Abstract

Sidewalks are road supporting facilities in Law no. 22 of 2009 concerning road traffic and transportation, hereinafter referred to as the Road Traffic and Transportation Law, the availability of sidewalks must provide safety and comfort to pedestrians passing by. The subject of pedestrians itself is not only intended for normal people. But also to all levels of society, including people with disabilities, such as the blind, wheelchair users and others. The discussion that will be studied in this paper is related to legal protection for people with disabilities who pass on sidewalks in light of the traffic and road transportation laws. The purpose of this writing is to analyze whether the traffic and road transportation laws provide legal protection to people with disabilities who pass on the sidewalk because the sidewalk is one of the supporting facilities mentioned. The type of research used in this research is descriptive. The results obtained from this research are that the traffic and road transportation law has provided legal protection through Article 121 which states that pedestrians have the right to the availability of sidewalks and other facilities on the highway. This explains that pedestrians have full rights to cross the road without interference from anywhere.

Abstract

Supply Chain management is a crucial aspect for the success and growth of a company. It encompasses various processes such as supplier selection, logistics planning, and supply distribution. CV Mitraa Anugrah Mandiri, as a company operating in the field of goods distribution, has experienced the Bullwhip Effect phenomenon. The Bullwhip Effect is a significant discrepancy between existing inventory and demand. This is caused by misinterpretation of demand data and a lack of integrated information systems across the distribution chain. The purpose of this study is to measure the Bullwhip Effect level and provide necessary improvement suggestions to reduce the Bullwhip Effect at CV Mitraa Anugrah Mandiri. The results of the Bullwhip Effect level measurement for each product are: Superior Mie Bakso 2kg at 1.212, Gula Matahari at 0.893, Susu Bendera Saset Putih 40gr at 1.207, and Tepung Dragon 25kgs at 1.495. With these results, the products Superior Mie Bakso 2kg, Susu Bendera Saset Putih 40gr, and Tepung Dragon 25kgs experience demand variability exceeding inventory variability, while the product Gula Matahari experiences inventory variability exceeding demand variability (overstock). At the echelon level, the Bullwhip Effect phenomenon occurs for distributors of the products Superior Mie Bakso 2kg, Gula Matahari, Susu Bendera Saset Putih 40gr, and Tepung Dragon 25kgs with a Bullwhip Effect level of 1.204. This indicates that demand variability exceeds inventory variability. The researcher suggests improvements using the Vendor Managed Inventory method as a long-term strategy that can be applied at CV Mitraa Anugrah Mandiri and enhance relationships with retailers to facilitate product demand acceptance from retailers.

Abstract

Indonesia's need for electrical energy is also increasing along with increasing industrial activity. One of the power generating units that plays a vital role in Indonesia is the PLTU. PT. Bhimasena Power Indonesia is a PLTU company located in Batang, Central Java. The main fuel for electrical energy in PLTUs is coal. The transportation is carried out using trucks. However, due to limited parking space and a long unloader system, there are queues for truck transportation. Manufacturing Cycle Effectiveness calculations were carried out to determine the effectiveness value of the unloader system and then elimination of non-value added activities was carried out. It was found that the effectiveness percentage which was previously 51.6% became 55.3% after elimination, it could optimize the effectiveness value of the ash loading system at PT Bhimasena Power Indonesia.. Keywords: PLTU, Manufacturing Cycle effectiveness, Unloader.

Abstract

Concrete is a structural element consisting of aggregate particles attached by a paste made from Portland cement and water. Brass powder waste is of particular concern, if left unchecked over time it will increase and accumulate, thus polluting the environment. One of its utilization is by making the waste as a concrete mixture material. This study aims to determine the compressive strength of normal concrete and concrete after adding brass powder at a percentage dose of 10% and 25% of the weight of fine aggregate. The method used in this study was an experimental method with a design concrete quality of 22 MPa, with 15 specimens. From the test results, the average compressive strength of normal concrete is 22.330 MPa. The average compressive strength of concrete with the addition of 10% brass powder by weight of fine aggregate was 20.962 MPa, decreased the compressive strength of concrete by 0.938%. The average compressive strength in concrete with the addition of brass powder of 25% by weight of fine aggregate is 23.736 MPa, experiencing an increase in compressive strength in concrete of 1.062% of the compressive strength in normal concrete

Abstract

Zero net emission has become a global issue that is being discussed intensively along with the development of technology to the point of giving birth to various policies that have been issued by many countries in the world. One way to realize this is by diversifying green energy. Bio energy is the right solution to achieve this global goal, namely the utilization of pineapple skin waste as raw material for biogas production. so it is very appropriate to conduct research to examine the effect of adding pineapple skin waste to increase biogas production with microwave treatment and process optimization. The optimum condition of the temperature variable obtained the best results at a temperature of 900C with a cellulose solubility of 29.42%, while the lignin solubility obtained was 9.05% which can be concluded that MAE pretreatment can increase the solubility of the cellulose and lignin composition. Furthermore, the optimum condition for biogas production was produced in pineapple skin samples with MAE treatment with a ratio of 1:2 (w/v) of 917mL. From the research that has been carried out, it shows that along with the increase in total solids entered into the biodigester, the amount of biogas production produced will increase.
