Abstract

This study intends to describe the psychological dynamics by revealing more deeply about the feelings, thoughts, and behaviors experienced by female students who are victims of dating violence. This study uses a qualitative approach in a descriptive form and uses a case study technique. This study uses observation, interview and documentation techniques to understand the attitudes, views, feelings, and behavior of victims in depth. Researchers try to explore the response that appears in victims of dating violence. There were 5 participants in this study, who were obtained through the snowball sampling technique. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that each victim who experiences dating violence has different psychological dynamics, namely actions or real events that occur to participants in the study, as well as an overview of psychological dynamics from the perspective of Galtung's ABC conflict theory which includes Contradiction, Attitude and Behavior

Abstract

Correctional Families are individuals who have received a guilty verdict from the court, resulting in that person having to lose their freedom of movement to carry out their criminal term in a penitentiary or state detention center. The purpose of this study was to find out the process of self-acceptance of prisoners who received life sentences in Class 1 prisons in Semarang. The type of research used by researchers in this study is a type of qualitative research with descriptive methods. The participants in this study were two prison inmates with life sentences in class 1 prisons in Semarang. The research data was obtained by interview and observation techniques. The results of this study include three main themes, namely gratitude for the current conditions, self-confidence to develop potential and social support as a form of self-acceptance.

Abstract

The problem of verbal creativity that occurs in grade VI elementary school students often causes them to be unable to show optimal learning achievement. Supported by low interest in reading, making students experience complex problems when following the learning process at school. This study aims to determine the relationship between interest in learning and verbal creativity in grade VI elementary school students. The method used is quantitative with a correlational design. The participants of this study were grade VI students of SD Kutowinangun 8 Salatiga in the 2022/2023 school year, totaling 49 students using saturated sampling technique. Measurements used reading interest scale and verbal creativity test. The results showed a strong significant positive relationship between interest in learning and verbal creativity of grade VI students of SD Kutowinangun 8 Salatiga (r = 0.941 and sig. = 0.000). The results concluded that interest in learning is one of the strong factors related to increasing students' verbal creativity.

Abstract

Poverty, divorce, and other problems in families in Indonesia is what makes it difficult for family to provide the needs of their children. So there are adolescents who live in orphanages. New situations, as well as changes in habits, are the results from the separation of children from their families. The lack of attention quality caused by the large difference in number between the caregiver and the teenager results in adolescents experiencing greater psychological pressure compared to adolescents who do not live in orphanages. To keep struggling under this pressure, adolescents need to have resilience in dealing with all those pressure. In addition, adolescents also need to have self-acceptance in living their daily lifes, because self-acceptance is also able to help adolescents to accept their strengths and weaknesses, and other person. Therefore, this study aims to determine the correlations between self-acceptance and resilience in adolescents living in Woro Wiloso orphanage, Salatiga. The methods used in this research was quantitative with a pearson correlation design. This research used non-probability sampling technique by involving 47 participants. The data were collected by using self-acceptance and resilience(questionnaire) scale. The result of this research showed that there was a correlation between self-acceptance and resilience in adolescents who live in orphanage (r-test = 0,282 with sig. = 0,055). Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the description of work family conflict experienced by employees with working partners. To achieve the objectives of this study, the researcher uses a descriptive quantitative research method, namely by providing an overview of work family conflict among employees and working partners in terms of the general work family conflict aspect, an overview of each aspect, and also a description of the work family. conflict in terms of gender. The data collection tool used is using a scale taken from the Work Family Conflict aspect proposed by Greenhaus & Beutell (1985), namely time-based conflict, strain-based conflict, & behavior-based conflict. Based on the results of statistical analysis, it was found that. overall, work family conflict that occurs in working couples is in the low category, namely as much as 54.8%. Meanwhile, in terms of gender, it shows that women have a greater tendency to experience work family conflict than men, namely 54.6%: 37.5%. Meanwhile, the categorization based on each aspect was found in the time-based aspect in the moderate category at 46.1%, the strain-based aspect in the medium category, and the behaviorbased aspect in the low category at 53. 8%.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the psychological experiences of adolescent victims of bullying and identify effective psychological intervention strategies in addressing the psychological effects, specifically anxiety disorders, experienced by bullying victims. This study employs an analytical approach and interviews to gain a profound understanding of the psychological experiences of bullying victims, encompassing their feelings, thoughts, emotional reactions, and the link between bullying experiences and the development of anxiety disorders in adolescents. Based on the research findings, several proposed interventions with significant influence from a clinical psychology perspective include: implementing Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as the primary approach in psychological interventions, providing psychosocial support through individual and group counseling, conducting regular psychological monitoring and evaluation, and fostering collaboration with mental health service centers. These findings are expected to offer guidance in designing effective intervention strategies to assist bullying victims in overcoming the psychological impacts they encounter.

Abstract

Ayem Tentrem sering diartikan sebagai kebahagiaan. Bagi masyarakat Jawa, Ayem Tentrem dianggap sebagai standar ideal dalam menjalani kehidupannya di segala lingkup. Segala upaya akan dilakukan demi mencapai standar ini, tak terkecuali dalam lingkup keluarga. Kesepakatan seolah dibangun oleh tiap anggota keluarga Jawa untuk sama-sama saling setuju meletakkan Ayem Tentrem sebagai tujuan dalam mengarungi bahtera rumah tangga. Lalu bagaimanakah konsep Ayem Tentrem yang ada pada Keluarga Jawa? Apakah serupa dengan kebahagian yang juga sering menjadi tujuan dalam keluarga? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana konsep Ayem Tentrem dalam keluarga Jawa. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 keluarga Jawa sebagai subjek utama, 2 Significant t Others, 2 Informan dan 1 Informan ahli. Subjek utama dari masing-masing keluarga terdiri dari Ayah, Ibu, dan Anak. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Sementara, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Konsep Ayem Tentrem pada 2 subjek Keluarga Jawa dimaknai sebagai hasil dari keselarasan Tata Titi (penataan) hidup keluarga yang dibuktikan dengan adanya sikap Nrima, hubungan interpersonal yang rukun, dan Migunani Tumraping Liyan (bermanfaat bagi orang lain). Terdapat 3 Aspek yang dikembangkan dalam keluarga Ayem Tentrem pada keluarga subjek, yaitu: Obah Mosik Ing Manah (Ketentraman hati), Obah Mosik Ing Lemah (Ketentraman bumi), dan Obah Mosik Ing Gusti Allah (Keimanan pada Tuhan).

Abstract

This research aims to find out the relationship between work motivation and employee performance in the sales division at PT. X Madiun. The method used in this research uses quantitative methods with relationship test analysis. The performance scale and work motivation scale are data collection tools used in this research. The respondents involved in this research were 40 employees, whose characteristics were employees who worked at PT. In this study, researchers used total sampling as a sampling technique, because there were less than 100 respondents. Pearson product moment was used in this study to analyze how strong the relationship between these two variables is. The research results obtained are a coefficient of r = 0.780 with p = 0.000 (p < 0.05) with a positive correlation direction, meaning that there is a significant relationship between work motivation and employee performance in the sales division at PT by PT X sales division employees, the higher their performance will be. Referring to the research results, a conclusion can be drawn that in order for the sales division employees at PT X to have good performance, what needs to be done is to increase their work motivation.

Abstract

Long Distance Relationship (LDR) or long-distance dating is a common phenomenon occurring nowadays. In LDR dating, many dynamics and issues arise due to the limitations in physical contact, communication, and meeting. This research aims to explore in more depth how the picture of commitment is applied as a strategy by couples in long-distance relationships or LDRs. The method in this research uses a qualitative method by applying thematic analysis. The participants of this study involved four participants who are currently in a long-distance relationship (LDR). Data collection was carried out using interview techniques and observation. The research results show the dynamics of commitment in long-distance relationships: commitment in providing support, empathy and attention, as well as responsibility in the relationship.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the definition of maternal optimism in dealing with children who are addicted to online games. The subject in the study amounted to one person selected based on the criteria, namely mothers with children who have an online game addiction. This data collection technique uses semi-structured interviews with the Theory-Led Thematic Analysis approach. The results concluded that the subject has optimism in children who experience online game addiction based on aspects of optimism, namely the permanence aspect, which can be seen from the subject overcoming the problem of children's addiction by limiting the hours of playing the game and supervising the child's behavior in playing online games. Then the pervasiveness aspect is that the subject knows the specific cause of the child's behavior or emotions and knows why close relatives talk about the child's negative behavior or emotions from the impact of online gaming. In the personalization aspect, where the subject is involved in supervising the child, the subject has succeeded in dealing with the problem by removing games that trigger the child's negative emotions and guiding the child to convey his emotions properly.
