Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to find the improvement of the students' motivation, study result and learning activities in the drawing materials of door frame, door, and wood window after the students are given the direct leaming model by using Project Work Assessment to improve students' drawing motivation and study result at eleventh grade of SMK Negeri 3 Sendawar Kutai Barat. The research in this thesis uses classroom action research by using descriptive quantitative analysis in two cycles. There are 12 students of eleventh grade become the subject of the research. The instruments used to collect the data are questionnaire for students' learning motivation, project assessment, and observation sheet for students' activities. The results of the research are: (1) the students' learning motivation is 75% in the first cycle and it becomes 91.67% in the second cycle; (2) the students; learning result in their spiritual attitude is in a good category. It is 53.33% in the first cycle and it becomes 83.33% in the second cycle. the students' social aspect is in good category. It is 66.67% in the first cycle and it becomes 91.67% in the second cycle. The classical achievement in the skill aspect is 66.67% in the first cycle and it becomes 91.67% in the second cycle; (3) The improvement of the students' leaming activities is in the category of the most dominant. The students do the drawing assignment for 87.50% in the first cycle and it becomes 97.92% in the second cycles. The minimal activity which is conducted by the students is asking the questions to the teacher. It is 20.83% in the first cycle and it becomes 37.50% in the second cycle. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to find the learning set by using Jigsaw type as cooperative model bised on the 2013curriculum of the syllabus, lesson plan, students? worksheet, scoring sheet, learning media, studens? book, and the questions in the pretest and post test, to improve the student?s study achievement at SMKN 3 Sendawar. The learning set is developed through Research and development by using 4-D model that define, design, develop, and tried it out in the classroom by using 0ne-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The result of the research shows that the validity of the syllabus, lesson plan, students? worksheet, scoring sheet, learning media, students? book, and the questions in the pretest post test get the index score V from Aiken ? 0,70 in the category of valid an faesible to be used in the research. The implementation of the Jigsaw type as the cooperative learning set is good enough, and the everage reliability of the instrument is 98,33%. The students? activity in the maeeting 1,2, and 3 get the average score of 3.67 in the category of very active. The students? response for the learning process is in the range of 71-73 and the number of the absolute frequency of 33,3% of the students do agree with the learning model. The improvement of the average students? study result in their cognitive is 0.72 (high gain). Overall, 93.3% of the students pass the learning process. Based on the data analysis, it can be councluded that Jigsaw type as learning medel which based on the 2013 curriculum by using scientific approach can improve the student? study resul at SMKN 3 Sendawar. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is an experimental research which aims to find the information of the students? critical thinking, affective learning outcomes, cognitive learning outcomes, psychomotor learning outcomes and response after the students?s are given project-based learning. This research uses experimental research by using Quasi Experimental Design by using Time Series Design. The subjects of the research are eleventh grade students? of welding engineering skill of Vocational School 6 Samarinda, East Kalimantan in the odd semester of academic year of 2014/2015. There are 31 students?. The data is collected through pre-test and post-test to find the students? critical thinking skill, affective learning outcomes, cognitive learning outcomes, and psychomotor learning outcomes. The response questionnaire is used to find the interest, innovation, pleasure, easiness, clarity and students? interest to the learning process.The data is analyzed by using N-Gain descriptive analysis and t-Test. The result of the research shows that the research instrument which is used is valid. The result shows that the average students? critical thinking is in the high categorized > 0,70. The other result shows that the project based learning model gives the effect for the affective, cognitive, and psychomotor learning outcomes. Three of them are in the category of pass. The students? response in the project based learning is good. Based on the result, it can be concluded that project based learning for electric arc welding improve the critical thinking of vocational school and can make the students? pass the affective, cognitive, and psychomotor learning outcomes. Abstract

Abstract 2013 curiculum has general learning aim which consist of affective, cognitive, and skills aspect. Thinking skill is part of the main competence which much be learnt in 2013 curiculum. This research develops the learning material in the inquiry based operational amplifier LM 741 discussion to train students? thinking skills. This research aims to measure the validity, effectiveness and practicality of the of the developed learning material. The steps of instructional development of learning material using 4D model by Thiagarajan. Four steps which have been conducted are introduction, design, validation, empiric test and revision The data collecting technique used are observation, interviews, validation, test and non-test. The descriptive analysis is used to analyzed data. The research is conducted at eleventh grade Audio Video Engineering Program at SMKN 2 Penajam Paser Utara. There are 26 students become the research population. The result of the first research shows the validity of learning material get the average of 3.33 among the scale 0-4 and the reliability coefficient of 0.85. The second research result shows that effectivity of the learning set consist of spiritual affective competence achievement which is 3.42; social affective competence is 3.34; cognitive competence is 3.34; thinking skill competence is 3.39 and get criteria of very good, the working skills competence is 3.49; and students? response who like the learning set is 90,38%. The practicallity of the learning material gets the score for 3.86 from the learning implementation. The data analysis shows that (1) learning material get a very good validity, (2) the learning material is very effective in the use based on the competence achievement and students? positive response, and (3) the learning material is very practical based on the observation of the learning implementation. Abstract

Abstract This research is done to know D3's college student ability in praktik AC's interest also develop learning peripheral and measures entrepreneurship's soul (kewirausahaan). This research is executed on September 2014 at Surabaya's Country University by totals respondent 40 college student utilize developmental research types peripherals and dealt out college student response questionnaires. Downloading process utilize peripheral where was validated by pro expert and have at test-driving to know reabilitas instrument and that data analysing to utilize analisis instrument validity, analisis keterlaksanaan is praktik AC's learning, analisis is thoroughness studies, analisis is intreneur's soul and college student response questionnaire. This observational result point out model learning peripheral inkuiri with Contextual Teaching And Learning's approaching (CTL) syllabus 78,57%, GBRP 89,47%, SAP 86,11%, LKM 83,33% and key LKM 76,92 %, handout 77,77 %, LP and LP's key 81,56 %, and specification table 80 %. Analisis thoroughness usufructs to study model learning peripheral floatings Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) having complete criterion with thoroughness score studies (individual), and complete klasikal thoroughness with appreciative score essays kognitif's result product 81,25 % reliabilitas's points item essays 0,975> 0,7; essay kognitif's result processes 75 % reliabilitas's points 0,952> 0,7; and essays psikomotorik's result 75 % reliabilitas's points 0,932> 0,7. Analisis assesses melatihkan entrepreneurship's soul has to assess reliabilitas 0,932> 0,7 by melatihkan's thoroughness score entrepreneurship's souls on brazes DOCK 2 75 % complete. This research discusses the implementation of the integrated active learning by Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet in the Budget Planning Lesson to Count the cost of a house foundation. This research aims to: (1) find the difference of the students? study result in the budget planning lesson between those who get integrated active learning and those who get convensional learning (lecturung, demonstration); (2) to find the difference of the study result in the budget planning lesson between high successful students and low successful students; (3) to find the interaction between achievment level and learning method toward the study result. The research uses quantitative approach by using factorial design post tes only. The population of the students at SMK N 2 Samarinda at elevenh grade in the third semesters. The data of the studens? success is collected through personality test which is adapted from Edwards Personal Preference Schedule (EPPS). The test of achievment is conducted by objective essay test. The result of the annava F test two talis: (1) the learning method shows the main significant effect for the study result, F(1,56) = 158.680; p < 0.05; (2) the successful level shows the main significant effect for the study result, F(1,56) = 5.612; p < 0.05; (3) there was significant interaction between learning method and level of success of the is not significant interaction between learning method and successful level toward the study result, F(1,56) = 6.848; p

Abstract

ABSTRACT Students need to be educated in order to have an independent character. "Independence of taking the test" has a positive influence on students' independence. The aim of this study; (1) researchers know the effect of "paperless test" against "cognitive student learning outcomes" compared to "paper and pencil test", (2) researchers know the effect of "paperless test" against "the independence of the students taking tests," as opposed to "paper and pencil tests ". This research was conducted by observing differences in learning outcomes scores, and observed differences in students' scores independence in carrying out the test. This difference is expected because influenced by the ways of implementing the test. Implementation of these tests done in two ways, ie the test is paperless and paper and pencil testing. The test is performed three times. In each will be obtained data in the form of a score of independence and data in the form of scores of learning outcomes, both tests are performed by means of a paperless or done by paper and pencil. Research data to test paperless is data in the form of scores of learning outcomes, and scores independence for the first test, 2nd, and 3rd. Comparative data is data from paper and pencil test namely learning outcomes scores and scores of independence for the first test, 2nd, and 3rd. Data will be analyzed by t-test. T-test performed on learning outcomes between test scores paperless with paper and pencil. T-test was also carried out on students' independence between test scores paperles with paper and pencil. Paperless test data are average scores of learning outcomes: 19.10, 20.30, and 21.10, the average of students' independence: 19.17, 19.20, and 19.13. Meanwhile, paper and pencil test data are average scores of learning outcomes: 19.00, 20.03, and 21.03, the average of students' independence: 18.93, 19.13, and 19.07. The average variance of paperless test is 1.044, while the average variance of paper & pencil test is 1.056. Total students each class is 30. Research concluded; (1) score of "cognitive learning outcomes" paper and pencil tests ? paperless, at three times the test. (2) Score "independent execution of test ?paper and pencil? ? paperless, at three times the test. Research suggests; (1) computers can be used by students to take turns, (2) training of about done to improve the "independent student".
