Bhakti aims to provide a forum for international researchers on applied Society Development and Engagement to publish the original articles. The scope of Bhakti is Society Development and Engagement. Abstract

This community service activity aims to empower teachers at the Taman Pintar Lamongan Tutoring Institute in developing interesting and interactive edutainment media for the material of introducing the names of the prophets. This effort is carried out as a strategy to improve children's literacy, especially in religious education. The methods used include training, mentoring, and evaluation in creating edutainment-based media such as animated videos, educational games, and interactive books. The results of this activity show that teachers have increased understanding and skills in designing innovative learning media. The media produced is able to increase children's interest and participation in the learning process. The sustainability of this program is expected to strengthen the role of teachers in creating a fun learning environment and supporting the development of children's literacy holistically. Thus, this program contributes to improving the quality of learning in religious-based tutoring institutions.

Abstract

The development of Islamic religious knowledge learning facilities and strategies for making and developing teaching materials for each religious line in Sempu Village, Ngancar District, Kediri Regency are reviewed. Guidelines on religious knowledge are something that is greatly needed by the Sempu Village community, which is still considered to have minimal religious knowledge. This study uses a participatory action research (PAR) approach method which is one of the qualitative action research. Researchers found that several TPQ in Sempu Village only studied how to read and write the Qur'an with learning facilities that were not yet systematic, furthermore, other insights about religion were still not fulfilled, so that religious practices in everyday life were still lacking. Thus, team created a teaching material program that briefly and concisely discussed the challenges of Islamic jurisprudence, morals, and how to read the Qur'an properly and correctly. These guidebooks are distributed to every TPQ in Sempu Village to be used as a guide for the male/female teachers in teaching, with the hope that these guidebooks can provide benefits for the TPQ children and the Sempu Village community.

Abstract

This service activity aims to provide information about the development of AI in the world of education and the use of AI information technology to support learning activities. The target of the activity is teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Sidrap. The activity was carried out for 1 day with stages of preparation, problem solving, implementation and monitoring and evaluation. The focus of implementing this activity is the introduction of AI tools that are easy to use and focused on how to utilize information technology to improve teacher performance.  The results of the training on the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education at SMA Negeri 1 Sidrap went smoothly and will help create a learning environment that is more effective, efficient and responsive to the needs of students and teachers.

Abstract

This workshop activity was held with the aim of improving the abilities of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers, especially in developing learning media based on Artificial Intelligence. The participants of this workshop consisted of elementary madrasah teachers in the Pakis District, Malang Regency. This workshop was designed in several stages including the preparation stage, implementation stage, and evaluation and follow-up stages. The results of this workshop showed that at the planning stage, the community service team carried out initial coordination to identify and conduct a needs analysis with partners in this case, KKMI, Pakis, Malang. The workshop was successfully implemented on May 10, 2025 in the MI NU Sumberpasir hall, Pakis, Malang. In this workshop, activity evaluation was also carried out by distributing participant satisfaction questionnaires which showed that 95% of participants experienced an increase in knowledge and ability in developing learning media based on Artificial Intelligence.

Abstract

This Community Service may be a little different from the usual PKM activities because of the location point in the neighboring country, aiming to strengthen the learning system with a community-based approach and Learning Activities as well as strengthening religious education during Ramadan through interactive learning activities, Islamic studies, worship guidance, and Islamic character development.The sustainability of this program can be maintained by increasing cooperation between the community, educational institutions, and local government. However, there is still a lack of transparency regarding the learning program due to limited permits by some parties in Malaysia. Of course, the hope of every studio manager about the continuity of the learning process calmly and without obstacles is the desire of every manager. The evaluation results show an increase in Islamic understanding, Qur'an reading skills, increased student comprehension and active community participation in supporting their children's education.

Abstract

This service aims to provide assistance through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for students who experience broken homes at MA Al-Wathan Larangan Perreng, where students with broken home family backgrounds are found to tend to experience discipline problems, such as indiscipline, skipping behavior, and other negative behaviors in the school environment. The methodology used is Asset Based on Community Development (ABCD) which is a form of analysis to determine the potential, find strengths, and assets that can be utilized to improve the discipline of students who experience broken homes. The results of the service show that CBT is effective in helping students identify and change negative thought patterns that affect their behavior. Through the CBT therapy process, students are better able to control their emotions, increase awareness of the consequences of their actions, and develop skills in solving problems more adaptively. In addition, support from counseling teachers and the school environment are important factors in the successful implementation of CBT.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance digital literacy and pedagogical competence of English Education students at IAIN Kediri through practical training on Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in language teaching. Addressing challenges in conventional English learning and low digital integration, the program introduced AI applications such as ChatGPT, Grammarly, and Elsa Speak to improve students’ writing, speaking, and self-reflection skills. The participatory, experiential, and project-based learning approach fostered active student engagement, collaborative learning, and ethical awareness in AI use. Results showed significant improvement in students’ digital skills, pedagogical readiness, and reflective learning, alongside the emergence of a technology-savvy learning community. The program contributes to bridging the digital competence gap, preparing future English teachers for the demands of the 21st century education, and supports Indonesia’s educational transformation in the Industry 4.0 era. Abstract

This activity to investigates and get the impact of interactive health education on enhancing personal hygiene attitudes and behaviors among elementary students. Using a Participatory Action Research methodology, the study involved 25 students from grades IV to VI at SDN 2 Patuno in Wakatobi, who were chosen through purposive sampling. The intervention included counseling and direct practice. Evaluations were performed using attitude questionnaires and behavioral observations over four weeks. Results from the One Sample T-Test indicated that students initial attitudes were relatively low (mean = 2.26; p = 0.000). After the intervention, Repeated Measures ANOVA revealed a significant improvement (F = 36.410; p = 0.000). The findings confirm that education through interactive media is effective in promoting personal hygiene. Challenges included time constraints, varying student comprehension, and insufficient follow-up, though teacher support and student enthusiasm positively influenced outcomes. Sustained school, family, and health sector collaboration is essential to reinforce long-term behavior change.

Abstract

This activity aims to improve students’ skills in processing local snacks on the theme of entrepreneurship. This service activity was carried out using partisipatory action research (PAR). Researchers are directly involved in facilitating students in local snacks culinary entrepreneurship project activities. The Pancasila and Rahmatan lil 'Alamin Profile Project activities are carried out collaboratively in the school environment between students, who teachers and researchers accompany. In this project, there are also research-related activities, with direct observation and assessment of projects produced by students. The results of this service found that students’ skills in making local culinary snacks were at the level of starting to develop in the collaborative aspect and were growing in the creative aspect. This means that entrepreneurship project activities have a wedge with students’ character, fostering cooperation and imaginative characters.

Abstract

This community service initiative addresses the limited integration of local cultural content in early childhood education. The primary objective is to enhance cultural literacy among young children by empowering PAUD (early childhood education) teachers in Kecamatan Soko through the utilization of a localized cultural encyclopedia as an innovative learning medium. The method employed was a participatory approach involving socialization and training sessions, where teachers were actively engaged in utilizing and integrating the encyclopedia into their lesson plans and classroom activities. The results indicate a significant increase in teacher understanding and enthusiasm for incorporating local culture into their teaching practices. This initiative not only strengthens teachers' capacities but also fosters the development of cultural awareness and appreciation among early learners.
