Abstract

Ibrahim Abdullah Rafidah said in his book that the Qur’an is the first of the principles of grammar. Thus, he determined the correct history of the relationship of grammatical research with the Holy Qur’an as an existing and close link since the beginning of thinking about inventing grammar and building its edifice. After the researcher perused the enlightening book of tafsir Al-Munir, the researcher found Surah An-Nahl, which mentioned the divine power in this universe, the evidence and the oneness of God. There are two opposite words whose meaning is unknown. Therefore, this research is related to At-Tibaq in Surat An-Nahl and its revelation. The researcher used in his research is qualitative desk research. The method of data collection used by the researcher is the Documentary Method. An approach that uses written sources to obtain data, The result of this research: The number of verses matching in Surat An-Nahl is thirteen verses: 6, 17, 19, 36, 37, 48, 61, 75, 80, 83, 93, 96, 103, 116. As for the meanings of Al-Tibaq in Surat Al-Nahl, it can be relied on the interpretation of the written verse in the analysis, as well as on the images of the written dishes for which the dishes are cast from the real and figurative dishes.

Abstract

Scholars have emphasized that speaking skill is one of the primary objectives of foreign language instruction. This competence can only be developed through continuous practice and sustained communicative exercises. For this reason, educational institutions dedicated to foreign language teaching encourage their students to use the target language actively in their daily lives. To develop speaking proficiency among students at the intermediate level, close collaboration is required among all stakeholders, including teachers, curriculum developers, educational experts, and other relevant parties. Such cooperation is essential to achieve the desired learning outcomes and to ensure the effectiveness of language instruction. In this article, the author proposes several educational technologies and instructional strategies designed to enhance the speaking skills of intermediate-level students in Indonesia. These recommendations are intended to support more effective and engaging foreign language learning.

Abstract

Arabic is a language with a uslub style (grammar) which has a high degree of comparison with other languages. Aesthetics and authenticity in Arabic need to be studied in depth, especially in the discussion of balaghah science, to understand the appropriateness of the intended meaning. Expert of balaghah provides many lughowiyah studies related to the oral of the Arabs. The purpose of connotation or majaz in balaghah science is feared to cause a misunderstanding of the meaning desired by the mutakalim. Therefore, analysis and research to examine sentences with purposes are necessary to assist in directing mustami' or qori' to the intended meaning of mutakalim. This research uses the library method by collecting references from books and journals. The approach used is a qualitative approach with a description of the analysis. Data collection was carried out using balaghah books, then processed and analyzed in stages until they understood each sub-discussion. The results showed that majaz was mainly found in the mouth of the Arabs. Majaz is classified in various forms, one of which is isti'arah majaz based on the mulaim or compatibility between musyabbah and musyabbah bih with qorinah or lafadz after it. There are three kinds of isti'arah based on the mulaim: isti'arah murasysyah, mujarrodah, and muthlaqah.

Abstract

The teaching of Arabic composition (al-insyāʾ) is a compulsory subject in many Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) in Indonesia. Alongside the development of Arabic language instruction, new teaching approaches have also emerged, one of which is Error Analysis. This approach constitutes a branch of Applied Linguistics and has its roots in earlier Arabic linguistic studies conducted by classical Arab scholars. Initially, Error Analysis was employed to investigate the linguistic differences between learners' native language and the target language from various linguistic perspectives. Today, however, the approach is primarily used to identify the actual difficulties encountered by learners during the language acquisition process. By examining the frequency and patterns of learners' errors, educators can determine the degree of difficulty of particular language problems and develop more effective instructional strategies. Consequently, Error Analysis has become widely applied in various areas of language teaching, including the instruction of written Arabic composition. This article explains the principles underlying the Error Analysis approach, discusses its objectives, and presents its practical application in teaching Arabic writing in a systematic and detailed manner.

Abstract

Reading is one of the four fundamental language skills and represents a cognitive process that involves the use of the human mind. The process of reading begins with several stages that ultimately lead to the recognition of alphabetic letters, enabling learners to identify individual letters and connect them to form meaningful words. An important question arises: How can Arabic alphabet reading be effectively taught to learners with intellectual disabilities? Does this group of learners require a specialized instructional method? This article addresses these questions by discussing appropriate methods for teaching the reading of Arabic letters to students with intellectual disabilities. The topic is of considerable importance because reading constitutes the foundation of knowledge acquisition and serves as the primary gateway to learning. Therefore, identifying effective instructional approaches for these learners is essential to support their language development and educational progress.

Abstract

Arabic is one of the world's major languages and is widely taught in many countries, including Indonesia. Its introduction to Indonesia coincided with the arrival of Islam, leading the Muslim community to study it primarily as a means of understanding the Holy Qur’an. Today, Indonesia is witnessing significant progress in Arabic language education through the establishment of numerous schools and Islamic boarding schools that emphasize the teaching of Arabic alongside Islamic sciences. Although the methods of teaching Arabic vary across these educational institutions, they can generally be classified into two major approaches: the traditional method, which is commonly employed in traditional Islamic boarding schools and schools, and the modern method, which is adopted by contemporary educational institutions. One of the most prominent institutions implementing the modern approach is Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Boarding School. This article examines the various methods of Arabic language teaching in Indonesia, with particular attention to the modern approach practiced at Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Institution.
