Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to equip teachers with understanding and skills in instilling the character of Pancasila and rahmatan lil alamin student profiles through the implementation of the Lukman Al-Hakim Education concept. The method used in community service is Advocacy, which is used for activities in the form of mentoring. The strategy used in developing the community is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). The results of community service are an increase in the knowledge and understanding of Al-Fatimah teachers about the Lukman Al-Hakim Education concept, the implementation of the Lukman Al-Hakim Education concept and the correlation between the Lukman Al-Hakim Education concept with P5 and PPRA. The conclusion of this activity is to help increase the acceleration of P5 and PPRA for Islamic boarding school-based educational institutions, broad and deep knowledge, understanding and skills are needed about various concepts of education in Islam.

Abstract

Work accidents in the construction industry are practically unavoidable, however they can be minimized. The aim of carrying out this community service is to socialize the importance of introducing occupational safety and health (K3) to protect and ensure the safety of every worker. Apart from that, it is also to increase safety and health awareness for workers in the construction projects and to increase awareness of the use of personal protective equipment for workers. Moreover, it is also to provide management recommendations for the layout of construction equipment and materials so as to create a safe working environment. The results showed that there was a significant increase between before the training and after training to the members for REI of South Sumatra. After the post-test was conducted in class, the community service activities was also integrated with lecture activities by inviting students to get involved in the construction projects.

Abstract

This study focuses on mentoring strategies for Nganjuk Regency LPTNU PCNU journal managers. This strategy has two main orientations: increasing the competence of journal managers and accrediting the journals being managed. This study uses the participatory action research (PAR) method because both orientations are forms of fundamental social transformation. This study found that the management of the journal "Kartika: Journal of Islamic Studies," published by LPTNU PCNU Nganjuk Regency, had two fundamental problems: understanding journal management according to national journal quality standards and lack of budget. These two issues are the basis for planning mentoring programs for servants and service partners, so the program design is a workshop and follow-up in the form of mentoring. This fact has implications for the meaning of the concept of service, which does not only stop at planning and implementing the program but makes the program the basis for follow-up so that the service carried out can become more substantive so that fundamental transformation and independence can occur, not superficial service.

Abstract

Empowering children with disabilities through creative skills development is important in supporting their learning process. In MI Al Ma’arif 2 Jombang Jember, children with disabilities are often limited in accessing various opportunities to develop their potential. Therefore, this empowerment aims to develop the knowledge and talents of children with disabilities through creative skills, with the hope of improving their cognitive, social, and emotional abilities. The method used in this service is ABCD with the technique Define (Determine) Discovery (Deep Discovery), Dream (Dream). Design. Deliver or Destiny (Implement and Control or Evaluate). This service involves teachers in supporting the development of children's creative skills. The results showed that creative skills activities, such as drawing, hand art, and music, can improve self-confidence, social skills, and problem-solving ability. Teachers who participated in the programme showed significant improvement in their ability to master learning methods in the inclusive classroom and had better interaction skills Overall, empowerment through creative skills contributed positively to the development of knowledge and talents of children with disabilities in MI Al Ma’arif 2 Jombang Jember.

Abstract

Information overload is more extensive in this digital era, allowing any information to bombard anyone, anytime, and anywhere. Social media algorithms can no longer contain the content that will be consumed by the public. However, they can curate content based on user preferences. Users have limited control over preventing this, including being warned about the presence of radical content. Despite that, the spread of radical content is not only done massively through the internet but can also occur in Islamic study forums. Forums that contain radical movements are widespread within Islam, happening anywhere. Therefore, it is important for society to be aware of the radicalism that threatens the values of Islamic teachings and the principles of Ahlul Sunnah wal Jamaah. One way to counteract radicalism is by sharpening critical thinking and enriching knowledge and literacy. The dissemination of knowledge can be carried out in various forums, including within mosques. Mosques themselves have many functions beyond being places of worship. Understanding these functions and maximizing them is key to addressing the spread of radicalism

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren and majlis ta'lim can become mobilizers of society in a better direction. However, both Pondok Pesantren and majlis ta'lim with strong traditions have a high potential for fanaticism. There is great potential if students or congregations have high confidence if the correct opinion is the opinion of the kyai or leader of the majlis. This service aims to strengthen the understanding of religious moderation using the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method. This approach leads to change, focuses on what the community wants to achieve, and helps the community realize their vision. The results of this service show that there is public understanding regarding four indicators of religious moderation, namely national commitment, tolerance, non-violence, and acceptance of tradition.

Abstract

This activity was carried out at the Darul Ma'arif Mosque, Makassar, for two days using mentoring methods and learning by doing simulations. A total of 12 mosque teenagers actively participated in the training, which included providing materials, direct practice, and question and answer sessions. Participants are given the opportunity to practice the MC role based on a script prepared by the training team. The pre-test results showed that after the training, participants' self-confidence increased significantly to 83.3%. Apart from increasing self-confidence, this training was also successful in expanding participants' knowledge about public speaking techniques and the importance of the MC's role in supporting social and religious activities to become active agents of change in religious and social activities as the next generation for nation and state development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the pedagogical competence of teachers at Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPQ) or the Qur'anic Educational Program in the Southern Purwokerto Region using a Community-Based Research (CBR) approach through four stages: foundation laying, planning, data collection and analysis, and action through Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The initial stage revealed that only 28% of TPQ teachers demonstrated sufficient competence in learning management, while 52% were categorized as suboptimal. Regarding the use of strategies and teaching methods, only 39.6% of teachers exhibited adequate competence, whereas 48.4% lacked these skills. The second stage involved implementing a pedagogical competence enhancement program, which included planning, training in learning management, strengthening teaching strategies and methods, and providing mentoring during implementation. Subsequent evaluation through FGDs demonstrated a significant improvement in the pedagogical competence of TPQ teachers. Competence in learning management increased to 61.2%, while competence in utilizing teaching strategies and methods rose to 72.2%.

Abstract

This mentoring aims to provide guidance to MTsN 6 Nganjuk educators so that they can design and carry out meaningful learning, starting from opening learning, teaching practice in class and closing learning. This mentoring approach uses the participatory action research (PAR) method. The results of this mentoring show that meaningful learning mentoring is very beneficial for providing in-depth understanding to a number of existing educators, both theoretically and practically, starting from learning planning design, meaningful learning practices, mastery of motivation, direction accuracy, and how to give simple assignments to students. It is hoped that the results of this mentoring will become a learning model for educators in other educational institutions to create meaningful learning whose results can be felt by students. Pendampingan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengarahan pendidik MTsN 6 Nganjuk agar dapat merancang dan melakukan pembelajaran bermakna, mulai dari membuka pembelajaran, praktik mengajar di kelas dan menutup pembelajaran. Pendekatan Pendampingan ini menggunakan metode partisipatori action research (PAR). Hasil pendampingan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendampingan pembelajaran bermakna sangat besar manfaatnya untuk memberikan pemahaman secara mendalam kepada sejumlah pendidik yang ada, baik teoritis maupun praktis, mulai dari desain perencanaan pembelajaran, praktik pembelajaran bermakna, penguasan motivasi, ketepatan pengarahan, dan cara memberi tugas yang simpel kepada peserta didik. Diharapkan hasil pendampingan ini menjadi model pembelajaran pendidik di lembaga pendidikan lain untuk menciptakan pembelajaran bermakna yang hasilnya bisa dirasakan oleh peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Bermakna, Pendidik MTsN 6 Nganjuk.

Abstract

The Zakat Village Program is a strategic initiative aimed at community empowerment through the productive management of zakat. This community service activity was conducted in Zakat Village, Sulek Village, Tlogosari Subdistrict, Bondowoso Regency. The objective is to enhance productive zakat literacy based on local wisdom through the Holistic Productive Zakat with ISI Approach, which encompasses three main pillars: Intellectuality, Spirituality, and Integrity. The implementation methods included needs assessment, training, mentoring, and social impact evaluation. The results indicate a significant improvement in the community's understanding of productive zakat, along with the formation of productive business groups rooted in local values. This community service contributes to strengthening a zakat empowerment model that emphasizes the social and spiritual sustainability of society. This article recommends the replication of this model in other regions with appropriate contextual adjustments.
