Abstract

This research discusses about collaboration between teachers and parents to improve student learning outcomes in class 1 B of MIS Al-Hikmah Sidang for the 2022- 2023 academic year. This research has two objectives, namely: 1) To find out how teachers and parents collaborate to improve student learning outcomes in class 1 B of MIS Al-Hikmah Sidang for the 2022-2023 academic year; 2) To find out student learning outcomes from collaboration between teachers and parents of class 1 B MIS Al-Hikmah Sidang for the 2022-2023 school year. This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive research type. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The data validity checking technique uses triangulation and member check. The research results show that: 1) Student learning outcomes from collaboration between teachers and parents in class 1 B of MIS Al-Hikmah Sidang can be seen from three aspects, namely: cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. 2) Forms of collaboration between teachers and parents to improve student learning outcomes in class 1 B MIS Al-Hikmah Sidang consisting of: a) parenting, b) communication, c) volunteering, d) studying at home, e) joint decision making, f ) collaborating with the community, g) home visits.

Abstract

Ibnul Qayyim Rahimahullah revealed that teaching children the sentence of monotheism is done when the child begins to interact with the surrounding environment. Since this is when children begin to hear words and see movements, in accordance with the characteristics of early childhood, namely great imitators, it is by seeing and hearing that children will begin to imitate without being ordered. Children should be taught the sentence La ilaha illallah as the first sentence that children can say fluently. Monotheism is the basis for humans in worship, which is why children are taught from an early age about the oneness of Allah, rububiyah, uluhiyah, as well as asthma and the attributes of Allah. The application of monotheism in early childhood can actually be given since the child is still in the womb. This is believed by Zakiah Drajad who said that the basic pattern in implementing monotheism education as a child's character formation can be done by parents when the child is in the womb by inviting them to communicate gently, reading verses from the Koran which can help development. child's brain.

Abstract

This article discusses the evolution of the Islamic education curriculum from classical to modern, and changes in the curriculum in the context of teaching and conveying knowledge in Islamic education. In the classical style, the educational curriculum focuses on the Koran, hadith, fiqh, and other religious sciences, which are taught in madrasas and mosques. Islamic education is the natural center of religious education. During the growth of Islamic civilization, the curriculum was driven by rational sciences, for example, mathematics, astronomy, medicine, philosophy. It is becoming more holistic and diversified. In the colonial period, Islamic education collided with secular education, which was centered on Western science. Nowadays, after independence, the reform education curriculum combines religious and general knowledge, educating modern humans. Globalized, the Islamic education curriculum seeks to overcome apologetics and the domination of other sciences to produce productive Muslims who apply science to the divine. This article discusses the opportunities and challenges of today's curriculum in the digital era, and the role of education in empowering strong and intelligent people.

Abstract

The history of education in Indonesia has experienced very significant movements in society. Education is not only considered a necessity to fulfill people's rights, but has become a lifestyle for the people. The aim of the research is to find out the presence of Islamic education and educational institutions in pre-independence Indonesia. This research uses the library research method with a historical analysis type of research. The data collection method uses tracking historical literature sources from books and videos on the history of education in Indonesia. Data search uses library research by collecting articles related to this title from various sources and analyzed using content analysis. The research results confirm that pre- independence Islamic education started from Islamic education during the Dutch and Japanese era. This research contributes to the study of Islamic education in Indonesia, especially regarding the development of independent Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia.

Abstract

The journey of Islamic education has always been in line with the various periods in the history of Islam itself. One of them is the development of education during the Umayyad Daulah in Andalusia. The purpose of this research is to find out the education system during the Umayyad period and its relation to Islamic education today. This type of research is librabry research or literature study sourced from literature in the form of journal articles, books, theses, and other sources. Literature in the form of journal articles, books, theses that discuss the education system during the Umayyad period. The results obtained from this study show that the education system during the Umayyad Dynasty had a good education system. The education system during the Umayyad Dynasty has a significant relevance to the contemporary era, especially in a holistic approach. The results obtained from this study indicate that the education system during the Umayyad Dynasty had significant relevance to the contemporary era, especially in the holistic and inclusive approaches applied.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the fact that Al-Islah Islamic High School, Bukittinggi, found that students were less interested in learning Arabic, especially in implementing the Bible. This is because teachers still use conventional models and methods in implementing learning, besides that teachers have not yet innovated and varied in developing learning media. So by looking at this, the researcher intends to use relevant media that can increase students' enthusiasm and interest by using scrapbooks. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with data collection in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. Then the data is processed by data reduction, triangulation and then conclusions are drawn. The conclusion of this research is that the application of scrapbook media is able to increase students' interest in the Maharah Kitabah because of the attractiveness of the creativity used in this learning.

Abstract

This study discusses the values of education during the Khulafaur Rashidin period and its relevance to contemporary education. The leadership period of Abu Bakr, Umar bin Khattab, Uthman bin Affan, and Ali bin Abi Talib marked an important period in the development of Islamic education, which emphasised character building, intellectual, spiritual, and moral development holistically. Principles such as equality, deliberation and tolerance became the foundation of the education system during that time. In the context of modern education faced with the challenges of globalisation and technological advancement, these values remain relevant and can be adapted to form a generation that is critical, has integrity, and socially concerned. This research uses a literature study method with content analysis to explore the historical relevance and implementation of these values in today's education system, resulting in an educational approach that is transformative and responsive to the needs of the times.

Abstract

Anxiety is a problem experienced by many people, both teenagers, adults and children. Anxiety has various causes, symptoms, and types. This research aims to recognize symptoms of anxiety in society and provide an understanding of how to identify these symptoms so that people can recognize when to seek professional help. This research is important to reduce the stigma of mental health problems and encourage people to be proactive in taking care of themselves. Educational steps such as outreach and training can help increase public understanding of anxiety symptoms. It is hoped that this research can make a positive contribution to changing people's attitudes and behavior regarding mental health.

Abstract

Vocational high school students require several skills that will be utilized when they complete their studies in school. One of the desired skills is the ability to draw construction using the AutoCAD program. The ultimate skill expected from students is the capability to create construction drawings in the form of 2-D models. The primary focus of this research is to determine the extent to which AutoCAD can serve as an eflective learning tool in developing the construction drawing competence of vocational high school students. This study holds practical implications for teachers and educational institutions in vocational high schools by emphasizing the importance of integrating technology such as AutoCAD into the curriculum to prepare students with relevant and necessary skills for the construction industry. Consequently, the findings of this research can provide concrete guidance for the development of more eflective learning strategies at the vocational high school level.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and develop a relevant Christian leadership model for youth in the contemporary context. By integrating traditional Christian elements with a profound understanding of the characteristics and aspirations of the younger generation, this study explores ways in which leadership models can be adapted to respond to the challenges and needs of today's youth. The research methodology involves literature analysis and a survey among Christian youth. The findings highlight the importance of principles such as servant leadership, social justice, and empowerment in shaping a leadership model that can motivate, guide, and empower young people. The research conclusion oflers an in-depth perspective on how Christian leadership models can be relevant and eflective in developing impactful leadership amidst contemporary changes. The practical implications of this research contribute to the development of leadership models that meet the demands of the times and motivate Christian youth to actively engage in service and leadership in the evolving societal context.
