Abstract

This study aims to determine the success factors of the learning media of tutorial and skill e-report portfolios video-based in teaching factory learning outcomes in vocational high school. This study was the Research and Development model, through several stages, namely: (1) collecting data; (2) planning; (3) developing draft; (4) conducting initial trials; (5) revising the trial results; (6) conducting trial site research; (7) improving the productivity of the test results, (8) conducting test, (9) completing the final product; and (10) disseminating and implementing the result. This study was conducted at 58 Public Vocational High School, Jakarta. The samples were random sampling, consisting of 59 students majoring in painting and visual communication design in the control class and the experimental class. The instrument was a multiple-choice test sheet (multiple choice) through pre-test and post-test. The results of the study were analyzed using a t-test. The t-test average of the experimental class, Visual Communication Design, was 11.522. The t-test average of the control class was 10.832. Thus, the average learning outcomes of the experimental class were 0.69, which is bigger than in the control class. In the experimental class, Painting Class, the average learning outcome was 67, and the control class was 54.5. Therefore, there was a difference of 12.5. The hypothesis stated that there were differences in teaching factory learning resulted from the pre-test and post-test experimental classes majoring in Painting and Visual Communication Design. The instructional media of Tutorials and Skill E-Report Portfolio Video-Based got very good responses from students.

Abstract

This research is to (1) analyze the implementation of new field project; (2) develop conceptual model of WBL integrated to industry; (3) test the validity of WBL integrated; (4) test the effectiveness of integrated WBL. This is educational and development research using randomized pretest-posttest and controlled group design. The population was all vocational school students.  The research was conducted from March to December 2016. Data were collected by listing, using observation sheet, interviewing guidline and documenting.   Validating was done by some experts.  The data were analyzed in descriptive and multivariate Analysis of Variance by SPSS.17. The result shows that (1) the implementation field project has some weaknesses;  (a) the schools are less prepared to plan the program, place and MoU; (b) schools never formally invite outside; (c) not all schools have a guidance to do a field project and schools only measure student's skill aspect after doing field project; (2) developing model through philosophical level, theoritical  level, methodological level, dan classroom practice; (3) after validation of the guidance book by 12 experts, it shows the average score up to  4;  (4) The group using WBL is more effective than that using field project in increasing the student'.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui perbedaan motivasi dan tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa antara pembelajaran model blended learning dengan pembelajaran konvensional, dan (2) mengetahui peningkatan motivasi dan tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa akibat penerapan pembelajaran model blended learning. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester 2 tahun ajaran 2013/2014 Program Studi Pendidikan Teknologi Informasi dan Komputer STKIP PGRI Pontianak yang berjumlah sebanyak 270 mahasiswa. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling berjumlah 156 mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes soal berbentuk pilihan ganda dan angket, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik parametrik uji-t dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar mahasiswa antara pembelajaran model blended learning dengan pembelajaran konvensional sebesar 5,782 dan terdapat perbedaan tingkat pemahaman sebesar 9,935 serta (2) ada peningkatan motivasi belajar mahasiswa akibat penerapan pembelajaran model blended learning rata-rata peningkatan 11,705 dan ada peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa rata-rata peningkatan 30,288. THE EFFECTS OF BLENDED LEARNING MODEL ON THE STUDENT'S MOTIVATION AND UNDERSTANDING ON THE SUBJECT OF ALGORITHMS AND PROGRAMMINGAbstractThis research aims (1) to determine the differences in motivation and understanding level of the students between learning model of blended learning and the conventional, and (2) the improvement of students learning motivation and understanding due to the use of blended learning model .This research was a quasi-experimental. The population is the second semester students of the academic year 2013/2014 Study Program Computer and Information Technology Department of Teacher Training and Education PGRI Pontianak as many as 270 students. The selection of the sample of students was done using purposive sampling technique as many as 156 students. Collecting data using test multiple-choice and questionnaire, the data analysis techniques used were statistical parametric t-test with a significance level of 0.05. The results of the research show that (1) there is a difference in learning motivation of the students between learning model of blended learning and conventional learning of 5.782 and there is difference in the understanding level of the students of 9.935 and (2) there is an improvement in learning motivation of the students due to blended learning application with an average of 11.705 and there is an improvement in the understanding level of the student with an average of 30.288.

Abstract

Sistem pembelajaran di politeknik perlu menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan-kebutuhan terkini dalam menyiapkan lulusan untuk memiliki pekerjaan dengan keahlian terapan tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) Mendeskripsikan persepsi mahasiswa tentang sistem pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh dosen/instruktur di politeknik; dan (2) Memperoleh model pengukuran konstruk sistem pembelajaran pendidikan tinggi vokasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif non-eksperimen, menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat penumpul data. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa tingkat akhir Politeknik Negeri Bali tahun akademik 2009/2010. Ukuran sampel penelitian sebanyak 244. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah proportional random sampling. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis faktor konfirmatori. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Menurut persepsi mahasiswa, kemampuan dosen dan instruktur dalam mengelola program pembelajaran di politeknik secara umum termasuk dalam kategori baik; (2) Model pengukuran konstruk sistem pembelajaran pendidikan tinggi vokasi terdiri atas indikator-indikator: pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik, pembelajaran yang berpusat pada kerja, serta pembelajaran yang berfokus pada pengembangan atribut-atribut keterampilan peserta didik. Indikator-indikator ini dinyatakan valid dan reliabel dengan nilai koefisien struktural () bervariasi antara 0,78 hingga 0,81, serta nilai reliabilitas konstruk sebesar 0,85. THE CONSTRUCT DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING SYSTEM IN HIGHER VOCATIONAL EDUCATIONAbstractLearning system in polytechnic necessary to adapt the current needs in preparing graduates to have jobs with specific applied skills. The research purposes are: (1) describe students' perceptions about the learning system adopted by the lecturer/instructor at the polytechnic, and (2) Obtain a measurement model of learning system in the higher vocational education. The experiment was conducted by non-experimental quantitative approach, using questionnaires. The sample of study was last year students of Bali State Polytechnic in academic year 2009/2010. The sample size was 244, selected using proportional random sampling. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitative and confirmatory factor analysis. The research results showed: (1) According to the perceptions of students, the ability of lecturers and instructors to manage learning system in the polytechnics are generally good categorized, (2) the measurement model of learning system in the higher vocational education consists of: learning that learner-centered, learning work-centered, and learning that focuses on developing the attributes of skill. These indicators are valid and reliable with the structural coefficient () varies between 0.78 to 0.81, and construct reliability of 0.85.

Abstract

Guru sebagai aktor utama dalam proses pendidikan dituntut harus dengan cepat memperbaharui pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kompetensinya dalam bidang Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK), tak terkecuali guru produktif Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK), dalam realitas masih minimnya implementasi TIK dalam pembelajaran dan adanya kendala internal dan eksternal SMK dalam pelaksanaan program TIK. Berdasarkan hal-hal tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menginvestigasi penguasaan keterampilan TIK guru produktif SMK dan implementasi TIK dalam pembelajaran produktif SMK, serta mengidentifikasi kendala-kendala yang menjadi penghambat implementasi TIK dalam pembelajaran produktif SMK di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian ini sebagai berikut: 1) Keterampilan TIK guru produktif SMK secara keseluruhan termasuk dalam kategori rendah. 2) Implementasi TIK dalam pembelajaran produktif SMK secara keseluruhan termasuk dalam kategori menengah. 3) Kendala-kendala implementasi TIK dalam pembelajaran produktif SMK berkaitan dengan kebijakan pemerintah daerah, pendanaan program, pengembangan profesional di bidang TIK, ketersediaan sumber daya TIK, dan penggunaan TIK di sekolah. THE ICT SKILLS OF PRODUCTIVE TEACHERS IN VHS IN THE REGENCY OF HULU SUNGAI UTARA AND THE IMPLEMENTATION IN TEACHINGAbstractThe teachers as the main actors in the process of education is required to quickly renew their knowledge, skills and competence in the field of Information and Communicaton Technology (ICT), no exception vocational high schools (VHS) productive teachers', in reality the lack of implementation of ICT in learning, and the internal and external constraints in the implementation of ICT in VHS. Based on these things, this study was conducted to investigate the ICT skill mastery of productive teachers in VHS and the ICT implementation in the productive teaching in VHS, and to identify the constraints that inhibit theICT implementation in productive teaching in VHS in the Regency of HSU, the Province of South Kalimantan. The conclusions of the study are as follows. 1) The VHS productive teachers' ICT skills in general are in the low category. 2) The ICT implementation in productive teaching in VHS in general is in the moderate category. 3) The constraints in the ICT implementation in productive teaching in VHS are related to the local government's policies, program funding, professional development in ICT, availability of ICT resources, and ICT utilization in schools.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengembangkan produk portal e-learning menggunakan LMS Moodle dengan vicon, (2) mengetahui kelayakan portal e-learning, (3) mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran menggunakan portal e-learning, dan (4) mengetahui motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran menggunakan portal e-learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang diadaptasi dari model pengembangan dan desain multimedia yang dikembangkan oleh Alessi & Trollip. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X kompetensi keahlian Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bambanglipuro, teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak. Uji coba produk pengembangan meliputi tes alfa, tes beta, dan implementasi uji lapangan. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan: (1) produk portal e-learning yang dikembangkan menggunakan LMS Moodle terintegrasi dengan BigBlueButton, sehingga memungkinkan pengguna untuk melakukan video conference; (2) kelayakan portal e-learning menggunakan LMS Moodle dengan vicon di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bambanglipuro, validasi alfa dikategorikan baik, uji beta dikategorikan baik, validasi ahli materi dikategorikan baik; (3) hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran menggunakan portal e-learning, kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen sama; (4) motivasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran menggunakan portal e-learning, kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen sama. DEVELOPING AND IMPLEMENTING E-LEARNING USING MOODLE AND VICON FOR THE WEB PROGRAMMING SUBJECT AT SMKAbstractThe aims of this research were to: (1) develop e-learning portal using LMS moodle and vicon, (2) know the feasibility of the e-learning portal using LMS Moodle and vicon, (3) know the learning outcomes of students in learning using e -learning, and (4) know the motivation of learners in learning using e -learning. This research was development research that was adapted from Alessi & Trollip Development and Multimedia Design Model. The subjects of this research were students of class X SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bambanglipuro, with competency skills Soft Engineering. The sampling technique was random sampling. The developed product try-out included three stages, the alpha test, beta test, and implementation of field tests. The result of this research showed that: (1) e–learning product that was developed using Moodle integrated with BigBlueButton, allowed users to do video conferencing, (2) the feasibility of e-learning using moodle and the video conference at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bambanglipuro: for the mean score of validation was categorized good; the mean score of beta test was categorized good; and according to the expert the materia was categorised good. (3) The results of learners in learning using e -learning moodle, showed no difference betwen the conrtol class and the experimental class.. (4) The motivation of learners in learning using e-learning in the control class and that in experimental class were equal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap penanaman karakter kerja kelautan dan perikanan yang diterapkan di SMKN 1 Sanden, Bantul Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian meliputi warga sekolah, kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilaksanakan serta keadaan sekolah secara umum. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi, partisipan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi, ketekunan, dan diskusi dengan teman sejawat. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian ini diantaranya yaitu konsep yang dipakai adalah memperbaiki kebiasaan siswa yang kurang baik dan membiasakan yang baik dengan menanamkan karakter-karakter yang berhubungan dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja. Implementasinya dilakukan dengan cara inkulkasi, pembiasaan, keteladanan, dan fasilitasi. Wahana yang digunakan dalam penanaman karakter kerja tersebut yaitu kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, kokurikuler dan intrakurikuler. Hasil penanaman karakter kerja kelautan dan perikanan ini telah memenuhi target dalam kebutuhan dunia kerja walau belum 100%. INCULCATING THE CHARACTER OF THE WORK ON MARINE AND FISHERIES IN SMKN 1 SANDEN BANTUL YOGYAKARTA.AbstractThis study is aimed to reveal the inculcation of the character of the work on marine and fisheries in SMKN 1 Sanden, Bantul. This study used the qualitative research method. The subjects of this research included school community, the activities carried out and school condition. The data were collected through observation, participans, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data was done by triangulation, diligence and discussions with colleagues. The analysis of the data used the interactive analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The findings of this study include that the concept used is to improve students poor habits and establish related to the needs of thejob market. Its implementation is done by inculcation, habituation, exemplary, and facilitation. The activities used in the cultivation of the character include extracurricular, intracurricular and cocurricular activities.. The results of this work of the inculcating of character of marine and fisheries has met the target even although not 100%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap akuisisi kompetensi keahlian teknik instalasi tenaga listrik pada siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan untuk memperoleh kompetensi melalui kegiatan praktik kerja industri. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus. Informan pada penelitian ini adalah pembimbing industri, pembimbing siswa dari sekolah, dan siswa peserta praktik kerja industri. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi. Teknik analisis data dilaksanakan dengan model interaktif Miles & Huberman, meliputi pengumpulan data, data condensation, penyajian data, verifikasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) proses yang dilalui siswa dalam memperoleh kompetensi dapat dilihat dari tiga aspek, yaitu: aspek pengetahuan (mengamati, diskusi, dan mencoba), aspek keterampilan (siswa mengamati, pembimbing memberikan contoh, siswa mendiagnosis permasalahan, siswa mengerjakan, siswa bertanya, dan pembimbing mengecek hasil pekerjaan) dan aspek sikap (tuntutan, adopsi, dan terbiasa); dan (2) kompetensi yang diperoleh siswa dapat dilihat dari tiga aspek, yaitu: aspek pengetahuan (dunia kerja, bersosialisasi, melayani pelanggan, bekerja dalam tim, dan pengetahuan di bidang ketenagalistrikan), aspek keterampilan (bersosialisasi, melayani pelanggan, bekerja dalam tim, dan keterampilan dibidang keahlian ketenagalistrikan), dan aspek sikap (disiplin, bekerja keras, tanggung jawab, minat bekerja, dan minat berwirausaha). Kata kunci: akuisisi, kompetensi instalasi listrik, hasil belajar, praktik kerja industri THE ACQUISITION OF ELECTRIC POWER INSTALLATION COMPETENCIES OF VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS THROUGH INDUSTRIAL WORK PRACTICE Abstract This research aimed to reveal the acquisition electric power installation competencies of vocational high school students through industrial work practice. The research used the qualitative case study approach. The informants of this research were industrial mentors, school mentors, and students who participated in the industrial job practice. The data were collected through in-depth interviews and observation. The data analysis technique adopted the interactive analysis model of Miles & Huberman which included data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing and verifying conclusions. The result of this research showed that: (1) the process through which the students acquired competence could be seen from three aspects: aspect of knowledge (observing, discussing, and practicing); aspect of skills (students observed, supervisor gave examples, students diagnosed problems, students began working, students asked questions, and mentors checked the results of the work); and aspect of attitude (demand, adoption, and habit); and (2) the competence the students obtained could be seen from three aspects: aspects of knowledge (the world of work, socializing, serving customers, working in teams, and knowledge in the field of electric power), aspects of skills (socializing, serve customers, work in teams, and expertise in the field of electric power), and aspects of attitude (disciplined, hard-working, responsible, interested in working, and interested in entrepreneurship). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kinerja mengajar guru, pemanfaatan fasilitas belajar dan motivasi berprestasi baik secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap prestasi belajar teori kejuruan siswa SMK Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik di Kota Yogyakarta. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII kompetensi keahlian teknik instalasi tenaga listrik di SMK se-Kota Yogyakarta. Sampel sejumlah 170 siswa ditentukan menggunakan proportional random sampling technique dengan rumus Slovin. Intrumen yang digunakan adalah angket tertutup dan tes tentang teori kejuruan. Analisis data menggunakan teknik regresi linier sederhana dan regresi linier ganda dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kinerja mengajar guru terhadap prestasi belajar teori kejuruan dengan besarnya pengaruh adalah 32,8 %. (2) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pemanfaatan fasilitas belajar terhadap prestasi belajar teori kejuruan dengan besarnya pengaruh adalah 9 %. (3) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara motivasi berprestasi siswa terhadap prestasi belajar teori kejuruan dengan besarnya pengaruh adalah 14,1 %. (4) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kinerja mengajar guru, pemanfaatan fasilitas belajar dan motivasi berprestasi siswa secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar teori kejuruan dengan besarnya pengaruh secara simultan adalah 34,3 %, sedangkan 63,7 % dipengaruhi oleh faktor yang lain. THE FACTORS THAT EFFECT FOR STUDENTS ACHIEVEMENT OF VOCATIONAL THEORY IN VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL (SMK)AbstractThe purpose of this study was to examine the effect of teachers' teaching performance, utilization of the learning facilities, and achievement motivation either individually or simultaneously on the achievement of vocational theory of electrical power engineering of the students of vocational high schools in Yogyakarta City. The population in this study was students of class XII in electrical power engineering skill competency at vocational high schools in Yogyakarta City. A sample of 170 students was established using the proportional random sampling technique with Slovin formula. The instruments used were a closed questionnaire and test of the vocational theory. The data analysis used simple linear regression and multiple linear regression analyses with the significance level of 5%. The results are as follows. (1) There is a significant effect of teachers' teaching performance on their achievement in vocational theory with the magnitude of effect of 32.8 %. (2) There is a significant effect of the utilization of learning facilities on the students' achievement in vocational theory with the magnitude of effect of 9 %. (3) There is a significant effect of students' achievement motivation on their achievement in vocational theory, with the magnitude of effect of 14.1 %. (4) There is a significant effect of teachers' teaching performance, their utilization of learning facilities, and their achievement motivation on their achievement in vocational theory with the simultaneous magnitude of effect of 34.3 %, while 63.7 % is affected by other factors.
