Abstract

University role in supporting internationalization is considered necessary to be implemented because the issue of internationalization is one of the impact of globalization, not only in the field of information technology but also in education. Brawijaya University has committed to become a world-class university through its policies to support the goal of Universitas Brawijaya become World Class University. To reach that stage, the internationalization policy adopted by UB must be truly targeted. The results of the research indicate that the assessment of the implementation of UB's internationalization policy in terms of inputs, processes and outputs indicates the inefficiency of the implementation of the policy because it has not balanced the input, process, and the results obtained, while several obstacles found in the process of Internationalisation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of effective communication training on knowledge of employees of Malang City Hospital. This research type is quantitative with experiment method. The experimental model used is one group pre-test post-test, where the employees of RSUD Malang will be given two tests, namely the pre-test and the post-test to know the effect of the training given to the improvement of employee knowledge. The results showed that effective communication training provided could encourage the improvement of employees knowledge of RSUD Malang, which was seen in the increase of the average of test result, that is from 49,37 in pre-test to 59,64 in post-test.

Abstract

The process of administering haj pilgrimage services organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs is faced with a process that is still not effective and efficient. In the process of Hajj registration, Calon Jemaah Haji (CJH) must go through four stages of the process performed in two different places. Sistem Tekhnologi dan Komputerisasi Haji Terpadu (SISKOHAT) had used as “jantung” service, which in the process has always been innovated to correct the deficiencies. This study aims to describe and analyze the public response to the quality of services provided with partnerships established between the Ministry of Religious Affairs Batu City and PT Bank BNI Syariah Batu City. The quality of the Hajj service is better perceived by the community in the presence of established partnerships and new innovations created, but the partnership has not reached the joint service stage ”satu atap”.

Abstract

The development planning of creative bind-weaving business (creative business study in Manulondo Village of Ende Regency) aims to improve the welfare and financial revenue of the region which will impact on the increase of local revenue (PAD) of Ende Regency. The focus of this research is based on the planning theory according to Tjokroamidjojo (1995) which defines planning as a thorough and continuous process of activities of planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. By using interactive data analysis method, the result of research obtained is that planning of business development of creative sub-sector of bindweaving has not run optimally. This is due to the lack of clarity of the intentions contained in the public policy and human resources apparatus that has not been adequate

Abstract

The result of preliminary study about the clinical effectiveness of RSUD Malang, the success of effective communication training in Malang Hospital is caused by the lack of motivation owned by health personnel, thus giving the influence of the decreasing of the performance of the health personnel. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of organizational communication on the performance of health personnels of RSUD Kota Malang, which is assumed to be mediated by motivation. The results showed that organizational communication had a significant positive effect on motivation (original sample = 0,434, value of TStatistics = 6,021); organizational communication has a significant positive effect on the performance of health personnel (original sample = 0.617, T-Statistics = 11.778); motivation has a significant positive effect on the performance of health personnel (original sample = 0.226, T-Statistics = 3,533); and motivation mediate between the influence of organizational communication on the performance of health personnel (Zsobel test = 3.050, value P-Value = 0.002).

Abstract

Hospital’ s document is one of the most important elements during assessment of accreditation. The report of the quality of hospital care is one of the documents which assessed by the surveyor. In RSIA Puri Bunda, specifically the nurses have problem with inaccuracy of analyze the document which can lead to take a wrong decisionThe purpose of this study to identify the differences before and after the implementation of workshop and to know the relation between knowledge with the accuracy of analyzing and writing the quality report. According to the result, it showed that there is the difference before and after the implementation of the workshop with the probability < alpha = 0, 05. Meanwhile, even though the result was not significant which is 0,8%. the influence test showed that the knowledge has influence in the accuracy of analyzing and writing the quality report. The conclusion of this study is the workshop can increase the knowledge and accuracy of analyzing and writing the quality report.

Abstract

The Objective of this research study is to examine the effect of attitude toward tax compliance on compliance pay local tax through the inttention to comply and to examine the effect of trust over government on compliance pay local tax through perception of justice. Data collected from questionnaire and analyzed with PLSbased SEM techniques with software SmartPLS version 2.0. The result of the analysis show both attitude toward tax compliance were found to be significantly on compliance pay local tax through the inttention to comply and the effect of trust over government also have a significant effect on compliance pay local tax through perception of justice.

Abstract

This paper examines model of task sharing in community based healthcare within SMARThealth program in Sidorahayu village Malang East Java Indonesia. A single case study was applied to explore task sharing model from health workers to non health workers in health screening for risks of cardiovascular disease. Indepth interviews were conducted to 10 key informants between January to May 2018. The findings show that task sharing model occurs within a health facility in which non health workers can provide services with adequate competency and quality. Responsibilities in health screening is delegated to lower level health service providers so that it can effectively reach consumers. The results sugests that task sharing model provides an alternative model for solving low number and distribution of health workers in rural areas in providing health screening for cardiovascular risks.

Abstract

The entry of online transportation phenomenon in Malang City has caused conflict to conventional transportation. This is because there is no regulation governing the phenomenon of online transportation. In fact, the role of government as a provider of public facilities for the community, including protecting their rights from influence of corporate monopoly. However, at the local government level, there is limited authority in the law. 23 of 2014 on Regional Government. Thus, local need strong legal force to resolve transportation conflicts in Malang. This study used qualitative descriptive governments method focusing on analysis of local government role in conflict resolution between conventional transportation and online transportation through Howlett and Ramesh Policy Instruments. The results of this study that the Government of Malang is more inclined towards the Compulsory Instrument by applying PM No.108 Year 2017 as the legal basis in resolving the conflict between conventional transportation and online transportation in Malang.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of classical and preceptorship training models on the competence attainment. The research used quasi experimental method, non-randomized control group pre-test and post-test design. The analysis was conducted usingdiffernt test and simple linear regression test. Results show there was a significant difference in the competence. Average achievement of competencies between the classical traing model and the preceptorship have no significant differences. The average of competence attainment of the preceptorship model was greater. Based on participants’ perceptions, classical training model has a positive but insignificant, while preceptorship training model has positive and significant effect on competency achievement. It was concluded that both classical and preceptorship model affects the enhancement of competence after training. The difference is that preceptorship model results in greater enhancement classical training model.
