Abstract

Utilizing a project-based learning model for critical thinking is based on a constructivism philosophy so as to enable students to broaden their knowledge in improving their critical thinking skills through real-world experiences. One of the current innovations in the field of education in response to technological advances is the introduction of e-learning-based learning materials which are considered effective and interesting, especially when the assessment results are already available for taking exams. The quizizz platform is a game-style application that helps educators create materials and assessments during classroom learning. The problems explored in this research use the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model based on local wisdom by using Quizizz to increase the critical thinking power of students at Musamus University (Unmus), Merauke. This study uses two classes. This means that class A is treated as an experimental class and is given a project learning model (PjBL) based on local wisdom by utilizing the Quizizz platform, and class B is treated as a control class which is treated with a direct learning model. The population of this study were all 235 first semester students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program at Musamus University, which consisted of 9 classes. This type of research is quasi-experimental and uses a non-equivalent design with the experimental and control groups. Sampling was carried out by probabilistic random sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out by pretest and posttest. This technique is used to determine students' initial abilities before and after treatment. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, which is calculated based on the average of each group. The analysis hypothesis test used the normality and homogeneity tests of the data, while the hypothesis test was carried out by one party t test. The results of this study indicate that the learning process in the experimental class has a greater impact on improving students' critical thinking skills compared to using the direct learning model in the control class.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) program at SMP Negeri 1 Cilimus-Kuningan. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that the School Literacy Movement has been well implemented. The School Literacy Movement is carried out by giving students 15 minutes before class to read various types of reading from books, magazines, newspapers, or the internet. After that, students were randomly asked to report their reading results in front of the class. This effort was made by the school in supporting the School Literacy Movement. By implementing the School Literacy Movement, students' interest in reading will increase.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) learning model on biology education in Indonesia. The method used in this study is a literature review to analyze the impact of the STEAM learning model. Data collection techniques involve documentation by searching relevant journals on this topic through Google Scholar, covering the past 5 years from 2019 to 2023. The analysis of the articles shows that the results of 10 articles prove that implementing the STEAM model in biology education positively influences students' critical thinking skills, creative thinking abilities, and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the implementation of STEM Project in the teaching proses of science and mathematics for preschool children in Cental Aceh. This study also found out the differences STEM projects implementation based on demographic factors. There were 175 respondents randomly randomly selected from three regions in Central Aceh. This study used quantitative opproach with two types analysis descriptive and inferential. The questionnaire consisted of 74 items and distributed to kindergartens. The conceptual framework was been built based on Vandel Logic Model et al., (2014), which consisted of eight domains of STEM Project (general, human, science, animal science, environment poll, numerical, numbers, geometric, and quantum mathematical. The findings of the questionnaire descriptive analysis ashowed that the overall domain of the STEM project had a mean mean score of general domain (m = 304) followed by quantity mathematics (m = 2.95), mathematics number (m = 2.89), animal science (m = 2.85 ), geometric mathematics (m = 2.85), environmental science (m = 2.81), science (m = 2.81), and human sciences (m = 2.71) where respondents are unsure about implementing STEM project in the kindergarten. Thuse for the inferesial analisis t – test determined that there the findings show that there was no significant difference in the comparison of the STEM project implementation differences except for the implementation of STEM projects based on age, education level and respondents' income. Lastly, the researcher suggested that in the science mathematics could develop children multiple intelegences

Abstract

This journal of Educational Psychology discusses the condition of education from the point of view of retired teachers. This study was conducted to determine the views and experiences of retired teachers on the current state of Education. The method used is a structured interview with 10 teachers who have retired. The results showed that retired teachers have a diverse view of the current state of Education. Some teachers feel that education today is better compared to the past, but most teachers feel that education today is in decline. Retired teachers also revealed some problems in education today, such as lack of quality teachers, lack of motivation of students, and lack of government attention to education. This study provides a clear picture of the views and experiences of retired teachers on the current state of education, so that it can be a reference for related parties to improve the quality of education in the future.

Abstract

This research explores the pivotal role of collaboration between parents and teachers at GTT SLBN 1 Palangka Raya in Central Kalimantan, in supporting the development of children with dis/abilities. The primary focus is on analyzing effective collaborative strategies to create an inclusive learning environment, enabling children to optimize their potential. Through a qualitative approach, the study investigates the experiences of parents and teachers, as well as factors that facilitate or hinder successful collaboration. The anticipated outcomes aim to provide additional insights to enhance the quality of inclusive education for children with dis/abilities.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on Learning Outcomes, Critical Thinking Skills, and Problem- Solving Abilities in students' biology education. The data collection technique used is a literature review method. The method employed in this study is a literature review to analyze the impact of the PBL model. Data is collected through documentation by searching relevant journals on this topic via Google Scholar, covering the past 5 years from 2019 to 2023. Based on the analysis of 10 articles, it is found that the implementation of the PBL learning model has a positive influence on students' 4C skills.

Abstract

Physical fitness related to a student is an important aspect that must be maintained. To maintain physical fitness, students are required to be able to maintain their fitness by exercising regularly and getting sufficient quality and quantity of food. That way, students will have a high level of physical fitness and can use their thoughts and energy to be enthusiastic about activities at school. A good level of physical fitness is needed by every student. To find out whether a student's level of physical fitness meets the standards, a test needs to be carried out, namely using the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test (TKJI) method. The aim of this research was to determine the level of physical fitness of class XII MIPA 1 Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Landak Landak Regency students. The type of research used is survey research. The location of this research is Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Landak, Landak Regency. The population in this study was all 27 class XII MIPA 1 students. The sampling technique is to use cluster sampling. The sample in this research was 20 class XII MIPA 1 students.

Abstract

This research is about the role of the Akidah Akhlak teacher in fostering student morals at MTs Nurul Hidayah Kota Raja, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. In connection with that, the background of this research is that there are some students when studying they still like to talk to their friends next to them, noisy in class, there are those who like to go in and out of class and there are still some students who speak dirty words. So that the behavior slightly interferes with the learning process. The formulation of the problems studied are: (1) what is the role of the Aqidah Akhlak teacher in fostering student morals. (2) how are the factors that influence in fostering student morals. (3) what is the teacher's strategy of Akidah Akhlak in fostering student morals. The aims of this study were: (1) to find out the role of the Aqidah Akhlak teacher in fostering student morals. (2) to find out the factors that influence the development of student morals. (3) to find out the teacher's strategy Akidah Akhlak in fostering student morals. The subjects in the study were 1 teacher of the Aqidah Akhlak subject at MTs Nurul Hidayah Kota Raja, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. While the object of this research is about the role of the Akidah Akhlak teacher in fostering student morals at MTs Nurul Hidayah Kota Raja, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. To obtain the data above, researchers used data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentaries. Data is processed using data collection, data reduction, data display (data presentation) and data verification (conclusion) techniques. The results of this study found that: (1) the role of the Akidah Akhlak teacher in fostering student morals, namely having the role of the teacher as a guide, the teacher as a motivator, the teacher as a facilitator, the teacher as a learning resource, the teacher as a manager, the teacher as a demonstrator, the teacher as an evaluator, and teacher as a mediator. (2) the factors that influence the development of student morals are internal factors (inside students) which are caused by the nature or habits of students in behavior, while external factors (from outside the student's self), namely from the family environment, social environment or student association . (3) the teacher's strategy in fostering student morals is by fostering and directing students, using a persuasive approach, collaborating with counseling teachers, motivating students, and instilling positive habits.

Abstract

The aim is to examine Al-Kind's ideas related to Islamic education, his ideas and the implications of his ideas for contemporary Islamic education. In this study, the author uses qualitative research through a literature research approach, namely. Research conducted by collecting information and data from various library materials, such as reference books, previous similar research results, articles and various magazines. This study uses one major source of Al-Kindi: The Philosopher Of The Arabs by George N. Atiyeh and translated by Kasidjo Djojosuwarno. While secondary sources come from 20 books and 11 scientific publications related to Al- Kindi's thought. This research analyzes Al-kind's ideas about God, religion and philosophy, soul and mind, then analyzes these ideas to find their relevance in contemporary Islamic education. The results of this study show that the importance of Al-kindi thought in Islamic education today is seen in the design of Islamic curriculum or learning materials that are in accordance with Al-kindi divine thinking, 21st century learning, such as KMA No. 183 According to philosophical and religious thought, the purpose of Islamic education is in line with the thinking of the soul, and the qualification standards of graduates are in accordance with the thinking of the mind.
