Abstract

The science of education always develops with the times. Therefore, the education system must be changed. Describing the results of the study, the researcher offers Muhammad "Abduh's" perspective to overcome the problem by reforming Islamic education to reduce the differences between the two education systems. A proper and progressive attitude is to change the purpose of education to suit the times. In connection with the teachings of the Prophet of Allah, Islamic education today must harmonize the science of the world and the Hereafter. By working together, both parties can produce cadres who based on divine values can find and solve world problems. The right attitude is to update educational goals to adjust to the times, because each solution will be outdated and require new solutions.

Abstract

Christian Religious Education plays a crucial role in shaping the character of individuals and society. Amidst diverse religious interpretations, instilling values of religious moderation becomes essential in the context of Christian Religious Education. This abstract outlines eflorts to integrate the values of religious moderation into Christian Religious Education as a means to promote a balanced and tolerant understanding of diflering beliefs. The research elaborates on the concept of religious moderation within the framework of Christianity and explores various methods that can be employed in teaching Christian Religious Education to promote values of religious moderation. Educational approaches such as case-based teaching, interfaith dialogues, and the introduction of inclusive theological thinking serve as eflective means to cultivate a moderate understanding of Christianity. Implementing these methods will aid students in developing critical thinking skills, respecting diflerences, and understanding the complexity of religious pluralism. Furthermore, the teaching of values of religious moderation also requires the involvement of the church community. The church, as a social institution, can play a role in organizing activities that support a moderate understanding of Christianity, such as seminars, workshops, and interfaith gatherings. Through collaboration between schools and the church community, the cultivation of values of religious moderation can become an integral part of Christian Religious Education. The results of this research indicate that instilling values of religious moderation in Christian Religious Education is not only relevant for fostering a more balanced religious understanding but also for promoting peace, tolerance, and interfaith cooperation in an increasingly pluralistic society. Thus, the integration of values of religious moderation into Christian Religious Education emerges as a vital step in preparing the younger generation to act as positive agents of change in building a more harmonious and inclusive society.

Abstract

Multicultural education for the Indonesian people is part of Indonesia's cultural diversity. If managed well, it will be able to form a strong Indonesian national character. Indonesia is one of the largest multicultural countries in the world. Multicultural education has a contribution to the success of character-based education policies which can be the glue of the nation's culture. For this reason, multicultural education is something that is very important to implement in education in Indonesia because multicultural education can function as an alternative means of conflict resolution. Methodologically, this research is a type of library research. The results of this research are the nature of multiculturalism in Islamic education which functions to guide and direct humanity to be able to carry out orders or mandates from Allah, namely carrying out the task of living on earth as abdullah, who must obey every rule and will of Allah.

Abstract

The drill method is one of the methods that is known to be the most effective in the teaching and learning process so that it can correct mistakes in reading the Qur'an using the drill method when compared to other methods, such as the demonstration method or the discussion method. This study suggests the application of the drill method in learning to read the quran in Sungai Kudung Village, Padang Batung District, Hulu Sungai Selatan District. This study aims to determine the application of the drill method in learning to read the quran in Sungai Kudung Village, Padang Batung District, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency and the factors that influence it. This research is a field research using a qualitative approach. The subject is 1 teacher or teacher/supervisor who teaches in the village of Sungai Kudung, Padang Batung sub-district. The object is the application of the drill method in learning to read the quran in Sungai Kudung Village, Padang Batung District, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency and the factors that influence it. Methods in this study observation, interviews, and documentation used in collecting data. Data editing, data classification, and data collection are the methods used in data processing. The results of this study are as follows: The application of the drill method in learning to read the quran in Sungai Kudung Village, Padang Batung District, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency has gone well, while there are 3 stages in this drill method, namely the initial, core and final stages. . Factors that influence include teachers, recitation mothers, a conducive atmosphere and infrastructure. As for the inhibiting factors in the implementation of the use of the drill method on reciting the Qur'an in the village of Sungai Kudung, namely the difference in the educational background of the recitation mothers and the lack of time at home to repeat reading it at home due to their busy schedules.

Abstract

Each individual conducts social interaction with his environment, children make adjustments to speech styles, appearance styles and even imitate personalities to peers in the surrounding environment. This study used quantitative descriptive method. To determine the influence of peers in adolescent social behavior, especially in grade XI students of SMAN 21 Medan. Friendship factors that influence adolescent social behavior are the first to be influenced by peer friendship, where the results of research on peer influence on adolescent social behavior are 90.6%. Then the second because they have the same hobby by 56.3% and the last because they have different tastes only by 15.6%. The conclusion that researchers can draw in this study is the friendship factor that influences adolescent social behavior due to peer friendship where the results of the study amounted to 90.6%.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the levels of professionalism and creativity among Christian Religious Education teachers in facing the disruptions that arise in the Society 5.0 era. The Society 5.0 era is characterized by rapid technological advancements that reshape social, economic, and educational paradigms. Disruption, in this context, refers to profound changes in how students learn and interact with information, as well as shifts in values and societal demands regarding Christian Religious Education. This research will employ qualitative research methods, using data collection techniques such as document analysis of curriculum materials, teaching content, and strategies employed by the teachers. Additionally, observations and experiences related to the disruptions in the current era will be analyzed. The outcomes of this research are expected to provide a deeper understanding of how the professionalism and creativity of Christian Religious Education teachers can help address the challenges posed by disruptions in the Society 5.0 era. Furthermore, this research is anticipated to ofler recommendations for the development of curricula and teacher training programs that are more adaptive to the constantly evolving educational environment. Consequently, the results of this study are expected to make a positive contribution to enhancing the quality of Christian Religious Education in the Society 5.0 era.

Abstract

Effective learning is the main goal in education. Educators are constantly looking for ways to enhance students` learning experiences so they can achieve optimal result. In the increasingly advanced digital era, the use psychological tools has become an attractive approach in maximizing effective learning. This article examines the role of psychological tools in enhancing students` learning experiences and how they can be used to achieve effective learnig. This article begins by explaining the importance of positive learning experiences in influencing student motivation and engagement. Next, we identify several psychological tools than can be used to enrich learning experiences, such as social modeling, appropriate goal setting, positive reinforcement, and the use of variety in learning. In addition, this article highlights the use of technology and digital tools to maximize effective learning examples include the use of interactive media, simulations, and educational games based on psychological principles such as problem-based learning, cooperative learning, and discovery-based learning. Next, we explain how psychological tools can be used to enhance student understanding through effective metacognition settings, such as the use of strategies of self-monitoring, reflection, and problem solving, we also highlight the importance of independent learning in maximizing student learning experiences and how psychology tools can support this. This article serves as a resource for educators, curriculum developers, and education practitioners interested in using psychological tools to enhance students` learning experiences. By understanding and applying relevant psychological principles, educators can create learning environments that motivate, challenge and maximize effective learning.

Abstract

The word guessing game media is a game that is able to cultivate students' memories and cohesiveness among students in groups. The purpose of this study was to determine the development of charades media, the feasibility of charades media, and students' responses to charades media. This research uses cooperative learning method. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Denpasar in class X BDPM 1 which was tested on students. The research used qualitative and quantitative data collection methods and the results of the data obtained used Likert and Guttman scale scores. From the results of the study, it shows that the percentage of material experts obtained is 87% and media experts is 88%. From the questionnaire that was tested on 20 students, it was 96.5%. It can be concluded that the word guessing game media is appropriate to be used as a medium of learning in art and culture material.

Abstract

Learning motivation plays a crucial role in all aspects of education. Therefore, this research aims to determine the impact of understanding the Word of God on students' learning motivation within the context of a Theological College. The Word of God holds a key role in cultivating students' learning motivation, as it is understood as the voice of God. The Word of God is also used for educating in truth, rebuking, and improving the lives of every individual. The objectives of this study are to understand the influence of understanding the Word of God on learning motivation, to determine the significance between learning motivation and student achievement in the Theological College environment, and to explore the influence of students' understanding of the Word of God on the improvement of learning quality within the Theological College. This research utilizes a qualitative method with a literature review approach. The method not only mentions the research itself but also includes the subjects/objects and analysis. The study results indicate that students who rely on the Word of God will experience an impact on their learning motivation and achievement. Therefore, to enhance the quality of Theological students' learning motivation, students must have a good ability to rely on the Word of God to create a compelling and optimal learning atmosphere, thus improving the quality of education in the Theological College.

Abstract

This title was raised to find out the implications of using the Mind Map Method and Lecture Method on the of Class VII Students at SMP 2 Makale, Tana Toraja. Learning is a process that involves carrying out activities and experiencing, remembering, to arrive at a goal to be achieved. Because in the teaching and learning process the method used is only the lecture method so that when students receive material from the teacher they do not pay proper attention to the teacher, but instead go in and out of the classroom, make noise in class, scribble on books, and other things. The mind map method is a technique for recalling and storing information in the brain based on associations/imagination and the lecture method is a form of explanation given orally for an idea, which is adjusted to the facts. Usually, if there is still time, it will be closed with a question and answer activity by the teacher to the students and/or students to the teacher.
