Abstract

This community service is focused on Small, Micro, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in Tumpukrenteng Village, Turen District, Malang Regency. Business actors often lack understanding of financial management, especially financial and investment governance. So that the knowledge of UMKM actors in the financial sector needs to be improved so that there is no mismanagement in allocating and investing available funds. This encourages the importance of innovative financial management training with presentation, question and answer, and discussion methods to facilitate the absorption of knowledge. The method used in community service is the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method or Asset-Based Community Development as an approach used to see the condition of the community based on the assets and potentials owned in Tumpukrenteng Village. Overall, the training held in Tumpukrenteng village has a significant impact on UMKM actors in increasing their understanding of financial management as a provision for their business development.

Abstract

Podcasts are a digital platform that plays an important role in disseminating information, especially in the field of health promotion. This community service program aims to increase the knowledge and skills of North Kalimantan Health Polytechnic students in using podcasts as a medium to convey health messages. Challenges faced in this activity include a lack of understanding of podcast creation techniques, and a lack of knowledge regarding the benefits in disseminating health information. This service is carried out using the following methods: 1) Presentation of material about making podcasts, 2) practical training in recording podcasts, and 3) teaching about the operation of technical devices such as microphones and editing software. The results achieved from this activity are an increase in students' ability to produce and create effective podcasts, as well as a better understanding of the importance of podcasts in disseminating health information to the public. This program also produces content that can be accessed by various groups.

Abstract

Community Service Based on Religious Moderation is carried out as a tolerant attitude, an embodiment of religious moderation which is actualized through the Religious Moderation Village (KMB), carrying out dialogue between religious believers as a form of harmony and tolerance. As well as literacy materials to minimize conflict between religious communities. South Sibolga has a diverse population, 67.15% Muslim, 29.23% Protestant, 3.04% Catholic and 0.65% Buddhist. This service uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method including planning, implementation and discovery of field facts. The results of the Service show an increase in the understanding of religious moderation in the South Sibolga community from 55% to *)% based on the results of questionnaire data that was distributed before and after the activity was carried out.

Abstract

This service focuses on adolescent sexual reproductive health education in the Serumpun Quality Family Village Community, Sindangjaya Village, Mandalajati District. The approach used is based on community assets with the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method, which aims to provide correct information and increase adolescent knowledge about sexual reproductive health, and the dangers of risky behavior. This strategy not only encourages increasing knowledge but is expected to prevent the transmission of HIV and AIDS, especially among adolescents. The expected result is that adolescents have knowledge of reproductive health so that they stay away from risky behavior, thereby preventing the transmission of HIV and AIDS. This service shows that there is an increase in understanding and knowledge of adolescents about sexual reproductive health to prevent HIV and AIDS.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to strengthen and innovate UMKM in Glingseran Village, Bondowoso. The method used is ABCD with a focus on developing assets in the Glingseran community. The results of the community service stated that the development and innovation carried out by the team in community service activities in Glingseran Village, Bondowoso were able to encourage residents to review the need for fish baskets whether they would always depend on apus bamboo or try other materials that were easier and cheaper. Given that the availability of bamboo in Glingseran Village is running low and bamboo trees are needed to maintain areas with high soil water content. Innovation in sweet corn drink products can be done and made. However, the team and the community need to mature the concept so that the drinks sold have good competitiveness in terms of price and packaging according to current needs.

Abstract

Digital Marketing is one of the marketing media trends that is currently in great demand by the public to support various activities. With E-Marketing, communications and transactions can be carried out at any time and can reach all corners of the world. Based on data taken from the Jatidrojog Village Community, the local residents have the majority of household businesses in the field of processed food production, such as crackers, tofu and snacks. The problems that UMKM still often encounter in running their business are related to HR, capital and marketing issues. The needs desired by the subject are digital marketing, such as WhatsApp business and creating a website as a means of branding, marketing and increasing product sales from the Jatidrojog Village UMKM community. Through this UMKM mentoring program, we have succeeded in making a real contribution to branding and digital product sales. In order to create economic prosperity for small communities. This is expected to provide social, economic, social harmony and environmental benefits.

Abstract

The tourism potential in Jembrana Regency, Bali, requires further development to enrich tourists' choice of attractions. Blimbingsari Village, Melaya District, has great potential to be developed as a higher-level tourist village. In 2024, the Village Service Development program focuses on strategic training, including introducing local culture in English, quality of service training, coffee-making training with grant tools, and installing tourism identity icons. This program is a continuation of similar activities carried out in 2023. English training was given to 23 village youth to improve communication skills and to be able to tell about local culture to tourists while fostering pride in local cultural values. In addition, training in operating coffee equipment and serving menus such as espresso, long black, and caffè latte is designed to empower local business actors. This program improves community skills and opens opportunities for additional income and new businesses, especially in the coffee sector. The results of the activities show a positive impact, both in increasing human resource capacity and village tourism attractions. Tourists can now enjoy authentic cultural and culinary experiences, strengthening Blimbingsari Village's position as a high-value tourist destination.

Abstract

This community service analyzed the relationship between legal interpretation and translation in cases of illegal fishing in Indonesia and its impact on law enforcement. Legal translation errors hindered international cooperation and the implementation of maritime policies. Using a qualitative approach and the PACTE (Process of Acquisition of Translation Competence and Evaluation) model, the activity involved undergraduate law students from Universitas Deli Sumatera in audiovisual tasks to translate and interpret courtroom clips related to illegal fishing. The analysis revealed key challenges in translating technical terms, pragmatics, and socio-cultural relevance. The study highlighted the importance of idiomatic translation and the Skopos approach to maintain legal accuracy. Interactive courtroom simulations were suggested to enhance legal practice understanding and support Indonesia's maritime policy effectiveness.

Abstract

Organizational governance is an important part that cannot be separated from organizational goals, because only with good governance will an organization achieve its goals well. Likewise, the governance of IPNU/IPPNU organization continues to improve its shortcomings in the hope of becoming a professional youth community organization. The important elements that are the focus of assistance in the governance of IPNU/IPPNU organization are reviewing the organizational structure, vision, mission, goals and work programs as well as the organization's articles of association and bylaws. Sustainability of this assistance in the long term according to the context, space and broader level, namely in coaching activities as long as required by the interested parties. This mentoring was attended by 30 participants from the IPNU–IPPNU Branch Management (PAC) of Balen District. After providing this assistance, it is hoped that participants will be able to design, plan, implement, evaluate and develop training in the future.

Abstract

This activity is a striking phenomenon and requires serious attention from various parties. To overcome this problem, the results of the activities resulted in recommendations for more responsive policy reformulation, strengthening the capacity of human resources through training, and increasing synergy and partnerships between BUMDes, the government, and the private sector. Optimizing the utilization of local potential is also the key, where BUMDes can develop businesses based on natural resources and local wisdom. The implementation of this ideal concept is expected not only to increase the economic independence of villages, but also to reduce the development gap between the eastern and western regions of Indonesia. The methods used are training and counseling methods. The result of this service activity is to formulate and implement the ideal concept for the development of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) as an economic pillar at the village level. Through an in-depth analysis of existing policies and challenges, it was found that there was a gap between government policies and practices in the field, limited capital, and low managerial capacity of BUMDes managers.
