Abstract

This study aims to analyze the synergy between management and Islamic educational administration in improving the effectiveness of kitab kuning instruction at Pondok Pesantren Darussalim Bati-Bati. The research is grounded in the growing need for pesantren to balance classical Islamic scholarly traditions with modern managerial systems in order to respond effectively to contemporary educational challenges. Employing a qualitative case study design, the study involved four groups of informants: pesantren leaders, administrative staff, kitab kuning teachers, and students, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, and were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The findings indicate that synergy between management and administration is established through intensive communication, routine evaluation, and scheduled coordination, resulting in a cooperative and responsive institutional work structure. The administrative unit plays a crucial role in providing learning facilities, arranging schedules, preparing academic documentation, and bridging managerial policies with instructional implementation, thereby ensuring that kitab kuning learning runs in a more orderly, efficient, and directed manner. Challenges were identified in limited human resources and administrative technology, however capacity-building efforts through training and improved archiving systems positively contributed to governance quality. The study recommends strengthening managerial training, gradual digitalization of administrative processes, and reinforcing cross-unit coordination as strategic steps for pesantren development. This research contributes to enriching the literature on the integration of management and Islamic educational administration.

Abstract

This study aims to develop e-comic–based instructional media and to examine its feasibility as a supporting medium for Economics learning at SMA Muhammadiyah Pangsid. The background of this research is based on the limitations of existing instructional media, which are still predominantly characterized by lecture-based methods and the use of textbooks, resulting in low student interest and engagement in the learning process. E-comic media was selected due to its advantages in integrating visual and narrative elements that can enhance students’ learning motivation and contextual understanding of economic concepts. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method by adapting the Borg and Gall model, which was simplified into seven stages: data collection, planning, initial product development, expert validation, product revision, limited field testing, and final product refinement. The research subjects consisted of tenth-grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah Pangsid. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and evaluation questionnaires administered to media experts, subject-matter experts, and students. The collected data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results indicate that the developed e-comic–based instructional media meets the criteria of being highly feasible for use in Economics learning. Evaluations from media experts and material experts showed very high levels of feasibility, while the results of student trials revealed positive responses regarding visual appearance, ease of use, and clarity of the presented material. The e-comic media was found to increase students’ learning interest and to assist them in understanding Economics material more effectively. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that e-comic–based instructional media is suitable for use as an alternative learning medium for Economics at SMA Muhammadiyah Pangsid and has strong potential to support more interactive, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of students’ participation in school cooperatives and learning outcomes in entrepreneurship-based economics on students’ entrepreneurial interest at SMAN 1 Sidrap. The research is grounded in the theory that entrepreneurial interest can be developed through experiential learning and active involvement in economic activities within the school environment. A quantitative approach with an explanatory research design was employed to examine the relationships among variables. The population of this study consisted of all students in grade XI at SMAN 1 Sidrap, from which a sample was selected using proportional random sampling techniques. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and documentation of students’ learning outcomes, all of which had previously met validity and reliability requirements. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine both partial and simultaneous effects of the independent variables on entrepreneurial interest. The findings reveal that students’ participation in school cooperatives has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest. Active involvement in cooperative activities provides students with practical experiences such as basic management, financial recording, customer service, and decision-making, which contribute to the development of entrepreneurial attitudes. In addition, learning outcomes in entrepreneurship-based economics also show a positive and significant influence on students’ entrepreneurial interest. Students who achieve higher learning outcomes tend to demonstrate stronger motivation, confidence, and readiness to engage in entrepreneurial activities. Furthermore, the simultaneous analysis indicates that students’ participation in school cooperatives and learning outcomes in entrepreneurship-based economics collectively contribute significantly to entrepreneurial interest. These results emphasize the strategic role of schools in fostering entrepreneurial interest through both academic learning and non-academic activities. Strengthening the management and attractiveness of school cooperatives, along with improving the quality of entrepreneurship-oriented economics instruction, can effectively support the development of students’ entrepreneurial potential. This study is expected to provide practical implications for educators, schools, and policymakers in designing learning environments that encourage entrepreneurship among senior high school students.

Abstract

This study investigates the presence of fabricated (maudu‘) hadiths within selected classical tafsir works. Utilizing a descriptive-analytical method and a library research approach, the analysis focuses on two main cases: (1) the narration concerning the virtues of Qur’anic surahs in al-Kasyf wa al-Bayan by as-Sa‘labi and (2) the narration about the movement of Iblis in al-Jami‘ li Ahkam al-Qur’an by al-Qurtubi. The findings demonstrate that both narrations fall into the category of fabricated or extremely weak traditions in terms of their chains of transmission (sanad) and textual content (matan), yet they were still cited by classical exegetes without adequate critical evaluation. Contributing factors include the tendency to compile all available narrations without rigorous scrutiny, limited access to authoritative sources during the period of tafsir compilation, and a cautious attitude toward criticizing potentially sensitive narrations. The study concludes that fabricated hadiths, as a form of ad-dakhil in the bi al-ma’sur exegetical tradition, can obscure the accurate understanding of Qur’anic verses.
