Abstract

The Islamic Education Curriculum serves as a fundamental framework for shaping learners who excel academically while possessing strong moral character, spiritual resilience, and adaptability to contemporary challenges. In Islamic thought, the curriculum is understood as an integrated system of planning, implementation, and evaluation aimed at forming Muslims who are faithful, knowledgeable, and virtuous. The Qur’an and Hadith function as normative sources that require contextual interpretation to remain relevant in modern educational settings. Islamic education emphasizes the integration of cognitive development with moral and ethical values, positioning learning as a process of holistic character formation. This curriculum adopts a comprehensive approach that balances spiritual objectives, moral conduct, intellectual growth, and essential life skills. The integration of Islamic values with general sciences requires contextual and value-based pedagogical strategies rather than rote memorization. However, implementation faces challenges such as limited teacher competence and a lack of contextual teaching materials. Therefore, strengthening teacher capacity and developing adaptive learning resources are essential. As noted by Irmawati (2024), Islamic value integration must respond to contemporary social and technological demands to holistically develop students’ knowledge, skills, and moral attitudes.

Abstract

This article examines the concept of Islamic science from the perspective of modern Muslim philosophers and scholars, with a particular focus on its epistemological foundations. The study departs from the problem of the dichotomy between science and religion that has developed within the tradition of modern Western science, as well as from contemporary Islamic intellectual efforts to formulate a scientific paradigm grounded in revelation, reason, and empirical experience. Employing a qualitative approach with a library research design, this study conducts a conceptual analysis of philosophical works and contemporary writings on Islamic science. The findings indicate that the epistemology of Islamic science does not reject scientific methods; rather, it situates them within an integrative and ethically grounded Islamic worldview. Accordingly, Islamic science offers a holistic alternative paradigm for addressing the fragmentation of knowledge and the erosion of values in modern science.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the development of multicultural education based on educational psychology in elementary schools. The method used is a systematic literature review based on secondary data, which is systematically designed to identify, elicit, and synthesize research related to the development of multicultural education in elementary schools based on the principles of educational psychology. Secondary data sources are taken from various leading academic databases such as Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, ERIC (Education Resources Information Center), and Garuda (Research and Academic Document Gallery). Each article found is described using a study quality assessment scheme based on the criteria of methodological validity, topic relevance, generalizability, and the level of novelty of the findings. The results of this study indicate that the principles of educational psychology in the social-emotional development of elementary school students emphasize the importance of a supportive, inclusive, and needs-based learning environment. With a holistic approach that integrates cognitive, emotional, and psychomotor aspects, and respects the pace and learning style of each child, education can shape individuals who are intelligent, confident, empathetic, and capable of positive interactions. Teachers act as facilitators, drawing on Ki Hajar Dewantara's philosophy, to create enjoyable and meaningful learning, enabling children to grow holistically in terms of their intellect, heart, and identity. This research makes a significant contribution to the development of educational science and child psychology, particularly in integrating a multicultural approach with an educational psychology framework at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study examines the Religious Mentoring program at the Semi-Autonomous Body (BSO) of Al-Ijtima’i Mosque as a form of religious development for university students. The study aims to describe the implementation of mentoring, explain its goals and orientation, and analyze its social functions in students’ campus life. This research uses a qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation involving mentors and mentees. The findings show that mentoring is conducted in small groups through regular and flexible meetings. The program not only focuses on improving religious practices and understanding, but also provides emotional support, strengthens social bonds, and encourages students’ social engagement. Using Talcott Parsons’ AGIL framework, mentoring is understood as a social system that adapts to students’ conditions, directs developmental goals, fosters group integration, and maintains religious values. These findings indicate that mentoring plays an important role in supporting students’ religious identity and social stability within the dynamic campus environment.

Abstract

Fenomena perundungan di lingkungan pendidikan tetap menjadi tantangan serius, yang berdampak negatif pada kesejahteraan psikologis dan prestasi akademik peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pencegahan bullying yang berfokus pada penciptaan lingkungan pendidikan di lingkungan sekolah, masyarakat, keluarga yang aman dan humanis. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini  menegaskan bahwa lingkungan pendidikan yang humanis, mampu mereduksi perilaku agresif dengan cara memanusiakan hubungan antar individu baik di sekolah, masyarakat, dan keluarga. Sehingga menciptakan rasa aman yang berkelanjutan bagi seluruh lingkungan pendidikan

Abstract

Student misconduct, including bullying and brawls, reflects a decline in religious character formation. This study describes the internalization of Islamic values through the "Jumat Barokah" program at SMK Negeri 3 Tuban. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected via interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, and students. Findings reveal that the program consistently implements Friday routines, including Dhuha prayers, dhikr, tausiyah, and voluntary charity. This systematic habituation has successfully improved students' spiritual awareness and moral conduct. In conclusion, "Jumat Barokah" effectively builds religious character, though its long-term impact requires extended observation to ensure full trans-internalization. Future research should cover longer periods to validate the sustainability of these behavioral changes.

Abstract

The Islamic concept of khalifah positions humans as earth's leaders and stewards, responsible for maintaining balance and moral values. This study analyzes how understanding khalifah contributes to noble character formation. Employing a literature review of primary sources like the Qur’an and Hadith, plus scholarly works on Islamic ethics and character education, the findings reveal that khalifah fosters essential values: responsibility, trustworthiness, honesty, justice, social care, and spiritual awareness. Internalizing these shapes morally upright personalities in personal, educational, and social contexts. A comprehensive grasp of the khalifah role heightens ethical awareness and promotes positive societal contributions. Ultimately, khalifah transcends theology, serving as a foundational framework for character development that produces individuals excelling intellectually, morally, and spiritually.

Abstract

In a culture where changes in human behavior are challenged by the advancement of the times, education is essential.  Therefore, we require new, comprehensive formulations of the idea of education, particularly Islamic education, which is the subject of this study.  This study aims to explain Islamic educational philosophy's ontology, epistemology, and axiology. When gathering data, a qualitative approach using literature study approaches is used, followed by descriptive analysis and a conclusion to address the problem.  The study's findings demonstrate that ontology encompasses examination, criticism, correction, and foundation. On the other hand, sources, methods, techniques, and objects are all part of epistemology. The ideals of worship, ihsan, future, mercy, trust, da'wah, and tabsyir are part of the axiology of Islamic educational philosophy.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan salah satu instrumen penting dalam pembangunan manusia dan masyarakat. Artikel ini membahas hubungan antara pendidikan dan stratifikasi sosial serta bagaimana keduanya saling memengaruhi. Pendidikan tidak hanya meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap individu, tetapi juga berperan sebagai sarana mobilitas sosial untuk memperbaiki posisi sosial. Di sisi lain, stratifikasi sosial, yang terbagi dalam kelas atas, menengah, dan bawah, memengaruhi akses individu terhadap kesempatan pendidikan. Kelompok masyarakat dengan kondisi ekonomi lebih tinggi cenderung memiliki akses pendidikan yang lebih luas dan berkualitas, sedangkan kelompok ekonomi rendah menghadapi berbagai hambatan, termasuk keterbatasan biaya dan fasilitas. Artikel ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka, menganalisis literatur dan penelitian terdahulu terkait pendidikan dan stratifikasi sosial. Hasil kajian menunjukkan adanya hubungan timbal balik: pendidikan dapat meningkatkan kedudukan sosial individu, namun stratifikasi sosial juga dapat membatasi kesempatan pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, kebijakan pendidikan yang berpihak pada kelompok kurang mampu, seperti beasiswa dan peningkatan kualitas sekolah, menjadi penting untuk menciptakan kesetaraan dan mobilitas sosial yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

The modern ecological crisis, characterized by climate change and natural resource exploitation, demands a holistic approach integrating science with spiritual values. This study aims to explain the environmental concept in Islam, examine Islamic study methodologies regarding ecological issues, and analyze the integration of Islamic values in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The research method employed is library research with a descriptive-analytical approach toward contemporary scientific literature. The results indicate that Islam offers a comprehensive ecological framework through the principles of tawhid, khalifah, and mīzān. This study finds that the integration of Islamic values into the SDGs is practically implemented through eco-pesantren models, eco-mosques, and green economic instruments such as Green Sukuk. In conclusion, the environmental crisis is a manifestation of moral degradation requiring spiritual restoration through appropriate Islamic methodological approaches. The impact of this research reaffirms that engaging religious values can strengthen collective ecological awareness and accelerate the achievement of the global sustainable development agenda.
