Abstract

Di Indonesia, handball merupakan olahraga kompetitif yang sangat populer saat ini. Olahraga handball dikategorikan sebagai olahraga yang memiliki risiko cedera yang tinggi dan permainannya memerlukan kombinasi kecepatan, kekuatan, daya tahan, ketangkasan, dan persiapan mental, serta ditandai dengan aktivitas intensitas tinggi dan kontak fisik antar atlet. Faktor risiko cedera yang terjadi pada atlet handball ini dikarenakan kekuatan otot yang rendah, teknik yang salah, kurangnya fleksibilitas, dan rehabilitasi cedera yang tidak memadai.. Pencegahan cedera pada atlet handball penting dilakukan untuk meminimalisir terjadinya cedera. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan metode kuantitatif, pemilihan subjek dipilih berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa atlet handball yang mempunyai kekuatan otot hamstring dengan kategori baik (7 atlet), kurang (3 atlet), dan buruk (4 atlet). Sehingga penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa otot hamstring pada atlet handball kota Surabaya memiliki kekuatan dan imbalance yang berbeda-beda.Kata Kunci: profile, nordic hamstring, bola tanganAbstract In Indonesia, handball is a competitive sport that is very popular today. Handball is categorized as a sport that has a high risk of injury and the game requires a combination of speed, strength, endurance, agility, and mental preparation, and is characterized by high-intensity activity and physical contact between athletes. The risk factors for injury that occur in handball athletes are low muscle strength, incorrect technique, lack of flexibility, and inadequate injury rehabilitation. Injury prevention in handball athletes is important to minimize the occurrence of injuries. This research uses descriptive research with quantitative methods, subject selection is selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of this study revealed that handball athletes had hamstring muscle strength in the categories of good (7 athletes), poor (3 athletes), and very poor (4 athletes). So this research shows that the hamstring muscles in handball athletes in the city of Surabaya have different strengths and imbalances.Kata kunci: Profiling, Nordic Hamstring, Handball

Abstract

Dalam permainan bola tangan keberhasilan flyingshoot dipengaruhi beberapa faktor, dengan kekuatan otot bahu, daya tahan otot perut, power otot tungkai ini sebagai faktor terbesarnya serta penguasaan teknik dasar yang baik pada permainan bola tangan. Kekuatan otot adalah hal krusial yang berperan penting dalam peningkatan kondisi fisik secara menyeluruh, kekuatan salah satu kunci kondisi fisik yang mendasar bagi atlet yang berperan sebagai pelindung, untuk mengurangi risiko cedera. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis daya tahan otot perut, atlet bola tangan wanita Kota Surabaya tahun 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan analisis statistik. Hasil analisa rata- rata hasil tes daya tahan otot perut yakni 130 detik. Penelitian ini sebagai alat bantu acuan dalam menyusun program latihan yang tujuannya peningkatan kondisi fisik atlet binaan secara signifikan, dapat menambah pengetahuan atlet mengenai preventive injury untuk menghindari hal yang tidak diinginkan, dan menjadikan penelitian ini sebagai acuan penelitian selanjutnya yang lebih inspiratif.Kata Kunci: bola tangan, flyingshoot, daya tahan otot perut. AbstractAbdominal muscle endurance, as the biggest factor and good mastery of basic techniques in handball games. Muscle strength is crucial that plays an important role in improving overall physical condition, strength is one of the keys to the fundamental physical condition for athletes who act as protectors, to reduce the risk of injury. This study aims to analyze the condition of abdominal muscle endurance of female handball athletes in Surabaya City in 2023. This study used quantitative descriptive method with statistical analysis. The results of analysis of the average abdominal muscle endurance test results of 130 seconds. This research is a reference tool in developing training programs that aim to improve the physical condition of athletes Coaching significantly, can increase athletes' knowledge about preventive injury to avoid unwanted things, and make this research a reference for further research that is more inspiring.Keywords: handball, flyingshoot, abdominal muscle endurance

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode latihan drill smash sasaran tetap dan sasaran berubah terhadap peningkatan akurasi pukulan smash atlet Bulutangkis PB Merah Putih. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desian ‘‘two group pre test post test design’’. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet PB Merah Putih yang sampelnya terdiri atas 16 atlet. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan Total Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah instrumen tes kemampuan smash. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Ada pengaruh latihan drill smash sasaran tetap terhadap peningkatan akurasi pukulan smash atlet Bulutangkis PB Merah Putih, dengan -t hitung -8,819 < -t tabel 2,365 dan nilai signifikansi 0.000 < 0,05 dengan kenaikan persentase sebesar 37,8%. Ada pengaruh latihan drill smash berubah tetap terhadap peningkatan akurasi pukulan smash atlet Bulutangkis PB Merah Putih, dengan -t hitung -8,147 < -t tabel 2,365 dan nilai signifikansi 0.000 < 0,05 dengan kenaikan persentase sebesar 34,8%. Kata Kunci: Latihan Drill Smash, Ketepatan Smash, Bulutangkis.

Abstract

Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah bagaimana profil pelatih perguruan pencak silat dari aspek pencapain prestasi, kualitas pelatih dan gaya kepemimpinan di kabupaten jepara,tujuan penelitian ini Untuk mengetahui profil pelatih perguruan pencak silat dari aspek kualitas pelatih, pencapaian prestasi dan gaya kepemimpinan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah pengurus IPSI, pelatih perguruan dan pengurus pelatih perguruan. analisis data penelitian ini mengunakan empat komponen yang saling berinteraksi yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan Kesimpulan, Hasil penelitian ini ada beberapa aspek kualifikasi pelatih perguruan pencak silat di kabupaten Jepara, yaitu kualitas pelatih : 80% tanding,47% lama melatih,karakteristik pelatih 70%, 40% lisensi kabupaten dan 62% Pendidikan Pelatih SMA, pencapaian prestasi : 55% kejuaraan yang diikuti pelatih, 57% jumah kejuaraan yang pernah di ikuti, 65% prestasi atlet kabupaten dan gaya kepemimpinan: Penguasaan atlet 62%, pengaruh positif 37% dan karakteristik untuk usia dini 45%. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepuasan layanan sport massage bagi pelanggan sport recovery di ShareFit Surabaya, dengan menggunakan jenis deskriptif dan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survei, instrumen berupa angket melalui wawancara dan google form sebanyak 31 butir pernyataan mencakup tentang lima dimensi kualitas layanan (Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, dan Emphaty). Teknik sampling menggunakan total sampling dengan sasaran penelitian ini seluruh pelanggan sport massage ShareFit Surabaya yang berjumlah 55 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data deskripsi kuantitatif dengan bentuk presentase. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan kepuasan layanan sport massage bagi pelanggan sport recovery di ShareFit Surabaya masuk dalam kategori “puas”. Penjelasan lebih detail hasil penelitian pada masing-masing dimensi, dimensi Tangible 54,56% kategori “puas”, dimensi Reliability 47,29% kategori “puas” dimensi Responsiveness 41,83% kategori “sangat puas, dimensi Assurance 38,20% kategori “puas”, dimensi Emphaty 34,54% kategori “puas dan tidak puas seimbang”. Dengan hasil ini kualitas layanan di sport massage ShareFit Surabaya tergolong baik, akan tetapi pihak manajemen ShareFit Surabaya harus senantiasa mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanannya agar dapat selalu memenuhi kepuasan para pelanggan. Abstract

Objectives: This study aimed to determine the contribution of arm length and torso length to serve reception accuracy and field defense accuracy from position 2 among Premier League volleyball players. Materials and Methods: This study used a descriptive survey method. The population consisted of 140 players from 10 Premier League volleyball clubs. The sample was selected purposively, involving 24 players from 8 clubs. A pilot test was also conducted with 12 players from 2 clubs. Data were collected through anthropometric measurements and volleyball skill tests, then analyzed using descriptive and correlational statistics. Results: The results showed that torso length had a significant relationship with serve reception accuracy. This finding indicates that torso length may support balance and stability during volleyball performance. However, arm length did not show a significant effect on serve reception or field defense accuracy from position 2. Conclusions: Torso length contributed to serve reception accuracy, while arm length was not a strong predictor of serve reception or field defense performance. Field defense from position 2 may be more influenced by agility, reaction speed, balance, and coordination.

Abstract

Objectives: This study aimed to examine the effect of specific strength training exercises using training aids on the development of three-player fast-break performance among under-18 basketball players. Materials and Methods: This study used an experimental method with a pre-test and post-test control group design. The research population consisted of basketball players from seven clubs in Dhi Qar Governorate, Iraq, during the 2025–2026 season. The sample was selected purposively from Al-Nasiriya Club players under 18 years old. A total of 30 players participated, with 10 players used for the pilot study and 20 players assigned to the main research sample, divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group received specific strength training exercises using training aids, while the control group followed the regular training program. Data were collected through pre- and post-tests of three-player fast-break performance and analyzed using appropriate statistical procedures. Results: The results showed that the experimental group achieved greater improvement in three-player fast-break performance after applying the proposed strength training exercises with training aids. The training program helped improve movement coordination, transition speed from defense to offense, attacking organization, and scoring effectiveness during fast-break situations. Conclusions: Specific strength training exercises using training aids had a positive effect on developing three-player fast-break performance among under-18 basketball players. These exercises may be recommended for youth basketball coaches to improve fast-break execution, reduce random attacking movements, and enhance offensive effectiveness during competition.

Abstract

Objectives: This study aimed to examine the effect of a proposed training program using visual feedback on improving skill performance in floor gymnastics exercises among students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. Materials and Methods: This study used an experimental design with two equivalent groups, namely an experimental group and a control group, through pre- and post-test measurements. The sample consisted of 30 students who were randomly divided into two equal groups. The experimental group followed a 12-week visual feedback-based training program with three training units per week, while the control group continued with the traditional training program. Skill and physical performance tests were used to measure students’ floor gymnastics performance. The data were analyzed using SPSS. Results: The results showed statistically significant differences between the pre-test and post-test in favor of the experimental group at the 0.05 significance level. The experimental group also achieved better post-test results than the control group, indicating that the visual feedback-based training program contributed positively to improving floor gymnastics skill performance. Conclusions: The proposed training program using visual feedback was effective in developing students’ skill performance in floor gymnastics exercises. Visual feedback can be used by lecturers and coaches as a practical training strategy to help students recognize movement errors, improve technical execution, and achieve better performance outcomes.

Abstract

Objectives: This study aimed to develop and apply an organizational excellence scale for sports club management and to identify the level of organizational excellence in sports clubs from the perspective of administrative members in Maysan Governorate. Materials and Methods: This study used a descriptive survey design. The research population consisted of 171 members of sports club administrative bodies in Maysan Governorate. The sample was divided into an exploratory sample of 11 members, a scale-construction sample of 90 members, and an application sample of 70 members. The Organizational Excellence Scale was developed through expert validation, item analysis, internal consistency testing, and reliability analysis. Data were analyzed using SPSS and Microsoft Excel. Results: The Organizational Excellence Scale consisted of 32 items distributed across eight domains: clarity of goals, organizational trust, morale, adaptability, resource utilization, cohesion, creativity, and problem-solving. The application results showed a high level of organizational excellence, with a mean score of 82.765 compared with a hypothetical mean of 64. Most respondents were classified at the high level, followed by the very high and medium levels. Conclusions: The developed scale showed acceptable psychometric indicators and can be used to assess organizational excellence in sports clubs. The findings indicate that sports clubs in Maysan Governorate generally demonstrate a high level of organizational excellence, although continued improvement is needed in administrative coordination, resource utilization, and institutional development.

Abstract

Objectives: This study aimed to examine the effect of high-intensity skill training on fast-break performance among young basketball players. Materials and Methods: A one-group experimental design with pre-test and post-test measurements was used. The participants were 10 male youth basketball players aged 16–17 years from Al-Kut Sports Club. The training program lasted eight weeks and consisted of 24 sessions, conducted three times per week. Each session included 30 minutes of skill-based high-intensity exercises focusing on dribbling, long passing, layup scoring, rebounding, and fast-break execution. Data were analyzed using SPSS with paired-sample t-tests. Results: The findings showed significant improvements in dominant-arm dribbling, layup scoring between obstacles, layup accuracy, rebounding/follow-up performance, and total fast-break execution time. However, long passing did not show a statistically significant improvement. Conclusions: High-intensity skill training was effective in improving several fast-break-related skills among young basketball players, particularly dribbling speed, layup performance, rebounding actions, and overall fast-break execution. Coaches are encouraged to integrate game-like high-intensity skill drills into youth basketball training programs.
