Abstract

This study was aimed at finding out how the relation between understanding of Indonesian national movement history and state nurture attitudes of students of State Senior High School of Gorontalo Municipality. The research hypothesis stated that there was a meaningful relation between understandings of Indonesian national movement history and state nurture attitudes. The study used the descriptive quantitative research method. The population was designated as all students of Year II of State Senior High School of Gorontalo Municipality of the precept year of 2006/2007. The sample consisted of 159 students, 15% of the total population of 1060 students. Sampling was done by way of multi-stage random sampling. Data collection was done by tests and questionnaires using the Likert scale. Data analysis was done using the correlation and regression statistical techniques. Results of the correlation analysis showed that, there was a meaningful positive relation between understandings of Indonesian national movement history and state nature attitudes (r. count = 0,424; t. count = 5,87 t. table = 1,96). Results of the regression analysis showed a coefficient measure of understanding of Indonesian national movement history and state nurture attitudes of F. count = 34, 44 F. table (2,157) = 3,91. The statistical figures showed that there was a horizontal relation between students understanding for Indonesian national movement history and their state nurture attitudes. It was concluded that Indonesian national movement history had a contribution in developing nurture state attitudes. Key Words: Indonesian national movement history, state nurture, nationalism.

Abstract

Abstract This paper discusses the various aspects of development research activities in the IndoMath Study. This study was developed along lines of formative research: orientation, design and evaluation of intervention, and evaluation of its effectiveness. The research has been conducted during the three fieldworks Yogyakarta. In the first and second fieldwork, the focus was mainly on the design and evaluation of adapted RME exemplary curriculum materials as well as in-service education program. In the third fieldwork, the focus was on the effectiveness of intervention to introduce Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) to mathematic teachers. Abstract

PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR NILAI EKSTRIM BERBASIS MODEL ELICITING ACTIVITIESAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar nilai ekstrim yang didesain dengan enam prinsip model eliciting activities (MEAs) yakni reality, model construction, self-assesment, model documentation, construct shareability, re-useability, dan effective prototype. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian design research tipe development study (development research) menggunakan model pengembangan analysis, design, develompment, implementation, dan evaluation (ADDIE) dan dievaluasi dengan tahapan formative evaluation (one to one, small group, dan field test). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 2 Palembang yang berjumlah 40 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar nilai ekstrim berbasis MEAs berupa Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) dan Petunjuk Guru (PG) yang valid, praktis, dan mudah digunakan. Perangkat pembelajaran ini membantu siswa memahami konsep turunan dan nilai ekstrim serta menerapkan konsep tersebut ke dalam permasalahan nyata (real life problem) dan menarik minat serta keseriusan siswa untuk belajar nilai ekstrim dan mengeksplorasi kemampuan matematis siswa tersebutAbstractThis study was aimed at generating a set of extreme-value instructional materials using six principles of the model eliciting activities (MEAs) namely reality, model construction, self-assessment, model documentation, construct shareability and re-useability, and effective prototype. The study used the research development model using the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) model and was evaluated using formative evaluation phases (one to one, small group, and field test). The subjects were 40 students in grade XI of the Natural Science Department of the State Senior High School 2, Palembang. The result is a set of instructional design consisting of lesson plans, student worksheets, and teacher guides which are valid, practical, and easy-to-use. This instructional material is able to help students to understand the concept of derivatives and extreme values and apply the concepts to real-life problems. It also attracts the interest and the seriousness of the students to learn extreme values and explore their mathematical abilities.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan model penguatan soft skills dalam mewujudkan calon guru kejuruan profesional berkarakter. Penelitian  dirancang dengan menggunakan  pendekatan  Researchand  Development selama dua tahun. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini meliputi kepala SMK, guru, mahasiswa, dan ahli pendidikan. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian meliputi hal-hal berikut ini. Pertama, rumusan model penguatan soft skills calon guru difokuskan kepada dua mata kuliah utama, yakni pengajaran mikro dan PPL dengan model integratif. Kedua, urgensi aspek hard skills dan soft skills berada dalam kategori baik/penting dengan pencapaian rerata di atas  rerata kriteria, dan pencapaian skor masing-masing 88,2%, dan 87,11%. Ketiga, kemampuan aspek hard skills dan soft skills berada dalam kategori baik/penting dengan pencapaian rerata atas rerata kriteria,dan pencapaian skor masing-masing 72,81%, dan 74,11% dalam kategori cukup tinggi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi, kesiapan, dan kebutuhan perangkat keras, lunak, dan sumber daya manusia di sekolah untuk mendukung pengembangan sistem e-learning dan pengembangan model dengan software Moodle yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa sekolah menengah atas di Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain riset dan pengembangan yang menggunakan setting penelitian e-learning di sekolah menengah atas di Yogyakarta. Responden penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah dan para staf yang menggunakan teknologi informasi di sekolah. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) kondisi, kesiapan, dan kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa perangkat keras, dan lunak memenuhi kriteria dasar, sedangkan sumber daya manusianya belum memenuhi jumlah dan kualifikasi baik sebagai pakar maupun teknisi komputer. (2) berdasarkan kondisi, kesiapan, dan kebutuhan, desin awal dari LMS berbasis model pembelajaran dikembangkan dengan software Moodle yang menekankan kepada fasilitas plug-ins, hosting, dan maintenance. Model desain divalidasi oleh pakar dan disosialisasikan dan dilatihkan kepada pegawai administrif di sekolah menengah atas negeri tersebut. Model yang dikembangkan memperoleh respon posotif dari sekolah dan diikuti dengan pengembangan isi mata pelajran dimasukkan ke dalam e-learning.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to describe the elementary school culture autonomy. This is a qualitative research. The information is collected by observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation, and then analyzed through finding formulation stage, member check, and experts’ feedback. It was found that school culture autonomy arouse personnel potency to improve the routine, boring, obsessive, and less productive behavior continuously. In addition it increased critical climate, such as personnel behavior in accepting his supervisor or bureaucrat instruction and in facing pupil parents’ demand. Abstract

This study aimed at planning, constructing, and examining a computer-based learning media to support the implementation ofconstructivist learning in the metrology subject matter. The study usedthe Research and Development (RD) approach. The research stagesincluded: (1) competencies identification, (2) literature review, (3) software development, (4) quality testing, (5) empirical testing, (6) monitoring, (7) software revision, and (8) recording the program.Quantitative data were collected by means of observation sheets,depth interview, and documentation. Data were analyzed using thedescriptive quantitative analysis technique. The results showed that:(1 the quality of the developed media was 73, 13 % (good), (2) thequality of program presentation was at 72, 66 % (good), and (3) theresult of student testing was 76, 14 % (good). It was concluded thatthe developed media was appropriate for use in teaching and learningactivities.

Abstract

Abstract Result learn the student of FIK UNY in subject Sport Psychology less gratifying. Approach model the Strategy Program for Effective Learning/ thinking (SPELT) represent one effort innovate to  increase the quality of result learn the students. This research aim to know the  model applying in improving achievementlearn the student of FIK UNY in subject Sport Psychology. This research use the device of action research. Subject and research object is student FIK UNY. Used Research Instrument: (1) pre test and post test; (2) sheet of method observation learn; and (3) sheet of observation of assessment of student activity in study;(4) sheet of applying observation model the SPELT. Data type obtained by there is two that is quantitative data and qualitative by using technique analysis t test. Result of research indicate that the Sport Psychology study by applying model the SPELT earn: (1) improving result learn the student in subject Sport Psychology; and  (2) increasing the quality of study process in subject Sport psychology. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui rujukan integratif (normatif, prosedural, dan kontekstual) dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan strategi analisis isi dengan unit sampling berupa dokumen hasil penelitian yang relevan dengan nilai karakter yang dihasilkan oleh perguruan tinggi di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dan sekitarnya. Penentuan sampel didasarkan pada unit-unit dan subunit analisis, sedangkan sistem pencatatan berupa pengodean yang dideskripsikan dalam bentuk data untuk dianalisis. Hasilnya pertama, rujukan normatif yang dipakai adalah agama (60%), tujuan pendidikan nasional (25%), budaya (10%), dan Pancasila (5%); kedua, rujukan prosedural praktik dalam bentuk doktrin (45%), pembiasaan (37%), keteladanan (11%), pengembangan iklim suasana (5%), pengembangan penalaran dan perasaan (4%), dan partisipatif/kolaboratif (1%); serta ketiga, rujukan kontekstual berupa pengondisian lingkungan sekolah (56%), program khusus (24%), kegiatan keluar sekolah (13%), kerja sama orang tua (4%), dan upaya preventif (3%).

Abstract

This study was aimed at identifying the factors that caused students of the athletes of the Faculty of Sport Sciences, Semarang State University (UNNES) to carry out procrastination actions in the preparation of the thesis and create a measure of academic procrastination in the preparation of thesis. This study used a mixed method with a sequential exploratory design. The population in this study were the students of Faculty of Sport Sciences, 2010, 2011 and 2012 UNNES who were preparing a thesis. The sampling method used was purposive random sampling. The qualitative data were gathered using questionnaires and interviews, while for quantitative data using the scale of academic procrastination made by the researchers themselves based on the results of qualitative data analysis. Qualitative data analysis technique used was interactive models while Lisrel item analysis was used to analyze quantitative data to confirm which factors had an influence on academic procrastination. The results show that 3 factors causing procrastination namely physical, psychological, and environmental factors. The factors that have the highest influence on academic procrastination are psychic aspects, namely internal factors in each athlete.ANALISIS FAKTOR PENYEBAB PROKRASTINASI AKADEMIK DALAM PENYUSUNAN SKRIPSI PADA MAHASISWA ATLETTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penyebab mahasiswa atlet Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) melakukan tindakan prokrastinasi dalam penyusunan skripsi serta membuat alat ukur prokrastinasi akademik penyusunan skripsi. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode kombinasi (mixed method) dengan rancangan eksploratoris sekuensial. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa atlet Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan UNNES angkatan 2010, 2011 dan 2012 yang sedang menyusun skripsi, selanjutnya pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan purposive random sampling. Perolehan Data kualitiatif dikumpulkan dengan instrumen berupa angket dan wawancara, sedangkan untuk data kuantitatif menggunakan Skala prokrastinasi akademik yang dibuat oleh peneliti sendiri berdasarkan hasil analisis data kualitatif. Teknik analisis data kualitatif menggunakan model interaktif sedangkan data kuantitatif menggunakan analisis item Lisrel untuk mengkonfirmasi faktor mana yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap prokrastinasi akademik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh 3 faktor yang menyebabkan prokrastinasi yaitu fisik, psikis, dan lingkungan. Faktor yang memiliki pengaruh paling tinggi terhadap prokrastinasi akademik adalah aspek psikis yaitu faktor internal pada dalam diri mahasiswa atlet masing-masing.
