Abstract

Organizational performance increasingly depends on leadership practices that create psychologically supportive workplace relationships. Although Inclusive Leadership has been recognized as an important factor in improving employee engagement, collaboration, innovation, and organizational performance, previous studies have mainly emphasized Psychological Safety as the primary explanatory mechanism. This study aims to examine the mediating role of Psychological Workplace Relationships in the relationship between Inclusive Leadership and Organizational Performance. This study employed a quantitative explanatory research design using a cross-sectional survey involving academic and administrative staff at Universitas Ngudi Waluyo, Indonesia. Data were collected through structured questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to assess the measurement model, structural relationships, and mediation effects. The results indicate that Inclusive Leadership significantly improves Psychological Workplace Relationships by strengthening openness, accessibility, fairness, trust, and supportive communication. Furthermore, Psychological Workplace Relationships positively influence Organizational Performance through enhanced collaboration, knowledge sharing, employee engagement, adaptability, and innovative behavior. The findings also confirm that Psychological Workplace Relationships significantly mediate the relationship between Inclusive Leadership and Organizational Performance. This study expands the Inclusive Leadership literature by introducing Psychological Workplace Relationships as a broader relational mechanism beyond Psychological Safety. By integrating trust, respect, emotional support, and open communication, this research provides a comprehensive explanation of how inclusive leadership contributes to sustainable organizational effectiveness and offers practical implications for developing supportive workplace environments.

Abstract

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a chronic respiratory disorder characterized by per-sistent airflow limitation, excessive mucus production, chronic cough, and difficulty in clearing airway secretions. Ineffective airway clearance is one of the common nursing problems experienced by COPD patients due to increased sputum production and decreased ability to perform effective coughing. This article aims to describe nursing management of ineffective airway clearance through effective cough exercise combined with warm water administration in COPD patients. This study used a descriptive case study approach based on the nursing process, including assessment, nursing diagnosis, intervention, imple-mentation, and evaluation. The case was conducted at RSUD Gondo Suwarno Ungaran involving a COPD patient with ineffective airway clearance problems. Nursing interventions included respiratory monitoring, effective cough training, semi-Fowler positioning, and warm water administration to assist sputum mo-bilization. The results showed improvement in airway clearance, characterized by easier sputum expecto-ration, reduced respiratory discomfort, and improved breathing condition. Effective cough exercise combined with warm water administration can be used as a simple non-pharmacological nursing inter-vention to support airway clearance management in COPD patients.

Abstract

The rapid convergence of digital technology and everyday life in the Society 5.0 era has reshaped how elementary school students learn, socialize, and build their character. While digital literacy equips young learners with the technical and cognitive skills needed to navigate digital environments, character education remains essential to ensure that technological fluency is balanced with ethical judgment, empathy, and social responsibility. This study examines the interconnection between digital literacy and character education for elementary school students, identifies the challenges faced by teachers and schools in integrating both competencies, and explores the opportunities that Society 5.0 offers for strengthening character formation through digital means. A qualitative narrative literature review method was employed, synthesizing findings from national and international peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2018 and 2025. The results indicate that digital literacy contributes positively to character strengthening when it is deliberately embedded in classroom pedagogy and supported by teacher competence, parental supervision, and school policy. However, challenges such as unequal digital access, teachers' limited digital pedagogical skills, and students' exposure to cyberbullying and misinformation continue to hinder effective implementation. The study concludes that strengthening character education through digital literacy requires a collaborative, human-centered approach involving teachers, families, and communities, consistent with the Society 5.0 vision of technology that serves human values.

Abstract

The Society 5.0 era requires primary education to balance technological advancement with the development of students' moral and social values. Although digital literacy has become an essential competency, many primary schools still implement it separately from character education, limiting students' ability to develop responsible digital behavior. This study aimed to examine how digital literacy and character education can be integrated to foster digital citizenship among primary school students. A qualitative case study was conducted in selected primary schools implementing Society 5.0-oriented learning. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with teachers, classroom observations, and document analysis, and were analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings identified three key strategies for promoting digital citizenship: integrating digital ethics into subject learning, implementing collaborative project-based learning to strengthen digital empathy and responsible online behavior, and fostering active partnerships between schools and families to reinforce digital character development. The integrated approach contributed to improved ethical awareness, responsible technology use, collaborative skills, and the prevention of cyberbullying among students. The study concludes that integrating digital literacy with character education provides an effective pedagogical framework for preparing responsible, ethical, and digitally competent citizens capable of thriving in the Society 5.0 era.

Abstract

Mango candied fruit is a food that is popular with the public because of its fresh taste. Currently, many candied fruit producers add preservatives, one of which is benzoic acid. Regulation of the Head of the Indonesian Food and Drug Administration (BPOM) No. 36 of 2013 stipulates that the permitted dose of benzoic acid for candied fruit is ≤500 mg/kg of material weight. This study aims to determine whether the benzoic acid content in mango candied fruit sold in markets and supermarkets in Semarang Regency meets BPOM requirements or not. The methods used in this study are qualitative and quantitative analysis using UV-Vis spectrophotometry. The results of the analysis of four mango candy samples showed that all samples tested positive for benzoic acid, namely samples A, B, C, and D. The benzoic acid content of samples A, B, C, and D was 54.22 mg/kg, 57.06 mg/kg, 65.65 mg/kg, and 27.87 mg/kg, respectively. This means that the benzoic acid content in all samples meets the maximum permissible limit set by the Indonesian Food and Drug Administration (BPOM) Regulation No. 036 of 2013, which is 500 mg/kg of the product's weight.

Abstract

Nonadherence refers to the behavior of an individual or family that does not follow the treatment plan recommended by healthcare professionals. This behavior can reduce treatment effectiveness, hinder disease control, and increase the risk of complications, especially in chronic conditions such as hypertension. Appropriate nursing management is therefore necessary to improve family understanding, awareness, and involvement in following the prescribed treatment plan. This scientific paper aims to describe the man-agement of nonadherence through health education using the Socratic method among a family with a history of hypertension at the Bergas Community Health Center. The study employed a descriptive method with a case study design and applied a family nursing process approach. The nursing process consisted of assessment, formulation of nursing diagnoses, planning of interventions, implementation of nursing ac-tions, and evaluation. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling, with one family selected as the study subject. Health education using the Socratic method was delivered through guided questions and dialogue to explore the family’s understanding of hypertension and treatment adherence. The case study focused on how this educational approach was incorporated into family nursing care to address nonadherence while maintaining continuity between assessment findings, interventions, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing process.

Abstract

Digital economic transformation has become one of the key strategies for promoting national economic growth through the integration of digital technologies across various sectors, including Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). MSMEs play a strategic role in Indonesia's economy by contributing to employment creation, income generation, and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth. However, the digitalization of MSMEs continues to face several challenges, including limited digital literacy, inadequate technological infrastructure, and the underutilization of digital services by business actors. This study aims to analyze the role of government policies in supporting digital economic transformation to foster the sustainable development of MSMEs in Indonesia. A qualitative approach employing a literature review method was adopted by examining scholarly journal articles, academic books, government documents, and reports published by international organizations. The findings indicate that government initiatives, in-cluding Making Indonesia 4.0, the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS), the Online Single Submission (OSS) system, and the National Movement for Proudly Made in Indonesia (Gernas BBI), have positively contributed to improving operational efficiency, expanding market access, strengthening fi-nancial inclusion, and enhancing the competitiveness of MSMEs. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of these policies is influenced by the readiness of human resources, the availability of digital infrastructure, and collaboration among relevant stakeholders. Therefore, continuous strengthening of digital transformation policies is essential to establish an inclusive digital ecosystem, improve the competitiveness of MSMEs, and support sustainable economic development in Indonesia.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly transformed business practices in the culinary sector, particularly through online food delivery platforms, social media marketing, and digital payment systems. While many culinary businesses have adopted digital technology to expand their market reach, some small-scale culinary vendors continue to operate using conventional business models. This study aims to analyze the survival strategies employed by offline pickup-truck culinary vendors in the digital era. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed to explore the experiences and business practices of culinary vendors operating without online marketing platforms in East Ungaran District, Semarang Regency, Indonesia. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving one primary informant and two supporting informants selected using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, supported by MAXQDA software for coding and thematic analysis. The findings indicate that business sustainability is primarily maintained through consistent product quality, preserving food taste, providing friendly customer service, maintaining competitive pricing, and strengthening social relationships with customers. Although the vendors have not adopted digital marketing, they have selectively utilized QRIS as a digital payment method to facilitate transactions. The study concludes that business survival in the digital era is not solely determined by technological adoption but is also strongly influenced by product quality, customer trust, and social capital developed through direct interactions. These findings contribute to the understanding of survival strategies among informal culinary businesses operating outside digital platforms.
