Abstract

This research aims to develop learning media based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) to improve students' abilities in solving mathematical problems. This research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with four stages: definition, design, development and dissemination. The results of this research show that PBL-based E- LKPD learning media can improve students' analysis and synthesis skills in solving complex mathematical problems. Apart from that, this media can also increase students' motivation and interest in learning as well as learning eflectiveness. In synthesis, this research shows that the development of PBL-based learning media can help improve students' abilities in critical thinking and analysis and improve learning outcomes.

Abstract

Class V students at SDI Utaseko often experience difficulties in learning mathematics, especially in understanding basic concepts such as number operations, fractions and geometry. Factors that influence this difficulty include low motivation to learn, limitations in varied learning methods, and lack of support from the surrounding environment. To help students overcome these difficulties, there needs to be a more interactive learning approach and learning support that involves the active role of parents. Fifth grade students at SDI Utaseko often experience difficulties in learning mathematics, especially in basic concepts such as number operations, fractions and geometry. This difficulty is influenced by several factors, including low learning motivation, limited variety of learning methods, and lack of support from the environment. It is hoped that a more interactive learning approach and support from parents can help students overcome difficulties in learning mathematics. Observation results show that the majority of students have difficulty understanding basic mathematical concepts, such as multiplication, division, fractions, whole numbers. Apart from that, it is still difficult to understand the basic concepts of perimeter and area of flat shapes and geometric shapes

Abstract

Currently, the world is undergoing a shift to the age of society 5.0, where all aspects of human life depend on information technology. The paradigm of education has changed in the era of society 5,0, which is centered on the creation of knowledge and the innovative use of knowledge. Students are required to have critical thinking skills, communication, collaboration, creativity, adaptive skills, and technological skills. Therefore, to address the technological challenges of learning models also undergo increases. One of them with project-based learning is a learning model that prioritizes students as subjects or centres of learning. Students are called student centers and teachers are called facilitators. In this learning, the ultimate goal to be achieved is to be able to produce a real product. The aim of this research is to identify concepts and analyze the impact of Project Based Learning (PBP) on the development of creativity and collaborative skills. This research is expected to be motivating in learning. This research is qualitative descriptive research using the methodology of literary study. Research results show that student creativity is significantly influenced by project- based learning. Project-based learning teaches students to think luwes, think creative, innovate, collaborative, evaluative, and communication skills.

Abstract

The progress of a country is very dependent on the progress of its education (including Islamic education), and education is closely related to the use of approaches and methods used during the teaching and learning process. Approaches and methods should be mastered by a teacher in order to achieve the goals that have been set. The use of approaches and methods that are appropriate and appropriate to the subject matter as well as the existing situation and conditions will lead students to mastery of the expected lesson content. The importance of approaches and methods in education is so important that educators are required to be professional in developing these approaches and methods. Educators must know the advantages and disadvantages of each approach and method that will be used and determine the most appropriate choice so that students are more active and critical in the learning process. And the most important thing is that with this approach and method, students reach their desired goals.

Abstract

As time goes by, education becomes important and necessary to produce a generation that is superior and capable in skills. In particular, development in vocational education continues to be carried out in order to produce high quality human resources. This research aims to describe a literature review regarding the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) in land measurement techniques in vocational schools. This learning model aims to improve students' critical thinking skills in land measurement engineering material. The research method used is descriptive analysis with a literature review approach by reviewing and concluding articles from journals and books. The use of Problem Based Learning (PBL) in learning is considered to be able to help students to solve problems that exist in the real world later.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how Islamic education influences the transformation of society. The research technique is library research. One of the strategies and frameworks for improving human life in all areas of life is education. Islam, a religion that is full of compassion for all living things, is very aware of the state of society. The establishment of Arab society by the Prophet Muhammad SAW is shown by historical evidence. Arab society then continued to develop until Islam spread globally. Since education is one of the most effective ways to improve human growth, the results of this study indicate that Islam uses it to build society.

Abstract

The development of children's psychic aspects plays an important role in influencing their learning process. This study aims to investigate the relationship between the development of children's morality, emotions/feelings, and religion with their learning abilities. Good child morality can shape positive behaviour that supports a conducive learning environment. Healthy emotional development helps children manage stress and anxiety, thus improving concentration and problem-solving abilities. In addition, religious aspects offer ethical and spiritual values that can strengthen internal motivation and the spirit of learning. Through a comprehensive literature analysis of various research and scientific writings, it was found that these three aspects are interrelated and significantly influence children's academic achievement. By understanding this relationship, parents, educators, and education policy makers can design more effective strategies in supporting children's holistic development, thus maximising their learning potential.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of teachers’ roles in learning evaluation on elementary school students’ academic achievement. Evaluation is a crucial component of the learning process, serving as a tool to measure learning objectives and as a basis for decision-making in improving educational quality. Teachers play a vital role in determining the form, timing, and method of evaluation. The main issue explored in this research is the extent to which teacher involvement in learning evaluation affects students' academic performance. The research uses a descriptive quantitative approach with data collection techniques such as questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that teachers who are actively and systematically involved in the evaluation process can significantly improve students’ learning outcomes. Therefore, enhancing teachers’ competence in conducting evaluations is essential to support student success in elementary education.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and obtain information related to the mantra of the oil pouring tradition in the Sambas Malay community and its relevance to learning Indonesian. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The data validity techniques used are source triangulation and member check. The results of the study concluded that: The implementation of the oil pouring tradition is carried out at the age of seven months of pregnancy of the pregnant mother. In addition, the implementation of this oil pouring tradition is also beneficial for the mother and her baby, namely getting safety and smoothness during childbirth. The mantra in the oil pouring tradition of the Malay community has a special meaning, including. Bekasai is interpreted as a term of cleansing, where in this case a person's entire body is smeared with kasai (rice that has been ground), aek tolak balla can be interpreted as a term of request to God to be kept away from various kinds of punishments and kept away from bad luck, pouring oil is interpreted as showing the hope to always remember and maintain the heritage of ancestors, bepapas can be interpreted as asking for protection and cleansing from all forms of evil, bad luck, and disaster, bassi banang means a form of prayer or request to restore or return a person's strength and condition to be stable and strong.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the effect of project based learning on Indonesian language learning outcomes for class IV students at SDN 20 Makrampai for the 2023-2024 academic year. This research uses associative research with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques use indirect communication techniques, namely using questionnaires and documentation techniques. The population in this study were all class IV students at SDN 20 Makrampai, totaling 27 students. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis and simple linear regression analysis. The research results show that; 1) Description of project based learning in Indonesian language lessons in class IV SDN 20 Makrampai based on the assessment results regarding project based learning is at a percentage of 75.29%. This indicates that project based learning is in the very good category; 2) Description of Indonesian language learning outcomes for students in class IV SDN 20 Makrampai based on daily test score data collected using documentation instruments, namely with a percentage of 41.11%. This indicates that the learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 20 Makrampai are in the sufficient category; and 3) There is a significant influence between project based learning on Indonesian language learning outcomes for class IV students at SDN 20 Makrampai because the obtained value is sig = 0.037, meaning Sig < the significant criterion of 0.05. Thus, project based learning has an influence on Indonesian language learning outcomes for class IV students at SDN 20 Makrampai, namely 16.3% is the contribution of project based learning to Indonesian language learning outcomes, while the remaining 83.7% is influenced by other factors.
