Abstract

Corruption is a big problem that Indonesia must face in moving towards a country free from corruption. Indonesia is very close to problems and issues regarding corruption crimes, where corruption is also a big problem that Indonesia must face in moving towards a country that is free from corruption for the progress of the country itself, as for the role of society, especially the younger generation, in a country or government, where the key is needed. The attitude and mentality of the community, in this case the younger generation, as pioneers in fighting corrupt practices in the running of a government in a country are determining steps in managing a government that is free from corruption. Then, by cultivating and forming an anti-corruption character and mentality among the younger generation who will later be able to emphasize anti-corruption values which can be a prevention of criminal acts of corruption in Indonesia. Education plays a very important role in shaping the character of a nation, through education the hope of prosperity is often present. The younger generation has great potential and a role as agents of change in the progress of a nation. Through anti-corruption education, it will be possible to foster an anti- corruption culture and be able to increase the legal awareness of the younger generation. It is also very important to instill legal values in the younger generation.

Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Islam (Islamic Religious Education) emerges as a critical tool in mitigating juvenile delinquency stemming from broken homes. This study explores the profound impact of familial ruptures on children's development and emphasizes Islam's lifelong commitment to education, shaping moral and spiritual foundations. Parental involvement in Islamic education is deemed essential, instilling values that deter delinquency. Strategies involve integrating Islamic teachings into child-rearing, fostering spiritual growth, and community support through mosques and religious institutions. Adopting a qualitative paradigm, this research employs document analysis and content review to deepen our understanding. Results underscore the centrality of Islamic education in crafting resilient individuals within the context of broken homes.

Abstract

This research is to reveal about: 1). Strategies Used by Teachers to Improve Students' Reading Ability in Class II B 2). Teacher Strategy Steps Used in Improving Students' Reading Ability in Class II B 3). Supporting and Inhibiting Factors for Teacher Strategies in Improving Students' Reading Ability in Class II B. This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological type of research. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that, 1) The strategies used by teachers to improve students' reading skills in class II B of the Al Furqon Tebas Integrated Islamic Private Elementary School for the 2023-2024 academic year are two main strategies that utilize learning media. First, the use of letter card media, Second, the use of picture card media involving pictures, animated videos, and educational applications to introduce the letters of the alphabet, 2) Teacher strategy steps used to improve students' reading skills in class II B elementary schools Al Furqon Tebas Integrated Islamic Private School for the 2023-2024 Academic Year, namely, interactive learning strategies and various media are used to increase students' understanding and interest. These methods, including dividing students into groups, using letter and picture cards, and teacher-led games, successfully create a dynamic and enjoyable learning environment. 3) Supporting and inhibiting factors for teacher strategies in improving students' reading skills in class II B of the Al Furqon Tebas Integrated Islamic Private Elementary School for the 2023-2024 academic year, namely, the existence of modern facilities, teacher enthusiasm and professionalism, as well as interactive learning approaches such as the use of picture cards, has shown positive results in increasing student interest and participation. Despite challenges such as diverse student backgrounds, inefficient learning time, and lack of motivation from families, collaborative efforts between teachers, students, and school management, as well as adjustments to learning strategies, play an important role in creating an effective and inclusive learning environment.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the magnitude of the increase in student learning activity through the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model in economics subjects. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) carried out by economics subject teachers. The research was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning stages, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The subjects of this research were 35 students of class X IS SMAN 1 Tanjungbalai. Data collection techniques use tests. The results of research using the Problem Based Learning model from cycle I to cycle II: student cognitive learning outcomes increased by 31%.

Abstract

Seeing the current phenomenon of using toxic language, this is one of the things that schools, especially Christian religious education teachers, need to pay attention to. Basically, the use of toxic language by students does not reflect the character of Christian youth. One of them is the use of toxic language by students at SMKN 1 Tana Toraja who as Christian teenagers should not use toxic language in communicating. This research aims to analyze the role of PAK teachers as educators, role models and leaders in dealing with the use of toxic language at SMKN 1 Tana Toraja. This research uses qualitative methods with interview techniques, literature and observation. The results of this research are that the Religious Education teacher at SMKN 1 Tana Toraja has carried out his role as an educator, leader, role model and communicator in dealing with the use of toxic language, however environmental factors and social media have become a means of spreading the use of toxic language

Abstract

The aim of this research is to reveal, 1) to find out students' reading difficulties in class 2B Indonesian language lessons at SDN 04 Tengguli for the 2023-2024 academic year, 2) to describe the teacher's way of overcoming students' reading difficulties in class 2B Indonesian language lessons at SDN 04 Tengguli for the 2023-2024 academic year, 3) determine the supporting and inhibiting factors for students' reading difficulties in class 2B Indonesian language lessons at SDN 04 for the 2023-2024 academic year. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results of this research show that; 1) Students' reading difficulties in class 2B Indonesian language subjects at SDN 04 Tengguli for the 2023-2024 academic year are errors in identifying letter sounds, incorrect reading direction habits, weaknesses in comprehension abilities, personal difficulties with types of reading, and weaknesses in reading speed, such as not yet fluent in reading, difficulty distinguishing letters, often halting spelling, difficulty stringing letters into words well. 2) The teacher's way of overcoming students' reading difficulties in class 2B Indonesian language lessons at SDN 04 Tengguli for the 2023-2024 academic year, namely selecting and determining strategies that the teacher will use to overcome reading difficulties experienced by students, selecting and determining students' learning media, select and determine teaching and learning methods and techniques that are considered to be the most effective. 3) The supporting factors and inhibiting factors for students' reading difficulties in class 2B Indonesian language lessons at SDN 04 Tengguli for the 2023-2024 academic year are that adequate facilities and infrastructure tend to produce maximum reading learning and maximum understanding, and vice versa, facilities and Inadequate school infrastructure will hamper the process of learning to read at school.

Abstract

This research discusses the use of interactive learning media for elementary school students in the digital era. The research problem focuses on understanding the role of interactive learning media for elementary school students, particularly those based on modern applications or websites. The goal is for both teachers and students to be able to utilize the interactive learning media available around them, which will eventually influence the process and the final outcomes of learning. This research uses a qualitative methodology in the form of a literature review. Data is obtained from various sources such as research journals, articles, and previous scientific works. The research results show that there are many interactive learning media available around us, such as educational videos, digital learning platforms, interactive simulations, and educational games. In their implementation, there are issues that need to be addressed to ensure that interactive learning media can achieve maximum eflectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' social studies learning outcomes through the application of the Back To Back Technique learning model. The subjects of this study were class IX students of SMP Negeri 20 Makassar in the 2020/2021 academic year with a total of 20 students. This research is a classroom action research which consists of 2 cycles and each cycle consists of 4 meetings. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the application of the Back To Back Technique learning model could improve student learning outcomes. The increase in learning outcomes is shown by the results of research from cycle I to cycle II, namely the average value of student learning outcomes increases from 70 to 80. The results of this study can be concluded that the application of the Back To Back Technique learning model can improve class student learning outcomes. IX SMP Negeri 20 Makassar.

Abstract

Attachment is an emotional bond between children and parents that lasts long enough in the span of human life, leading children to feel pleasure when they interact with them. Authoritarian parenting is a parent's restriction of a child's actions or behavior by setting standard parental rules that the child must obey and providing punishment if the child breaks the rules, but authoritarian parents pay little attention to the child. This research aims to explain the influence of authoritarian parenting on early adulthood's attachment to parents. This research uses a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression research type. The population used in this research were active students at University X in North Bekasi. In this research, the data collection technique was by distributing questionnaires via Google Form which contained instruments from a psychological scale. To make things easier for researchers, data analysis was carried out using IBM SPSS Statistics version 25 software. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that in this study students at University their parents' authoritarian upbringing. Then a significance value of 0.112 > 0.05 was obtained, so it can be concluded that authoritarian parenting has no effect on attachment in early adulthood.

Abstract

The background of this research is based on observations and discussions between the author and the author's employees at the West Pasaman district education office which shows low employee satisfaction. The main aim of the research is to obtain information regarding placement and job satisfaction of employees at the West Pasaman Regency Education Office, as well as assessing the significance of the relationship between employee placement and employee job satisfaction. This research uses a correlational approach to investigate the relationship between variables. The population studied involved 70 employees, with 39 of them selected as samples using proportional stratified random sampling techniques based on the Cochran formula. The instrument used is a questionnaire with a Likert scale which has been tested for validity and reliability. The main findings include: 1) Employee Job Satisfaction at the West Pasaman Regency Education Office was rated high with a score of 4.13. 2) Employee placement at the West Pasaman Regency Education Service was rated as appropriate with a score of 3.89. 3) There is a significant relationship between Employee Job Satisfaction and Employee Placement in the West Pasaman Regency Education Office with a significance level of 5%, shown by a correlation coefficient of 0.544 and a correlation significance test of 3.941.
