Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efficiency of records management by measuring the retrieval time of administrative service archives at Mataram Hospital as an effort to improve the quality of healthcare services. Using a descriptive quantitative method with an observational approach to 50 document request transactions in April 2026, the results showed that the average time required to retrieve archives was 13.5 minutes, which still exceeds the threshold of the Standard Operating Procedure (SPO) set at a maximum of 10 minutes, with a standard fulfillment rate of only 60%. The constraint analysis revealed that this delay was triggered by limited storage capacity causing overcrowded document arrangement, a high frequency of misplaced documents (misfile) due to undisciplined use of outguides (tracers) during peak hours, and suboptimal archive room lighting. The impact of this condition directly extends queues at the administration counter and hinders the speed of both managerial and medical decision-making. As a strategic solution, this study recommends reorganizing the archive layout to be more ergonomic, conducting periodic disposal of inactive records, and accelerating the transformation toward a digital archiving system to minimize dependence on physical searching. The implementation of these solutions is expected to ensure data security, enhance patient safety through rapid information availability, and optimize the overall quality of administrative services at Mataram Hospital.

Abstract

Digital transformation in archives management at Regional General Hospitals (RSUD) is a crucial step in supporting government policies regarding electronic-based government systems and improving the quality of healthcare services. This study aims to analyze the transition process from a conventional paper-based archiving system to a paperless office ecosystem. The main focus of the study includes information technology infrastructure readiness, human resource (HR) competency in operating the hospital information system (SIMRS), and managerial obstacles encountered during the digitalization process. The methodology used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through field observations and current literature reviews. The results show that implementing digital archives significantly reduces medical record retrieval time by up to 70%, minimizes the risk of damage to physical documents due to environmental factors, and optimizes physical storage space in the hospital. However, major challenges lie in standardizing data security (cybersecurity) and data integration between service units. The study concludes that successfully moving towards a paperless office requires synergy between appropriate technology investments, strong internal regulations, and an organizational culture that adapts to digital change.

Abstract

The ability to solve mathematical word problems is an important indicator in measuring students' problem-solving skills. However, many students still make errors when solving word problems, particularly in the topics of the Greatest Common Divisor (GCD) and the Least Common Multiple (LCM). This study aims to describe the types of students' errors based on the Newman Error Analysis (NEA) framework and to describe the forms of scaffolding provided to address these errors. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving three seventh-grade students from SMP Negeri 2 Dompu, who were selected purposively based on the results of a pretest. Data were collected through written tests, in-depth interviews, documentation, and the provision of scaffolding. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that students made five types of errors according to Newman's framework: reading errors, comprehension errors, transformation errors, process skills errors, and encoding (final answer) errors. The most dominant errors occurred at the transformation and process skills stages. The implementation of scaffolding in the forms of explaining, reviewing, and restructuring was proven to help students correct their errors in solving GCD and LCM word problems. The posttest results showed an improvement in students' abilities after receiving scaffolding, indicating that this approach is effective for use in mathematics instruction. making learning more meaningful, improving students' understanding of geometric concepts, and fostering students' appreciation for regional cultural heritage.
