Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan aspek yang sangat penting dalam pembangunan bangsa karena tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana transfer ilmu pengetahuan, tetapi juga sebagai media pembentukan karakter dan penanaman nilai-nilai moral. Pendidikan harus dilaksanakan secara proporsional dengan menyeimbangkan pengembangan intelektual dan pembinaan akhlak agar ilmu yang dimiliki peserta didik dapat bermanfaat bagi diri sendiri maupun masyarakat. Hal ini sejalan dengan pandangan Ki Hajar Dewantara yang menyatakan bahwa pendidikan dan pengajaran merupakan usaha kebudayaan serta perguruan merupakan tempat persemaian benih-benih kebudayaan suatu bangsa. Dalam praktiknya, penanaman budaya religius di sekolah telah mulai diterapkan melalui berbagai program yang mendukung terciptanya lingkungan pendidikan yang religius dan kondusif. Implementasi budaya religius tersebut diwujudkan melalui kegiatan-kegiatan bernuansa keagamaan yang selaras dengan visi dan misi sekolah sebagai upaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan yang unggul dan berkualitas. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan kepala sekolah dan wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan, pelaksanaan budaya religius memerlukan peran aktif kepala sekolah, guru, dan seluruh warga sekolah dalam mengelola kegiatan keagamaan serta membimbing peserta didik agar terbiasa menjalankan ibadah dan menerapkan nilai-nilai religius dalam kehidupan sehari-hari

Abstract

As of March 2020, Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) reached Indonesia. From that point on, life in Indonesia changed, and public activities were suspended to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The decision by the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) to shift learning from in-person to virtual settings required teachers and students to adapt. In other countries and certain regions of Indonesia, this virtual learning method is not unfamiliar. However, it is a novelty, particularly in rural villages. With the emergence of this new learning method, stakeholders did not merely offer advice or issue orders to the community. Instead, they are providing efforts and solutions to address the shortcomings and ensure the sustainability of distance learning. By applying Fazlur Rahman’s theory of multiculturalism, it is hoped that developments in the field of education—particularly during this pandemic—will become even more innovative and creative. Additionally, a sociological approach is needed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peranan pengelolaan hubungan masyarakat (Humas) terhadap jumlah siswa baru di Madrasah Aliyah Darul Aitam Jerowaru. Latar belakang penelitian berangkat dari tantangan sekolah swasta dalam mempertahankan keberadaan dan mutu pendidikan di tengah persaingan dengan sekolah negeri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, melibatkan delapan informan utama, termasuk kepala madrasah, waka humas, guru, komite, dan wali murid. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, serta studi dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi melalui triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Humas memiliki peran strategis sebagai tulang punggung madrasah dalam menjalin hubungan baik dengan masyarakat, pemerintah, lembaga pendidikan, dan media massa. Program kerja Humas yang meliputi kerjasama dengan komite, pemerintah desa hingga kabupaten, sekolah lain, perguruan tinggi, serta media massa terbukti mendukung peningkatan kepercayaan masyarakat dan jumlah siswa baru. Simpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa pengelolaan Humas yang optimal berkontribusi signifikan terhadap pengembangan mutu pendidikan dan keberlangsungan madrasah swasta.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru kelas dalam membentuk karakter disiplin siswa melalui pembiasaan harian di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Keruak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah guru kelas I sampai VI, kepala sekolah, dan siswa SDN 1 Keruak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data diuji menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana yang mencakup kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru kelas berperan sebagai teladan, motivator, fasilitator, dan evaluator dalam membentuk karakter disiplin siswa. Pembiasaan harian yang diterapkan meliputi kegiatan apel pagi, doa bersama, berbaris sebelum masuk kelas, piket kebersihan, dan shalat berjamaah. Faktor pendukung pembentukan karakter disiplin antara lain komitmen guru, dukungan kepala sekolah, dan kerjasama orang tua. Adapun hambatan yang ditemukan berupa kurangnya konsistensi pembiasaan di rumah serta pengaruh lingkungan pergaulan siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of implementing the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model combined with deep learning on student creativity through a literature review. The methodology employed is a literature review analyzing articles from national and international journals relevant to PjBL, deep learning, and student creativity. The findings indicate that PjBL fosters active, collaborative, and contextual learning experiences focused on problem-solving, thereby encouraging students to generate new ideas and creative works. Meanwhile, the integration of deep learning further strengthens this process by promoting meaningful conceptual understanding, reflective activities, and connections between knowledge and daily life. Overall, the implementation of PjBL integrated with deep learning positively influences student creativity, particularly regarding fluency of thought, flexibility, originality of ideas, idea development, and learning enthusiasm.

Abstract

Tahfiz Al-Qur'an learning at the elementary school level faces major challenges related to limited teacher-student ratios and the diversity of students' initial abilities. This study aims to deeply explore the implementation of assessment and follow-up strategies in tahfiz learning at Sekolah Dasar Negeri (SDN) 21 Pariaman City. Utilizing a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews with a single tahfiz teacher. The results indicate that despite limited time and teacher ratios, learning is implemented effectively by integrating sama'i, talaqqi, tikrar, and tasmi' methods combined with the utilization of Smart TV as an interactive medium. Assessments are conducted periodically, covering fluency (hifzhon), tajwid accuracy, and articulation eloquence (fashohah). Follow-up strategies for students who do not achieve mastery are implemented through a persuasive-humanistic approach, offering flexible extended timeframes to complete targets gradually and establishing active collaboration with parents for muraja'ah at home. The novelty of this research lies in the assessment synchronization model based on students' field abilities combined with interactive technology to overcome teacher limitations. This study concludes that an approach prioritizing children's psychological comfort over curriculum targets successfully maintains the quality standards of Juz 30 memorization while sustaining students' learning motivation. This model can serve as a tactical reference for other elementary education institutions facing similar constraints.

Abstract

Learning evaluation is an essential component in determining the success of the educational process, particularly in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). However, evaluation practices in many educational institutions remain predominantly focused on test-based assessments that emphasize cognitive achievement, thereby failing to comprehensively measure students' affective, spiritual, and psychomotor development. This condition reflects a gap between the ideal objectives of PAI, which prioritize character building and moral development, and the reality of assessment practices that largely concentrate on academic performance. This study aims to analyze how the development of test and non-test assessment techniques can contribute to establishing a more humanistic and adaptive evaluation system in Islamic Religious Education. The study employs a qualitative approach*using the library research method by examining relevant books, national and international scholarly articles, and educational policy documents. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, interpretation, and descriptive-analytical conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that integrating test and non-test assessment techniques creates a more comprehensive, objective, authentic, and student-centered evaluation system. While test techniques effectively measure cognitive achievement, non-test techniques—including observation, portfolios, self-assessment, peer assessment, reflective journals, and interviews—provide a deeper evaluation of students' character, religious attitudes, and worship practices. A humanistic evaluation approach offers constructive feedback, appreciates individual differences, and promotes meaningful, inclusive learning experiences. Therefore, integrating test and non-test assessment techniques represents an effective strategy for developing an adaptive evaluation system that supports the holistic goals of Islamic education and aligns with contemporary educational demands. These findings are consistent with recent studies highlighting the importance of authentic assessment in integrating cognitive, affective, and psychomotor competencies within PAI learning.
