Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, dan (2) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa agar tercapainya ketuntasan klasikal pada mata pelajaran pemograman dasar siswa kelas X jurusan Multimedia di SMKN 2 Sumbawa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart (Perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Multimedia SMKN 2 Sumbawa, NTB yang berjumlah 34 orang melibatkan guru dan seorang observer. Data motivasi dan nilai sikap diambil menggunakan angket. Data keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran diambil dengan menggunakan lembar observasi. Data nilai pengetahuan dan unjuk kerja diambil menggunakan skala penilaian yang dilengkapi dengan rubrik. Teknik analisis data motivasi dan nilai sikap menggunakan analisis deskriptif kemudian digolongkan kedalam skor baku untuk mengkategorisasikan motivasi belajar dan nilai sikap. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pengunaan modul pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. (2) penggunaan modul dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar (nilai sikap, nilai pengetahuan dan praktik). IMPROVING MOTIVATION AND LEARNING OUTCOMES IN BASIC PROGRAMMING USING MODULES IN SMKN 2 SUMBAWAAbstractThis research aims to: (1) improve student's motivation and (2) improve student's learning outcomes to achieve the classical completeness on basic programming course in class X Multimedia majors at SMKN 2 Sumbawa. This research is a classroom action research that uses Kemmis and Mc. Taggart (planning, implementation, observation, and reflection) models. Subjects in this study is the tenthgrade of Multimedia students at SMKN 2 Sumbawa NTB amounting to 34 people involving teachers and an observer. The motivation data and value of attitude were taken using a questionnaire and the data of learning process was taken using observation sheets. The knowledge and performance values were taken using a assessment scale which was equipped with a rubric. The data analysis technique of motivation and value of attitude used descriptive analysis and were classified into raw scores to categorize the value of learning motivation and attitudes. The result of this research are as follows: (1) Using learning module can improve student's motivation. (2) Using learning module to improve learning outcomes (attitudes, knowledge and practices).

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kinerja mengajar guru, keterlibatan orang tua, aktualisasi diri dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap prestasi siswa kelas XII pada mata pelajaran teori Teknik Kendaraan Ringan di SMK Negeri Se-Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan ex post facto. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 535 siswa dengan sampel sebanyak 237 siswa, yang ditentukan secara proportional random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dua cara yaitu angket dan tes prestasi. Data penelitian yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kinerja mengajar guru, keterlibatan orang tua, aktualisasi diri dan motivasi berprestasi masing-masing sebesar 0,145; 0,128; 0,108; dan 0,098. Kata kunci: kinerja mengajar guru, keterlibatan orang tua, aktualisasi diri, motivasi berprestasi, prestasi belajar THE INFLUENCE OF TEACHERS' TEACHING PERFORMANCE, PARENTS' INVOLVEMENT, SELF-ACTUALIZATION, AND ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION TOWARD ACHIEVEMENTAbstractThe purpose of this study is to determine the influence level of teachers' teaching performance, parents' involvement, self-actualization and achievement motivation for the twelfth grade students' achievement on theory subject of Light Vehicle Technology of SMK Negeri in Gunungkidul Regency. This research is quantitative research which uses expost facto design. Population in this research as much as 535 students, with 237 students as respondents specified by proportional random sampling. In getting data, the writer used two techniques; questionnaires and achievement tests. The research data were analyzed using regression analysis. The results of this study show there is influence of the teachers' teaching performance, parents' involvement, self-actualization and achievement motivation each 0.145; 0.128; 0.108; and 0.098.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of e-module of electronic records management integrated with experiential learning strategies to improve student achievement in the domain of cognitive, psychomotor, and affective. This study is a research and development. Model research and development used is Web-Based Instructional Design (WBID) developed by Davidson-Shivers and Rasmussen. The steps of research and development carried out by analysis, evaluation planning, concurrent design, implementation, and a summative evaluation. The approach used in this study consisted of qualitative and quantitative approaches. Collecting data used the Delphi technique, observation, documentation studies and tests. Research data analysis used qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Testing the effectiveness of the product used a quasi-experimental research design pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group. The results showed that the e-module of electronic records management integrated with experiential learning strategies can improve student achievement in the domain of cognitive, psychomotor, and affective.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menghasilkan produk multimedia interaktif pada Kompetensi Dasar Mengoperasikan Software Basis Data, (2) mengetahui kelayakan produk multimedia interaktif tersebut, (3) mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran dengan multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran tanpa multimedia interaktif tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan berdasarkan model Alessi & Trollip yang pelaksanaan uji coba keefektifannya menggunakan quasi eksperimen. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi kualitas produk pengembangan dan hasil belajar. Analisis data dilakukan dengan statistik deskriptif, inferensial menggunakan uji t, serta ukuran pengaruh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) produk yang dihasilkan adalah multimedia interaktif berupa simulasi software basis data, (2) hasil tes alfa dan tes beta menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan mempunyai kualitas baik sehingga layak untuk uji coba, (3) pembelajaran dengan multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran tanpa multimedia interaktif tersebut. DEVELOPING OPERATING DATABASE SOFTWARE BASIC COMPETENCY INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA FOR SMK NEGERI 1 SEYEGANAbstractThis study aims to (1) produce an interactive multimedia on Operating Database Software Basic Competency, (2) find out the quality of the product, (3) find out the effectiveness of learning using the developed product compared to learning without using it. This study was a research and development study based on Alessi & Trollip model in which the effectiveness tryout employed a quasi-experiment. The collected data consisted of those on the quality of the developed product and students' learning outcome. The data were analyzed by means of the descriptive statistics, inferential statistics using t-test, and effect size. The results of the study shows that: (1) the developed product is an interactive multimedia which is a database software simulation, (2) the results of alpha and beta tests show that the developed product has a good quality so that it is appropriate for the tryout, (3) learning using the developed product is more effective than that without using it.

Relevansi kurikulum prodi pendidikan teknik mesin FKIP Universitas Palangka Raya dengan kompetensi guru pemula SMK Supatra, I Made; Soeharto, Soeharto

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran relevansi kurikulum Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin FKIP Universitas Palangka Raya dengan kompetensi guru pemula SMK, berdasarkan tinjauan terhadap profil kurikulum dan profil kompetensi mahasiswa calon guru pemula SMK. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan The Explanatory Sequential Design. Informasi data penelitian diperoleh dari populasi 18 orang dosen dan dari populasi 24 orang mahasiswa yang melaksanakan PPL II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin FKIP Universitas Palangka Raya relevan dengan kompetensi guru pemula SMK dengan persentase sebesar 72,96%. Kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa PPL II relevan dengan kompetensi guru pemula SMK dengan persentase sebesar 63,64%. Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin FKIP Universitas Palangka Raya belum menetapkan standar kompetensi lulusan untuk konsentrasi bidang otomotif. Terdapat empat pola hubungan antara materi kurikulum Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin FKIP Universitas Palangka Raya dengan Standar Kompetensi Guru Pemula SMK. Mahasiswa PPL II belum memiliki kompetensi secara utuh sebagai calon guru pemula SMK, dan belum mampu menciptakan atsmosfer belajar yang kondusif dalam proses pembelajaran di SMK. THE RELEVANCE OF CURRICULUM OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING EDUCATION PROGRAM OF THE FACULTY OF TEACHING AND EDUCATIONAL SCIENCES, PALANGKARAYA UNIVERSITY, WITH THE VET NOVICE TEACHERS' COMPETENCIESAbstractThe aim of this study was to determine the description of the relevance of the curriculum of Mechanical Engineering Education Program, Faculty of Teaching and Educational Sciences, Palangkaraya University, with the VET novice teachers' competencies based on the review of the curriculum profiles and the competency profiles of the VET novice teachers. This study was a descriptive study with the explanatory sequential design. This study was conducted to the curriculum of Mechanical Engineering Education Program, Faculty of Teaching and Educational Sciences, Palangkaraya University. The information of the research data was obtained from the population of 18 lecturers and the population of 24 students who performed PPL II. The results show that the curriculum of Mechanical Engineering Education Program of the Faculty of Teaching and Educational Sciences, Palangkaraya University is relevant with the VET novice teachers' competencies with the percentage of 72.96%. The competencies possessed by the PPL II students are relevant with the VET novice teachers' competencies with the percentage of 63.64%. The Mechanical Engineering Education Program, Faculty of Teaching and Educational Sciences, Palangkaraya University has not set competency standards for the concentration of automotive expertise. There are four patterns of relationship between curriculum materials of The Mechanical Engineering Education Program, Faculty of Teaching and Educational Sciences, Palangkaraya University with the VET novice teacher competency standards. The PPL II Students are not yet fully competent as VET novice teachers, and has not been able to create a conducive learning atsmosfer in the process of learning in VET.

Managerial competency evaluation of vocational school principals in Magelang Agnes Deswatun Khasanah; N. Nuchron

The purpose of this study was to discover the implementation of managerial competence of vocational school principals in Magelang from the perspective of (1) planning, (2) implementation, and (3) result. This study had a form of evaluation research with discrepancy method. The subjects of this study were four principals and thirty teachers of SMK Ma’arif 1 Ngluwar, SMK Ma’arif Salam, SMK Ma’arif Kota Mungkid, and SMK N 1 Salam. The data were collected using questionnaire and interview. This study used analysis of quantitative descriptive as analysis data method. The result of this study indicated that the planning of principals’ managerial competence acquired from questionnaire was in “very good” category with average score 52.70; the implementation of vocational school principals’ managerial competence in Magelang based on the questionnaire result was in “very good” category with the average score 127.25; and the result of vocational school principals’ managerial competence in Magelang based on the questionnaire was in “very good” category with the average score 34.20.

Assessment of student learning outcomes needs to be done using tests that meet the criteria for quality tests. This study aims to determine the quality of teacher-made tests on financial accounting subjects in Vocational High Schools. This research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. Data collected are questions made by 32 teachers, answer sheets from 689 Accounting students. The validity of objective and essay tests using product-moment correlation. Reliability of the objective test using the KR20 formula, while the essay test using Alpha formula. Difficulty level and distinguishing power of objective tests using Anates 4. Difficulty level and distinguishing power of essay tests used Microsoft Excel 2013. The research results obtained are as follows: (1) validity of teacher-made test items cannot accurately measure learning outcomes; (2) reliability of teacher-made tests cannot show stable results despite repeated testing of the same subject; (3) teacher-made tests do not have a proportion of degree of difficulty that is suitable for use as a Mid-Semester assessment tool; (4) distinguishing power of tests made by teachers cannot distinguish students who have mastered the test material (upper or superior group) from students who have not mastered the test material (lower group or user); (5) Multiple choice test distractors made by teachers are not evenly chosen, and the key options and deception options do not function effectively. Quality analysis of teacher-made tests through item analysis is intended to identify damaged test items and to show areas that are already mastered by students.

The purpose of research is to produce a tiered teacher qualification standards of competence and qualification assessment levels rise as a guide ongoing professional development of teachers of VHS.Type mix of research methods, approaches Research and Development of Richey and Klein (2009, p.8) are limited to 2 stages of development and product validation. Internal validation by expert judgment Delphi Technique 2 rounds and FGD. External validation of the test product on teachers vocational competency skills Techniques Audio Video in Yogyakarta. Retrieving data using questionnaires. Test the validity of the instrument using factor analysis with SPSS version 20, the validity of 77.781% in the high category. Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient of 0.896 in the category of very reliable. Data were analyzed using the Rank-Order of Difference Scores.Stakeholders assess differences in the demands of professional competence and work area clear hierarchy between the teacher. Standard assessment level rise is able to describe the complexity of teaching. Effectiveness qualification standards can be improved mainly through the standard explanation tiered competence and qualifications, assessment of real professional attributes inherent in the everyday lives of teachers.

This study aims to determine the impact of the beauty training program in PPKD of East Jakarta on students. The impact can be seen based on three criteria, namely positive impacts according to program objectives, positive impacts outside the program objectives (side effects), and negative impacts outside the program objectives. The research method used in this study is an evaluative study using the Goal Free Evaluation model. The research subjects consisted of: managers, instructors, and beauty training participants in PPKD of East Jakarta . Data was collected using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that (1) the positive impact according to the program objectives was felt by almost all training participants, namely they could increase their knowledge and skills in the field of beauty and were ready to enter the workforce, (2) a positive impact outside the program objectives freelance work as a makeup artist, having confidence in work, and daring to open a business in the field of beauty, and (3) negative impacts outside the program's objectives felt by a small number of training participants who were less serious and less focused on training that they could not accept the material taught so that they are not ready to enter the workforce.

Pengembangan modul prakarya dan kewirausahaan materi kerajinan berbasis proses di SMK Prasetya, Eka Rima; Sukardi, Sukardi

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul prakarya dan kewirausahaan materi kerajinan berbasis proses yang layak digunakan di SMK. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: (1) modul prakarya dan kewirausahaan materi kerajinan berbasis proses layak digunakan; (2) menurut siswa, modul yang dikembangkan berkualitas sangat baik, dan jika dilihat dari nilai skewness distribusi data adalah normal; (3) penerapan modul dalam proses pembelajaran secara umun dapat terlaksana; dan (4) peningkatan pemahaman siswa dengan menggunakan modul yang dikembangkan berkategori sedang dengan rerata gain score sebesar 0,62 dan selisih nilai (effect size) 14,5 dengan persentase ketuntasan siswa sebesar 87%. Pembelajaran menggunakan modul juga mampu melatih kemandirian siswa dalam belajar dan mampu menumbuhkan kemampuan dalam bekerjasama. This study was research and development.. The results of the study were as follows: (1) the developed craft and entrepreneurship module of process-based craft materials was appropriate for use; (2) according to the students, the developed module was very good and the skewness of the data distribution was normal; (3) in general, the implementation of the module in the learning process was succesful; (4) the improvement of the students' understanding after using the developed module was in a fair category with an average score gain of 0.62 and the difference in value (effect size) was 14.5 with the percentage of mastery of about 87%. The instruction using the module was also able to train the students' autonomy in learning and to generate the ability to cooperate.
