Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the liquidity ratio and profitability ratio. The liquidity financial ratio is used to measure a company’s ability to immediately pay its current liabilities or debts, as well as its capability to generate profit from sales. The research was conducted using data obtained from the official website of PT Garuda Food Putra Putri Jaya Tbk and the Indonesia Stock Exchange, by examining the financial statements and financial performance from the years 2021 to 2024. The research method involved documentary data collection and literature study. The results of the financial performance analysis indicate that the company is in an unfavorable condition, as reflected in the financial ratios, which show that PT Garuda Food Putra Putri Jaya Tbk has not been able to generate the expected profit over four consecutive years and is also in a non-liquid state. Based on the liquidity ratio analysis, the Quick Ratio in 2021 was 0.81%, and it increased in 2022 and 2023 to 1.10%, indicating that the company was able to meet its short-term liabilities or current obligations. The Current Ratio in 2021 was 1.47%, rising to 1.74% in 2022, 1.78% in 2023, but then dropping to 1.37% in 2024. These results show that the company’s current ratio remains below the standard benchmark. The Cash Ratio was 0.51 or 51% in 2021 and increased to 0.60 or 60% by 2023. However, in 2024, it declined again due to an increase in total deposits while cash assets remained low.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the efficiency ratio, effectiveness ratio, and contribution ratio of regional taxes and regional levies on the Original Regional Income (PAD) of the Regional Revenue Agency (BAPENDA) of Kupang Regency for the period 2019–2023. This research employs a quantitative descriptive analysis approach using time series data, which are secondary in nature, obtained from relevant official sources. The efficiency ratio measures the extent to which revenue collection processes utilize resources optimally. The effectiveness ratio evaluates the achievement of revenue targets, while the contribution ratio assesses the share of each revenue component toward overall PAD. The findings reveal that the average efficiency ratio of regional taxes and levies in Kupang Regency is 2.00%, which falls under the very efficient criteria. This indicates that the operational costs incurred for collecting these revenues are significantly lower compared to the actual revenue collected, reflecting effective cost management and operational control. The average effectiveness ratio for regional taxes is 82.75%, which is categorized as quite effective, suggesting that most of the revenue targets were achieved during the observation period. In contrast, the effectiveness ratio for regional levies is 34.20%, classified as ineffective, indicating considerable underperformance in meeting revenue targets for levies. Furthermore, the analysis of the contribution ratio shows that regional taxes contribute an average of 99.85% to PAD, which is considered very good and highlights their dominant role as the primary revenue source for Kupang Regency. Conversely, regional levies contribute only 0.69% on average, which falls under the very poor category, suggesting minimal significance in the overall PAD structure. These results emphasize the importance of maintaining the efficiency of tax collection processes while formulating strategies to improve levy collection performance.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of suboptimal employee performance at PT Jurong Engineering Lestari (PT JEL) Jakarta. One factor suspected of influencing this situation is the provision of incentives and a work environment that is not fully supportive, as well as organizational commitment, which plays a mediating role in this relationship. Furthermore, previous research has shown varying findings regarding the influence of incentives and the work environment on employee performance. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the role of organizational commitment as a mediator in the relationship between incentives and the work environment on employee performance at PT JEL Jakarta. This study used a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population in this study was all employees of PT JEL Jakarta, totaling approximately 1,900. The research sample was determined at 110 respondents using a purposive random sampling technique, and 101 respondents were able to analyze the data. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires, while hypothesis testing was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS. The results of the study indicate that: (1) incentives and the work environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment; (2) organizational commitment, incentives, and the work environment have a positive and significant influence on employee performance; and (3) organizational commitment has been shown to mediate the influence of incentives and the work environment on employee performance. These findings reinforce the importance of organizational commitment as an intermediary variable in improving employee performance. The implications of this study suggest that companies need to prioritize fair and appropriate incentive systems and create a conducive work environment that supports collaboration among employees. This will foster a strong commitment from employees to contribute optimally to achieving organizational goals.

Abstract

This study is a systematic review aimed at identifying and analyzing hospital management innovation in the context of the National Health Insurance (JKN) system. By examining 20 recent journals published between 2019 and 2025, this research provides an overview of the key strategies that hospitals employ to enhance their competitiveness and improve service delivery. The focus includes management strategies, marketing approaches, operational efficiency, and the role of information technology. The analysis reveals that effective hospital management in the JKN era requires a combination of long-term strategic planning and short-term tactical adjustments to adapt to regulatory changes. A key element of success is visionary leadership that fosters a culture of innovation and emphasizes data-driven decision-making. Marketing strategies, which traditionally relied on word-of-mouth and local advertising, have significantly shifted toward digital marketing using social media and online platforms. This transformation helps hospitals expand their reach, engage with a broader audience, and retain patients through targeted campaigns.Operational efficiency is another critical factor. The implementation of Lean Management principles, service process innovations, and optimization of Hospital Management Information Systems (SIMRS) have contributed to significant improvements in hospital performance. Additionally, human resource management practices have evolved to focus on skill development and creating a workforce that can navigate the challenges posed by JKN. Furthermore, digital technology has revolutionized patient data management and enables real-time performance monitoring, allowing hospitals to maintain high-quality service standards. The study recommends that hospitals integrate management, marketing, and operational efficiency strategies, all supported by technology and a well-trained workforce. By doing so, hospitals can optimize their capabilities and enhance their service quality, ensuring better outcomes for both patients and the healthcare sector as a whole.

Abstract

Based on the 2020 Population Survey by the Central Statistics Agency, it is known that as many as 70.72% or around 191.08 million people are of productive age in Indonesia. However, the proportion of entrepreneurs is still low, which is only 3.5% of this number. This condition shows that there is a gap between the potential of human resources and the realization of entrepreneurship. From the perspective of Sharia Economic Law, the success of a business is not only measured by financial achievements, but also by its ability to provide added value to society. This added value can be realized through consumer satisfaction obtained from quality products or services, fair and competitive prices, operational efficiency, and the application of business ethics in accordance with sharia principles. The case study on Alfriandra Souvenir shows that business development has so far focused on service quality and competitive price quotes. However, management governance is still not optimal and improvements are made periodically without clear standards. This study used a quantitative method involving 98 respondents, while data analysis was carried out with Smart-PLS 3.0. The processing results showed that the R-Square value reached 0.668, which means that the quality of service, price, and Islamic business ethics together contributed 66.8% to consumer satisfaction. The variables of service quality and price have been proven to have a positive and significant influence on consumer satisfaction. In contrast, Islamic business ethics which functioned as a moderation variable did not show a significant influence on the two relationships. Thus, of the four research hypotheses proposed, only two were acceptable, while the other two were rejected. These findings provide important implications that Islamic principles of business ethics remain mandatory to be internalized as part of maqashid al-sharia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of social media, motivation, and creativity on entrepreneurial skills in Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in Kembangan Village, Kebomas District, Gresik. MSEs play a crucial role in improving the community's economy, but still face various limitations in terms of both access to resources and entrepreneurial capacity development. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the extent to which personal factors such as social media utilization, motivational drive, and creativity can contribute to the entrepreneurial skills of MSEs. This study used a quantitative approach, collecting data through a structured questionnaire from 100 registered MSEs in the study area. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25 software. The results showed that social media, motivation, and creativity did not significantly influence entrepreneurial skills, either partially or simultaneously. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.073, or 7.3%, indicating that the model only explains a very small proportion of the variation in entrepreneurial skills. These findings suggest that factors beyond the research variables, such as market access, availability of business training, and financial support, likely exert a more dominant influence on the development of entrepreneurial skills among MSEs in rural and peri-urban areas. Therefore, efforts to increase entrepreneurial capacity cannot rely solely on individual factors but also require integrated structural interventions. Synergy between strengthening personal competencies, government policy support, providing funding facilities, and expanding market access is crucial for creating a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem. This research is expected to provide input for local governments, MSE support institutions, and academics in formulating more effective and targeted MSE development strategies.

Abstract

This research aims to find out in depth the process of exporting mineral water commodities carried out by PT. Bromo Tirta Lestari through the use of dry containers with an FCL (Full Container Load) pattern managed by EMKL services PT. Link Pacific, Indonesia, Surabaya branch. The export process is one of the important aspects in supporting the company's competitiveness in the global market, so it needs to be managed efficiently and in accordance with the provisions of international regulations. In practice, there are several problems that arise. First, the stuffing-by-stuffing process takes a long time due to limited labor and lack of auxiliary tools. Second, delays in the arrival of containers to shippers' warehouses often occur because the location of the depot is far enough so that it hinders smooth operations. Third, the completeness of export documents has proven to be a key factor in the smooth handling of dry containers, because each stage of export requires documents such as Shipping Instruction (SI), Delivery Order (DO), Export Notification of Goods (PEB), Export Service Memorandum (NPE), and Equipment Interchange Receipt (EIR). This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The results of the study show that increasing the efficiency of stuffing can be done by adding loading and unloading personnel and providing adequate auxiliary equipment. In addition, the timeliness of container arrival can be achieved through better coordination between shippers, EMKL, and trucking parties to make scheduling more precise. The completeness of export documents is also an absolute requirement in ensuring that the entire process runs smoothly without administrative obstacles. Thus, the synergy between shippers, EMKL, and shipping parties greatly determines the success of the mineral water export process.

Abstract

Important factors influencing employee work discipline are the work environment and compensation, especially among the Millennial Generation, which now dominates the workforce. Although known for their flexibility, Millennials demonstrate a high level of professionalism and work responsibility. Furthermore, employee loyalty serves as a moderating variable that strengthens the influence of compensation on work discipline. Therefore, a thorough understanding the characteristics, expectations, and loyalty of the Millennial Generation is crucial for organizations in building sustainable work discipline. Purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the work environment and compensation on work discipline, with employee loyalty as moderating variable for the Millennial Generation. The research subjects were Millennial employees working in the formal sector, with a sample size of 200 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. A quantitative approach using explanatory research methods conducted in the following study, and data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results of the hypothesis testing indicate that the work environment and compensation have a positive and significant effect on work discipline. In addition, employee loyalty has been shown to strengthen influence of the work environment and compensation work discipline. This finding indicates that the higher the employee loyalty, the greater positive impact of the work environment and compensation improving work discipline. In conclusion, companies need to optimally manage the work environment and compensation system and foster loyalty to maintain and improve the discipline of millennial employees, which ultimately has a positive impact on organizational performance.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically examine and analyze the influence of influencer endorsement and online customer reviews on purchase intention and their implications for purchase decisions. The research adopts a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. The population consists of consumers of Rumah Makan Mandarin 28 Tretes, Pasuruan, who have been exposed to or interacted with influencer endorsements and/or related online customer reviews, as well as those who have prior experience or potential interest in purchasing at the restaurant. A total sample of 100 respondents was determined, considered adequate for Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis with a medium-complexity model, and consistent with Roscoe’s guidelines (30–500 respondents). The findings reveal that influencer endorsement has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions. In contrast, online customer reviews show no significant effect on purchase decisions. Furthermore, influencer endorsement exerts a positive and significant effect on purchase intention. Purchase intention is found to partially mediate the effect of influencer endorsement on purchase decisions, but it does not mediate the relationship between online customer reviews and purchase decisions. These results emphasize the importance of influencer endorsement in shaping both consumer purchase intention and purchase decision-making, while online customer reviews do not play a substantial role in this context. The study contributes to the understanding of consumer behavior in the digital marketing era, particularly within the restaurant industry, and provides managerial implications for businesses in developing effective marketing communication strategies through influencer collaboration.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and formulate an effective digital marketing strategy in increasing the profitability of the used motorcycle sales business at K-mpong Motor, Brejel Kidul, Mojokerto. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with SWOT, STP, and 7P marketing mix analysis methods. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis related to marketing activities and business operations. The results of the IFAS and EFAS analysis showed a total score of 3.31 and 3.32, respectively, which placed K-mpong Motor in Quadrant I in the SWOT matrix, so that aggressive strategy was the main choice. Internal strengths include a good local reputation and competitive selling prices, while the main weakness lies in the suboptimal use of digital media. External opportunities arise from the trend of increasing social media use and government support for MSMEs, while the threat comes from increasingly fierce competition between like-minded business actors. Recommended strategies include optimizing promotions through social media, integration with marketplace platforms, increasing digital interaction with customers, and strengthening brand image. The implementation of this strategy is expected to be able to increase sales volume and profitability in a sustainable manner, while strengthening the competitiveness of businesses in the local market. This research provides practical contributions for MSME actors in designing adaptive digital marketing strategies based on situational analysis.
