Abstract

Disaster Preparedness is a series of actions taken before a disaster occurs to reduce risk, minimize impact and ensure an effective response. Disaster preparedness is one of the stages in disaster management. disaster events that often occur in Serang City based on data obtained from the Serang City BPBD in 2024 are at least 166 floods, 6 landslides, 5 drowning events, 354 collapsed houses, 54 fallen trees and 13 fire events. The socialization activity was carried out at State Junior High School 8, Walantaka District, Serang City, and was attended by OSIS administrators with the aim of increasing knowledge related to disaster preparedness, especially in the school environment. Disaster preparedness socialization in the school environment is also an effort to increase the preparedness of school elements for potential disasters, especially those that occur in Walantaka District, Serang City. This activity is an activity at the pre-disaster stage and is very important because what has been prepared at this stage is capital in facing disasters and post-disasters. This socialization is carried out in the form of providing counseling and disaster education, especially for people living in areas prone to urban disasters. This is done in an effort to change the paradigm, increase knowledge and attitudes so that a resilient society is built, making people, especially school students, care about their environment so that the impact of disasters can be reduced. Capacity building for participants requires further steps, especially for disaster simulations that can be carried out routinely at least once a year. The local government in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders is expected to take the initiative by including disaster education in the school curriculum, in addition to providing guidance and steps to facilitate disaster management training in the school environment. Keywords: Disaster Preparedness, Urban, SMPN 8 Serang City

Abstract

Ciinjuk Village, situated in the Cadasari Sub-District, Pandeglang City, is primarily an agricultural community. Its main livelihood revolves around farming. The village seeks alternative fertilizers for long-term sustainability without adverse effects. The development of liquid fertilizer based on local resources has become a focal point in sustainable agriculture. This study explores an innovative approach to crafting environmentally friendly liquid fertilizer through a collaboration between the residents of Ciinjuk Village and members of the Kumpulan Wanita Tani (KWT). The research encompasses the utilization of coconut water, EM4, palm sugar, and small bottles as raw materials. Abstract

The problem faced by the Walantaka Village Government is the lack of support from village community institutions, especially RT/RW in the field of administrative services and LPM (Community Empowerment Institution) in the field of village community empowerment. The purpose of this PKM is to provide training to be able to collaborate with stakeholders. The classical method used is that the RT head, RW head and LPM administrators of Walantaka Village are gathered in the village office hall with 2 training sessions. The first session before the material is delivered, a pre-test is held to measure the extent of understanding of the RT/RW heads and LPM administrators. The session is given practice on how to fill out the administration book that must be in the RT/RW administrators and in the LPM administration and is given games that can build effective communication. This second session ends with a Post Test, to measure the extent of acceptance of the RT/RW heads and LPM administrators regarding the material and practices that have been given. To realize the welfare of the community in the sub-district area, of course it cannot be implemented by the Lurah and his sub-district apparatus alone, but it requires support from the sub-district community institutions as partners at the sub-district level. In orderly administrative services, for example, support is needed from the RT head and RW head in helping to provide the required data. If the RT head and RW head cannot help optimally because they do not know what their main duties and functions are, then it is certain that the services provided by the sub-district will not be orderly in administration. Conclusion This coaching clinic activity increases the understanding and capacity of the RT/RW heads and LPM administrators in Walantaka Sub-district in carrying out their functions and roles in the community. Through this coaching, participants gain new insights regarding village-level governance.Keywood : Coaching Clinic, Service, Administrative Order
