Abstract

The high number and variety of reports received by the sub-district office often result in a backlog of work and subjective assessments in determining the priority of handling. Thisl study focusesl on thel design andl implementation ofl a Decision Support Systeml (DSS) that aims to ensure an objective and systematic evaluation of the urgency of reports, thereby accelerating the decision-making process. This system integrates two Multicriteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods in a step-by-step sequence. The first step involves the application of thel Simple Additivel Weighting (lSAW) lmethod, withl the criterial of Report Type, Short-Term Impact, and Handling Level serving as an initial screening mechanism; reports that obtain a total SAW score below the threshold of 0.8 will automatically not be prioritized. After that, the second stage usesl the Techniquel for Orderl Preference byl Similarity tol Ideal Solutionl (lTOPSIS) methodl on reports that have passed the initial selection, with the criteria of Impact on Society and Level of Danger, to determine the final prioritization order. Thel test resultsl show thatl the combinationl of SAW andl TOPSIS is very effective in classifying reports with high accuracy and efficiency, separating urgent reports that require immediate handling. Itl is hopedl that thel implementation ofl this systeml can improve the efficiency and performance response of the sub-district, and significantly improve the quality of public services.

Abstract

The use of information technology in the education sector has become an unavoidable necessity, particularly through the use of school websites as digital information service centers for students, teachers, parents, and the general public. School websites serve not only as a medium for conveying information but also as a means of communication, transparency, and support for academic activities. To optimally fulfill these roles, a website must be able to deliver good performance, fast access, high stability when there is an increase in the number of visitors, and adequate security to protect user data and activities. In Buleleng Regency, 17 state senior high schools (SMAN) have utilized official websites as part of their information services and digital administration needs. However, increased traffic, especially during certain times such as new student admissions or school announcements, often triggers high workloads (stress) on servers. This condition has the potential to reduce response speed, hinder user access, and even open up opportunities for security threats such as DDoS attacks and hacking attempts. This study aims to evaluate the technical performance, load resilience, and security aspects of the websites of senior high schools in Buleleng Regency using three automated testing tools: GTMetrix, LoadImpact K6.io, and OWASP ZAP Scan. This approach draws on previous research on website performance measurement, load testing, and user experience. The evaluation results are expected to provide a comprehensive overview of the actual condition of school websites and generate strategic recommendations to improve system speed, stability, and security. Furthermore, the findings from this testing serve as a basis for developing improvement measures so that school websites in Buleleng Regency can support digital education services more optimally, responsively, and securely.

Abstract

The growth of information technology (IT) has become a significant foundation in the world of learning, especially in higher education. IT mastery skills are not only needed to support the educational process, but also to prepare students to face the demands of the world of work. Identifying how students understand information technology. Identifying factors that influence students' difficulties. Providing solution recommendations to improve students' understanding of Information Technology (IT). This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This approach was chosen because it aims to describe in depth the phenomena experienced by students, especially related to difficulties in understanding information technology. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. This shows that the level of students' understanding of information technology such as; reactions (74.2%) is the most dominant factor, while learning (70.6%) and results show (67.3%) then the level of students' understanding of information technology (67.3) so that there are still obstacles to students' understanding of information technology. need to improve the quality and learners related to the level of student understanding.

Abstract

The development of information technology has brought significant changes in journalism practices and mass media management, particularly in radio, television, and online media. These changes have led to increased competition between media outlets and demands for ever-increasing speed in information delivery. This situation necessitates the implementation of effective editorial management to maintain news quality and credibility. This study aims to examine the implementation of news coverage and broadcasting management in radio, television, and online media, and to analyze the influence of differences in media characteristics on editorial management strategies. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach with a literature study method through analysis of various relevant literature sources. The results of the study indicate that editorial management plays a crucial role in controlling news quality through the implementation of planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring functions. The differences in the characteristics of radio, television, and online media influence the process of managing news coverage, both at the pre-production, production, and post-production stages. Therefore, adaptive and systematic editorial management is a key factor in maintaining journalistic professionalism and public trust in the mass media.

Abstract

Water is an essential resource for human life; however, it is also a limited natural resource that requires proper management, particularly in daily household usage. One common problem encountered is the overflow of water storage tanks (toren) due to negligence, as their elevated placement often makes direct monitoring difficult. This study presents the design and development of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based water level monitoring system for household water tanks using an Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller and an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor. The system is designed to measure the water level in real time and display the results on a 16×2 LCD screen. Additionally, visual indicators in the form of red, yellow, and green LEDs are implemented to represent low, medium, and high water levels, providing an intuitive warning system for users. The proposed system aims to prevent water wastage caused by tank overfilling and to improve efficiency in water resource management. Experimental testing shows that the device operates reliably and responsively under various water level conditions. The measurement results indicate that the system is capable of detecting water level changes with an accuracy of approximately ±1 cm. Overall, this monitoring tool offers a simple, low-cost, and effective solution for automatic water level detection and household water conservation.

Abstract

The management of the classroom reading corner at RA Ulul Albab Kaliwates Jember was previously conducted manually, resulting in disorganized book records, duplication, and data loss. This condition hindered the effectiveness of the reading corner as a medium for fostering early literacy habits. To address this issue, this study aims to digitalize reading corner management through the implementation of the Senayan Library Management System (SLiMS) to create a centralized, efficient, and accurate data recording system. This research employs an action research method using the Kemmis & McTaggart model, which consists of four stages: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects include school administrators, teachers, and students of RA Ulul Albab. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, and analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively using descriptive methods. The results show that SLiMS successfully improved the organization and accuracy of book records, increased data processing efficiency up to fivefold, and enhanced administrative transparency. Each book now has a digital identity that can be easily accessed through the system, facilitating supervision and reporting. Overall, the digitalization of the reading corner using SLiMS proved effective in strengthening digital literacy management and administrative efficiency in early childhood education institutions.

Abstract

Sebagai hasil evaluasi belajar siswa selama 1 tahun perlu dilakukan pemilihan siswa terbaik saat menjelang kenaikan kelas. Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk dapat menghargai prestasi yang diperoleh oleh siswa/i di sekolah, yang akan berdampak pada semangat siswa/i untuk peningkatan nama baik sekolah dan meningkatkan prestasi diluar sekolah. Terdapat beberapa masalah yang dihadapi SMP 101 Jakarta Barat dalam pemilihan siswa terbaik yang biasanya dilakukan pada menjelang kenaikan kelas. Kendala bagi pihak sekolah dalam mengambil keputusan, dimana dalam membuat keputusan siswa terbaik masih menggunakan klasifikasi manual, dikarenakan banyak kriteria yang perlu dipakai dalam pemilihan. Pemilihan kriteria yang tidak tepat dapat memberikan penilaian yang kurang objektif bagi calon siswa terbaik yang akan dipilih, maka diperlukan suatu Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) yang dapat membantu dalam pengambil keputusan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah sebagai alternatif sekolah untuk menentukan siswa terbaik tidak hanya berdasarkan nilai akademik saja, agar pemilihan menjadi lebih objektif berdasarkan kriteria penilaian baru yang relevan dan perhitungan bobot yang diberikan dalam sistem. Metode yang akan digunakan adalah Metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), dengan menyediakan kriteria- kriteria tertentu, maka yang memiliki rata-rata bobot nilai akhir terbesar akan menjadi keputusan akhir untuk kelayakan dalam pemilih siswa/i terbaik. Dari hasil perhitungan dengan metode SAW didapatkan oleh siswa Bernama Alycka Aprilya Kurniawan dengan nilai preferensi 97,0.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive learning media using Augmented Reality (AR) to support the introduction of edible fish species for fourth-grade students at SD MIS Adabiyah 02 Palembang. The media is designed to provide an engaging and enjoyable learning experience through the use of marker-based AR technology that can be operated on Android Devices. Fish objects are visualized in three-dimensional (3D) form, allowing students to view and interact with them directly through the camera.The development method used in this study is the Rational Unified Proxess (RUP), which consist of four phases: inception, elaboration, construction, and transition. The design process involves 3D object modelling using Blender 3D and AR integration through Unity and Vuforia SDK. The results of this study are expected to help students better understand the material related to various type of edible fish. The usability using the System Usability Scale (SUS) resulted in an average score of 90 from 31 respondetns, indicating that the appliacation has an excellent level of usability and feasibility.

Abstract

Morning roll call is an important routine activity to improve discipline and cooperation on campus. Attendance recording during morning roll call, which is currently carried out manually by officers, has the potential to cause errors and requires time for recapitulation. This study aims to design and develop a web-based morning roll call attendance system for lecturers and staff at STIKES Hang Tuah, with a focus on simplifying the attendance recording process, speeding up reporting, and improving the accuracy of morning roll call attendance data. This system is built using web-based technology that allows officers to take attendance digitally, easily and quickly during morning roll call. This research is R&D research with a development process that refers to the AGILE method development stages. The development stages include the plan, design, develop, testing, deploy, review, and launch stages. The results of the study show that this system is capable of automating morning roll call attendance recording, providing attendance reports that can be accessed in real-time, and minimizing the potential for data errors or manipulation. With this web-based attendance system, it is hoped that the morning roll call attendance process will become more efficient, transparent, and can improve discipline among lecturers and staff at STIKES Hang Tuah Surabaya.

Abstract

The detection of diseases in mango leaves is a significant challenge in Indonesia’s agricultural sector, as it directly affects both the quality and quantity of crop yields. This study aims to develop an image-based classification system for mango leaf diseases using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architectures, namely VGG16 and Xception. The dataset used in this research consists of two different datasets. The first dataset includes two classes, healthy and diseased leaves, while the second dataset comprises three classes: Jelangga Fungus, Chlorosis, and Healthy. Data augmentation techniques and the Adam optimizer were applied to enhance model performance. Model evaluation was conducted using a confusion matrix along with precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. The experimental results indicate that VGG16 consistently achieves the best performance, with an accuracy of up to 100% in the two-class classification scenario and 99% in the three-class classification scenario. These findings demonstrate that CNN architectures, particularly VGG16, are effective and reliable for classifying mango leaf diseases based on digital images.
