Abstract

Based on the research results, it can be concluded that: (1) The learning independence of class V students of SD Negeri 0605 Simanuldang pre-cycle is still low, namely 6 students or 20.00% learning independence is "very good", 5 students or 16.67% learning independence is "good", 10 students or 33.33% learning independence is "sufficient", 5 students or 16.67% learning independence is "less", and 4 students learning independence is "very lacking". (2) The increase in student learning independence through lesson study class V SD Negeri 0605 Simanuldang cycle I has begun to increase, namely 10 students or 33.33% learning independence is "very good", 8 students or 26.67% learning independence is "good", 9 students or 30.00% learning independence is "sufficient", 3 students or 10.00% learning independence is "less", there are no more students learning independence is "very lacking". In cycle II, the learning independence of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 0605 Simanuldang has increased, namely 18 students or 60.00% learning independence "very good", 12 students or 40.00% learning independence "good", no students learning independence "sufficient", no students learning independence "less", no students motivation "very less". So it can be concluded that through lesson study can improve the learning independence of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 0605 Simanuldang

Abstract

This study aimed to determine: (1) students’ writing skills before the implementation of the outing class and hypnoteaching methods, and (2) students’ writing skills after the implementation of these methods in Grade IV of SD Negeri 0805 Tanjung Baru. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles, namely Cycle I and Cycle II, with stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and tests. The participants were 30 fourth-grade students, comprising 12 boys and 18 girls. The findings showed that students’ writing skills improved significantly after the application of the outing class and hypnoteaching methods. In the pre-cycle stage, only 10% of students achieved good performance, while most were categorized as poor. In Cycle I, improvement was observed, although the results had not reached the expected target. In Cycle II, 86.67% of students achieved good and very good categories. Observation results also increased from 58.66% in the pre-cycle to 81.16% in Cycle II. Therefore, the outing class and hypnoteaching methods effectively improved students’ writing skills by providing broader observation experiences and stimulating idea expression both orally and in writing.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectual (SAVI) learning model on the collaborative skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 0802 Tamiang. The research employed a quantitative approach with observation and test techniques used for data collection. The sample consisted of 30 students, including 13 male and 17 female students, representing the entire population. Data were analyzed using normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis tests. The results showed that students’ collaborative skills improved significantly after the implementation of the SAVI learning model. The observation results indicated that collaborative skills in the pre-test reached 46.66%, categorized as poor, while the post-test results increased to 82.50%, categorized as good. During learning activities, students demonstrated better cooperation within groups, actively participated in discussions, took responsibility for assigned tasks, and completed their work on time. The average pre-test score was 59.80, whereas the average post-test score increased to 80.93 after the application of the SAVI learning model. Furthermore, the hypothesis testing using the t-test showed that the calculated t-value (4.92) was higher than the t-table value (2.04) at a significance level of 0.05 with 28 degrees of freedom. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis was accepted, indicating a significant effect of the SAVI learning model on students’ collaborative skills.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of classroom management on the learning motivation of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 0513 Aek Lancat, Lubuk Barumun District, Padang Lawas Regency. The research employed a quantitative approach using questionnaires to collect data on classroom management and students’ learning motivation. The results showed that the average score of the classroom management questionnaire was 54.70, while the average score of the learning motivation questionnaire was 55.47. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics software. The analysis was carried out to examine the relationship and influence between classroom management and students’ learning motivation. Based on the regression analysis, the significance value obtained was below the predetermined level of significance, indicating a significant linear relationship between the two variables. Furthermore, hypothesis testing was conducted using the Independent Sample T-Test with the support of IBM SPSS Statistics software. The results revealed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.003, which was lower than 0.05. According to the established criteria, if the Sig. (2-tailed) value is less than 0.05, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that classroom management has a significant positive influence on the learning motivation of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 0513 Aek Lancat.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the sanctions imposed on perpetrators of corruption according to Islamic law and to analyze the relevance of these sanctions in achieving public welfare and social benefit (maslahah). The research employs a library research method by examining various Islamic legal sources, scholarly opinions, and relevant literature concerning corruption and criminal sanctions. The findings reveal that corruption is categorized as a ta'zir offense in Islamic law, allowing authorities to determine appropriate punishments based on the severity of the crime. Corruption is often associated with al-ghulul, namely the betrayal or embezzlement of public assets. Islamic legal scholars propose sanctions ranging from dismissal from office, imprisonment, confiscation of assets, and, in severe cases, the death penalty. Muhammadiyah scholars further equate corruption with hirabah due to its destructive impact on society and state finances, referring to Surah Al-Ma’idah verse 33 as the legal basis for severe sanctions. The study also emphasizes that effective anti-corruption measures should include moral and spiritual development, fostering awareness of accountability before God and the consequences of unlawful wealth. Islamic teachings warn that acts of corruption lead to severe punishment in the Hereafter and that charitable deeds funded through corrupt wealth are not accepted. Therefore, strict legal sanctions and moral education are considered essential for preventing corruption and promoting justice

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to determine: 1) the considerations used in establishing the Islamic legal review of women who practice tabattul for career development in Bonal Village, Lubuk Barumun District; 2) how Islamic law views women who practice tabattul for career development in Bonal Village, Lubuk Barumun District; 3) the factors underlying women’s decision to choose tabattul for the sake of career advancement in Bonal Village, Lubuk Barumun District. This study employs a qualitative approach using a juridical-sociological method. The juridical approach is used to examine Islamic legal provisions concerning women who practice tabattul for career development, while the sociological approach is applied to understand the social reality of tabattul. The subjects of this research are the women in Bonal Village, whereas the objects of the research include the practices and community understanding regarding Islamic law on tabattul for women. The findings show that women who choose tabattul may be permitted in cases where marriage could potentially bring harm to their spouse or when they believe they are incapable of fulfilling marital responsibilities. The majority of the Bonal Village community understands that Islam provides concessions for women to practice tabattul. However, many are still unaware that tabattul is permissible in Islam as long as it does not cause harm and is chosen for legitimate reasons, including career development.
