Abstract

Eco-efficiency is a concept/strategy the delivery of competitive price of goods and services that satisfy human needs and bring the quality of life, while progressively reducing ecological impacts and resource intensity throughout the life-cycle, to a level at least in line with the earth’s estimated carrying capacity. Eco-efficiency actions include reduction of the material intensity of goods and services, reduction of the energy intensity of goods and services, reduction of toxic dispersion, enhancement of materials recyclability, maximum sustainable, use of renewable resources, extension of product durability, and maximum service intensity of products. The problem that occurs at Tapioca Flour SMEs UD Sinar Cerah is a huge NPO cost which is 78.5% of the total production cost. This study aims to determine the application of eco-efficiency in the Tapioca Flour SMEs UD Sinar Cerah, Margoyoso District, Pati Regency. This research uses a descriptive-analytical method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used include observation, oral interviews ,and literature study. Observations were made on the use of raw materials, water, and energy used in production. The analysis showed that in one year UD Sinar Cerah produced 3,354,780 kg of tapioca flour. The accumulated annual cost of NPO UD Sinar Cerah is Rp. 17,282,564,465.00. UD Sinar Cerah has the opportunity to implement eco-efficiency measures in the process of cutting poles, settling, and encircling to save NPO costs as much as 164,037,436.00 per year. The suggestion given to Tapioca Flour SMEs UD Sinar Cerah is to increase the accuracy and caution in the use of raw materials, energy, and water that has not been measured.

Abstract

Every company needs a resource that has an important influence to achieve the expected goals. Resources may include natural resources, human resources, knowledge resources and technology resources. Employee performance is not good due to poor working environment, lack of motivation and lack of work discipline PT. Njonja Meneer Semarang engaged in the herbal industry in which there are production employees are actively involved in the company's production activities.This type of research is explanatory research. The sampling technique include nonprobability sampling technique is purposive sampling. The sample in this research were 76 respondents who are production employees of PT. Njonja Meneer Semarang. In the analysis of the test used factor analysis with SPSS 20.Results of statistical analysis known partial effect of the work environment on employee performance by 57,2%. Then the motivation on employee performance by 55,2%. As for the discipline of work on employee performance by 44,5%. Effect of Simultaneous influence of the working environment, motivation and discipline to the employee performance by 72,0%, while 28,0% are influenced by other factors.Recommendations for improving the performance of employees to the company to increase its attention to the work environment, motivation and discipline of work which in turn will ultimately increase employee performance.

Abstract

E-Plaza Cinema Semarang, as a cinema services company, can be found a low amount of repurchase intention, which causing the capacity of the cinema is often not fulfilled and also causing the ticket sales per year target is not achieved. It is presumably caused by the inadequate quality of its products (film) and its poorly-rated service. This study is tailored to reveal how the quality of its products (film) and service can influence consumers repurchase intention towards E-Plaza Cinema Semarang. Explanatory Research is the research type that is used in this study. The verdict of this study conveys that both of the product quality and service quality variables have positive, solid, and notable influences regarding to consumers repurchase intention. Purposive Sampling is chosen to be used in 100 respondents. This study used questionnaire instrument in Likert Scale to collect data. The data analysis methods that are used in this study are Validity and Reliability Test, Correlation Coefficient (R), Regression Test, Coefficient of Determination (R2), T Test, and F Test. Two variables, which have been assessed concurrently and progressively, reveal that the product quality variable and the service quality variable simultaneously have a significant, positive and solid correlation toward the consumers repurchase intention variable. Therefore, if product quality and service quality are increased then it will also increase consumers repurchase intention, and if product quality and service quality are decreased then the consumers repurchase intention will also decreased and it can be found that service quality has bigger effect than product (film) quality towards consumers repurchase intention. Suggestions that can be given to increase the consumers repurchase intention is to improve product quality and service quality of E-Plaza Semarang which is considered important for the consumers but has a low attention from E-Plaza such as actors/actress popularity, attitudes and abilities of employees, movie image quality, the duration of movie, movie show times, and the safety inside E-Plaza.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the brand equity elements to the purchasing decisions of Toyota Kijang Innova on PT. Nasmoco Pemuda Semarang. The type of research used is explanatory research with 95 respondents taken using a purposive sampling technique. The analysis technique used is linier regression with SPSS for windows. The results showed that the brand awareness have a positive effect on purchasing decisions, brand association have a positive effect on purchasing decision, perceived quality have a positive effect on purchasing decisions, and Brand loyalty have a positive effect on purchasing decisions. Brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality, and brand loyalty are jointly contributing positively towards purchasing decisions. Advised to PT. Nasmoco Pemuda Semarang needs to make improvements in marketing strategy to attract more customers in the future, so that it can be more exciting to the consumers. Wear jingle song or attractive slogans to be remembered by the consumers, Making a good marketing communications to get new customers, also to decide the price appropriated to the specifications and quality products offered to create a purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pertumbuhan bisnis online di Indonesia, fenomena iniditunjukkan dengan banyaknya toko online baru yang muncul dan bersaing. Setiap usahamenginginkan agar usahanya dapat terus bertahan, semakin berkembang dari waktu ke waktuakan mendapatkan keuntungan, maka dari itu Sabilla Store harus memikirkan bagaimana caranyaagar dapat tetap bertahan dan memikat banyak konsumen untuk melakukan pembelian. Secarakhusus penelitian ini membahas mengenai Sabilla Store Surakarta yang selama tahun 2012-2015mengalami penurunan jumlah pembelian dan naik turun jumlah pembelian. Apabila hal tersebuttidak diperbaiki dan di atasi bukan tidak mungkin akan menimbulkan masalah bagi Sabilla Store.Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh harga, keragaman model produk, kualitasinformasi dan kepercayaan terhadap keputusan pembelian online pada Sabilla Store. Tipepenelitian ini adalah explanatory dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara denganinstrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisiskualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis kuantitatif menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, koefisienkorelasi, analisis regresi linier sederhana dan berganda, koefisien determinasi, uji signifikan (uji tdan uji f).Hasil penelitian uji statistik diperoleh hasil persamaan regresi Y=3,850 + 0,270 X1 +0,150 X2 + 0,438 X3 + 0,118 X4 , yang dapat diartikan bahwa harga, keragaman model produk,kualitas informasi dan kepercayaan berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian online di SabillaStore.Simpulan yang diperoleh antara harga, keragaman model produk, kualitas informasi, dankepercayaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Saran yangdisampaikan adalah Sabilla store hendaknya terus melakukan inovasi model tas untuk pemenuhankebutuhan konsumen dan memperbaiki kualitas informasi yang terdapat pada akun penjualannya.

Abstract

Kriyan monel craft is one of the superior products in Jepara Regency. Therefore, the development of monel Kriyan MSMEs is important, including through Innovation. The problems that occur in monel craft are facing competition from foreign countries, especially from China. The objectives of this study were: 1) to know the condition of MSMEs in the center of Kriyan monel craft. 2) Knowing the business development of SME craft monel in Kriyan Kalinyamatan Jepara village. 3) Knowing the innovations made on monel Kriyan craft products, 4) Knowing business development and innovation in monel Kriyan Kalinyamatan Jepara craft products. The method of this research is qualitative descriptive. The research locus was conducted at the Kriyan village monel craft center, Jepara. The subjects of this study are producers or craftsmen, as well as monel traders. The data in this study were obtained from MSMEs, monel craftsmen and traders. The results of research in the field are known to 59 SMEs who are in the center of Kriyan monel craft. Of these, there are 44 small MSMEs or around 75 percent, medium MSMEs totaling 8 MSMEs or 13 percent and large MSMEs as many as 7 MSMEs or 12 percent. The conclusion is that based on the number of workers owned by most MSMEs, the monel craft at the Kriyan monel craft center is a small MSME status. Conclusion: Large MSMEs are more innovative than small MSMEs due to limited human resources. It is necessary to innovate product development through product design innovation, equipment innovation, marketing innovation and innovation of small and medium MSME production facilities in order to further increase sales and competitiveness until finally business development occurs, the advice given to MSME players is internal consolidation through strengthening organization or association. Then increase the capacity of business people and build communication and cooperation with relevant stakeholders to find solutions to develop monel craft business.

Abstract

Marketing product in business world have important role which connected to purchase decision. Purchasing decision can be triggered by store display which catch customers first impression. Therefore, create store atmosphere is needed for giving comfort to customers when they are in the store. All these aspects must be mutually support to achieve the purpose of Gramedia Pandanaran.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of store display and store atmosphere on purchase decision at Gramedia Pandanaran Semarang. This research method is explanatory, with the technique of collecting data through interviews with questionnaires, observation, and study of literature. Accidental sampling and purposive sampling technique was used with a sample of 100 people. The analysis technique used is quantitative and qualitative by validity test, reliability test, simple and multiple regression, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination (R2), cross-tabulation, and significant test (t test and F test).Results and discussion showed that store display classified as good, but there are still classified as good enough. Store atmosphere classified as good, but there are still classified as bad. Purchasing decision classified as good, but there are still classified as bad. Store display have significant effect towards purchasing decision (16.4 percent). The better store display then the better purchasing decision. Store atmosphere have significant effect towards purchasing decision (16.4 percent). The better store atmosphere then the better purchasing decision.The research conclusion of store display and store atmosphere relatively good, even though have some weak points. Recommendation for management are maintain the neatness of display anytime. Arrange a good scent in the store. Increase innovation and variation product so that customer will make repeat purchases. Then, need for further research by the company or an outside party on the other independent variables such as the effect of live events, price, promotion, advertisement, store image, and store services.

Abstract

The sales volume of cigarettes in Indonesia continues growing, as the average daily cigarette consumption per person continues to increase. Marlboro Cigarettes leads the market in the SPM segment (Sigaret Putih Mesin) in Indonesia, but the SPM Share of market has decreased and market share based on Marlboro cigarette sales volume decreased in 2014. This is due to the market trend that still enjoys kretek cigarettes SKM (Sigaret Kretek Mesin) rather than foreign cigarettes such as Marlboro, as well as competitive advertisement competition by competitors and the goverments restriction rule on advertising on cigarettes. The type of research is explanatory research, with a population of 100 respondents who buy and consume brand cigarettes Marlboro. Sampling in this study using non-probability sampling. The sampling technique uses Incidental sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used are cross tabulation, correlation, simple regression, and multiple regression using SPSS 24.0 application. This study concludes that advertising and lifestyle influence purchasing decisions, either partially or simultaneously. Lifestyle variables have greater influence than advertising variables. Based on this, researchers suggest that additonal and maximizing the Marlboro cigarette advertising medium by increasing the frequency of ads, serving ads, and strategically placing ads. In addition, held a promotional event Marlboro cigarettes in place of youth crowd.

Abstract

A new measurement system based on performance become necessity in managing an organization. The study was conducted in District Company BPR Bank Pasar Region of Kudus. The research design is for performance measurement model business balanced scorecard approach through four perspectives: financial, customer, internal business processes and learning and growth. Performance measurement model is considered able to balance financial performance with non-financial performance.Type of research is a case study. The data used in this study is primary data obtained through focus group discussion (FGD) and using data collection instruments such as questionnaires. And secondary data from the bank's financial statements for 2009, 2010 and 2011. Data analysis begins with translating the vision and mission into strategic goals, set targets and weights through the FGD, performing measurements on each perspective and calculates a score balanced scorecard. Based on the analysis, it could be concluded that the balanced scorecard is a total score of 94.12 and in the category of healthy according to predicate the health of BPR. Financial and customer perspectives in the category of healthy as expected, but in the perspective of internal business processes and learning and growth in the category is quite healthy. Advice can be given to the company is to improve the performance of the non-financial aspects, especially in the perspective of internal business processes and learning and growth.

Abstract

One of the most important resources of a company is human resources. So that every company needs to think of ways to improve the performance of employees they have in order to drive the company's progress. One key to improving employee performance is by maintaining employee motivation and job satisfaction. This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation and job satisfaction on the performance of sewing department employees at PT. Krakatau II Estuary. The type of research used is explanatory research. The sampling technique of this study was proportional random sampling techniques 89. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire with a Likert measurement scale. Data analysis method used is regression analysis with the help of SPSS program version 25.0. The results of the study indicate that partially work motivation and job satisfaction affect employee performance positively and significantly with the regression coefficient values on work motivation variables (0.767) and job satisfaction (0.501) . Valuable t-value of work motivation (6,690) and job satisfaction (4,577). Then simultaneously the variables of work motivation and job satisfaction together affect the employee's performance positively and significantly with the multiple regression coefficient values of work motivation (0.663) and job satisfaction (0.144) with the calculated F-value (23.105). Suggestions given to PT. Muara Krakatau II is improving work motivation and job satisfaction due to work motivation and job satisfaction of the sewing department employees of PT. Muara Krakatau II tends to be still low. Improvements to work motivation are primarily related to the willingness of employees to produce products in accordance with predetermined targets and the willingness of employees to complete work faster than specified. While improvements to job satisfaction, namely the compensation provided and company management.
