Journal of Automotive Technology and Education (JATE) adalah jurnal akademik berbasis peer-review yang diterbitkan oleh Departemen Pendidikan Teknik Otomotif, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY). Jurnal ini didedikasikan untuk mewadahi dan mendiseminasikan kajian teoretis maupun riset empiris dalam rumpun ilmu pendidikan vokasi, teknologi terapan, dan teknik otomotif. Fokus dan Ruang Lingkup (Focus and Scope) JATE mempublikasikan naskah penelitian yang berfokus pada tiga pilar utama: 1. Pendidikan Vokasi Otomotif: Mencakup pengembangan kurikulum (termasuk Kurikulum Merdeka di SMK), model dan strategi pembelajaran, instrumen evaluasi/asesmen praktik, efikasi diri dan kompetensi guru, hingga manajemen pendidikan vokasi. 2. Teknologi Terapan Otomotif: Berkaitan dengan inovasi rekayasa otomotif, pengujian performa mesin, efisiensi energi, hingga riset kendaraan masa depan seperti teknologi sepeda motor dan mobil listrik (EV). 3. Teknik dan Manajemen Perbengkelan: Meliputi implementasi Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) di bengkel/laboratorium, budaya kerja industri (seperti 5R), manajemen kualitas perakitan, dan perawatan kendaraan ringan maupun berat. Informasi Penerbitan E-ISSN: 3063-3591 Frekuensi Terbit: Terbit secara berkala dua kali dalam setahun, yaitu pada bulan Januari dan Juli. Bahasa Publikasi: Jurnal ini menerima dan menerbitkan naskah dalam Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris. Akses: Jurnal ini menggunakan sistem Open Access, sehingga seluruh literatur dan hasil penelitian yang dipublikasikan dapat diakses secara terbuka dan gratis oleh publik, peneliti, serta praktisi pendidikan. Target Pembaca dan Penulis Jurnal ini menjadi platform yang sangat relevan bagi dosen, peneliti, mahasiswa, praktisi industri otomotif, dan khususnya guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) yang ingin membagikan hasil riset terapan demi kemajuan teknologi serta kualitas pendidikan vokasi di Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesiapan guru yang mengajar di jurusan Teknik Otomotif SMK Muhammadiyah Piyungan pada tahap perencanaan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan angket dan wawancara. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian kesiapan guru Teknik Otomotif dalam tahap perencanaan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar yaitu guru yang mengajar pada jurusan Teknik Otomotif dengan jumlah 19 guru. Validasi instrumen dilakukan oleh ahli (expert judgment) dan reliabilitas instrumen menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach dengan pengujian menggunakan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS 26.0 memperoleh hasil nilai r = 0,969. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesiapan guru Teknik Otomotif dalam tahap perencanaan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar, (58%) guru dikategori kurang siap dalam aspek pemahaman dan pengetahuan karakteristik Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar, (53%) guru dikategori siap pada Capaian Pembelajaran, (58%) guru dikategori kurang siap pada Pembelajaran dan Asesmen, (74%) guru dikategori kurang siap pada Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila, (47%) guru dikategori kurang siap pada Perangkat Ajar, dan (74%) guru dikategori kurang siap pada Kurikulum Operasional Satuan Pendidikan yang mengacu Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar, secara keseluruhan (53%) guru dikategori kurang siap pada perencanaan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar. Kata Kunci: Kurikulum, Merdeka belajar, Tahap Perencanaan, SMK Muhammadiyah Piyungan, Implementasi Abstract This study aims to determine the level of readiness of teachers teach in the Automotive Engineering department of Muhammadiyah Piyungan Vocational School at the planning stage of implementing the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum. This study uses descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods using data collection techniques by questionnaire and interviews. The subjects total of 19 teachers. Instrument validation was carried out by (expert judgment) and instrument reliability used the Alpha Cronbach formula with testing using the SPSS 26.0 software to obtain a value of r = 0.969. The results showed that the level of readiness of Automotive Engineering teachers in the planning stage of implementing the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum, (58%) teachers were categorized as less prepared in terms of understanding and knowledge of the characteristics of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum, (53%) teachers were categorized as ready for Learning Outcomes, (58%) teachers were categorized as unprepared for Learning and Assessment, (74%) teachers were categorized as unprepared for Profil Pelajar Pancasila, (47%) teachers were categorized as unprepared for Teaching Devices, and (74%) teachers were categorized as unprepared for the Education Unit Operational Curriculum, overall (53%) teachers are in the category of less prepared for planning the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the patterns of students' academic performance based on final semester exam scores, attendance, and task participation using the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) approach and the k-means clustering algorithm. The data used in the study were collected from 50 students and included exam scores, attendance rates, and task participation. The PCA method was employed to reduce the dimensionality of the data, resulting in two principal components (PC1 and PC2) that explained 74.57% of the data variability. Subsequently, the k-means algorithm was applied to cluster students into three groups based on their performance patterns. The clustering results revealed three main clusters: Cluster A (low performance), Cluster B (moderate performance), and Cluster C (high performance). These findings indicate that students' academic performance can be influenced by various factors, including attendance, participation, and scores, highlighting the need for more personalized and adaptive learning approaches tailored to each student's characteristics.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) mengetahui kesiapan kerja apprentice group 27 PT. XYZ ditinjau dari motivasi, (2) mengetahui kesiapan kerja apprentice group 27 PT. XYZ ditinjau dari kompetensi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei sensus dengan subjek penelitian adalah seluruh apprentice group 27 PT. XYZ yang berjumlah 94 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode angket yang dikembangkan dari kisi-kisi instrumen dan dengan metode pengumpulan dokumentasi skill matrix apprentice. Validitas instrumen dilakukan dengan expert judgement dan menggunakan Corrected Item-Total Correlation pada Reliability Analysis program SPSS. Reliabilitas instrumen menggunakan Cronbach’s Alpha pada Reliability Analysis program SPSS. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kesiapan kerja apprentice group 27 PT. XYZ ditinjau dari motivasi termasuk dalam kategori sangat siap (87,33%) dengan rincian motivasi internal kategori sangat siap (88,51%) dan motivasi eksternal kategori sangat siap (85,83%) menunjukkan bahwa apprentice memiliki motivasi yang tinggi untuk bekerja sebagai teknisi alat berat, (2) kesiapan kerja apprentice group 27 PT. XYZ ditinjau dari kompetensi termasuk dalam kategori sangat siap (97,93%) yang menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar apprentice telah memiliki kompetensi yang dibutuhkan sebagai teknisi alat berat. Perlu dilakukan kegiatan yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan penelitian lebih lanjut terhadap variabel lain yang mempengaruhi kesiapan kerja, selain motivasi dan kompetensi. Kata kunci: kesiapan kerja; apprentice; motivasi; kompetensi Abstract The aims of this study were: (1) to determine the work readiness of the apprentice group 27 PT. XYZ in terms of motivation, (2) knowing the work readiness of the apprentice group 27 PT. XYZ in terms of competence. This research is a census survey research with the research subjects being all apprentice groups 27 PT. XYZ which amounted to 94 people. Data were collected using a questionnaire method which was developed from instrument grids and by the skill matrix apprentice documentation collection method. The validity of the instrument was carried out by expert judgment and using the Corrected Item-Total Correlation in the Reliability Analysis using SPSS program. Instrument reliability uses Cronbach's Alpha in the Reliability Analysis using SPSS program. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical techniques with percentages. The results of the research show that: (1) the work readiness of the apprentice group 27 PT. XYZ in terms of motivation is included in the very ready category (87.33%) with details of internal motivation in the very ready category (88.51%) and external motivation in the very ready category (85.83%) indicating that apprentices have high motivation to work as heavy equipment technicians, (2) work readiness apprentice group 27 PT. XYZ in terms of competence is included in the very ready category (97.93%) which shows that most of the apprentices already have the competencies needed as heavy equipment technicians. It is necessary to carry out activities that can increase motivation and further research on other variables that affect work readiness, besides motivation and competence. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi promosi yang dilakukan bengkel Auto2000 Bekasi Timur, dan mengidentifikasi strategi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan pencapaian Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Auto2000 Bekasi Timur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni wawancara dengan kepala bengkel, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yaitu: 1) Bentuk kegiatan promosi yang dilakukan Auto2000 Bekasi Timur meliputi: a) iklan: Auto2000 Digiroom, Whatsapp Blast, Instagram, poster/pamflet; b) promosi penjualan: paket servis GBSB/FPC/T-Care, promo servis. c) acara dan pengalaman: kopdar komunitas mobil Toyota, dan talkshow (offline di bengkel & online via Instagram); d) hubungan masyarakat dan publisitas: Auto2000 Goes to Residen; e) penjualan personal: service advisor, THS technician, dan petugas MRA; f) pemasaran langsung: petugas MRA baik melalui pesan Whatsapp ataupun via telepon; g) pemasaran interaktif: talkshow live via Instagram @auto2000bekasitimurofficial; h) pemasaran mulut ke mulut: karyawan bengkel dan pelanggan bengkel. 2) Evaluasi hasil Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Auto2000 Bekasi Timur tahun 2022: hasil pencapaian KPI tiap bulan pada 2022 baik unit entry, CPUS, maupun revenue dapat mencapai target. Pencapaian tertinggi terhitung pada bulan Juli 2022 dengan akumulasi pencapaian mencapai 409,52% dari 300% target, dikarenakan banyaknya promo servis yang ada di bulan tersebut sehingga menarik minat pelanggan untuk datang ke bengkel. Kata kunci: strategi promosi, key performance indicator, Auto2000 Bekasi Timur Abstract This study aims to describe the promotion strategy carried out by the East Bekasi Auto2000 workshop and identifying the right strategy to increase the achievement of the East Bekasi Auto2000 Key Performance Indicator (KPI). This research is a descriptive research. Data collection methods used are interviews with the head of the workshop, participatory observation, and documentation. The results of the research are: 1) The forms of promotional activities carried out by Auto2000 East Bekasi include: a) advertisements: Auto2000 Digiroom, Whatsapp Blast, Instagram, posters/pamphlets; b) sales promotions: GBSB/FPC/T-Care service packages, service promos. c) events and experiences: kopdar Toyota car community, and talk shows (offline at the workshop & online via Instagram); d) public relations and publicity: Auto2000 Goes to Resident; e) personal sales: service advisors, THS technicians, and MRA officers; f) direct marketing: MRA officers either through Whatsapp messages or via telephone; g) interactive marketing: live talk show via Instagram @auto2000bekasitimurofficial; h) word of mouth marketing: workshop employees and workshop customers. 2) Evaluation of the results of the East Bekasi Auto2000 Key Performance Indicator (KPI) in 2022: the results of achieving KPIs every month in 2022 both unit entry, CPUS, and revenue can reach the target. The highest achievement was in July 2022 with an accumulated achievement of reaching 409.52% of the 300% target, due to the many service promos in that month that attracted customers interest in coming to the workshop. Abstract

Abstract The Covid-19 pandemic has had a detrimental impact on UMKM of motorcycle workshops in Cilacap, especially in terms of business continuity. This study identifies the Business Continuity Plan implemented by UMKM for motorcycle workshops in Cilacap and its surroundings. Participants in this study are UMKM of motorcycle workshops spread across Cilacap City and its surroundings. Data collection was done using a direct interview method with 15 participants. Furthermore, data analysis techniques begin with data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The data validity technique uses observation extension and persistence enhancement. The results showed that the Business Continuity Plan or business continuity plan implemented by UMKM of motorcycle workshops in Cilacap to maintain their business referred to as business strategies or business management, including preparing savings / emergency funds, Business diversification, the use of digital media as a means of promotion, establishing partners with certain parties and relationships with fellow business actors, having a different business focus, prioritizing commodity aspects and service quality. Keywords: Business Continuity Plan, UMKM, Motorcycle Workshops, and Post Covid-19 Pandemic Abstrak Pandemi Covid-19 memiliki dampak yang cukup merugikan bagi UMKM bengkel sepeda motor di Cilacap khususnya dalam hal keberlangsungan usaha. Kajian ini mengidentifikasi Business Continuity Plan yang diterapkan oleh UMKM bengkel sepeda motor di Cilacap dan sekitarnya. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah pelaku UMKM bengkel sepeda motor yang tersebar di Kota Cilacap dan sekitarnya. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara langsung terhadap 15 partisipan. Selanjutnya Teknik analisis data diawali dengan pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan metode perpanjangan pengamatan dan peningkatan ketekunan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Business Continuity Plan atau rencana keberlangsungan usaha yang diterapkan oleh UMKM bengkel sepeda motor di Cilacap dalam rangka mempertahankan usahanya atau disebut sebagai strategi usaha atau manajemen usaha diantaranya dengan cara mempersiapkan tabungan/dana darurat, diversifikasi usaha, pemanfaatan media digital sebagai sarana promosi, menjalin mitra dengan pihak tertentu serta relasi dengan sesama pelaku usaha, memiliki fokus usaha yang berbeda, mengedepankan aspek komoditas dan kualitas pelayanan. Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi penerapan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) meliputi: 1) input penerapan K3 pada pembelajaran praktik, 2) proses penerapan K3 pada pembelajaran praktik, dan 3) hasil penerapan K3 pada pembelajaran praktik di bengkel otomotif SMK Negeri 1 Sedayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan model evaluasi Countenance Stake yang menekankan dua hal pokok yaitu deskripsi dan pertimbangan, dengan 3 tahapan yaitu antecedents, transaction, dan output. Data penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif kuantitatif yang tujuannya untuk menggambarkan dan menganalisis kelompok data tanpa membuat atau menarik kesimpulan atas populasi yang diamati. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI program keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan Otomotif berjumlah 103 siswa yang terbagi menjadi 3 kelas. Proses pengambilan data dilakukan mulai tanggal 31 Oktober sampai 18 November 2022. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi: 1) observasi non-partisipatif yang hanya melihat dan mencatat segala kegiatan yang berhubungan dengan penerapan K3, 2) kuesioner tertutup dengan menggunakan 5 kategori seperti pada skala Likert, dan 3) dokumentasi sebagai data pendukung. Validitas yang digunakan adalah jenis validitas konstruk, yang menunjukkan sejauh mana suatu instrumen mampu mengungkap hasil yang sesuai teori. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pada tahap antecedents (input) masuk dalam kategori baik dengan skor rerata 3,99. Pada tahap transaction (proses) masuk dalam kategori baik dengan skor rerata 3,48 dan pada tahap output (hasil): tidak ada catatan/laporan KAK/ PAK secara tertulis, namun selama 5 tahun terakhir tidak pernah terjadi kecelakaan kerja yang serius dan perlu penanganan medis, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa di SMK Negeri 1 Sedayu telah terbentuk sistem K3 pada bengkel otomotif. Kata Kunci: APD, bengkel otomotif, evaluasi, keselamatan kerja, penerapan K3 Abstract This study evaluates the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) The aim of this study is to evaluate the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in the automotive workshop of SMK Negeri 1 Sedayu, covering: 1) the input, 2) the process, and 3) the results of implementing OSH to the practical learning environment at the automotive workshop of SMK Negeri 1 Sedayu. The study was conducted using quantitative method, with the Countenance Stake model emphasizing two main points, namely description and judgment. It has 3 stages, specifically antecedents, transaction, and output. The research data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive statistics which purpose was to describe and analyze data groups without making or drawing conclusions about the population being observed. The subjects of this research were 103 students of Class XI of the Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering program, divided into 3 classes. The data collection process was carried out from October 31 to November 18, 2022. The data were collected using: 1) non-participant observation that only observes and records all activities related to the implementation of OSH, 2) close-ended questionnaires using 5 categories from the Likert scale, and 3) documentation as supporting data. The validity used is a type of construct validity, which indicates the extent to which an instrument is able to reveal results that are in accordance with the theory. The study found that at the Antecedents (input) stage were in good category with an average score 3,99. At the Transaction (process) stage were in good category with an average score 3,48. At the Output (result) stage: there are no written records of work accidents and/ or occupational diseases. Additionally, in the last 5 years, there has never been a serious work accident that required medical treatment. Therefore, it can be concluded that an OSH implementation system has been established in the automotive workshop at SMK Negeri 1 Sedayu. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan efektivitas program Kelas Industri pada program keahlian Teknik Otomotif SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta ditinjau dari model evaluasi context, input, process, dan product. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif evaluatif dengan model evaluasi CIPP (context, input, process, product) dengan angket, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Subyek penelitian ini terdiri dari guru program Kelas Industri berjumlah empat orang dan siswa program Kelas Industri yang berjumlah 108 orang di SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. Validasi instrumen dilakukan oleh ahli (expert judgement), sedangkan reliabilitas instrumen menggunakan alfa cronbach. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program Kelas Industri Teknik Otomotif di SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta dari evaluasi context kemitraan SMK-Industri perlu ditingkatkan; dari evaluasi input minat siswa persentase 35,19%, kepercayaan diri siswa persentase 44,44%, kepuasan diri siswa persentase 45,37%, sarana dan prasarana terpenuhi sesuai dengan standar industri; dari evaluasi process: pelaksanaan pembelajaran, pemanfaatan media pembelajaran masuk dalam kategori cukup baik dengan persentase 35,19%, penggunaan media dan sumber belajar serta penilaian pembelajaran sangat baik; dari evaluasi product: hasil belajar siswa dalam kategori sangat baik dengan persentase 90% dan keterserapan lulusan dalam kategori tinggi dengan persentase 78%. Kata Kunci: Evaluasi, Program Kelas Industri, TKRO, CIPP Abstract This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the Industrial Class program evaluation in the Automotive Engineering Skills program at SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta in terms of context, input, process, and product evaluation models. This research is evaluative descriptive research using the CIPP model evaluation research method (context, input, process, product) with questionnaires, interviews, documentation, and observation. The subjects of this study consisted of four Industrial Class program teachers and 108 Industrial Class program students at SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. Instrument validation was carried out by experts (expert judgment), while the reliability of the instrument used Cronbach's alpha. Data analysis was performed with qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the Automotive Engineering Industry Class program at SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta from the evaluation of the SMK-Industry partnership context needed to be improved; from the input evaluation the percentage of student interest is 35.19%, student self-confidence is 44.44%, student self-satisfaction is 45.37%, facilities and infrastructure are met according to industry standards; from the evaluation process: the implementation of learning, the use of learning media is in the pretty good category with a percentage of 35.19%, the use of media and learning resources and the learning assessment is very good; from product evaluation: student learning outcomes are in the very good category with a percentage of 90% and graduate absorption is in the high category with a percentage of 78%. Abstract

Abstract The implementation of the independent curriculum (IKM) allows for potential obstacles in learning. Therefore, this research aims to find out the IKM, find out the obstacles, and find out the efforts to deal with IKM obstacles in intracurricular learning of vocational content at SMK Muhammadiyah Pakem. This research uses a concurrent mixed-method approach. Research data were obtained through questionnaires to 165 students, questionnaires and documentation to 18 teachers, and interviews to 5 teachers. Instrument validity used professional judgement method and reliability estimation using Cronbach's Alpha formula. Data analysis used descriptive statistical techniques and thematic techniques. The results of this study show that the aspects of learning in IKM get a good category, there are five obstacles, which are students are not ready to learn independently, low enthusiasm for learning students, teachers need time to adapt, the teacher's mindset has not been built, and the lack of teacher understanding of the independent curriculum, and there are five efforts, which are optimizing facilities from the government, optimizing facilities from schools, discussions with peer teachers, learning independently, and improving classroom conditioning. Based on these results, learning aspects need to be improved so that the implementation of the independent curriculum can be carried out more optimally. Keywords: planning; implementation; Assessment; Independent Curriculum Abstrak Implementasi kurikulum merdeka (IKM) memungkinkan adanya potensi kendala dalam pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui IKM, mengetahui kendala, dan mengetahui upaya menghadapi kendala IKM dalam pembelajaran intrakurikuler muatan kejuruan di SMK Muhammadiyah Pakem. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed method model concurrent. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui kuesioner terhadap 165 siswa, kuesioner dan dokumentasi terhadap 18 guru, serta wawancara terhadap 5 guru. Validitas instrumen menggunakan metode professional judgement dan estimasi reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Analisis data menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dan teknik tematik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aspek-aspek pembelajaran pada IKM mendapatkan kategori baik, terdapat lima kendala yaitu peserta didik belum siap belajar secara mandiri, antusiasme belajar peserta didik rendah, guru perlu waktu untuk beradaptasi, mindset guru belum terbangun, dan kurangnya pemahaman guru mengenai kurikulum merdeka, serta terdapat lima upaya yaitu optimalisasi fasilitas dari pemerintah, optimalisasi fasilitas dari sekolah, diskusi dengan guru sejawat, belajar secara mandiri, dan meningkatkan pengondisian kelas. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, aspek-aspek pembelajaran perlu ditingkatkan lagi agar implementasi kurikulum merdeka dapat terlaksana lebih optimal. Abstract

Abstract The objectives of this study are to: (1) describe the Dojo Safety Man program, (2) find out the barriers to the implementation of the Dojo Safety Man program, and (3) find out the solutions to the barriers to the implementation of the dojo safety man program at SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques used surveys and interviews. The research subjects were three instructors of Dojo Safety Man at SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga. The results of this study are (1) the dojo safety man program at SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga is described from 3 aspects: aspects of planning standards with industry results 58.33% space standards 100% instructor teacher standards and 87.5% material standards, aspects of program implementation with 15 minutes with the think, talk, and work method, aspects of evaluation and follow-up by applying the material to the school environment. (2) The obstacles of the program are: incomplete information, tools, and practice materials, difficulty organizing schedules, and a limited number of dojo safety man instructor teachers. (3) Solutions to overcome obstacles by gradually completing the existing shortcomings and asking for help from the industry for the development of the dojo safety man. The schedule can be overcome by coordinating between departments in using the room alternately and making internal training at school to train teachers to become dojo safety man instructors at SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga. Keywords: dojo safety man, obstacles, solutions Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan program dojo safety man, (2) mengetahui hambatan pelaksanaan program dojo safety man, dan (3) mengetahui solusi dalam menghadapi hambatan pelaksanaan program dojo safety man di SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan survei dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian adalah tiga guru instruktur dojo safety man SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) program dojo safety man di SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga dideskripsikan dari 3 aspek: aspek perencanaan standar dengan industri hasilnya 58,33% standar ruang 100% standar guru instruktur dan 87,5% standar materi, aspek pelaksanaan program dengan waktu 15 menit dengan metode think, talk, and work, aspek evaluasi dan tindak lanjut dengan menerapkan materi ke lingkungan sekolah. (2) hambatan program yaitu: belum lengkapnya informasi, alat dan bahan praktik, kesulitan mengatur jadwal dan keterbatasan jumlah guru instruktur dojo safety man. (3) Solusi mengatasi hambatan dengan bertahap melengkapi kekurangan yang ada dan meminta bantuan pihak industri untuk pengembangan dojo safety man. Jadwal dapat diatasi dengan koordinasi antar jurusan dalam penggunaan ruang secara bergantian dan membuat pelatihan secara internal di sekolah untuk melatih guru untuk menjadi instruktur dojo safety man di SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui; (1) pelaksanaan Ringkas, Rapi, Resik, Rawat, Rajin di Program Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan Otomotif SMK N 1 Sedayu; (2) hambatan yang dialami oleh pengelola bengkel dalam pelaksanaan 5R di Program TKRO SMK N 1 Sedayu ditinjau dari jawaban pengelola bengkel melalui wawancara yang diberikan; serta memberikan saran untuk mengatasi masalah-masalah tersebut. Jenis penelitian yang dipakai merupakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian adalah pengelola bengkel kerja TKRO yang berjumlah 11 orang dengan rincian 1 kepala jurusan, 1 toolman, dan 9 guru produktif. Penelitian ini memakai instrumen seperti; (1) angket kepada pengelola bengkel TKRO; (2) lembar pedoman wawancara untuk kepala jurusan; guru produktif; dan toolman. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) pelaksanaan 5R dalam pengelolaan bengkel praktik program keahlian TKRO secara keseluruhan sudah terlaksana dengan baik. Hal ini terbukti dari rata-rata pelaksanaan 5R dalam kategori baik yaitu mencapai 76,6%; (2) terdapat hambatan dalam pelaksanaan 5R seperti pengelolaan barang yang telah dihapus, alat dan bahan yang masih kurang, siswa yang masih belum peduli terhadap lingkungan, serta pendanaan yang masih kurang. Solusi untuk hambatan 5R yaitu diadakannya sosialisasi 5R terutama siswa-siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran. Selain itu pemberian poster 5R serta perawatan yang lebih terorganisir terhadap peralatan maupun lingkungan bengkel kerja. Kata Kunci: Pelaksanaan 5R, bengkel kerja TKRO, Hambatan dan Solusi. Abstract This study aims to determine; (1) the implementation of Concise, Neat, Clean, Caring, Diligent in the Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering Expertise Program at SMK N 1 Sedayu; (2) the obstacles experienced by the workshop manager in implementing 5R in the TKRO Program at SMK N 1 Sedayu in terms of the workshop manager's answers through the interviews given; and provide suggestions for solving these problems. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The research sample was TKRO workshop managers, totaling 11 people with details of 1 department head, 1 toolman, and 9 productive teachers. This research uses instruments such as: (1) questionnaire to TKRO workshop managers; (2) interview guide sheets for heads of departments, productive teachers; and a toolman. The results of this study are as follows: (1) The implementation of the 5S in the management of the practice workshop of the TKRO expertise program as a whole has been well implemented. This is evident from the average implementation of the 5S in the good category, namely reaching 76.6%; (2) there are obstacles in the implementation of 5R such as the management of items that have been removed, tools and materials that are still lacking, students who do not care about the environment, and funding that is still lacking. The solution to the 5R obstacles is holding 5R socialization, especially for students who take part in learning.
