Abstract

Pregnancy related to low back pain is one of the most common musculoskeletal complaints during the third trimester, primarily caused by hormonal changes, increased body weight, and postural adaptations. Various non-pharmacological interventions have been recommended to manage this condition; few studies have directly compared the effectiveness of Endorphin Massage and Kinesio Taping, resulting in limited comparative evidence to guide evidence-based clinical decision-making. Therefore, this study aimed to compare the effectiveness of Endorphin Massage and Kinesio Taping in reducing low back pain intensity among third-trimester pregnant women. A quasi-experimental study with a pretest–posttest control group design was conducted involving 40 third-trimester pregnant women selected using purposive sampling. Participants were equally assigned into an Endorphin Massage group (n = 20) and a Kinesio Taping group (n = 20). Pain intensity was assessed before and after intervention using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS), and data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test and Mann–Whitney U Test. Both interventions significantly reduced low back pain intensity (p < 0.001), while comparative analysis showed that Endorphin Massage was significantly more effective than Kinesio Taping (Mean Rank = 30.50 vs. 10.50; p < 0.001). These findings indicate that although both interventions are effective, Endorphin Massage provides greater pain reduction and may be recommended as a first-line non-pharmacological approach for managing pregnancy-related low back pain in maternal healthcare practice.

Abstract

The implementation of deep learning in elementary schools continues to face significant challenges, particularly in strategic learning management and the availability of standardized assessment instruments capable of validly measuring higher-order thinking skills. This study aims to develop a strategic learning management model based on deep learning integrated with standardized assessment instruments to enhance elementary school students' analytical, evaluative, and creative thinking abilities. A mixed-methods approach was employed involving 240 students from eight elementary schools. Data were collected through cognitive tests, questionnaires, classroom observations, and document analysis, and were analyzed using student cognitive achievement tests, Repeated Measures Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings indicate that the proposed model significantly improved students' deep learning competencies, with a 37.0% increase in the experimental group compared with a 12.0% increase in the control group. The developed assessment instrument also demonstrated excellent construct validity and high reliability. Furthermore, teacher readiness, technology integration, and institutional support were identified as the primary factors influencing the successful implementation of the model. These findings contribute a validated strategic learning management model and standardized assessment instrument that support the development of higher-order thinking skills and improve the quality of learning in elementary education.

Abstract

Organizational performance has become a critical determinant of sustainable competitiveness in the Islamic banking industry amid rapid digital transformation, increasing customer expectations, and evolving regulatory demands. Although Strategic Visionary Leadership (SVL) and Total Quality Management (TQM) have been widely recognized as important organizational capabilities, empirical evidence integrating both constructs within an organizational excellence framework remains limited, particularly in Islamic banking. This study aims to examine the effects of Strategic Visionary Leadership and Total Quality Management on Organizational Performance and to develop an Organizational Excellence Framework for PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Regional Central Java. Grounded in the Resource-Based View (RBV) and Dynamic Capability Theory, this research proposes that visionary leadership provides strategic direction, inspires innovation, and enhances organizational adaptability, while Total Quality Management strengthens operational effectiveness through continuous improvement, customer focus, employee involvement, and process excellence. A quantitative explanatory research design was employed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to managers and employees of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Regional Central Java using purposive sampling. Organizational Performance was measured through financial and non-financial indicators, including operational efficiency, service quality, customer satisfaction, employee productivity, innovation capability, and organizational sustainability. The proposed model examines the direct effects of Strategic Visionary Leadership and Total Quality Management on Organizational Performance and their complementary contribution to organizational excellence. The findings are expected to demonstrate that Strategic Visionary Leadership positively influences Organizational Performance while simultaneously strengthening the implementation of Total Quality Management. Furthermore, Total Quality Management is expected to significantly enhance Organizational Performance by improving service quality, operational efficiency, and organizational learning. The integration of these two strategic capabilities provides a comprehensive Organizational Excellence Framework capable of generating sustainable competitive advantage in Islamic banking. This study contributes to the literature by extending the understanding of the relationship between leadership and quality management within an integrated strategic framework. Practically, the findings offer valuable insights for executives of Islamic banks in designing leadership development initiatives and implementing quality management practices that support long-term organizational excellence, resilience, and superior organizational performance in an increasingly competitive financial environment.

Abstract

Hypertension is a prevalent systemic condition that may significantly influence the safety of dental procedures, including tooth extraction. Elevated and uncontrolled blood pressure increases the risk of intraoperative and postoperative complications, such as excessive bleeding, hypertensive crisis, and cardiovascular events. This study aims to evaluate the impact of hypertension on tooth extraction and to outline appropriate management strategies for affected patients. A literature review approach was employed, analyzing relevant scientific sources on hypertension and dental care. Evidence indicates that procedural stress, anxiety, and pain can induce acute elevations in blood pressure. Furthermore, the use of local anesthetics containing vasoconstrictors requires careful consideration due to potential hemodynamic effects. In conclusion, hypertension is a critical factor in dental treatment planning. Comprehensive preoperative assessment, careful intraoperative monitoring, and appropriate postoperative management are essential to minimize complications and ensure patient safety.

Abstract

The rapid growth of internet and social media penetration in Indonesia has transformed marketing activities from conventional approaches into interactive digital marketing, particularly among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Just Hebite, an MSME producing modified cassava flour (mocaf)-based food products in Banjarnegara, Central Java, faces challenges in building brand awareness due to the public's limited familiarity with mocaf-based products compared to wheat flour, alongside the still-developing use of social media marketing. This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of social media marketing, digital content quality, and customer trust on brand awareness of the Just Hebite MSME. A quantitative explanatory research design was employed using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4 software. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale distributed to 104 respondents, determined through purposive sampling from consumers who follow Just Hebite's Instagram account, have been exposed to its social media content, and/or have purchased its products. [Results of hypothesis testing (H1-H3) — pending completion of the outer and inner model analysis in SmartPLS 4.] The findings are expected to provide theoretical contributions to digital marketing literature, particularly regarding brand awareness formation among local, education-based MSME products, and practical contributions for Just Hebite in strengthening its digital marketing strategy.

Abstract

Legal protection for holders of Land Title Certificates (Sertifikat Hak Milik/SHM) represents a funda-mental issue in Indonesian agrarian law, particularly in DKI Jakarta where overlapping land certificates remain a persistent problem threatening the rights of landowners. This study aims to analyze the legal protection framework for certificate holders and evaluate the dispute resolution process for overlapping land title certificates. The method employed is normative juridical research with a statutory and case ap-proach, supported by six years of practical experience in non-litigious advocacy at the Awalindo Jakarta Legal Aid Institute (LBH Awalindo). The analysis integrates Gustav Radbruch’s Three Basic Values of Law: legal certainty (Rechtssicherheit), justice (Gerechtigkeit), and utility (Zweckmäßigkeit). Results show that legal protection for SHM holders is grounded in a negative publication system with a positive tendency (negatief stelsel bertendensi positif), whereby a certificate constitutes strong but non-absolute evidence of land ownership. Dispute resolution for overlapping certificates may be pursued through administrative mechanisms at the National Land Agency (BPN) or through civil litigation. Case analysis of Jakarta District Court decisions No. 278/Pdt.G/2023/PN.Jkt.Pst and No. 633/Pdt.G/2022/PN.Jkt.Pst demonstrates that courts protect good-faith certificate holders while correcting administratively defective certificates. The study concludes that strengthening the land registration system and applying restorative approaches in mediation are essential to achieving substantive justice.

Abstract

The transition toward Society 5.0 a human-centred society that fuses cyberspace and physical space has positioned digital literacy at the centre of educational reform, yet the same acceleration of technology exposes learners to misinformation, cyberbullying, and the erosion of ethical values, revealing that digital skills without strong character are insufficient for sustainable development. This review addresses the problem that digital literacy and character education are frequently pursued as separate agendas, and it aims to construct an integrative conceptual framework linking the two to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) on inclusive and equitable quality education. Using a narrative literature review and conceptual analysis, theoretical and policy sources on digital literacy, character education, Society 5.0, and SDG 4 were examined and synthesised thematically. The analysis shows that the two constructs share the common goal of forming learners who act competently and responsibly, and that their integration converges on the concept of responsible digital citizenship. The proposed framework positions the school, teacher, and curriculum as enabling inputs; the simultaneous cultivation of digital competence and character values as the learning process; digitally literate and ethically grounded learners as the output; and sustainable quality education as the outcome. The framework offers practical guidance for curriculum developers, teachers, and policymakers seeking to align education in the Society 5.0 era with the SDG 4 agenda.

Abstract

Cancer survivorship represents a growing public health concern, with more than 19 million cancer survivors worldwide confronting persistent psychological burdens. Fear of cancer recurrence (FCR) is the most prevalent and clinically significant unmet need, affecting 26%–56% of survivors and substantially impairing quality of life. This narrative review aimed to construct a theoretical foundation for recurrence mitigation among adult cancer patients by synthesizing philosophical, psychological, social, spiritual, and scientific evidence from 19 peer-reviewed articles published between January 2022 and June 2026, guided by the SANRA framework. Narrative synthesis yielded three major themes: (1) FCR as a multidimensional psychological distress construct; (2) adaptation, meaning in life, and spirituality as transformative mediating processes; and (3) psychological, social, and theoretical foundations underpinning resilience and adaptive coping. A theoretical construct was proposed delineating a sequential pathway: FCR → Psychological Distress → [Hope + Meaning in Life + Spirituality + Social Support] → Resilience → Adaptive Coping → Psychological Well-Being → Quality of Life → Recurrence Mitigation, with feedback loops. Seven testable theoretical propositions are presented. This construct provides a scientifically grounded, philosophically coherent, and empirically supported framework for nursing practice, psycho-oncological intervention, and future empirical validation.

Abstract

This study analyzes unlawful credit card collection practices by debt collectors in Semarang and identifies legal protection mechanisms available for debtors. The research addresses the gap between existing regulatory frameworks and field practices, as evidenced by 17,849 complaints recorded between 2024 and 2025 regarding debt collector violations. Using a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach, this research references OJK regulations (POJK No. 22/2023, SEOJK No. 15/2018), the Consumer Protection Law (No. 8/1999), and empirical data from media reports and official documents. The findings reveal that illegal collection practices include verbal threats, intimidation, calls outside permitted hours, and unauthorized dissemination of personal data, causing psychological, social, and financial harm to debtors. Legal protection mechanisms available include complaints to OJK, BPSK dispute resolution, civil lawsuits under Article 1365 of the Indonesian Civil Code, and criminal reports to the police. The study concludes that consistent law enforcement, regulatory supervision, and legal literacy are essential to prevent unlawful practices. Persuasive and digital collection approaches have proven effective in reducing violations and increasing compliance, serving as a reference for academics, legal practitioners, financial institutions, and the public to enhance consumer protection and ensure fair debt collection practices.

Abstract

The rapid convergence of digital technology and everyday human life in the Society 5.0 era requires elementary education to equip young learners with both technical competence and strong character. This study examines how digital literacy can be strengthened in elementary schools to prepare students for the challenges and opportunities of the Society 5.0 era, while simultaneously reinforcing character values such as responsibility, honesty, and empathy. Using a qualitative descriptive method supported by a systematic review of national and international publications from the last five years, this study analyzes the strategies, challenges, and outcomes of digital literacy integration in primary education. The findings indicate that effective digital literacy strengthening requires synergy among teachers, parents, and the school environment, supported by curriculum integration, habituation of ethical digital behavior, and the development of teacher digital competence. The study also finds that digital literacy cannot be separated from character education, since both are needed to produce a generation capable of using technology responsibly and ethically. A comparative analysis with studies from other countries shows similar overall patterns but also context-specific challenges related to infrastructure, teacher readiness, and cultural values. This study concludes that strengthening digital literacy in elementary schools is a strategic effort to prepare a generation of digitally competent and morally grounded students who are ready to face the complexity of the Society 5.0 era.
