<![CDATA[Analysis of moral humanity in film Skyscraper is a study that explains the moral message. In this study, of course, using a qualitative descriptive research method, namely researchers will make direct observations of moral messages. The research object used by researchers is An Analysis of Moral Humanity in Rawson Marshall Thurbers Skyscraper Film. Where this film was produced by Beau Flynn directed by Rawson Marshall Thurbers because it tells about phenomena inherent in everyday life such as kinship, responsibility, courage, mutual trust, love, help, and honesty. The data collection technique used in this study was documentation analysis. Where the researcher captures several scenes that contain moral messages to be conveyed to the public. The results found in this film based on the theory of Roland Barthes are to analyze the meaning of signifiers, denotative, connotative, and mythical meanings. The results of this study show 7 scenes that show elements of the moral message in the Skyscraper film. So the researchers found the hidden meaning of the film in the form of a moral message.]]>

<![CDATA[Fahrenheit 451 is a novel that was written by American author, Ray Bradbury. This novel tells about book burning. As all we know, in a reality book has a great role for our life, because it contains of knowledge, information, experience and other useful thing. Meanwhile, in Fahrenheit 451 books must be burned. This phenomenon raises a question ‘why does the books must be burned?’. This study will describe point of view of the characters about book in Fahrenheit 451 according to Nurgiyantoro (2013). This study uses qualitative descriptive method. Objective approach is used in this study to understand the point of view of the characters because, it focuses on intrinsic elements analysis. The result of this study describes the five main characters’s point of view on ‘book’ in Fahrenheit 451.]]>

<![CDATA[The variety of language and language is the hallmark of the Javanese. This value has been embedded in society for a long time. This has become an unwritten rule. Most Javanese people will judge someone's politeness from the way they speak so that they can know whether the person has good behavior or not. Unfortunately, sometimes people neglect important things like this. This is caused by the development of the times. As times progress, people tend to follow Western culture. Meanwhile, Western culture does not have a speech classification between speakers and speech partners. Therefore, researchers are interested in studying errors in the use of uploading bases in the Capciptop! short film released in 2020 using a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques, namely note-taking. The results of the study found that there were five errors in the short film. Three errors lie with the speaker while the other two lie with the speech partner. The form of the mistake is not using polite manners when speaking to older people.]]>

<![CDATA[This poem consists of 31 stanzas, but the most popular of these stanzas are the last two stanzas. This poem is the work of Ahmad Syauqi. In this poem there are many expressions whose full meaning cannot be understood, because there are so many figurative forms of words. This research aims to describe the meaning contained in the syi'r 'Alā safḥi al-ahram with heuristic and hermeneutic reading as well as describing the matrices, models and hypograms in the syi'r 'Alā safḥi al-ahram. The research method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative research method. The approach used in this research is a semiotic approach, namely using Riffaterre's semiotic theory. The type of research used in this research is library research. The results of a heuristic and hermeneutic reading of the poem 'Alā safḥi al-ahram by Ahmad Syauqi are a description of 1. the beauty and majesty of the Egyptian pyramids, 2. Welcome and praise for Ameen Rihani, 3. Praise for the beauty of the Arabic language. The model in this poem, the first model is in the sentence لكِ كالمعابدِ روعةٌ قدسيَّةٌ وعليك روحانيَّةُ العُبَّاد, the second model states يا نجمَ سوريَّا ولستَ بأولٍ ماذا نمَت من نيِّرٍ وقَّادِ the last model إن الذي ملأ اللغاتِ مَحاسنًا جعلَ الجمالَ وسِرَّه في الضادِ. The matrix in this poem is a compliment. The hypogram in this poem is related to the verses of the Koran and the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad. narrated by Imam Thabrani and Baihaqi.]]>

This thesis used semiotic theory by Charles Sunder Peairce which is analysis the sign. This research used a qualitative method. This research also focused with the signs in lyrics and Picture on video clips of both songs. <![CDATA[This study focuses on personal values in a children's story entitled Chadi>tsu Baina As-Syajarah wa Al-'Ushfur by Dr. Isma'il 'Abidin. This research is a literature study research using qualitative descriptive methods using personal value development analysis. In this development analysis will describe the value of development; (a) emotional, (b) intellectual, (c) imaginary, (d) social sense, and (e) ethical and religious sense contained in the story. The results showed that in the story there is complete personal value. Child readers are not only entertained by the presentation of short stories, but will also get education according to their age stage. This story teaches about the importance of preserving nature, fostering empathy and social traits. Reading this novel is recommended for children aged 6-12 years as learning with the guidance of parents or teachers.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemertahanan leksikon peralatan dapur suku sasak di Desa Pringgajurang Lombok Timur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan Ekolinguistik dan Sosiolinguistik karena mengkaji pemertahanan bahasa pada leksikon peralatan tradisional dapur suku Sasak Lombok. Data dan sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah leksikon peralatan tradisional dapur suku sasak Lombok yang ada di Desa Pringgajurang, Kec. Montong Gading, Kabupaten Lombok Timur, NTB. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan teknik fotografi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini mengacu kepada konsep Halliday tentang ekolinguistik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa leksikon alat dapur suku Sasak di Desa Pringgajurang Lombok Timur tidak mengalami pergeseran istilah. Leksikon-leksikon tersebut tetap sama dan eksis digunakan oleh penuturnya meskipun terdapat perubahan bentuk dari yang berbahan klasik ke bahan modern.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to find out the results of the semiotic analysis of the message of women's emancipation contained in the film Birds of Prey using Roland Barthes' semiotics approach. The data collection technique in this study uses documentation sourced from primary data in the movie Birds of Prey. The analysis technique uses Roland Barthes' qualitative descriptive theory and semiotics, and the use of post-feminist theory. Taking the subject refers to the figure of Harley Quinn by looking through denotative terms that explain the relationship between the marker and the marker in reality, resulting in an explicit meaning. Connotations explain the relationship of markers and markers with non-reality, generating implicit meanings and myths explaining the customs and beliefs that prevail in society. The analysis shows that there are signs and markers of the message in this film that are portrayed with humiliation, gender injustice, and unyielding attitudes by women who fight for their rights. There are also elements of women's emancipation, that women must be equal to men in any way, such as acting, behavior, speech, and mindset. Reject the notion that women are weak people who need protection from a man. Fil Bird's of Prey is a call for women's equality through film. ]]>

<![CDATA[Composing recount text ideally conducted with cues instead of freely. At school, students have less time allocation for writing. These were the reason to conduct the research entitled; The Effect of Drilling Technique on Students’ Writing Skills in Composing Recount Text. The aim of this research were; 1. Found out the effect of drilling technique on students’ writing skill in composing recount text; 2. Foound out how the students perceive of drilling technique as a mean to help them in composing recount text. This research was conducted with quantitative and qualitative method at once or called mixed method. The quantitative data collection techniques are pre-test and post-test. the qualitative data collection technique was interview. The quantitative data analysis technique was paired sample t-test. The qualitative data analysis was Miles and Huberman technique. Based on the paired sample statisticts, the sig (two tailed) les than the α (significant level) (0.000 < 0.05), so drilling technique affected the students’ writing skill in composing recount text. The qualitative data showed that students’ considered drilling technique as a teaching technique which help them composing recount text; Two factors encourages this consideration of the students about drilling technique, those are: 1) Drilling technique used example in the learning and teaching process before the students were enhancing into the practice; and 2) Drilling technique used repetitions within the teaching and learning process, so the students understood the matters maximally. The next researches on drilling technique implementation in writing is required to evaluate or complete this study.]]>
