Abstract

The research was motivated by the increasing of competition among the competitors flight services company. Sriwijaya Airlines company was experiencing decline sales 27,05% in 2013. In this case, the company had to increase the service quality and trust to the decision of utilizing of the Sriwijaya Air flight company service.This research aims to know the service quality effect which is consists of five dimensions of service quality they are reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, tangible; and trust to the decision of utilizing the Sriwijaya Air flight company service. The hypothesis is there was service quality effect and trust to the decision of utilizing the Sriwijaya Air flight company service. The type of this research is an explanatory research, the sample collecting technique is purposive sampling technique by 100 samples as the respondents. This research used linear regression which is supported by SPSS for Windows as the analysis method.The results of statistical research shows that the quality of service and trust variables have a positive influence to the decision of utilizing the Sriwijaya Air flight company service. Consumer perceptions of service quality Srwijaya Air quite good and the confidence level is high so that relatively strong consumption decisions. It can be concluded that the quality of service and trust affect the decision Sriwijaya Air service usage.Based on the results of the research, the researchers suggested that the company improve the service quality, increase flight service, compensation for damage to goods and increase consumer confidence like improve the consistency of the performance of the officer so that customers do not switch to a competitor and still survive in the competition at this time.

Abstract

Price can affect the service quality while the service is directly propotional then the consumer will experience satisfaction with the services provided, if there has arisen satisfaction then the consumer can be loyal to the company. In this logistic delivery service JNE Express pay attention to price and quality of services so that consumers can feel satisfaction after using JNE services with expectation to make loyal consumers with JNE Express.This study intend to determine the effect of price towards satisfaction, quality of services towards satisfaction, price and quality of services towards satisfaction, price towards loyalty, quality of services towards loyalty, price and quality of services towards loyalty, price towards loyalty through satisfaction, and quality of services towards loyalty through satisfaction. In this study the population are the consumers of JNE Semarang City by taking 100 samples. The type of this research is explanatory research with quantitative approach. The analysis technique using correlation test, determination test, simple regression test, signification test, sobel test, mediation test using SPSS version 16 application.The result of this research indicate that the price has a significant effect towards satisfaction, quality of services has significant effect towards satisfaction, price and quality of services have effect towards satisfaction, satisfaction has effect towards loyalty, price has effect towards loyalty, quality of services has effect towards loyalty, price has effect towards loyalty through satisfaction partial mediation, quality of services has effect towards loyalty through satisfaction with partial mediation. Each hypothesis test has a significant 0.00.As a suggestion JNE Semarang should maintain the price and quality of services level so that consumers will be satisfied with the service, so that consumers will loyal with JNE Semarang services.

Abstract

Human resources is a very important thing for a company because it is people who make a plan, organize, process and control any existing activity on that company's human resources should have a good quality performance to achieve maximum profits. Since the establishment of a company whether consciously or not, a leader certainly laid a foundation of organizational culture that is used as a basis for implementing performance. In addition, transformational leadership style is also required by the management to be able to influence employees to work well. Based on the data obtained, the percentage of absenteeism is increasing, the number of production decreases and the number of cigarettes disability criteria increases. From this, efforts should be made to improve the performance of employees through work discipline. This study aimed to determine the influence of the variable of organizational culture and transformational leadership styles on employee performance through employee discipline PT. SKT Megawon II Djarum Kudus. The study population was a daily part of the production employees totaling 66 people. This research used a census approach, where all members of the population used as a respondent. Measurement scales using Likert scale. In the analysis of the data using simple linear regression and multiple regression test with SPSS 16.00. Based on the survey results revealed that organizational culture, transformational leadership style and work discipline positive effect on employee performance, either partially or simultaneously. The conclusion of this research that simultaneous testing showed that the influence of organizational culture, transformational leadership style and work discipline on employee performance is 84.9%. The advice can be given to PT. Djarum SKT Megawon II Kudus is improved organizational culture found on the company and transformational leadership style which is owned by the management to be done by increasing working discipline in order to reach maximum performance.

Abstract

Marketing performance is a benchmark to determine the extent of the success of Batik SMEs in Semarang in facing intense competition. This study aimed to determine how the effect of innovation and customer orientation on marketing performance through the competitive advantage of Batik SMEs in Semarang. The type of research was explanatory research type with a total sample of 61 respondents used census sampling techniques. The data are collected through questionnaires used Likert measurement scale. The data were analyzed used SPSS 21.0 for Windows. The results showed there is the effect of innovation on competitive advantage with t count value of (9,288)> t table (2,001), there is the effect of customer orientation on competitive advantage with t count value of (9,729)> t table (2,001), there is the effect of innovation and customer orientation to competitive advantage with the F count value of (69.110)> F table (3.156), there is the effect of innovation on marketing performance with a calculated value (7.979)> t table (2.001), there is the effect of customer orientation on marketing performance with t count value of (9.025) )> t table (2,001), there is the effect of competitive advantage on marketing performance with t count value of (9,091)> t table (2,001), there is the effect of innovation on marketing performance through competitive advantage with t count value of (4,079)> t table (2,001) ), there is the effect of customer orientation on marketing performance through competitive advantage with t count value of (3,461)> t table (2,001). Suggestions in this research are Batik SMEs in Semarang to be able to innovate, understand and meet the needs and desires of customers to be excellently competitive so as to improve marketing performance.

Abstract

The research was motivated by the increasing number of beauty clinics which offer various kinds of products and treatments to meet the needs of community in the field of beauty. Larissa Aesthetic Center Semarang is one of the beauty clinic that seeks to meet the needs of consumers in the field of beauty care with the concept using natural ingredients. Customer visits in Larissa Aesthetic Center Semarang each year has not reached the target. It indicates a problem with Larissa’s customer loyalty.The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of product quality and service quality toward customer loyalty through customer satisfaction as an intervening variable. The type of this research is explanatory research. The population is all of Larissa Aesthetic Center Semarang customers. While the sample of this study are 100 customers. Data collection is using a questionnaire with purposive sampling. The analytical method used in this study is two-stage regression analysis using the software SPSS for Windows version 17.0, where the validity test, reliability test, coefficient of correlationt, simple and multiple regression, the determination coefficient, significance test (t test and F test) are done first. Based on two-stage regression analysis results show that variable product quality (X1) and service quality (X2), whether partially or simultaneously have a positive and significant toward customer satisfaction (Z). Partially, variable customer satisfaction (Z) also has a positive and significant toward customer loyalty (Y). Based on the research results, the company is expected to improving customer satisfaction and customer loyalty by maintain the quality of products and quality of services provided. Larissa had to control all the composition of the ingredients used in the manufacture of each product. In addition, Larissa should hold routine evaluation for employees in providing treatment to make employees more skilled in providing outstanding service. It is also a good idea that Larissa can add the variety of products and treatment in order to increase the completeness type of beauty treatment in Larissa.

Abstract

The research problem is low productivity of employee at department of production at PT. Pantjatunggal Knitting Mill. The purpose of this research is to identify the influence of the dual role of women employee, work stress and discipline work against female employees work productivity in PT. Pantjatunggal Knitting Mill. Type of research is explanatory. The sampling technique used is probability sampling, with proportionate sampling type. Samples were taken with the Slovin formula of 10% (0.10), and obtained a sample of 84 respondents using a questionnaire. The analysis method is with correlation, the coefficient determination, t test, and f test by using SPSS 21.0 for windows. The Results of the categorization show that of most employees have a double role is high enough. Have a significant influence (partial) with low correlation (0,036), coefficient determination 3,6%, t count (-1,747). Categorization work stress categorization of most employees is high and have a significant influence (partial) with low correlation (0,067), coefficient determination 6,7%, t count (-2,004). Discipline of work categorization of most employees have a good discipline have a significant influence (partial) with medium correlation (0,401), coefficient determination 16,1%, t count (3,961). Dual role, work stress, and discipline of work variables together (simultaneously) have a positive and significant effect on work productivity with medium correlation (0,036), coefficient determination 18,3%, and f count (5,964). The conclusions are that the dual role, work stress, and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on work productivity. The suggestions that the management need to pay attention to employees, to provide clear information to employees, and to gave sanction based on the rules.

Abstract

Purchasing of stocks is one of the alternate investation that is interesting for the investors, because there are two returns that will be expected. The first is dividend,  Second is Capital Gains. The benefit ability of high companies can also increase the stock prices. Ratio - the ratio of liquidity such as Current Ratio (CR), profitability such as Return on Investment (ROI) and Return on Equity (ROE), and the ratio of activities such as Total Asset Turnover (TATO) can affect the company's stock price.This research aims to determine the effect of the ratio of  Current Ratio (CR), Return on Investment (ROI), Return on Equity (ROE) and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) on Stock Prices. Population as well as the sample in this research is a state-owned company financial / BUMN data listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010 and 2012 and it is obtained 13 state-owned companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data collection in this research is done by downloading the Annual Report the companies through the website www.idx.co.id . In the data analysis uses the classical assumption test, simple linear regression and multiple regression test with SPSS program.The results show variable Current Ratio (CR) has an influence on the stock price of 0.220,but not significant. Variable Return on Investment (ROI) has an influence on the stock price of 0.360, but not significant. Variable Return on Equity (ROE) have an influence on the stock price of 0.655. Variable Total Asset Turnover (TATO) has an influence on the stock price of 0,439. Variable Current Ratio (CR), Return on Investment (ROI), Return on Equity (ROE) and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) have a positive influence simultaneously to the stock prices that is equal to 77,6%. This suggests that all of Current Ratio (CR), Return on Investment (ROI), Return on Equity (ROE) and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) 2010-2012 State Owned Company can affect the stock prices.

Abstract

Development of Internet technology makes more businesses have sprung up selling online. One of the online buying and selling business is Bukalapak site. In the face of intense competition online business, Bukalapak need to influence consumers to make purchases on the site. Many factors influence consumers in making a purchase, such as the ease of use of the website, the quality of information provided by the website and the perception of risk will purchase online.This study aims to determine the effect of ease of use, quality of information and the perception of risk on online purchasing decisions on Bukalapak sites partially or simultaneously. This type of research is explanatory research. This research use questionnaires distributed to students FISIP Undip who have made purchases in bukalapak as many as 100 respondents. In the analysis used validity and reliability, the correlation coefficient, simple and multiple regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, and a significance test (t test and F) with SPSS 20. The results of this study indicate that ease of use, quality of information and the perception of risk partially and simultaneously affect the online purchasing decisions. Variable ease of use provide greater influence on online purchasing decisions on Bukalapak.Based on the results of the study, the researchers suggested that Bukalapak companies further improve service websites such as displaying the menu structure is clear and understandable, product information must be clear and detailed, from the description of the size, material and color. Then, to minimize the risk of purchasing online, it is necessary to use the original photo products and provide appropriate goods delivery limit so that the delivery did not take long.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect variables work environment, leadership and compensation of  PT.Kimia Farma Plaant Semarang’s employees' job satisfaction. This paper  is explanatory research. The sampling technique uses non-probability sampling technique with saturated sampling type that used as a sample that is 95 people. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS for windows version 16:00 The conclusion of this research is 55.8% of the respondents said the work environment is fair, 66.3% of respondents said leadership is fair, 91.6% of respondents said compensation in either category, and 67.4% of respondents stated to have job satisfaction tinggi.Work environment variable affect the job satisfaction of 25.1%. Leadership variables affect job satisfaction of 16.6%. Variable compensation affects the job satisfaction of 16.1%. Simulteously  the work environment, leadership and compensation affects job satisfaction by 36.1%. This means better work environment, leadership and compensation expected higher level employees' job satisfaction Based on the results the company needs to improve the quality of existing employment facilities such as keeping all existing work by organizing community service, to promote cooperation and liaison between the leadership of the employee gatherings are held regularly, compensation has created a well should be maintained so that the satisfaction increased employee and employee performance the better

Abstract

Agenpos as businesses need a strategy to support the sustainability of its business, including strategy Marketing Mix Service. In passage of time, effort there Agenpos that can get big turnover, there also has not been able to get it. The aim of this study is to knowing alternative strategies in developing Agenpos by using analysis of Marketing Mix Service. This research is a descriptive study with qualitative data support. Data collection techniques obtained through in-depth interviews, observation of the author as well as real data infield. Based Marketing Mix Agenpos big turnover obtained results (1) Locations is very strategic. (2) Rates obey PT. Pos Indonesia (3) The product is almost the same as Kantorpos (4) Promotion needs to improve (5) Employees maximum 2 people (6) The process was based on procedures (7) Physical Features Agenpos Sattar is good but needs to be improved. Based Marketing Mix Agenpos small turnover obtained results (1) the location is quite strategic. (2) Rates obey PT. Pos Indonesia. (3) The product is almost the same as the post office (4) Promotion needs to be improved (5) Employees maximum 3 people. (6) The process was based on procedures (7) physical appearance needs to be improved. Stimulus of Agenpos large turnover are (1) very strategic location (2) Cooperate with online shops. Obstacles are (1) a small room. (2) physical appearance needs to be improved. Stimulus of Agenpos small turnover are (1) Agenpos BKM Krida Asih Mukti cooperate with the locals. (2) Agenpos Kurniawan have social media accounts. Obstacles are (1) Limited location. (2) Physical appearance less. (3) Lacking of promotions. Conclusion that Agenpos strongly influenced by the location, cooperation with onlineshop, promotion to the community as well as their social media accounts. It is suggested to improve the physical appearance of the outside in, intensify promotion, formed a partnership with an online shop or surrounding communities
