Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the improvement of information technology literacy among visually impaired individuals through the implementation of digital content at PPSDSN Pendowo Kudus. The research employed a quantitative approach using a one-group pretest and posttest pre-experimental design, supported by qualitative data. The participants consisted of 10 visually impaired individuals selected through total sampling. The intervention included theoretical instruction on content creation and guided practical sessions in digital content production using audio equipment and digital applications. Data were collected through an information technology literacy questionnaire administered before and after the intervention, as well as semi-structured interviews to obtain supporting qualitative insights. Descriptive analysis showed an increase in the average literacy score from 2.6 to 4.05. The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test indicated that the difference was statistically significant (p < 0.05). Qualitative findings revealed that the improvement occurred not only in technical skills but also in procedural understanding and confidence in using digital technologies. The findings suggest that digital content implementation designed with attention to accessibility and user experience can serve as an effective strategy to enhance information technology literacy among visually impaired individuals.

Abstract

This study addresses the challenge of stagnant project acquisition faced by consulting service companies due to limited digital promotion. The purpose of this research is to design and implement a website optimized with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to enhance the reach and competitive edge of CV Jaya Karya Konsultan. Employing a quantitative Research and Development (R&D) approach using the Rational Unified Process (RUP), the study involved developing key features including a company profile, project portfolio, client testimonials, educational blog, and chat box. The population comprised IT experts, internal company staff, and users, with purposive sampling yielding 33 respondents. Data were collected using observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires, and analyzed through descriptive statistics and thematic analysis. Research findings show the On-Page SEO strategy effectively improved website ranking, while technical and user experience results reached a usability rating of 91.43% ("very feasible"). In conclusion, developing a web-based information system using RUP and SEO strategies not only fulfills practical promotional needs but also offers a replicable model for service-sector digital transformation.

Abstract

The increasing volume of waste in coastal areas, particularly in the Anambas region, poses a serious threat to marine ecosystems and public health. This study aims to develop an educational game themed on coastal cleanliness for elementary school students, utilizing the Fisher-Yates Shuffle algorithm and the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) method. The research employs a descriptive-qualitative approach with software engineering, involving 20 participants (5 teachers and 15 students) from SDN 001 Payalaman as the sample. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and Likert-scale questionnaires, and analyzed using qualitative-descriptive techniques with triangulation. The results show that the game is well-received, increases student engagement, and enhances understanding of environmental issues. The findings indicate that the game effectively delivers interactive educational content and motivates students to care for the coastal environment. In conclusion, the game is suitable as a thematic learning medium in coastal schools, though future research should expand the sample and explore additional features for broader impact.

Abstract

Waransansart Lammai School, an Islamic school in Yala, Thailand, faces challenges in implementing Smart School due to manual administration and limited teacher digital literacy. This research aims to analyze existing conditions, design a web-based School Management Information System (SIMS) with CRM integration, measure digitalization impact over 30 days KKN, and develop system concepts. Using qualitative descriptive approach with quantitative measurements, the population comprises school principal, teachers, and staff, selected via purposive sampling. Instruments include observation guidelines, semi-structured interviews, and documentation sheets, analyzed through Miles & Huberman's model and descriptive statistics. Results show 58.31% time efficiency improvement (from 49.97 to 20.83 minutes daily) and error rate reduction to 3.75%. CRM implementation enhances operational, analytical, and collaborative processes. The study concludes that SIMS with CRM significantly boosts administrative efficiency and stakeholder communication in Smart School framework.

Abstract

This study explores the significance of Blockchain technology in bolstering the security of Internet of Things (IoT) systems, particularly concerning authentication and data integrity mechanisms. Utilizing a systematic literature review (SLR) approach, the research involves formulating research questions, performing extensive literature searches, setting inclusion and exclusion criteria, selecting pertinent studies, and processing and analyzing the data to draw conclusions. The findings indicate that Blockchain considerably enhances IoT security by offering robust authentication techniques that ensure only authorized devices gain network access, in addition to improving data integrity through unalterable transaction records. Furthermore, the decentralized nature of Blockchain reduces single points of failure and increases system resilience against cyberattacks. These results highlight Blockchain's potential to address security weaknesses within IoT frameworks. In summary, this research emphasizes the critical role of Blockchain in securing IoT ecosystems and building trust among users and stakeholders. Future investigations should aim to tackle scalability and interoperability issues, as well as evaluate real-world implementations, to maximize the effectiveness of Blockchain in IoT security.

Abstract

Conventional student performance evaluation at Songsermsasana School, Hat Yai, Thailand, relies on subjective academic scores, lacking systematic integration of multidimensional indicators. This study aims to analyze Naive Bayes classifier application for objective outstanding student determination using secondary performance data. Employing quantitative non-experimental design, the research utilized 100 purposively selected student records covering academic grades (0-100), attendance (0-100%), attitude (1-3 scale), extracurricular participation (0-1), and achievements (0-1). Data preprocessing involved numerical encoding followed by Naive Bayes probabilistic classification based on Bayes' Theorem, evaluated through confusion matrix metrics. Results demonstrate 90% accuracy and 100% recall, successfully identifying all outstanding students without false negatives despite three false positives. The model confirms Naive Bayes effectiveness for transparent, data-driven decision-making in educational assessment. Findings support implementation as school decision support systems while recommending hybrid algorithms for future enhancements.
