Abstract

This study holds to answer of how the level of professional competence of teachers in the State Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MIN) Palembang City. It is expected to be beneficial as study materials for the managers and other stakeholders. The type of this research is field research with the State Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MIN) teachers’ population of Palembang City amounted to 85 teachers. The writer collected the data through questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation study and analyzed using a descriptive statistical technique. The assessment is done by the Likert scale. The data analysis describes how much teachers' level of competence. The descriptions and categorization of data used the guidelines of tabulation data considering the minimum, maximum, interval index values, and distance intervals. The minimum index value is the minimum score multiplied by the number of questions multiplied by the number of respondents; the maximum value is the highest score times the number of questions multiplied by the number of respondents; the interval index value is the difference between the maximum index value and the minimum index value, and the distance interval is the interval divided by the desired number of levels. This study found that the professional competence of MIN teachers in Palembang city in the category was enough (average score 281.98). The only dimension of professional competence was in a good category is to utilize information and communication technologies to communicate and self-development. Meanwhile, other professional competencies: (a) mastering the materials, structures, concepts, and scientific mindsets support the subjects that are taught; (b) mastering the competency standard and basic competency of the subject/field of development that is supported; (c) developing creatively-taught learning materials; and (d) developing professionalism in a sustainable way by taking reflective action categorized fairly enough.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education teachers need to establish harmonious relationships with parents and students during the Covid-19 Pandemic even though students study from home, so communication between teachers and parents is required to supervise their children’s learning at home. This study aims to analyze the communication patterns used by Islamic Religious Education teachers and parents during the Covid-19 Pandemic and the supporting and inhibiting factors in Junior High Schools. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with structured interview techniques. Tool for organizing data with Thematic Analysis. Then the data were analyzed by the Colaizzi method. This study concludes that the communication pattern used by Islamic Religious Education teachers and parents is a secondary or two-way communication pattern. Harmonious communication between teachers and parents supports student and teacher learning success. Thus, the communication needs to be carried out intensely and continuously and involves other school members such as school principals, homeroom teachers, and students.

Abstract

This article designates the change of IAIN Raden Fatah Palembang into UIN substantial changes in the structure of scientific buildings (epistemology of science) therein. The construction the epistemology of science integration is then called “rumah ilmu” (the "house of science"). The concept of the paradigm is elaborated in four primary areas of a curriculum, namely the philosophical, material, methodological, and strategic domains. Concerning the current Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, the importance of the integrative-interconnected scientific paradigm at UIN Raden Fatah, which synergizes Islamic science and science-technology in the principle of monotheism, has contributed to the forming a unity of truth and unity of knowledge.

Abstract

Immensity and depth insights will give the color and meaning of its own, in doing the steps the construction of "capacity building" education and positioning it to be urgent. For example, like in the context of raising the teachers’ competency of. Poverty of the insight looked at a change of education paradigm; strengthen the notion that it was one of the causing factors that was resulting in reduced the quality of education in Indonesia because education agents were not able to bring it to the proper education that was in accordance with the development and the demands of the times. The Insights of education paradigm was to be something that was urgent to be understood by educators because it can give a thought to affect in running the duties and functions. Be Innovative of understanding about changes of education paradigms and to be able to determine the other education paradigm in line with the progress of science, because the paradigm that appeared because of the progress of knowledge, either because of pure or applications. Education paradigm of Indonesia first in the homeland was a public school paradigm, shift to the paradigm of the state schools, shift to the paradigm of community schools. The paradigm of community schools as a new paradigm was what will be discussed in this paper.

Abstract

The use of ICT as a medium of learning and teaching needed to realize the effectiveness and optimization of learning. But be aware that regardless of the medium used learning principles are upheld. It must be recognized that there are still many teachers who "technology illiterate" and must be improved further educational qualifications and professionalism. And that is also the problem is the low level of use of ICT in schools (digital divide) whereas ICT can support the optimization of the school, because of the potential of ICT is quite large. Application of ICT in learning PAI, if carried out by PAI teacher, it will have a positive impact on the interest of students towards subjects PAI in school. So that students in the following subjects PAI is not forced, but self-consciousness. In addition, if the PAI learning in the classroom, teachers use ICT, this will spread the "virus positive" on the teachers of other subjects, so they do the same thing

Abstract

The spread of Covid-19 has had a significant impact on education, especially in the field of religion. The purpose of this study was to see how the pandemic affected the efforts of Ahmad Dahlan University Yogyakarta to increase student religiosity. The participants in this study were eight students and university officials from Ahmad Dahlan University in Yogyakarta’s PAI Study Program. Purposive sampling was used as a technique for selecting study subjects. This study used an in-depth interview approach through an interview guide that had been made to collect data. Data analysis included stages such as grouping relevant themes or meanings from participant responses, describing textually and structurally, and fundamentally describing all important meanings into a complete picture of the phenomenological study findings experienced by participants. According to the findings, the Covid-19 pandemic had an effect on student religiosity. First, students’ religious spirit and motivation were diminished. Second, limited activities contribute to ennui among students. Third, the institution was working to develop policies and technological guidelines for the entire academic community’s activities. In addition, there was also optimization of social media for learning and strengthening religious activities through the campus’ official media channels.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat gerakan literasi sekolah dasar di SD Negeri 1 dan 2 Desa Serigeni Baru serta SD Negeri 2 Desa Teloko Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Analisis data dilakukan sejak pengumpulan data sampai data ditulis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tradisi literasi di tiga SD tersebut masih sangat rendah. Hal ini disebabkan sarana dan prasarana perpustakaan dan koleksi buku tidak tersedia. Karena itu, untuk peran aktif Pemerintah Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir untuk memfasilitasi literasi anak didik dengan menyiapkan sarana dan prasarana perpustakaan yang layak dan representatif.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas Problem Posing dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari empat langkah kesatuan yang dilakukan secara berulang, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan problem posing, aktivitas belajar mengalami peningkatan yang berdampak pada hasil belajar/prestasi siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi peningkatan mutu layanan perpustakaan di MAN 3 Palembang dan menganalisis karakteristik strategi peningkatan mutu layanan perpustakaan di MAN 3 Palembang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, adapun yang menjadi sumber primer dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 3 orang, yakni kepala perpustakaan, dua orang pengelola perpustakaan. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan metode analisis mengunakan Model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari tiga tahapkan yaitu: reduksi data, tampilan data, dan gambar kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, maka untuk strategi peningkatan mutu layanan perpustakaan di MAN 3 Palembang ada lima strategi yang dilakukan, yaitu; Realiabilitas, memberikan layanan perpustakaan sesuai dengan SOP perpustakaan. Daya tangggap, merespon permintaan pemustaka. Jaminan, akses layanan dengan mudah. Empati, pengelola perpustakaan berusaha berpikir untuk bisa memahami kebutuhan pemustaka. Bukti fisik, menata dan merawat sarana prasarana agar suasana nyaman. Ciri dari strategi peningkatan mutu layanan perpustakaan di MAN 3 Palembang, yaitu: Pertama, Fokus dari strategi peningkatan mutu layanan perpustakaan adalah pengembangan koleksi, promosi layanan dan buku baru. Kedua, Keunikan pada program book lover, program promosi, layanan infak buku, dan layanan pendampingan diperuntukkan kepada siswa yang akan mengikuti olimpiade dan perlombaan di luar sekolah. Ketiga, perpustakaan memiliki nama Baitul Hikmah dan slogan-slogan yang menarik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana membangun pengawasan yang berkelanjutan di bidang pendidikan. Adapun dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan, sehingga hanya melihat tinjauan berdasarkan teori-teori yang ada. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pembinaan dan pengembangan profesi guru merupakan hal yang sangat penting, karena akan berdampak pada mutu sekolah/madrasah, akan tetapi perlu diperhatikan usaha pembinaan dan pengembangan kompetensi tenaga pendidik hendaknya diikuti oleh peran serta pemerintah pusat maupun pemerintah daerah serta harus didukung oleh stakeholder seperti masyarakat. Selain itu, harus adanya motivasi kerja guru, menerapkan manajemen terbuka, penerapan deskripsi pekerjaan dengan tugas dan fungsi yang jelas, menerapkan hubungan vertikal ke bawah, pemetaan program dan kegiatan peningkatan motivasi kerja, pengawasan yang berkelanjutan dan menyeluruh, dan evaluasi.
