Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is concern in publishing the original research articles, review articles from the contributors and the current issues related to multidisipline of education. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan focuses on the following topics: Curriculum development, teacher education and professional development, teacher training, cross-cultural studies, learning, evaluation, English language teaching, counseling, management, quality of education, and the use of communication and information technology, at various levels of education and how to deliver learning. It provides an academic platform for teachers, lecturers, and researchers to contribute innovative work in the field. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is first published in March 2017 and covers much research in all levels of education (primary, secondary, and higher education). Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan become a CrossRef Member since the year 2019. Therefore, all articles published will have a unique DOI number. Beginning from Vol. 1 No. 1 (2017), all articles will be published in the English version and Indonesia version. The publication frequency is twice a year in March and October. Abstract

ICT-Based Principal Monitoring and Evaluation (MOME’ATIK) is an innovative approach that aims to improve the effectiveness of educational planning at SDN No. 11 Kota Barat. Through the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), this program is designed to optimize the collection, analysis, and use of data in the decision-making process at the school level. In the digital era, the use of accurate and relevant data is very important for formulating appropriate policies. MOME’ATIK allows principals to monitor student academic development, teacher performance, and the effectiveness of learning programs in real-time. With this system, the data collected can be used to identify strengths and weaknesses in the implementation of educational programs, so that data-based planning can be carried out better. The results of the implementation of MOME’ATIK at SDN No. 11 showed an increase in teacher and student participation, as well as improvements in student learning outcomes. With integrated data-based reports, principals can take more appropriate and targeted strategic steps. This program not only supports improving the quality of education, but also encourages a culture of transparency and accountability in school management. Overall, MOME’ATIK has the potential to be a model that can be adopted by other schools to optimize data-based educational planning, with the hope of improving the quality of learning at the elementary level.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the understanding of students of the State Islamic University (UIN) of North Sumatra towards the Theory of Attribution Communication and its implications for academic motivation and social interaction. Attribution Communication Theory is a theory that explains how individuals understand and interpret the causes of behavior, both from themselves and others. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, where data is obtained through in-depth interviews with UIN North Sumatra students. The results of the study show that students generally understand the difference between internal attribution (personal factors) and external (external factors). Internal attribution is often used to describe academic success, which is associated with higher motivation to learn. In contrast, external attribution is more used to explain failures, which tend to lower motivation. In addition, the religiosity factor plays a significant role in the attribution process, where students often associate academic outcomes with God's will. This study emphasizes the importance of understanding attribution in shaping students' motivation and social interaction, and recommends increasing awareness of the role of attribution in learning and group dynamics in the educational environment

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of the principle of Qaulan Karima Pembina as a strategy in improving the speaking ethics of adolescents in Al-Falah Mosque. The research method used is a qualitative approach. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews with youth members of the al-Falah mosque, and document analysis. The results of the study show that the implementation of the Qaulan Karimah Pembina instructor at the Al-Falah Mosque has been quite effective and has also made a significant contribution in forming positive character and increasing the morality of adolescents. The coaching is carried out through a series of implementations based on previous research references that also support the formation of adolescent speaking ethics. The implications of this study are the importance of the active role of mosques in the moral and spiritual development of the younger generation, as well as the need for support from various parties to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of the coaching program.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala madrasah, iklim madrasah dan literasi sains terhadap kreativitas guru di Madrasah aliyah Kota Samarinda. Peran kreativitas guru dalam proses pembelajaran merupakan kunci utama keberhasilan yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai aspek, termasuk dukungan kepemimpinan kepala madrasah, iklim madrasah, dan literasi sains yang baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada guru di Madrasah Aliyah Kota Samarinda. Variabel yang diteliti meliputi kepemimpinan yang dilakukan oleh kepala madrasah, keadaan iklim madrasah, serta literasi sains dalam pembelajaran terhadap kreativitas guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala madrasah memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap kreativitas guru, mendukung untuk mengeksplorasi ide-ide baru dan mengembangkan kreativitas bagi guru. Selain itu, iklim madrasah dapat menjadikan guru yang lebih kreatif dalam proses pembelajaran. Literasi sains dapat mendukung kreativitas guru dalam merancang dan menyampaikan materi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pengetahuan ilmiah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa ketiga faktor tersebut saling berinteraksi dan berperan penting dalam kreativitas guru di Madrasah Aliyah Kota Samarinda. Oleh karena itu, dukungan kepemimpinan kepala madrasah, keadaan iklim madrasah, serta pengembangan literasi sains yang positif perlu menjadi fokus utama dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas kreativitas guru pada pendidikan di tingkat Madrasah Aliyah

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Group Guidance Services with Role Playing Techniques to Improve the Ability to Manage Emotions in Al-Washliyah 12 Perbaungan High School Students. The model in this study uses a quantitative method, an experimental model of quantitative research can be interpreted as a research method based on the philosophy of positivism, used to research a certain population or sample, data collection using research instruments, data analysis is quantitative/statistical with the aim of testing the hypothesis that has been set. Based on the output of "Test Statistics" above, it can be seen that Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) is worth 0.043. Because the value of 0.043 ˂ 0.05, it is concluded that H1 is accepted. Which is an increase in the control of angry emotions of Al-Washliyah 12 Perbaungan High School students after being given role playing group counseling. So it can be said that the influence of group guidance services with role playing techniques can improve the ability to manage emotions in Al-Washliyah 12 Perbaungan High School students.

Abstract

Policy was created to replace industry. This technology concept aims so that human life is not eroded by technology and can solve some problems that occur today, especially in the field of education. This study aims to analyze the implementation of societyon teacher development policies in Indonesia and this research uses library research methods . Some of the problems that occur today are lack of teacher development and lack of teacher knowledge on the use of learning media technology. The policies prepared by the government to overcome these problems already exist, but in terms of implementation there are still shortcomings especially technological developments are now increasingly rapid, therefore the need for adjustments between society to teacher development policies and the use of learning media today.

Abstract

Education plays a pivotal role in shaping the character, intelligence, and skills of the nation’s youth, aligning with the goals of Indonesia's National Education System. This study explores the managerial competence of the head of Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Ma’arifiyah in Pelalawan Regency, focusing on the planning, organizing, implementation, and control of Islamic Education (PAI). Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Results reveal the headmaster’s critical role in enhancing PAI through effective resource management, discipline enforcement, and stakeholder engagement. Challenges include adapting to pesantren-specific needs and societal demands while integrating modern pedagogical methods. The study highlights strategies for improving teacher professionalism through training, infrastructure upgrades, and a curriculum aligned with workforce demands. The headmaster’s leadership fosters a balance of formal and non-formal education, creating a conducive learning environment. This research emphasizes the importance of managerial competence in achieving the madrasah’s vision of producing ethical, competent, and innovative graduates.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the understanding of the role of principal leadership in improving the quality of curriculum-based education. The design that will be used in this study is qualitative research. This qualitative description method is a research method that describes, describes, and analyzes objects from a particular situation from all data obtained during field activities. Document interviews and observations are the techniques used in this study. In this study, it reviews the role of principal leadership in improving the quality of education in schools based on the independent curriculum at SMP IT An-Nahl. The application of this design is achieved by collecting data, processing data, and then presenting data with useful information that is easy for readers to understand. In this study using a case study approach, the case is the role of principal leadership in improving the quality of education in schools based on the independent curriculum at SMP IT An-Nahl. In the process of determining this informant, the researcher prefers people who really understand and understand the problem being studied, namely by using purposive sampling naturalistic orientation.

Abstract

Extracurricular management has an important role in supporting the development of students' character, skills, and achievements outside of formal learning. This study aims to identify effective strategies in extracurricular management through careful planning, structured implementation, and continuous supervision and evaluation. The proposed strategy includes the provision of adequate facilities and infrastructure, efficient management of funds, and flexible scheduling so as not to interfere with academic activities. Solutions to overcome challenges in the implementation of extracurricular activities include collaboration with external parties and increasing the competence of coaches. The results of the study show that effective management is able to improve student discipline, cooperation, and independence, as well as strengthen social and emotional skills. Thus, extracurricular activities make a significant contribution in preparing students to face future challenges.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Bugis women in the pre-Islamic era as strengtheners of local wisdom culture in South Sulawesi. Bugis women not only function as family members, but also as the main movers in various aspects of religion and culture. As the main madrasah for their children, through their expertise in oral traditions and cultural customs that they uphold, women play an important role in preserving and transmitting cultural values ​​to the next generation. In addition, they are active in managing natural resources, organizing social life, and involving themselves in traditional ceremonies that are markers of community identity. Thus, Bugis women make a significant contribution to maintaining and strengthening local wisdom, which is the foundation for the life of the Bugis community. This study uses qualitative methods with analysis of historical documents, interviews, and direct observation. The results of the study show that Bugis women have a significant contribution to strengthening cultural identity, both through ritual practice and in managing natural resources. Therefore, this article highlights the importance of the role of women in building and maintaining local wisdom that is characteristic of the Bugis community.
