Islamic education faces challenges in adopting technological innovations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the management process. A case study was conducted to gain an in-depth insight into the application of ICT in various aspects of educational management at the institution. The research methods used included participant observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that MTs Khozinatul Ulum Blora has implemented various ICT solutions in learning management and madrasah administration, including the use of academic information systems, online learning, and electronic communication among education stakeholders. Despite facing several obstacles such as limited resources and lack of staff training, the implementation of ICT has made a positive contribution to improving administrative efficiency and the quality of education. This study contributes to the literature on educational management and information technology by presenting concrete findings on the implementation of ICT in the context of Islamic education in Indonesia. The practical implications of the findings of this study can be a reference for other Islamic educational institutions to improve their management through more effective integration of information and communication technology.

The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach and multiple regression analysis. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to the entire population of educators, a total of 33 respondents. The results showed that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction with a significance value of 0.033 < 0.05 and a regression coefficient of 0.369. Work stress has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction with a significance value of 0.025 < 0.05 and a regression coefficient of -0.351. In addition, work stress and work discipline together have a significant effect on job satisfaction with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 and an R² value of 0.353. At the same time, both variables contribute 35.3% to the educators' job satisfaction. Although the level of work discipline is relatively high, job satisfaction still needs improvement, especially in the aspects of salary and financial benefits. This study recommends better stress management, strengthening the culture of discipline, and reviewing the compensation system to support educators' well-being and optimal performance.

Abstract

Digital Transformation of Islamic Universities for Lecturer Performance Based on Decision Support System. The research offers the utilization of digital transformation along with the development of information and communication technology today needs to be done to improve the quality of education, especially in Islamic universities, one of which is the existence of various systems to support them with the existence of multiple kinds of systems to support decision making or Decision Support System. The system for determining outstanding lecturers is used to support learning and teaching activities on campus to create qualified and competent students in their fields. STAINU Purworejo is an Islamic university located in Central Java Province which has been established since 1974 and has 33 lecturers. The process of determining outstanding lecturers that is still running at STAINU Purworejo campus still has shortcomings, namely requiring a long time to process questionnaire data that has been distributed to the campus community and the decision results obtained are not fully valid and not objective. The determination of outstanding lecturers has five assessment criteria, namely: student assessment, superior assessment, educational qualifications, published journals, and lecturer administration. The method used is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to calculate the weight of each criterion and the Technique for Order by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) to rank alternatives based on each criterion. Based on calculations carried out using a combination of AHP and Topsis and system implementation, the highest preference value is 0.835 and the lowest preference value is 0.27. From the results of these calculations, it can be concluded that the utilization of digital transformation for lecturer performance with a Decision Support System that utilizes a combination of AHP and TOPSIS methods can be used to help provide recommendations in decision-making to determine the best lecturer at the Nahdlatul Ulama Islamic Religious College (STAINU) Purworejo.

The model also includes expanding the competence of teachers through training and development so that teachers are more up-to-date and regularly conducted so that the duties of teachers can continue to develop in their professionalism, following the curriculum development by adopting changes in the national curriculum, namely integrating the curriculum so that students can focus on religion as well as general subjects to prepare students to face the era of time, and improving facilities to support the transformation of Islamic boarding schools by providing infrastructure such as computers and the Internet to support more modern learning and developing the leadership potential of students through various extracurricular activities. These changes increase the effectiveness of management and the quality of education provided to students. The implementation of this model is supported by several factors, such as an adaptive curriculum. However, there are also challenges such as the reluctance of some boarding school members to change, limited resources, lack of understanding of transformative management, limited competence, management complexity, and communication that is not well established. The transformative Islamic educational management model has positive implications for each educational stakeholder.

Abstract

This study examines the curriculum of pesantren-based madrasahs as a support for the implementation of religious moderation, the traditions of santri (Islamic boarding school students) in practicing religious moderation, and the model of religious practices among santri in pesantren-based madrasahs. The research was conducted in Java, specifically in Madrasah al-Hidayat Lasem, Madrasah Qudsiyyah Kudus, MA KHAS Kempek Cirebon, Madrasah Aliyah Salafiyyah Syafi'iyyah Jombang, and Madrasah Hidayatul Mubtadi'in Lirboyo Kediri. The study used a qualitative method with a post-positivist phenomenological paradigm. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The findings indicate that the strengthening of madrasa curriculum is integrated with the values of religious moderation, such as the development of lesson plans and teaching materials that incorporate moderation values. In addition, traditional pesantren books are used as learning resources to inculcate moderate attitudes. Pesantren traditions, such as following the example of elders, preserving local traditions, maintaining a culture of writing, and fostering a scholarly environment, also support the implementation of religious moderation. The synergy between madrasas and interfaith institutions provides opportunities for santri to interact with non-Muslims, promoting patriotism, tolerance, open-mindedness, and anti-fanaticism.Based on these data, the study formulates a model of religious practices for santri that integrates the curriculum and pesantren traditions in promoting religious moderation. This model is expected to serve as a guideline for pesantren-based madrasahs in raising a generation of moderate santri who can contribute positively to national and societal life.
