: fat, BETN, rice straw, lamtoro leaf, and silage

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh penerapan peta konsep berbasis IT terhadap hasil belajar kognitif biologi siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Pamboang pada materi sel. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Pamboang yang aktif selama tahun ajaran 2013/2014 yang terdiri dari 3 kelas dengan jumlah siswa 76 orang, sedangkan sampelnya adalah kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah siswa 25 orang dan kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah siswa 25 orang. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan memberikan  tes hasil belajar pada ranah kognitif materi pokok sel berupa pretest dan posttest. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif biologi untuk siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 77,68 dan kelas kontrol adalah 66,80. Hasil uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji Anakova diperoleh nilai sig. 2-tailed 0,008 < α (0,05) maka Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh penerapan peta konsep berbasis IT terhadap hasil belajar kognitif biologi siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Pamboang.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the consumption and digestibility of crude protein fruit skin and rambutan seeds an animals feed suplements in goat rations fed forage. The study was conducted in Sidrap Regency and the Laboratory of Animal Feed chemistery, Fakulty of animal husbandry, Hasanuddin University in Makassar, using a Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with a 4 x 4 pattern (P0: 100 % forage (control), P1: 15 % fruit skin and 5 % seeds rambutan + 80 % forage, P2: 10 % fruit skin and 10 % seeds rambutan + 80 % forage and P3: 5 % fruit skin and 15 % rambutan seeds + 80 % forage), 4 adult goat. The data obtained were statistically analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Duncan test, showing forage feeding with rambutan by-product supplements in the form of fruit skin and rambutan seeds as much as 20 % goat fodder had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the consumption of crude protein, and significant effect (P<0.05) on crude protein digestibility, Duncan’ test showed that there were significant differences (P<0.05) between each treatment. The study concluded that a good digestibility rate was obtained in P3 treatment, namely 5 % fruit skin and 15 % rambutan seeds + 80 % forage. It is recommended that further research be carried out to determine the level of feeding and changes in goat animal body weight. Keywords: rambutan skin and seeds, consumption, digestibility, goat.

Abstract

These research aims to isolate and identify alkaloid compound in acetone extracts from sambung nyawa leafs Gynura procumbens L. This compound obtained trough keeping the plant and isolation. The isolation consists of extraction, fractionation, purification, and identification. The identification consists of melting point test, three phase system test, and Dragendorf test. The results of the research are: 90 mg of white crystal with the range of its melting point is 134-1360 C. The crystals indicate positively with Dragendorf test. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan amonium dan nitrat tanah pada budidaya tanaman bayam yang diperlakukan dengan pupuk urin manusia. Bayam ditanam dalam polybag dengan perlakuan pupuk urin manusia  yang diplikasikan mulai 22 hari setelah tanam (hst). Adapun konsentrasi pupuknya adalah 0%, 10%, 25% dan 50% dan NPK yang masing-masing diaplikasikan satu kali setiap 4 dan 12 hari. Selanjutnya, sampel tanah diambil pada hari ke 30 hst, 37 hst dan 45 hst, untuk dilakukan pengukuruan kandungan nitrogen. Kadar amonium diukur dengan metode nitroprusid (Baethgen & Alley, 1989) sedangkan andungan nitrat dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode reduksi hidrazin (Kamphake et.al., 1967). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tanah budidaya bayam dengan aplikasi pupuk urin manusia didapatkan amonium dengan konsentrasi mencapai 0.2484µg N per gram tanah dan nitrat 0.2663 µg N per gram tanah.
