Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menemukan penerapan gerak tubuh dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Penelitian ini mengambil data antara guru dan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengambil data dari SDN Carangwulum Wonosalam Jombang. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada jenis gerak tubuh yang digunakan guru dalam metode pengajaran di kelas. Penggunaan gerak tubuh yang digunakan siswa memberikan dampak positif bagi siswa, diantaranya siswa dapat meningkatkan gerakan motorik pada siswa, mempermudah dalam menerima materi, meningkatkan minat belajar siswa, dan menjadikan kelas lebih aktif dan interaktif. Oleh karena itu, pentingnya seorang guru menggunakan gesture. Selain berdampak pada siswa, itu juga membuat kelas menjadi menyenangkan. Kata kunci: Gestur, Pengajaran Kelas, dan Gerakan Motorik

Abstract

Digital tourist posters are a breakthrough in tourism development efforts in the Bangkalan region, Madura. As one of the areas on Madura Island, Bangkalan has a very good and potential tourist area. However, unfortunately, this potential is still not optimal for the wider public to know because there is still a lack of promotion of this tourist area. This research attempts to look at the directive illocutionary utterances contained in digital tourist posters as an effort to develop tourism in Bangkalan, Madura. Digital tourist posters are packaged using a variety of invitational language so it is necessary to study the use of directive illocutions to see the pragmatic power of the poster. This research with a qualitative descriptive design uses data collection techniques in the form of observation and documentation techniques. In this research, the author only focuses on the type of directive illocutionary speech act which focuses on the invitation speech used in digital tourist posters. This research uses Searle's theory of directive illocutionary speech acts. In the results of research related to directive illocutionary speech acts on digital tourist posters, the author found several utterances that show the use of illocutionary acts in digital tourist posters. Some uses of verbs that show directive illocutionary are directive verbs (come on, don't forget, and let's). In the digital tourist poster, there are 3 languages used, namely Madurese, English, and Madurese so variations in the use of directive speech are found in the digital tourist poster. Overall, it can be said that the use of directive illocutions in these three languages has been able to provide effective illocutionary power to attract tourists to visit Bangkalan, Madura. Keywords: Digital Tourism Poster, Directive, and Bangkalan Illocutionary Speech Acts

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meneliti penggunaan analisis pasangan dalam percakapan antara Boy William dan Choi Si-Won dalam Kanal Youtube Bw’s. Penelitian dengan menggunakan metode deskritif kualitatif ini dilakukan untuk melihat analisis pasangan dalam percakapan yang terjadi antara Boy William (B) dan Choi Si-Won (C). Penelitian dengan menggunakan kajian pragmatic ini berupaya untuk melihat bentuk pasangan dalam sebuah percakapan di kanal Youtube. Data pada penelitian ini diambil dari rekaman antara Boy William dan Choi Si-Won. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Terdapat bentuk greeting-greeting sebanyak 5,263%, Requesting-agreement sebanyak 5,263%, Assessment-Agreement sebanyak 21,053%, Question-answer sebanyak 63,158%, dan Leave-taking sebanyak 5,263%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa analisis percakapan secara berpasangan berjalan dengan baik dalam kegiatan komunikasi di kanal Youtube.  Kata kunci: Analisis Pasangan Percakapan, Kanal Youtube, Pragmatik

Abstract

Dalam menulis karya sastra, seorang penulis harus memasukan piranti stilistika untuk mencapai suasana tertentu yang dapat mempengaruhi pembaca. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan piranti stilistika apa sajayang digunakan serta menjelaskan gaya bahasa gotik untuk membangun suasana gotik dalam novel Demian oleh Hermann Hesse. Jenis penelitaian ini adalah penelitian Kualitatif  dan data yang digunakan berasal dari ucapan tokoh serta narasi dari penulis yang dikumpulkan melalui teknik membaca cermat. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan mengkategorikan data ke dalam jenis piranti stilistika, menerjemahkan, hingga menyimpulkan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penulis menggunakan diksi tertentu untuk mempertahankan suasana gotik, memasukkan beberapa elemen gotik dalam cerita, dan menggunakan nama filosofis yang kuno untuk para tokohnya. Penelitian ini juga menujukkan hubungan antara latar belakang keluarga dan kondisi sosial atau situasi dengan bagaimana penulis mengarang karya sastranya.  Kata kunci: Gotik, Demian, Pendekatan Stilistika

Abstract

Social media is the main attraction for attracting tourists and providing various available information, as well as answering various curiosities. The role of ICT in the world of tourism as facilities and infrastructure in promoting tourism which we often hear electronically is called digital marketing. Social media marketing or digital marketing is one of the strategies implemented in marketing tourism products in the current era. The existence of digital marketing makes someone's interest in traveling even higher. Based on this, it encourages researchers to conduct research related to strategies for using digital technology as a medium for conveying information in carrying out promotions, building preferences, and increasing visitors to Tlangoh beach in Bangkalan district. The aim of this research is: To determine the effectiveness of social media in promoting Tlangoh beach tourism in Bangkalan Regency. This research uses qualitative methods with the AISAS model (Attention, Interest, Search, Action, Share). Data analysis in this research uses a search for calculating the mean (average), percentage, and mode or response that often appears in the questionnaire results. AISAS is the process of a consumer paying attention to a product, service or advertisement (Attention) and generating interest (Interest) so that there is a desire to collect information (Search) about the item. Apart from that, researchers also observed the development of Tlangoh beach promotional social media such as Instagram and Facebook. So this research is included in the type of descriptive study. The results of this research explain that the 5 AISAS measurement dimensions (Attention, Interest, Search, Action, Share) reveal that the share dimension provides the highest contribution related to the promotion of Tlangoh beach tourism in Bangkalan. This shows that visitors want to tell stories about their experiences of visiting Tlangoh Beach tourism to friends/colleagues, either directly or digitally, such as on social media they have.Keywords: social media, Tangoh beach, Bangkalan

Abstract

Studi ini menganalisis hasil terjemahan dua platform Kecerdasan Buatan (AI), Claude AI dan Gemini AI, dalam menerjemahkan item-item yang bersifat budaya (CSIs) yang terdapat dalam Mozaik Caréta Dâri Madhurâ ke dalam bahasa Inggris. Terjemahan budaya menghadirkan tantangan unik karena tidak adanya kesetaraan leksikal langsung dan makna sosio-budaya yang mendalam yang tertanam dalam teks sumber. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan teori prosedur terjemahan budaya Newmark (1988), penelitian ini mengevaluasi strategi yang digunakan oleh masing-masing AI dan keberhasilan mereka dalam mempertahankan makna budaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Claude AI cenderung menerapkan strategi komunikatif dan deskriptif, menghasilkan terjemahan yang lebih kaya secara budaya, sementara Gemini AI sangat bergantung pada strategi literal dan calque yang sering mengabaikan nuansa budaya. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terjemahan berbasis AI dapat membantu dalam memproses teks budaya, efektivitasnya bervariasi antar platform. Abstract

This research aims to determine whether or not there is a positive and significant relationship between social support and interest in learning among street children at Save Street Child. The method designed for this research includes quantitative research. The population in this study was taken from students from the Save Street Child community. The sampling technique used in this research was the Purposive Sampling technique, the number of samples in the study was 80 children. Data collection in this research used a Linkert model scale, namely a scale of social support and interest in learning. The results of product moment correlation using SPSS version 21.0 of this research show that social support is positively and significantly related to street children's interest in learning at Save Street Child. This is proven by an r value of 0.255, and a significance value of 0.0220.05. The hypothesis states that there is a relationship between social support and interest in learning among street children at Save Street Child. The higher the level of social support, the higher the child's interest in learning. Keywords : Social Support, Interest in Learning, Street Children

Abstract

Nowadays, a coffee shop on Madura Island has begun to be established with a lot of interesting interiors.There are many ways to develop the coffee shop so that it doesn’t go out of date and remains visited by tourists. One of them is to provide good service by interacting using code-mixing. The purpose of the research is to find out the use of mixed codes used for interaction between customers and baristas in Coffee Kelud Bangkalan. According to Suwito (1985:76), code mixing has two parts: Inner Code Mixing and Outer Code Mixing. This research used qualitative descriptive methods.As for the technique performed by the researchers to collect the data of this research, it is observation or direct observation, recording and taking notes of interactions using code mixing. The source of the data is from the observation site of Coffee Kelud Bangkalan.  In this research, five code-mixed events were found in interaction between baristas and customers with the application of outer code mixing, which was characterized by the use of foreign languages, one of which was English. Meanwhile, inner code mixing uses regional languages, namely Madurese. And in one context, it is possible to use hybrid code mixing which is influenced by the difficulty of finding the right match.  Keywords: code mixing, coffee shop, Madura island

Abstract

The study delves into the figurative language of Pananaroon (Meranaw Proverbs) examines their linguistic structures as well as cultural significance. This grounded in a deep-rooted oral tradition which uses aa qualitative naturalistic approach. The data gathered from key informants across three towns in Lanao del Sur, Bakolod-Kalawi, Maguing, and Masiu. One-on-one discussions and focus group discussions are conducted. The results indicate that the literal and the connotative meanings reveal essential values such as humility, wisdom, honor, and emotional strength. Semantically and semiotically, the analyses reveal that paananaroon are rich with metaphors, personification, symbolism, hyperbole, irony, and imagery. Each pananaroon reflects deeply held Meranaw values such as wisdom, humility, honor, emotional strength, and community harmony. The findings show that pananaroon not only serve as poetic expressions but also transmit moral teachings across contexts such as courtship, patriotism, leadership, and pride. These cultural contexts act as vessels of knowledge, sustaining Meranaw identity and philosophy in the face of challenges. The study underscores the essence of preserving oral traditions and recommends to integrate them into cultural and educational programs to strengthen linguistic appreciation and cultural heritage among younger generations.

Abstract

Bahasa figuratif atau bahasa kiasan adalah bahasa yang digunakan untuk perbandingan antara berbagai objek dalam upaya mencapai bahasa literal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis bahasa figuratif dan mengetahui jenis bahasa figuratif yang paling sering digunakan dalam naskah film berjudul “House of Gucci” yang disutradai oleh Ridley Scott dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif oleh Miles, Huberman, Saldana (2014). Teori yang digunakan dalam menganalisa sumber data adalah teori jenis bahasa figuratif dari Knickerbocker dan Reninger (1963). Adapun tehnik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tehnik dokumentasi dengan empat tahap; (1) identifikasi; (2) Klasifikasi; (3) analisis; (4) deskripsi. Dari analisa, ditemukan 182 data bahasa figuratif pada naskah film House of Gucci, yang terdiri dari 50% metaphor 19% hiperbola, 15 % simile, 12% ironi, dan 4% personifikasi. Dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa naskah film ini menggunakan bahasa figuratif dan jenis bahasa figuratif yang sering digunakan adalah metafora. Kata kunci: Bahasa figuratif; Semantik; Naskah film
