Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability on firm value through dividend policy as intervening variable. The population in this study were 133 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2016. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of Corporate Financial Statements that have been published through the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The total sample that meets the criteria in this research is 17 manufacturing companies. The results showed that partially profitability has a positive and significant influence on firm value. Profitability has a positive and significant influence on dividend policy. Furthermore, dividend policy also has a positive and significant impact on company value. In stimulant, profitability variable and dividend policy have significant effect to firm value. Based on the sobel test, it is known that the dividend policy variable as the intervening variable can mediate the relationship between profitability variable and firm value.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the decreasing of top brand award percentage of Honda Vario in matic motorcycle category from 2011-2013. It indicates that brand equity of Honda vario is decreasing. The objective of this research is to examine the effect of advertising, public relations, and word of mouth to brand equity of Honda Vario. The type of this research is explanatory research. Interviews were employed as data collecting methods by using questionnaire as research instrument. 66 respondents were chosen as sample by purposive sampling technique. Linear regression analysis and significance test were used to test the hypotheses using SPSS 15.0. The result of this study showed that all the independent variables, advertising (X1), public relations (X2), and word of mouth (X3), simultaneously or partially give positive effect to the dependent variabel of brand equity (Y). Based on these result, research suggested to Honda’s management to increase frequency of advertisements especially in print media, and to improve cooperation with mass media to generate publicity about Honda Vario.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the level of competition in the business field in Indonesia that isgetting strict in this globalization era. One product that has been competed by the manufacturer inthis era is the daily newspapers. Suara Merdeka daily newspaper has the largest market share in thecity, where 45% of the whole production is marketed in the city of Semarang. But sales figures SuaraMerdeka daily newspapers has decreased in the period 2012 to 2014. Increasing competition and theemergence of new competitors is one of the causes of the decline in salesThis research aims is detect the influence of price, product quality, distribution channel forSuara Merdeka daily newspapers customer loyalty. This type of research is explanatory research,with data collection through questionnaires, the study of literature and interviews. The samplingtechnique used purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study amounted to 87 respondentswho are customers daily newspaper Suara Merdeka in the District of South Semarang. This studyused the analytical techniques of qualitative and quantitative analysis. Quantitative analysis using thevalidity, reliability, cross tabulation, correlation coefficient, simple and multiple regression analysis,the coefficient of determination, significance test (t test and F).The results of this research approved that price (X1), product quality (X2) and distributionchannel (X3) simultaneously can influenced customer loyalty(Y). Of the three variables were analyzedsimultaneously, variable coefficient distribution channels greatest influence on customer loyalty adaily newspaper Suara Merdeka, that is equal to 0.338, while the variable quality of the productamounted to 0.276 and the variable price of 0,040. While the coefficient of determination (R2) ofvariable pricing, quality of products and distribution channels to customer loyalty is 53.6%. Thismeans that 53.6% variable customer loyalty can be explained by three variables, while the remaining46.4% is explained by other variables.Based on the results of the study, the researchers suggested that companies pay moreattention certainty in the delivery of the newspapers every day, on time delivery of the newspapersevery day and notice information when there is a delay in delivery of the newspaper so that it canincrease customer loyalty Suara Merdeka daily newspaper.

Abstract

Work discipline and leadership are factors supporting factor for achieving good performance. PT. Pustaka Rizki Putra Semarang is a company engaged in printing, always providing the best in order to compete. Therefore, it is need of human resources with good performance. In the course of its business activities can not be separated from the problem pinangkatan employee performance by increasing work discipline and leadership. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work discipline and leadership on employee performance. Type of research is explanatory. In the study population there were 30 people and all samples used by census. Techniques of data collection using questionnaires, interviews, literature study. Data analysis method used is correlation, simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The conclusion of this research is the discipline of work and leadership at PT. Pustaka Rizki Putra Semarang is good. Test results with SPSS shows that discipline and leadership have a significant impact on employee performance either simultaneously or partially. Suggestions can be submitted is working discipline should be more attention to the company should be increased. The conclusion of this study is compensation, work environment, workload and leadership on the Main PT Windika quite good. SPSS test result shows that the compensation, work environment, workload and leadership significantly influence job satisfaction either simultaneously or partially. The suggestion that the company should be given more attention is the level of employee discipline. For example, by giving rewards both tangible and intangible for employees to improve disciplin.

Abstract

CV. Indonesia Live Garment is a garment company that working on clothing and pants orders from domestic and foreign brands. However, there are still employees who have low performance such as employees unable to achieve targets, the products produced are not in accordance with quality, and can not complete their work on time. This is allegedly because leadership has not been implemented properly and employee competencies are still low. This study aims to determine the effect of leadership and employee competence on the performance of sewing employees in the CV. Indonesia Live Garment. The type of research used is explanatory research. The sample used as many as 50 respondents in the sewing department employees CV. Indonesia Live Garment. Data collection using a questionnaire with a likert measurement scale. The results showed that the leadership and employee competency variables partially influenced employee performance positively and significantly with the regression coefficient values on the leadership variable (0.355) and employee competence (0.415) and the t-value of the leadership variable (2,593) and employee competency (3,085) ) affect employee performance positively and significantly with the multiple regression coefficient values of leadership variables (0.320) and employee competencies (0.385) with F-count (8.433).

Abstract

The application of the program a relationship marketing part of customer relationship management in business approaches to affect the habit of customers through good communication will create word of mouth and can increase repurchase decision. Especially in the field of retail, the quality of services will be one of the consideration of the person before decide to choice. Alfamart observance of some aspects of competition to win in the retail business.This research supported by decreasing rank Alfamart’s top brand. The aim of this research is to find out the customer relationship management and quality service to repurchase decision through word of mouth on customers Alfamart. The method of this research is explanatory with multi stage sampling technique and taken 100 people as a Kartu AKU user. Quantitative analysis is a technique used to test the validity, reliability, coefficient correlation, coefficient determination, simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis, significance tests (t test and f test), and path analysis.The research results show that the variable customer relationship management and service quality in a partial influence word of mouth and repurchase decision, but simultaneously only affect the repurchase decision. Variable word of mouth partial evaluation repeated affect the purchase , but not proved as variable mediation for the purchase of repeated if tested simultaneously.Suggestions that can be given in this research among others the company expected to provide training to employees on product knowledge, more attention to the convenience of shopping place, increase experience kartu AKU users, and especially about how to handling customer complaints.

Abstract

In Indonesia there are many online marketplace that is place where sellers can create an account and peddling wares. Research results on the website Elevenia shows that a positive and influential advertising significantly to purchasing decision. The influence of advertising and the quality of service to the most influential buying decision is positive and significant. The conclusions of the study of advertising and the quality of service a positive effect against purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Balanced scorecard has a privilege in terms of coverage measurement is a fairly comprehensive because while taking into consideration the financial performance, balanced scorcard also consider the performance of non-financial performance, namely customer, internal business processes, and learning and growth. Referring to the problems faced by CV. Roda Mas Jaya Semarang, this research examines: "Measurement of Company's Performance by Using the Balanced Scorecard Approach (A Case Study at CV. Roda Mas Jaya Semarang)." Because until now CV. Roda Mas Jaya Semarang has not been using the balanced scorecard to measure performance. Type of research is a case study. The data used inthis study is primary data obtained through focus group discussions and using data collection instruments such as questionnaires. And secondary data from the financial statements for 2009, 2010 and 2011. Data analysis begins with translating the vision and mission into strategic goals, set target and weights through the focus group discussions, performing measurements on each perspective and calculates a score balanced scorecard. Based on the analysis, it could be concluded that the balanced scorecard is a total score 182,73 and in the category of healthy. Perspective of financial, customer perspective and perspective learning and growth in the category of helathy as expected. And perspective of internal business processes in the category not healthy. Advice can be gives to the company is to improve the performance of the nonfinancialaspects, aspecially in the perspective learning and growth.

Abstract

Human resources is one factor that has an important role in improving employees performance. Given the important role of human resources, the company must pay attention to the factors that effect employees performance. One of the application is good leadership, so that employees can be persuaded to work according to standart and put aside their personal interests. And with motivation will also encourage to work more spirit.This type of research is explanatory research and its aimed to testing the influence between leadership and motivation towards employees performance. Population in this research was the employees in CV. Adhi Baskoro Perkasa Pangkalan Bun, the sampling technique used was sensus sampling. Sample in this research were 35 respondents. Yhe analysis technique is linier regression analysis using SPSS (Statistical Package For The Social Science) as a tool.The results showed that leadership and motivation have positive influence towards employees performance. Motivation has the most influence (29,8%) and the second is leadership (11,3%).

Abstract

At PT. Sariwarna really needs female workers, especially women workers because spinning and weaving requires precision, diligence and patience, the Chairperson of the Trade Union said so. The head of the HRD also said that married women had better performance compared to unmarried female workers, this was because married female workers had worked for years and were already accustomed to the existing workload. The purpose of this study is to find out the influential role conflict on work performance and to find out the social support of the couple influences the role conflict in married women who have children at PT. Original Textile Sariwarna. To answer the problems and objectives of the study using structural functionalism theory popularized by Robert K. Merton, as a study in analyzing the existing problems, namely the dual role of wives in the family. The results of the study related to the purpose of the study which wanted to explain the influential role conflict on work performance from the results of this study were indeed role conflict influenced work performance but only a few informants experienced it. Furthermore, namely to explain the social support of the couple influencing the role conflict, the results of this study show that the social support of couples is very important when female workers experience role conflict. The latter, namely the social support of the couple influences the work performance of the results of the study shows that it greatly influences work performance and the social support of the couple plays an important role.
