Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of determining the existence of divine values ​​in Toba Batak culture. This research method is to use a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach. This research is intended to find out the extent of the existence of divine values ​​in Toba Batak culture, even though it is known that the Toba Batak people have different religions. In conclusion, the results of this research show that Toba Batak culture still highly upholds divine values, and the presence of God can be experienced through encounters with others and the universe. The Toba Batak people believe that the experience of God is present and realized through the application of daily life. It is at that moment that God is experienced as the foundation and soul of all creatures.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the existence of the Almighty God in the Regulations for Establishing Houses of Worship. In this research the author uses normative legal techniques which are library research, which is carried out by examining all laws and regulations related to the problem that is the object of this research. This research is intended to find out the regulations for establishing places of worship in the Joint Regulations of the Minister of Religion and the Minister of Home Affairs Number 9 and 8 of 2006 based on the principles of the one and only God. The results of this research indicate that there is inequality in establishing places of worship for minority groups due to the requirements in these regulations being dominated by the majority group.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of determining the urgency of the first principle of Pancasila in technological developement in the current era of increasingly rapid globalization. This research method is to use a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach. The results of this reseacrh show that the first principles of Pancasila is very important yo implement in the curret technological era because many people are increasingly turning to the existence of God and think that technology has more influence and impact on their lives and also so that people maintain positive ethics and behavior in carrying out their daily activities. In conclusion, the Indonesian government must always socialize the importance of the first principle of Pancasila to be applied to society, so that there is no erosion of ethics and the rise of negative actions in society.

Abstract

The implementation of teaching and learning activities in Indonesia is guided by the Curriculum. The curriculum is developed and refined in line with the rapid development of science and technology and the evolution of society. In the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, major changes have occurred in the world of education, especially in Indonesia, with a shift from direct learning in classrooms to distance education based on digital technology. The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of implementing the Independent Curriculum at SDN 060826 Kec. Medan Area. Through this approach, it is hoped to obtain a clearer picture of the effectiveness of the curriculum in improving the quality of education as well as identifying obstacles and opportunities that arise in its implementation. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method to analyze the effect of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at SDN 060826 Kec. Medan Area. Research conducted by researchers at SDN 060826 Kec. Medan Area, it can be seen that they always regularly attend training from both the principal and teachers and to strengthen teachers' understanding of the Independent Learning Curriculum, teachers always hold monthly meetings with the Teacher Working Group (KKG) to resolve various problems related to the Independent Learning Curriculum. as well as to increase teacher competence in the process of teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

Globalization has affected various aspects of modern society, one of which is the citizenship identity of young people. The influence of globalization on young people's citizenship identity is a major concern in the life of the nation today. Citizenship identity is an important thing for a citizen. Therefore, this study aims to analyze how globalization affects young people's citizenship identity. The influence of globalization can be seen in young people's lifestyle, consumption and cultural preferences. In the context of citizenship identity, globalization can challenge the clash between local and global identities, raising questions about their loyalty to their home country. The research methods used included a literature. The results of the analysis show that globalization has caused changes in young people's mindsets, values, and citizenship identities. The process of globalization has opened up young people's access to information, cultures and experiences from different parts of the world that change the way they see themselves as citizens. This research provides insights into the dynamics of citizenship identity in the era of globalization in order to promote active and responsible citizenship.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out: (1) The efforts of the Civic’s teacher in developing students’ moral quality in SDK LAMAWOHONG , Rubitvillage, District, Regency and(2) The challenges encountered by the teacher in developing student’s moral quality. This research was being held on February 29rd until March 29st, 2023. The type of this research is a qualitative research and the data collecting techniques was by using observation, documentation and interview. The result of this research shows that teacher as the moral agent should integrating the moral values by using Moral education, norm, ethics and religion in their learning process, and as the motivator by giving reward and punishment to the students. The challenges of this research were a limited time allocation, peer friends association, student’s disobedience behavior, and globalization impact in culture. The conclusion of this research is the Civics teacher had given good efforts in developing students’ moral quality. It was shown in some great efforts that had been given in their learning process.

Abstract

General elections (elections) in Indonesia are an important mechanism in the democratic process which aims to elect people's representatives and government leaders directly by the people. This research aims to examine the principles, objectives of the election administration system, and the election system implemented in Indonesia. Using a descriptive and analytical approach, this study explores various aspects related to elections in Indonesia, including the basic principles underlying their implementation, the objectives to be achieved, and the electoral system used. This research concludes that although the electoral system in Indonesia has run with strong democratic principles, there is still room for improvement in its implementation and supervision. Recommendations include increasing political education for the community, strengthening election management institutions, and stricter law enforcement against election violations. With these steps, it is hoped that elections in Indonesia can be more effective, fair and democratic, so that they are able to fully reflect the will of the people.

Abstract

Indonesia, an archipelago with rich culture and diverse ethnic groups, is faced with the challenge of maintaining national unity. National integrity, defined as a state in which all people have a sense of unity and love for the country, is an important parameter to achieve this goal. This paper discusses the urgency of national integration as one of the parameters of national unity. First, national integration can strengthen the sense of unity by fostering a sense of patriotism and nationalism among the people. Second, national integration can increase national stability by reducing the potential for conflict and division between community groups. Third, national integration can spur national development by creating a conducive and safe atmosphere for the implementation of development. Fourth, national integration can increase the nation's competitiveness by creating a society that is united and has a common goal to achieve national progress. Fifth, national integration can maintain territorial integrity by preventing the disintegration of the nation that can result in the division of the country.

Abstract

Pancasila, as the state foundation and ideology of the Indonesian nation, not only functions as a guide to national and state life, but also as a philosophical system that underlies the outlook on life, ideals and values ​​held by Indonesian society. As a philosophical system, Pancasila contains five interrelated principles and forms an integral framework for thinking. These five precepts reflect universal noble values ​​and contain moral principles that can be applied in various aspects of life. This study aims to analyze Pancasila as a philosophical system, explore the deep meaning of each principle, and understand its relevance and application in the context of modern life. Through a philosophical approach, it is hoped that this research can strengthen understanding of Pancasila as a moral and ethical foundation, as well as a guide in developing a just, prosperous and dignified society.

Abstract

This research discusses in depth the concept of the state, the goals of the state, and the basic urgency of the state. The concept of the state includes the meaning, constituent elements, and role of the state in people's lives. The goals of the state are explored through various perspectives, ranging from security goals to societal welfare. Next, the basic urgency of the state is outlined by highlighting the importance of a strong philosophical and constitutional foundation in shaping state identity and policies. This study emphasizes that a comprehensive understanding of the concepts, goals and foundations of the state is very important to maintain the stability and progress of a country. Through theoretical analysis and literature review, this research provides critical insights for policy makers and academics in efforts to strengthen the country's foundations.
