Abstract

In the context of basic education, multiculturalism plays an important role in shaping the character of students who are tolerant, open, and respectful of differences. This study aims to analyze the leadership strategies of multicultural-based school principals in shaping the character of students in elementary schools. The focus of the research is directed at how school principals integrate multicultural values into the learning process, extracurricular activities, and school culture. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method, where data is obtained from various literature sources such as books, scientific journals, and relevant research results. The research results show that the principal has a central role in creating an inclusive, equitable and diversity-respecting learning environment. The strategies used include integrating multicultural values into the curriculum, strengthening the role of teachers through training, developing diversity-based extracurricular activities, and establishing a school culture that fosters attitudes of tolerance and empathy. These findings underscore the importance of principal leadership as an agent of change in realizing humanistic and socially just basic education. Multicultural education in elementary schools contributes significantly to the development of students' character, who are moral, respectful of differences, and able to live harmoniously in a diverse society.

Abstract

This study analyzes the conceptual restructuring of the Islamic pedagogical systeam through an examination of the intellectual confrontation between conventional traditionalism and contemporary innovation in the thinking of three central figures in Indonesian Islamic education: KH. M. Hasyim Asy'ari, KH. Ahmad Dahlan, and Imam Zarkasyi. All three represent different but complementary epistemological currents in formulating a philosophical reconstruction of Islamic Education. M. Hasyim Asy'ari emphasizes the principles Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah as the main foundations of education. Ahmad Dahlan offered the modernization of Islamic education through the integration of religious and general knowledge, rationality, and a practical approach based on the Qur'an. Meanwhile, Imam Zarkasyi combined the strengths of tradition and modernity through the modern Gontor pesantren system, which developed an integrated curriculum, discipline, master of international languages, and professional education management. The result of the study show that the dialectic of thr three thinkers produced a progressive and adaptive reconstruction they built became an important foundation for thr development of Islamic education that is relevant to the challenges of globalization and contemporary social change.

Abstract

This study examines the administration and supervision of Islamic education in developing teaching materials based on a love curriculum in elementary schools. The love-based curriculum places the value of compassion as the foundation of learning to shape students with intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence. The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach with primary data from interviews, observations, and documentation. Findings indicate that the implementation of this curriculum improves discipline, learning motivation, and harmonious relationships among students. Supervision is carried out collaboratively and humanistically to support teacher professionalism in integrating the value of love into the learning process. Evaluation also assesses students' affective and socio-emotional aspects. Key challenges include teacher readiness, school culture, and the national evaluation system. This study concludes that the love-based curriculum is effective in building Islamic and social character in elementary education, but requires comprehensive guidance and support.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an in-depth description of the implementation of classroom management and administration at SMP Negeri 6 Banjarmasin, particularly in Class VII B under the supervision of Mrs. Tri Widia Ningsih, S.Pd. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The study focused on three main aspects: the implementation of classroom management, the execution of classroom administration, and the teacher’s role as a learning manager. The findings reveal that the teacher successfully implemented effective classroom management strategies, which include the physical arrangement of the classroom, social interaction management, and the reinforcement of student discipline. A conducive and interactive learning environment was achieved through open two-way communication between teacher and students. In terms of administration, the teacher demonstrated good competence in managing both academic and non-academic records. The use of digital technology, such as Microsoft Excel and Google Drive, served as an important innovation that enhanced efficiency and accuracy in administrative documentation. Overall, the implementation of classroom management and administration at SMP Negeri 6 Banjarmasin was effective and professional. The teacher acted as a manager, administrator, motivator, and role model for students. This research highlights the importance of collaboration among teachers, students, and the school in fostering efficient, character-based, and sustainable learning.

Abstract

This study is a literature review that aims to examine the role of humans in education from various perspectives and relevant literature sources. The focus of the study includes the contributions of individuals as educators, students, and various other supporting roles in the learning process and character development. Through critical analysis of educational theories, previous research results, and various scientific sources, this study describes how the integral role of humans shapes the quality of education and influences learning success. The results of the study show that the active role of humans is crucial to the effectiveness of education, and that the dynamics of this role continue to evolve in line with social and technological changes. This study provides a comprehensive understanding of the central function of the human role in the modern education system.

Abstract

This study is a literature review that discusses the importance of innovation in education through an analysis of various literature and previous research results. This study highlights the role of innovation as a key factor in improving the effectiveness of the learning process, developing teaching methods, and achieving better educational outcomes. In addition, this study reviews the challenges faced in implementing educational innovation and how innovation can adapt to technological developments and social needs. With a synthesis of various scientific sources, this study provides in-depth insights into the contribution of innovation in strengthening the education system and shaping an adaptive and creative generation.

Abstract

This examine aims to explain the usage of photo media in teaching Indonesian language and to examine how such media can beautify the gaining knowledge of interest of 2d-grade college students at SDIT Qurrata A’yun three Batusangkar. The research employed a descriptive qualitative technique with the Indonesian language trainer and 2nd-grade students because the research subjects. statistics had been accrued through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings display that photo media have been correctly utilized by the instructor via engaging visual displays, interactive thinking, and storytelling sports based on snap shots. using photo media become observed to boom college students’ mastering hobby, as indicated through emotions of leisure, attention, curiosity, and energetic participation at some point of the learning technique. supporting elements protected attractive visible illustrations and the suitability of the media with students’ developmental tiers, while demanding situations worried barriers in photograph length and educational time. consequently, photo media function an effective academic tool for reinforcing the mastering interest of fundamental faculty students.

Abstract

The evaluation of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum is a crucial process to ensure that the objectives of Islamic education are optimally achieved through the implementation of an effective, adaptive, and relevant curriculum that aligns with learners’ needs. This article examines various curriculum evaluation approaches used to analyze the alignment between learning objectives, instructional content, teaching methods, and learning outcomes within the context of PAI education. Employing a literature review method, this study explores evaluation models such as CIPP, Stake, and Tyler, which have been widely referenced in curriculum development. The findings indicate that PAI curriculum evaluation should ideally be conducted comprehensively, not only focusing on cognitive aspects but also incorporating assessments of learners’ spiritual, social, and emotional development. Furthermore, the study reveals that the primary challenges in implementing the PAI curriculum include limited integration of Islamic values with contemporary developmental needs and insufficient utilization of technology in the learning process. These findings carry significant implications for policymakers, curriculum developers, and educational practitioners, encouraging the strengthening of evaluation strategies, refinement of curriculum design, and enhancement of teacher competencies to foster more meaningful, contextual, and effective PAI learning.

Abstract

Educational leadership in schools is a very important factor in improving the quality of education. Effective leadership can influence teacher motivation, productivity, and performance, as well as improve student academic achievement. However, many schools still face difficulties in developing effective educational leadership. The purpose of this study is to gain a deeper understanding of educational leadership in schools. This study uses a literature review method in the form of several journals and books on leadership. The results of the study show that educational leadership must be responsive to developments and changes in the world of education. Leaders must be able to integrate technology, face global challenges, and manage policy changes wisely. A leader must also be able to collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents. The implications of this research are to improve the quality of educational leadership in schools, raise public awareness of the importance of educational leadership, and develop teachers' abilities in classroom management and teaching.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of contextual Google Slides media on students’ ecoliteracy skills in learning Fiqh for Grade X at MA Hasyimiyah. The rapid development of digital technology in education requires teachers to utilize interactive and contextual learning media that can enhance students’ understanding and environmental awareness. Google Slides, when integrated with contextual learning principles, provides visual, relevant, and real-life examples that help students connect Fiqh concepts with environmental values. This study aims to analyze the influence of contextual Google Slides media on students’ ecoliteracy skills in learning Fiqh for Grade X at MA Hasyimiyah. The rapid development of digital technology in education requires teachers to utilize interactive and contextual learning media that can enhance students’ understanding and environmental awareness. Google Slides, when integrated with contextual learning principles, provides visual, relevant, and real-life examples that help students connect Fiqh concepts with environmental values.  The findings indicate that students who were taught using contextual Google Slides showed a significant improvement in their ecoliteracy skills compared to those taught through traditional methods. The media effectively enhanced students’ understanding of Fiqh materials related to environmental ethics, cleanliness, and responsible behavior based on Islamic principles. The integration of contextual visual elements strengthened students’ ability to connect religious teachings with real-world environmental issues. In conclusion, contextual Google Slides media has a positive and significant influence on improving ecoliteracy skills in Fiqh learning. This study suggests that teachers incorporate technology-enhanced and contextualized learning media to foster deeper comprehension and environmental awareness among students. The results provide valuable insights for developing innovative instructional strategies in Islamic education.
