Abstract

Corruption is a serious problem threatening the life of the nation and state in Indonesia. Amid the rapid development of the digital era, the challenges of instilling anti-corruption values in the younger generation are increasingly complex. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as one of the compulsory subjects in schools has great potential in building anti-corruption character through the internalization of values of honesty, responsibility, and trustworthiness sourced from Islamic teachings. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method to examine the strategic role of PAI in instilling anti-corruption values in the younger generation in the digital era. The results of the study indicate that PAI can be an effective instrument in forming anti-corruption character through an integrative approach that combines digital technology-based learning with the strengthening of Islamic values. Synergy is needed between educators, educational institutions, families, and the government to create a young generation with integrity and free from corruption.

Abstract

National resilience is a nation’s ability to remain strong and resilient in the face of various obstacles and challenges, both domestic and international. In the current era of globalization, technological developments, the internet, and the influx of foreign cultures significantly impact people’s lives. Some of these influences are beneficial, while others can diminish love for one’s nation and state. Therefore, society plays a crucial role in maintaining national resilience and ensuring its strength and stability. This paper aims to explain the role of society in maintaining national resilience in the era of globalization. The method used is a literature review, drawing on information from books, journals, and other relevant sources. The results indicate that society can maintain national resilience by fostering a sense of nationalism, maintaining unity, using social media wisely, appreciating one’s own culture, and participating in national development. Furthermore, mutual respect and mutual cooperation are crucial for maintaining harmony amidst increasingly modern developments. Through cooperation between society and the government, national resilience can be maintained despite the various influences of globalization.

Abstract

This study examines the historical constitutional dynamics, socio-political and cultural dimensions, as well as the contemporary context of law enforcement and corruption eradication in the development of a just rule of law state in Indonesia. The study is motivated by the importance of the supremacy of law as the primary foundation for establishing democratic, transparent, and integrity-based governance. The research applies a normative juridical method through library research by analyzing legislation, legal theories, and relevant academic literature. Indonesia’s constitutional development reflects a close relationship between political system changes, public legal culture, and the challenges of globalization toward law enforcement practices. The findings reveal that law enforcement and corruption eradication continue to face significant challenges, including political intervention, weak institutional integrity, and low public legal awareness. From a cultural perspective, the success of corruption eradication depends not only on strong regulations but also on morality, public ethics, and community participation in monitoring government practices. Therefore, the development of a just rule of law state requires synergy between a democratic constitution, independent law enforcement, anti-corruption culture, and sustainable legal reform to create fair and accountable governance.

Abstract

This study discusses the harmony between the rights and obligations of the state and citizens within the Indonesian democratic system, which is based on popular sovereignty and the principle of deliberation to reach consensus. Indonesian democracy places the people as the highest holders of power while emphasizing the balance between the fulfillment of rights and the implementation of obligations in national and state life. This research aims to analyze the relationship between rights and obligations as well as the role of deliberation and consensus in maintaining national unity and stability. The method used in this study is qualitative research with a descriptive approach through literature review from various legal sources and related references. The results show that harmony can be achieved when the state is able to protect the rights of citizens, while society actively carries out its obligations in democratic life. In addition, deliberation to reach consensus is a distinctive characteristic of Pancasila democracy because it prioritizes common interests over personal or group interests.

Abstract

Regulatory accountability in the family hope program (PKH) as a conditionality-based social protection instrument places the tension between procedural transparency and substantive responsiveness at the center of its governance framework. Through a qualitative approach based on policy analysis, in-depth interviews with social facilitators, and case studies in several regions, this study finds that the dominance of procedural orientation tends to produce a compliance trap, in which bureaucratic actors are more oriented toward fulfilling administrative indicators than toward actual welfare outcomes, thus necessitating a recalibration from compliance-based control logic toward result-based learning logic that enables the integration of procedural standardization and contextual flexibility. To address this issue, two alternative solutions may be considered: first, the implementation of sticker-labeling policy on the homes of benefit recipients as a visual identifier supporting transparency and distribution oversight; second, the strengthening of social assistance administrative digitalization through the optimization of the DTKS and SIKS-NG systems to accelerate verification processes, reduce data duplication, and significantly shorten the disbursement time of assistance.

Abstract

Educators and curriculum are two fundamental components that determine the success of educational implementation in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) and Elementary Schools (SD). Educators not only serve as learning practitioners but also as curriculum developers who are responsible for adapting the learning process to students’ needs. This study aims to describe the concept of educators and curriculum development in MI/SD, analyze the role of educators in curriculum development, and examine the competencies that educators must possess to support curriculum development. The study employs a qualitative approach using library research. Data were collected through documentation studies of books, scientific journals, and relevant legislation, and then analyzed using content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that educators play strategic roles as curriculum implementers, developers, facilitators, and evaluators. The success of curriculum development is strongly influenced by educators’ pedagogical, personal, social, and professional competencies. Furthermore, a continuously developed curriculum supported by competent educators can create effective, innovative, and student-centered learning that aligns with students’ developmental needs. Therefore, improving the quality of educators is a crucial factor in supporting successful curriculum development and enhancing the quality of education in MI/SD.

Abstract

The curriculum has an important position in the implementation of education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/Elementary Schools (MI/SD), as it serves as a guideline for teachers in conducting the learning process at school. This paper discusses the roles, functions, dimensions, and position of the curriculum, as well as its differences from learning at the MI/SD level. The discussion is carried out by reviewing various sources related to curriculum and learning. The curriculum functions as a guide and direction in achieving educational goals and maintaining coherence among educational components within the school. Its functions include adaptation, integration, differentiation, preparation, selection, and diagnostic functions. From its dimensions, the curriculum can be understood as a plan or document, as a system, and as a field of study. In addition, the curriculum serves as a link between educational goals and the implementation of classroom learning. The discussion shows that curriculum and learning are two different but closely related concepts. The curriculum is conceptual in nature because it is a plan, whereas learning is practical because it represents the implementation of the curriculum itself. Therefore, the success of learning in MI/SD is largely determined by how the curriculum is designed and implemented in practice.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the film General Soedirman in improving the character values of nationalism and mental resilience of students, especially those from Broken Home families (parents divorced or families in disharmony). This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study methodology. Data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation of students, social studies teachers, and guidance and counseling (BK) teachers of SMP Negeri 57 Surabaya. The research findings show that the film General Soedirman has a double effectiveness. First, this film successfully internalizes the character values of nationalism, such as patriotism, willingness to sacrifice, immortality, loyalty, solidarity, and unity. Second, this film is able to improve the mental resilience of Broken Home students based on Grotberg's three sources of resilience, namely "I HAVE", "I AM", and "I CAN". Theoretically this study also highlights the relationship between Thomas Lickona's character education theory (moral knowledge, moral emotions, and moral action) and Grotberg's theory of mental resilience. The film "General Soedirman" (General Soedirman) is worthy of consideration as a social studies educational medium and a guidance and counseling tool to help students from broken homes develop character and mental resilience.

Abstract

The transportation sector's reliance on fossil fuels has driven the development of converted electric vehicles as a more economical alternative. However, the performance of these converted vehicles—specifically the torque of the Brushless DC (BLDC) motor—remains suboptimal due to a lack of systematic controller parameter settings. This study aims to analyze the effects of power limit and load on the electric motor torque of a converted Honda Beat FI 110 cc, develop a mathematical model using Response Surface Methodology (RSM), and determine the optimal parameter combination. A quantitative experimental approach was employed using a face-centered Central Composite Design (CCD), resulting in 13 experimental combinations. Independent variables included power limit (50%, 80%, and 100%) and load (60, 70, and 80 kg), while the dependent variable was torque, measured using a chassis dynamometer. Data were analyzed via second-order polynomial regression, ANOVA, a lack-of-fit test, and desirability optimization. The results showed torque values ranging from 42.87 to 51.81 N·m, with the highest value achieved at a combination of 80% power limit and 70 kg load. The RSM model was statistically significant (F = 17.72; p = 0.001) and showed no lack of fit (p = 0.973). Optimization identified the best conditions at a power limit of 87.88% and a load of 70.10 kg, yielding a predicted torque of 49.66 N·m and a composite desirability value of 0.8197. This study demonstrates that the RSM-CCD approach is effective for modeling and optimizing the torque of converted electric vehicles, thereby serving as a reference for more systematic controller parameter settings.
