Abstract

Social Studies (IPS) learning at elementary school level often still relies on lecture methods and does not involve the use of learning media, making the learning atmosphere monotonous and less interesting. This has an impact on low student involvement and their understanding of the material presented. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Learning Media Bank as an innovative alternative in improving the quality of IPS learning in grade 3 of SDN Sungai Miai 5. The approach used is qualitative with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving teachers and students. The results of the study indicate that the Learning Media Bank, which contains concrete media such as physical teaching aids and digital media such as learning videos, simulations, and interactive presentations, is effective in increasing student learning motivation, active participation, and understanding. In addition, the existence of this media also helps teachers save preparation time and enrich learning strategies. Although there are still obstacles such as limited facilities and low digital literacy of some teachers, the Media Bank remains a relevant and useful solution for creating more interesting and contextual IPS learning.

Abstract

Penggunaan model pembelajaran yang monoton dan kurang interaktif menyebabkan peserta didik cenderung pasif, kurang antusias, dan tampak jenuh mengikuti pelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji problematika terkait penggunaan model pembelajaran di kelas V SDN Sungai Miai 1 Banjarmasin dan kemudian mengimplementasikan model two stay two sebagai alternatif penyelesaian masalah model pembelajaran tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model TSTS mampu menciptakan iklim pembelajaran yang partisipatif sehingga muncul motivasi dan rasa percaya diri peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih interaktif, kolaboratif, dan menyenangkan dikarenakan peserta didik terlibat aktif dalam diskusi kelompok, pertukaran informasi, serta penyusunan simpulan bersama. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model TSTS dapat menjadi solusi strategis untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPAS dan direkomendasikan untuk diterapkan untuk mengatasi permasalahan serupa.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Board Game learning media "Arena Jelajah Bencana" based on Augmented Reality as a solution to the problems of social studies learning in class V SDN Surgi Mufti 4. Using a qualitative descriptive approach through a case study, the study was conducted on 35 students and homeroom teachers of class V as informants. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation, with data analysis using triangulation techniques. The results of the study showed that previously social studies learning at the school used a projector to display videos from YouTube and the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM), which caused students to tend to be passive. The Board Game media "Arena Jelajah Bencana" integrated with Augmented Reality technology succeeded in creating interactive and contextual learning through 3D visual simulations of disaster events, group collaboration, and educational challenges. The results of the study revealed the positive impact of the implementation of the media in four main aspects: (1) students' learning motivation is reflected through curiosity and meaningful questions that arise during learning; (2) the transformation of students' active participation, especially those who were previously passive, to be more courageous in group discussions; (3) development of interest in learning about natural disaster material, shown by high enthusiasm and longer attention duration; and (4) students' ability to explain the concept of natural disasters in a structured manner shows good learning outcomes,

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan penerapan media pembelajaran video interaktif PETAKU (Peta, Tanda, Lingkunganku) sebagai sarana pembelajaran kontekstual pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di kelas V SDN Alalak Selatan 1. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi satu orang guru IPAS dan 25 peserta didik kelas V. Proses pembelajaran dilakukan dengan memutar video PETAKU di ruang kelas, menghentikan tayangan pada titik tertentu untuk diskusi, dan meminta peserta didik mengidentifikasi serta mengaitkan simbol peta dengan objek nyata di sekitar mereka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media PETAKU berhasil meningkatkan antusiasme, keterlibatan aktif, dan pemahaman konsep kenampakan alam dan buatan. Peserta didik lebih mudah mengaitkan simbol peta dengan objek di sekitar mereka, lebih berani bertanya, serta menunjukkan partisipasi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional. Meskipun demikian, variasi lambang peta dalam video masih perlu diperluas agar cakupan simbol lebih representatif. Secara keseluruhan, media interaktif PETAKU terbukti efektif sebagai alternatif solusi untuk mengoptimalkan pembelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPS tentu memelukan sebuah penilaian yang sesuai untuk menilai rangkaian aktivitas yang menyesuaikan dengan kondisi sebenarnya yang tengah terjadi. Penilaian berbasis proyek dapat menjadi solusi atas permasalahan tersebut, dimana penilaian berbasis proyek merupakan salah satu bentuk penilaian yang sejalan dengan prinsip penilaian kurikulum masa kini yang menekankan pada kesinambungan dan menyeluruh. Untuk menunjang proses penilaian yang autentik dalam pembelajaran IPS penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengembangan instrumen penilaian proyek pada pembelajaran IPS di kelas 5 di Sekolah Dasar secara terbatas. Selain itu, penelitian dan pengembangan ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan insterumen penilaian proyek tersebut. Pengembangan penilaian proyek yang dikembangkan diinput dalam google classroom yang meliputi: (1) Perencanaan Proyek, (2) Pengumpulan Data, (3) Pengolahan Data, (4). Presentasi Proyek.

Abstract

This study investigates the use of the Role Reversal Question Strategy method in Akidah Akhlak learning and its impact on improving student learning outcomes. The type of research used is the type of experimental research. In this study, the research approach used was a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was all 20 students of grade V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah NW Lendang Damai. The research time was carried out in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. To obtain data on student learning outcomes after being treated with role reversal question strategies in the Akidah Akhlak class V subject of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah NW Lendang Damai for the 2020/2021 academic year.The results showed that the use of the Role Reversal Question method had a significant positive impact on increasing students' understanding of the Akidah Akhlak subject matter. Students can be more active in finding solutions to problems given during learning. This finding is consistent with Mel Silberman's view that the Role Reversal Question method is one effective active learning approach. Therefore, recommendations are given to teachers to consider the use of more interactive learning strategies and focus on the active role of students in the learning process in order to improve student learning outcomes in the future

Abstract

Research with the title: "Use of Image Media in Improving Mathematics Learning Outcomes for Class III Students at SDN 2 Buwun Mas Belongas Academic Year 2022/2023". aims to determine the increase in mathematics learning outcomes after using image media in class III students at SDN 2 Buwun Mas Belongas. This research uses a qualitative approach. The nature of this research is descriptive. Data collection was carried out using interview and documentation techniques. Meanwhile, for data analysis techniques, researchers use data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research through analysis show that the use of image media in mathematics subjects for Class III Students at SDN 2 Buwun Mas Belongas, Sekotong District has been carried out quite well. This can be seen based on interviews conducted by researchers, namely the selection of image media made by class III teachers according to the material and students' level of development. Considering the characteristics of class III students, the learning process still requires an intermediary who can describe abstract things into concrete forms, namely those that can be captured by the five senses so that students can easily understand the concepts taught by the teacher. So choosing interesting media will have a big influence on the learning process. The consideration for using image media in mathematics learning is to facilitate students' understanding. Apart from that, image media can also clarify lesson material so that it is easy to observe. Image media can also generate interest in students. Lastly, image media is used to abbreviate a description or material which, if explained in words, might require a long description.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the strategies implemented by classroom teachers to address reading and writing difficulties among students at State Elementary School 4 Kuranji for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research method employed is qualitative. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that teachers utilize various strategies, including individualized learning approaches, the use of interactive learning media, and intensive tutoring outside of regular class hours. Additionally, parental involvement in the students' learning process is regarded as an important factor in overcoming these learning difficulties. This study contributes to the understanding of the critical role of teachers in supporting students' basic literacy skills and underscores the necessity of collaboration between schools and parents.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to increase student learning activities in the Fiqh Subject Class II MI NW Gelogor for the 2022/2023 Academic Year by applying Demonstration and Experimental Methods. This research uses a quantitative approach with a Quasi Experimental Design type of research. The research setting or location is MI NW Gelogor. Data collection techniques use observation, test and documentation methods. Observation is used to observe teaching and learning activities. Tests are used to obtain data on student learning outcomes. Meanwhile, documentation is used to obtain data regarding the profile of MI NW Gelogor, facilities and infrastructure, and student data. This research focuses on comparing learning outcomes before and after treatment (pre or post test) with the help of the SPSS 14.0 Windows application. The results of the research show that the results of the one simple t-test obtained a statistical t value (demonstration) of 9.239 > 2.131 (t table) and a p value of 0.000 < 0.050 and a statistical t value (experiment) of 17.486 > 2.131 (t table) and the p value of 0.000 < 0.050. So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that the Demonstration and Experimental Learning Method has a positive and significant influence on the Fiqh Learning Results of Class II MI NW Gelogor Students for the 2022/2023 Academic Year

Abstract

The great child method is a method of learning to read without spelling which has several steps in the learning process. This great child reading tutoring is a unique tutoring institution because this tutoring provides services to learn to read and write and count with 30 minutes per student with individual services not classical or group. The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis and to find out the implementation of the learning method of the great child on the reading ability of elementary school children aged 6-7 years at the tutoring institution of the Usman Baharun Ba'alawi Foundation, Bengkel Village. This research method uses descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection used through interviews, observation and documentation. The research instruments used observation guidelines, interview guidelines, documentation guidelines. The results showed that in the learning process of tutoring at the Usman Baharun Foundation Institution using the method of great child, it was quite fun for children and easier for children to accept because children were not required to memorise but just flowed through writing and playing so that children unconsciously mastered the lessons given. The conclusion shows that this research: The process of analysing reading activities for children aged 6-7 years at the Usman Baharun Ba'alawi Foundation tutoring institution using the great child method has a significant effect on improving children's reading skills, one of the supporting factors of reading activities for children aged 6-7 years at the Usman Baharun Ba'alawi Foundation tutoring institution, namely parents or guardians of students and the Bengkel village community feel enthusiastic about the presence of this institution
