Abstract

This research is a development research that generally aims to describe the development of an exposition writing learning model based on guided group investigation for grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Karunrung, Bajeng Barat District, Gowa Regency. The development method used follows the Four-D development design and the research design used is one group pretest-posttest. The collected data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results of the study showed (1) Producing a valid guided group investigation-based exposition writing learning model for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Karunrung, Gowa Regency with the steps as described in the design of the learning model that has been developed and also described in the RPP. (2) the implementation of the guided group investigation-based exposition writing learning form, especially the implementation of the RPP, was carried out well, namely in trial I it obtained an average score of 3.54, in trial II the average was 3.75, (3) student activities were carried out well, namely in trial I it obtained an average score of 3.59, in trial II, the average was 4.0, (4) the exposition writing learning outcome test was carried out well, namely in trial I, namely: in the pretest it produced 0.55 (unsuccessful), while in the posttest it increased to 0.86 (successful). Trial II, the pretest conducted resulted in 0.60 (unsuccessful), while in the posttest it increased to 0.88 (successful), (5) student responses to the developed learning model were carried out well, namely in trial I, responding happily, which was 78.78, in trial II, it increased to 97.56, and (6) obstacles encountered in both trials I and II, namely the class was less conducive, especially when forming groups, as well as when students conducted investigations. However, these obstacles can be handled well, so that the learning process continues as expected. From the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the developed learning model can improve learning outcomes in writing expositions, which also means that this learning model is very effective for use in learning to write expositions in junior high schools.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the integration of traditional games into teacher training programs as a strategy to enhance school readiness and holistic child development in Pinrang Regency, focusing on early-grade primary school teachers and kindergarten teachers. The research employed a mixed-methods design with a quasi-experimental approach, involving teachers, children, and parents from rural and urban areas. Teacher training sessions introduced culturally responsive, play-based strategies by integrating relevant traditional games. Children's developmental domains, including cognitive, motor, social-emotional, and linguistic, were assessed before and after the intervention. The results revealed significant improvements across all measured domains. Children exhibited better problem-solving abilities, enhanced cooperation, improved language skills, and better motor coordination. Teachers gained confidence in implementing intentional play-based teaching methods, while parents became more engaged in their children's educational experiences. Contextual differences between rural and urban areas underscored the adaptability of this approach to diverse environments. Cultural responsiveness emerged as a critical factor in fostering inclusivity and meaningful learning engagement. This study demonstrates that integrating traditional games into teacher training can positively impact school readiness. Culturally responsive, play-based methodologies enrich educational experiences and serve as a guide for future research, policy development, and educational practice.

Abstract

Education plays a pivotal role in shaping the character, intelligence, and skills of the nation’s youth, aligning with the goals of Indonesia's National Education System. This study explores the managerial competence of the head of Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Ma’arifiyah in Pelalawan Regency, focusing on the planning, organizing, implementation, and control of Islamic Education (PAI). Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Results reveal the headmaster’s critical role in enhancing PAI through effective resource management, discipline enforcement, and stakeholder engagement. Challenges include adapting to pesantren-specific needs and societal demands while integrating modern pedagogical methods. The study highlights strategies for improving teacher professionalism through training, infrastructure upgrades, and a curriculum aligned with workforce demands. The headmaster’s leadership fosters a balance of formal and non-formal education, creating a conducive learning environment. This research emphasizes the importance of managerial competence in achieving the madrasah’s vision of producing ethical, competent, and innovative graduates.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the communication strategy of the mosque takmir in prospering the Burhanuddin Mosque on Jalan Purnawirawan Medan Estate. By using qualitative research methods, the methods used are qualitative descriptive, technical through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that efforts to develop religious activities in mosques are greatly influenced by the active role of takmir in increasing religious activities, especially through the routine recitation of mothers. Support from mosque administrators, the community, and youth also plays an important role in advancing the mosque. Good coordination, cooperation, and communication between administrators are the key to success in prospering the mosque. This research provides important insights for mosque managers in improving religious activities and enriching the worship experience of worshippers.

Abstract

The Independent Learning Curriculum aims to improve the quality of education and produce graduates who are qualified, innovative, and able to compete globally. Guidance and counseling services can be used as a means to achieve the educational goals of the Independent Learning Curriculum. The role of guidance and counseling teachers in developing good character dimensions in the concept of the independent curriculum is something new. This research aims to examine the role of guidance and counseling teachers in shaping student character through the Independent Learning Curriculum at SMA N 2 Tebing Tinggi. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews and observations. The results of the study show that Guidance and Counseling (BK) Teachers at SMA Negeri 2 Tebing Tinggi play a crucial role in shaping student character in accordance with the principles of the Independent Learning Curriculum. This role includes the preparation of programs that not only focus on academic achievement, but also on developing student character such as responsibility, honesty, and independence. The guidance and counseling teacher at SMA Negeri 2 Tebing Tinggi applies various innovative and adaptive strategies in forming student character in accordance with the principles of the Independent Learning Curriculum.

Abstract

Motivasi guru merupakan hal yang penting bagi peningkatan kualitas pendidikan karena mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi guru, salah satunya kepemimpinan transformasional. Kajian komprehensif mengenai pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap motivasi guru dilakukan di berbagai negara, termasuk Indonesia. Penelitian, terutama literature review mengenai pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap motivasi guru masih sangat terbatas. Sehingga artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap motivasi guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literature review. Artikel yang diulas diperoleh dari Google Scholar dengan kata kunci “The Influence of Principal’s Transformational Leadership on Teacher Motivation”. Terdapat 20 artikel yang sesuai dengan kriteria untuk dilakukan ulasan lebih lanjut. Temuan dari literature review mengungkapkan bahwa sebagian besar artikel (17 artikel) menyatakan kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan sebagian besar dikatakan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi guru di berbagai negara, sedangkan 3 artikel lainnya menyatakan kepemimpinan transformasional tidak berpengaruh terhadap motivasi guru.

Abstract

Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) memiliki peran strategis dalam membangun fondasi pendidikan dan karakter anak. Namun, meningkatnya persaingan antar lembaga PAUD serta tuntutan kualitas layanan yang lebih baik menjadi tantangan tersendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan merumuskan strategi manajemen serta kewirausahaan yang efektif dalam meningkatkan daya saing lembaga PAUD. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi kasus di BA Banyuaeng. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi antara manajemen yang terstruktur dan penerapan strategi kewirausahaan, seperti diversifikasi layanan, pengelolaan sumber daya berbasis inovasi, serta penguatan branding lembaga, dapat meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan keberlanjutan operasional lembaga PAUD BA Banyuaeng. Selain itu, kolaborasi dengan komunitas, pemanfaatan teknologi digital, dan pengembangan program berbasis kebutuhan masyarakat menjadi faktor pendukung yang signifikan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya pelatihan manajemen bagi pengelola PAUD BA Banyuaeng serta penguatan jiwa kewirausahaan sebagai bagian dari upaya strategis untuk menghadapi persaingan. Dengan strategi yang tepat, lembaga PAUD BA Banyuaeng dapat meningkatkan daya saingnya dalam kualitas layanan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh keterampilan konseptual, hubungan interpersonal dan tantangan lingkungan terhadap perilaku kepemimpinan kepala Madrasah Aliyah Di Desa Bunut Baok Tahun 2024 baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik sampling non probability sampling atau sampel total dengan jumlah sampel 59 orang. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t dan uji F menggunakan SPSS Statistics versi 30.0.0.0 2024. Hasil analisis menunjukkan secara parsial pengaruh keterampilan konseptual (X1) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku kepemimpinan (Y), hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan nilai thitung lebih besar dari ttabel sebesar 5,175 > 2,000995, dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,001 < 0,05. Hubungan interpersonal (X2) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku kepemimpinan (Y), hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan nilai thitung lebih kecil dari ttabel sebesar -0,921 < 2,000995 dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,361 > 0,05. Tantangan lingkungan (X3) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku kepemimpinan (Y), hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan nilai thitung lebih besar dari ttabel sebesar 2,023 > 2,000995 dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,048 < 0,05. Secara simultan bahwa nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,927. Hasil tersebut menjelaskan besarnya kontribusi dari variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen (Y) yang disertakan dalam persamaan regresi terhadap variabel perilaku kepemimpinan (Y) adalah sebesar 92,7% sedangkan 7,3% lainnya disumbangkan oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan kedalam penelitian ini. Implikasi teoritik dalam penelitian ini menguatkan konsep bahwa kepemimpinan di lingkungan pendidikan memerlukan keseimbangan antara kerampilan konseptual konseptual, hubungan interpersonal interpersonal, dan respons terhadap tantangan lingkungan untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada atau tidaknya pengaruh penilaian kinerja, iklim organisasi, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap mutu pendidikan pada Madrasah Aliyah Swasta di Desa Kekait Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga variabel bebas yaitu Penilaian Kinerja (X1), Iklim Organisasi (X2), sebagai vaiabel terikatnya (Y) Mutu Pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Kuantitatif. Popolasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 45 orang yang terdiri dari Guru, Kepala Sekolah dan Staf, adapun sampel yang diambil keseluruhan dari populasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sample jenuh. Penggumpulan data menggunakan intrumen yang sudah diuji validitas dan realibilitasnya. Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian diuji menggunakan uji prasyarat, yaitu normalitas, linieritas dan multikolonieritas. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji T dan uji F, yang dianalisis menggunakan SPPS 16.0. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial Penilaian Kinerja memiliki pengaruh terhadap Mutu Pendidikan, Iklim Organisasi memiliki pengaruh terhadap Mutu Pendidikan. Sedangkan secara simultan Penilaian Kinerja, Iklim Organisasi, dan Lingkungan Kerja memiliki pengaruh terhadap Mutu Pendidikan

Abstract

Komunikasi merupakan kebutuhan dasar dan ciri eksistensi kehidupan manusia. Tanpa komunikasi, manusia akan sulit mengungkapkan apa yang dia rasakan. Komunikasi terjadi dimana pun dan kapanpun, dengan lingkungan terdekat hingga lintas agama. Saat ini gerakan toleransi antar agama banyak diserukan di Indonesia. Mengingat bahwasannya toleransi menjadi salah satu bentuk menghargai dan tidak memaksakan kehendak kepada orang lain. Saat ini masih terdengar kasus penghinaan terhadap agama lain dari cara beribadah hingga waktu beribadah yang hampir bersamaan memicu terjadinya konflik. Hal ini terjadi karena masih banyak ditemui orang yang terlalu fanatic dengan agamanya, selalu menganggap agamanya paling benar hingga melukapan fakta bahwa Indonesia merupakan neraga dengan multiagama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan larangan ujaran kebencian dalam etika berkomunikasi dengan agama lain sehingga terciptalah keharmonisan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis qualitative research. Sumber data primer yakni Al-Quran surat Al-An’am ayat 108, sementara data sekundernya berasal dari berbagai sumber seperti buku, jurnal dan artikel yang relevan dengan topik toleransi, komunikasi, dan tafsir terkait ayat yang tersebut. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah QS. al-An’am (6): 108 memberikan nasihat kepada umat islam agar tidak menghina tuhan dan ajaran agama lain dengan mengatakan ujaran kebencian meskipun sedang emosi atau merasa terganggu. Sebaliknya umat islam harus berkomunikasi dengan cara yang sopan dan lemah lembut agar muncul simpati dari agama lain sehingga terjalin hubungan yang baik
