Abstract

AbstractResearch on the determinants of entrepreneurship and performance of micro-small business actors (MSEs) has been carried out, but research on the role of entrepreneurship and performance on the welfare of MSE actors is limited. This study analyzes the role of BUMDes resources and social capital on Artisans' entrepreneurship, performance, and welfare. Data were collected by observation, questionnaires, and in-depth interviews and analyzed using Partial Least Square. The results show that BUMDes resources have not played a role, while social capital has been proven. The implications of research on BUMDes management and Village Community Empowerment Institutions must further introduce the existence of BUMDes. This will increase the interaction of BUMDes managers with the village community. The Ministry of Industry and Trade should work together to create an association of artisans of export products.  The next researcher is advised to examine the role of the government.

Abstract

AbstractThis study examines the impact of the Investment Opportunity Set, Liquidity, Ownership Structure, and Company Size on Company Value in firms conducting Fixed Asset Revaluations on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (2015-2022). Using a quantitative approach with hypothesis testing, the research analyzes 211-panel data samples through multiple linear regression. Findings reveal that Ownership Structure does not significantly affect Company Value, while the Investment Opportunity Set, Liquidity, and Company Size have a partial influence. The study contributes to financial literature by highlighting the role of fixed asset revaluation in modifying company value. Additionally, it provides insights for policymakers in shaping revaluation policies and serves as a key reference for businesses considering asset revaluation.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to evaluate the impact of the conversion and merger of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) after the implementation of the Qanun that requires all financial institutions in Aceh to switch to sharia. The sample consisted of 300 Muslim and non-Muslim customers. Using the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) and Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), the study analyzed changes in customer behavior in response to the regulation. The findings show that the conversion initially decreased customers' attitudes and subjective norms towards using BSI products, but increased post-merger. There is a difference between Muslim and non-Muslim customers' attitudes; non-Muslim customers support BSI products despite unfavorable subjective norms, while Muslim customers only show subjective norms without significant attitudes towards usage intention. These findings provide insights for IB service providers to design innovative services that accommodate different consumer attitudes and ensure comprehensive application of Islamic principles.

Abstract

AbstractExtended Reality (XR), encompassing Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR), constitutes immersive computer-generated technologies. While predominantly implemented in larger enterprises, XR adoption in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is notably sparse. XR's projected significance in product marketing, such as Meta Company and industry experts, this paper investigates XR adoption in Indonesian MSMEs from 2020 to 2023. Our review identifies ten instances of XR implementation in MSMEs, primarily in early developmental stages with limited user experience. The application of the (TAM) underscores the importance of user-centric evaluations in the adoption process. The balance between affordability, technological readiness, and consumer appeal will be key factors influencing the future dynamics of XR adoption in the business sector. Theoretical implications suggest a potential shift in marketing dynamics for MSMEs, while practical implications underscore the need for enhanced XR integration strategies to unlock the technology's full potential in empowering smaller enterprises.

Abstract

AbstractThe digitalization era emerges a cashless lifestyle. The study aims to determine the effect of perceived usefulness and ease of use on the intention of using e-money, with subjective norms and social image as moderators. This study uses a quantitative method by distributing online questionnaires to 197 respondents in Surabaya who have used e-money for at least three months. The results of the questionnaire data were processed with SmartPLS 3.0. The urgency of the study is that the use of social image and subjective norms as external variables still needs to be studied. All of the objectives of this study are significant, except that social image can weaken the influence of intention in using electronic money, so this is the study's uniqueness.

Abstract

This study is meant to identify variables that should be considered while making funding decisions and identify the theory of the capital structure that is relevant in funding decisions. The study is conducted in property and real estate company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study is descriptive quantitative research using purposive sampling method and able to gather 70 observation data that would be processed by panel data regression analysis on Eviews. The results in trade-off theory show that debt tax shield and firm age perspective have positive impact on company's funding decision. In pecking order theory model, it is found that financial deficit has a positive effect while business risk is the opposite. Positive effect is also found on the proportion of independent commissioners, but growth opportunity variable is considered to be neutral and doesn't have effect on capital structure in agency theory.
