The research was conducted using the Research and Development approach developed by Borg and Gall. The subjects in this study were two Guidance and Counseling lecturers as material expert tests, two Education Technology study program lecturers as media experts, and two school counselors as potential users. The results of the validation data for material experts, media experts, and potential users were analyzed using an inter-rater agreement. Based on the results of validation data analysis, this guide obtains a rater agreement index of 1.00 from each validation of material experts, media experts, and potential users. The results of the guide validation analysis entered the very high rater agreement category. It can be concluded that the development of individual cognitive behaviour counseling guidelines for cognitive restructuring techniques to increase student self-acceptance has fulfilled the product acceptance criteria, which include four aspects, namely aspects of usability, accuracy, convenience, and attractiveness, and this guide is very feasible to use.

Abstract

Each country and even the region has its own policies in the implementation of education, starting from primary education to higher education. Each individual also has a different learning experience, even though they pursue the same education. In this article, two former students of a person-centred experiential counselling and psychotherapy course in the UK reflect on their personal experiences in education in Germany and Indonesia, as well as how their previous experiences varied from the experiential education. Common themes in both accounts of traditional education were a pressure to be the best, a loss of interest in the studies due to the pressure, a wish to be invisible as a student, and a learned low failure tolerance. The person-centred experiential learning experience is in both accounts described as liberating and encouraging independent learning. The authors argue that freedom and autonomy are important in an educational setting especially in the industrial era 4.0. Currently, the extent of freedom in education or independent learning is greatly influenced by the policies that exist in each country

Abstract

Santri is required to be able to make social adjustments because they are in the same environment. Social problems will arise when students cannot adjust to the dormitory environment, resulting in non-achievement of social responsibility development tasks and disrupting students' academic activities. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of systematic desensitization techniques in reducing students' social anxiety disorder. The research method used was a single-subject study with the A-B-A1-B1 reversal design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with the criteria of male and female students of class XI MAN, who had never participated in systematic desensitization therapy and were willing to participate in the entire series of counseling. The intervention used is a systematic desensitization technique. The data collection instrument used measuring social anxiety disorder and direct observation. Data analysis was performed by visually analyzing the data under and between conditions. The direction of the trend is analyzed using the split-middle method to obtain a more certain data measure by calculating the median value of each condition. The results of this study indicate that the systematic desensitization technique effectively reduces students' social anxiety disorder.

Abstract

Pre-marital guidance in the Bride and Groom Course is considered not effective in preparing prospective brides, as evidenced by the high number of divorce cases. An innovative breakthrough is needed in helping the prospective bride and groom to be ready and mature to build a household. This study aims to produce a model of pre-marital guidance based on cyber education. The research design adapts the procedural model including determining the problem, planning, designing a product prototype, testing and revising the product. The research subjects were 280 students from universities in the Java region. The test subjects consisted of 2 material experts and 1 learning resource developer expert. The instrument is in the form of a questionnaire for pre-marital guidance material needs as well as a product assessment format. The development of producing pre-marital guidance model products, manifested in the form of Handbooks, Material Books and multimedia, is used for online pre-marital guidance services, through the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) platform. The material expert's assessment resulted in an index of 0.9 in the manual and 1.0 in the material book. Meanwhile, product evaluation by expert learning resource developers averaged 3.8 in the manual format and 3.85 in the pre-marital guidance multimedia. The Cyber Education-based Pre-Marriage Guidance Model fulfills a very high level of acceptance. The pre-marital guidance model is theoretically acceptable through expert testing, so that it can be used in online pre-marital guidance services in tertiary institutions.
