Abstract

Abstract The aims of this research is to know:1) the effect of workshop automotive management towards knowledge, 2) the effect of workshop automotive management towards practice skills, and 3) the effect of workshop automotive management towards student learning motivation state Vocational High School 1 Sambeng. This is a quasi experiment research. The research method is hypothesis testing on causal relationship between manipulation of independence variable and testing changes that caused of them. The independent variable this research is the management of LWV workshop automotive. However, knowledge, practice skill, and student learning motivation is dependent variables . Data collecting technique by using test item, observation, and questionnaire. Sample of this research are 34 student of X class lightweight vehicle major. Data analysis techniques are using t-test to know the effect of workshop automotive management towards knowledge, practice skills, and student learning motivation state Vocational High School 1 Sambeng. The result of t-test are: (1) there are an effect of LWV workshop automotive management towards student knowledge. This is showed by t-test result is 4,568 with sig. (p) score = 0.000 less then 0.05 , 2) there are an effect to LWV workshop automotive management towards practice skills. This is showed by t-test sore is 5,510 with sign. (p) score = 0.000 less than 0,05, (3) there is an effect of LWV workshop automotive management towards student learning motivation by knowing the result of t-test with numbers -10,91 with sig. (p) score = 0.000 less then 0,05. From the data analyzing it can be conclude that research of LWV workshop automotive management could influence to knowledge, practice skills, and student learning motivation state Vocational High School 1 Sambeng. Abstract

Abstract Operating milling machine is one of the standard competences which must be mastered by the studens of mechanical engineering in vocational hight school. One of the ways to help students comprehend the learning materials of milling machine operating is by using appropriate and effective learning set. Therefore, this research develops macromedia flash based learning set in the milling machine operating through direct learning especiallyin making the straight cut gears which aims to make the students be able to pass the students? study result. This learning set are developed by adapting 4-D model. There are define, design, develop, and disseminate. The data collecting techniques used are expert validation, observation , test and students? questionnaire. The subjectsof the research are the students of eleventh grade at mechanical engineering department of SMK Negeri 2 Wonosari. The researchis designed by using one group pretest-posttest design. The data is collected by giving pretest, applying the developed learning sets, and giving the posttest. The research data is analyzed by using descriptive statistic analysis technique. The result of the research finds that : 1) the learning set which is developed in the form of syllabus, lesson plan, students? work sheet, learning media, and scoring sheetis very valid and its average score is 3.5, 2) the lesson plan is well implemented and its average score is 4.4, 3) the students? activity in the learning process is very active and its average score is 3.2, 4) the students? response for the learning is very positive for 88%, 5) the students?study result can be achieved well either individually or classically. To sum up, the macromedie flash based learning set for milling machine operating through direct learning for the straight cut gears has been developed well and is effective to make the student be able to pass their study. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims : (1) to examine and analyze the differences in energy conversion machine learning outcomes between students who studied with the use of instructional media macromedia flash with students who study with the use of student worksheets; (2) to examine and analyze the differences in energy conversion machine learning outcomes between students who have learning motivation high and low learning motivation; and (3) to examine and analyze the interaction between the use of instructional media by using macromedia flash, worksheets, and motivation toward learning outcomes of energy conversion machines.. This research is an experimental study using a Non-Random Pre-test and Post-test Control Group with the use of factorial design study model of 2x2 design, population of tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 1 TKR in Balikpapan. Data collection techniques with methods of testing for learning outcomes and methods for learning motivation questionnaire. Analysis of the data in SPSS using two-sample t-test and ANOVA, two independent parts, test requirements normality using Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, homogeneity test requirements using the Levene test. The results of the study: (1) the influence of the energy conversion machine learning outcomes between students who learn to use macromedia flash media with students who are learning to use the media student worksheets obtained F value = 0.039 to 0.843 significant. Because significant < 0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 accepted, so in this study the energy conversion machine learning results in students learning with macromedia flash media is significantly higher than students who studied the learning media LKS; (2) differences in learning outcomes between students' energy conversion machine which has a high learning motivation and low learning motivation obtained results of F = 0.570 obtained results with significant 0,453. Because significant < 0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 accepted as a result of energy conversion of learning material to students who have a high learning motivation is significantly higher than students who have low motivation; (3) to examine and analyze the interaction between the use of instructional media by using macromedia flash, worksheets, and motivation toward learning outcomes of energy conversion machines. is obtained F value = 0.128 to 0.722 significant . Because significant < 0.05 then Ho is rejected and H1 accepted in this study so there is an interaction between the use of instructional media by using macromedia flash, worksheets, and motivation toward learning outcomes of energy conversion machines. Abstract

Abstract The aims of Prakerin were: (1) in order that SMK students cool learn directly from world of venture/industry, by meant that they can feel the truly work world was; (2) to increase work ability; and (3) to enhance their experiences, to practice their attitude and discipline, so that after graduate, they have readiness to work approriatly with the criteria that needed for the job. It was switable with the purpose of SMK is to work immediately after graduate. The research was conducted for: (1) to know the correlation between academic achievement and Prakerin performance; (2) to know the correlation between work motivation and prakerin performance; (3) to know the correlation between work ethic and performance Prakerin; and (4) to know the correlation between academic achievement, work motivation and work ethic jointly with Prakerin performance of SMK students in Samarinda. The type of this research was Expost Facto. The population were all of the second grade of SMK majoring in automotive mechanics in Samarinda, with the samples were the second grade of SMKN 10 and SMKM 4 students in Samarinda. The data were collected by using performance assessment for Prakerin performance variable (Y), the valve of report book for academic achievement variable (X1), guestionnaire for work motivation variable (X2) and work ethic variable (X3). The data were analyzed by using statistic test of Product Moment and Double Regression. The conclutions of the research were: (1) a significant positive correlation between academic achievement and Prakerin performance; (2) a significant positive correlation between work motivation and Prakerin Performance; (3) a significant positive correlation between work ethic and Prakerin performance; and (4) a significant positive correlation between academic achievement, work motivation and work ethic jointly with Prakerin performance. The research recommended were: (1) education office of Samarinda city support that Prakerin activity of SMK; (2) part of SMK, teachers and venture/industry word as partnersip of vocational education more increase their guidance to the students, so it can be produce local human resource competitively in automotive; and (3) to other researcher, this result could be used as a reference to do the same lund of the lund of the research with another variable, that can influence the performance in Samarinda. Abstract

Abstract This research is a developmental research by developing the project based learning set of operating system installation. This research aims to find the feasibility of the learning sets which is developed and the study result after applying this learning set. The result which is expected in this research is the feasible project based learning set. The feasibility of this learning set meets the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective. Validity consists of content validity and constructs validity. Practical consists of easiness in applying the learning set. Effective is getting the students? response and achieving the learning goals. The model of developing this learning set is 4-D from Thiagarajan. Three are 1) define; 2) design; 3) develop, and 4) disseminate. The data is collected through observation, validation and test. Descriptive analysis is used to analyze the data. The result of the first research is the validity of the learning sets get the average score of 3.802. It meets the criteria of very valid. This scoring uses the instrument by using average of 3.3 and the criteria of valid. Second, the average of practical level is 3.80. It meets the criteria of very practical. The third result is the effectiveness of learning set which consists of students? response in the average percentage of 94% and the average of students? study result of 68.66. It meets the criteria of effective. The conclusion of this research is the learning set which is developed is feasible because it meets the criteria of valid, practical and efficient. Abstract

Abstract This research is conducted since there is students? assumption of Vocational High School that the main learning process at school is only about practice, while the theory is only additional learning process. This interpretation can be seen from the students who do not pay attention if they are given the theory in their learning process. This assumption is strengthened by the learning process which is only conducted by direct learning through lecturing method. The purpose of this research is developing a instructional materials by using STAD cooperative learning model to solve those problems. It is expected to create the graduation of the vocational high school not only master in the skill but also in their cognitive and affective. It meets the message which is written in the 2013 curriculum. This research is a R&D development research. The steps use the theory of Borg and Gall which has been adapted. Each step uses 4D model from Thiagarajan. Those steps are primary study, draft model development, validity of the materials, and empirical test. The data collecting techniques used are observation, interview, expert validation, essay test, and questionnaire. The descriptive analysis is used as a technique to analyze the data. The result of the research shows that the research instrument gets the average score for 3.64 of a 1-4 rating scale, it is included in the valid criteria. The instructional materials consists of syllabus, lesson plan, students? worksheet, scoring rubric, learning media, and teachers book which get the average score for 3.76 of a 1-4 rating scale. The students? study accomplishment in the affective is 100%, cognitive is 93%, and skills is 100%. The implementation of the learning gets the score for 3.77 of a 1-4 rating scale. It is included in the very good category. The students? response in the learning process is positive. This result shows that the instructional materials which is develop is feasible to be used. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to develop the learning package based on e-learning moodle by using instruction at SMKN 2 Tarakan. This research adapts 4D instructional developmental model by Thiagarajan. They are define, design, develop and disseminate. The developed learning package is validated by the expert and is tried out to the students? of computer and network engineering at SMKN 2 Tarakan as the research subject. The design of the try out uses one group pretest and posttest design. The data is collected through expert judment, observation, test and questionnaire. The data is analyzed by using descriptive analysis. The research analysis of the learning package development can be described as follows: 1) the average score of the validity of developed learning packaget is 3.83. and gets the criteria of very valid; 2) the average score of the practicality ofr the developed learning package is 4.27 and gets the criteria of good and practical; 3) the average score for the effectiveness of the developed learning package which involves the students? activities in the learning process is 3.23, the reliability is 0.93, and get the criteria of very active; students? response for the learning process is 88% and get the criteria of very positive, the result of the students? study result meets get criteria of mastery. The conclusion of this research is the learning package which is valid, practical, and effective. The validity consists of content validity and constructs validity. The practically consists of the easiness in use. The effectiveness gets the positive response, improve the students? activities and mastery in student?s achievement. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is conducted since the electric technique teachers in East Kalimantan are demanded to prepare the competent graduation in the solar electric installation. The learning set which is developed in this research is completed by smart solar home system kit. That is a learning tool in the form of home miniature by using PIR censor as the automatic door service, light censor by using LDR as the automatic lamp service and temperature censor by using NTC as the air conditioning service to make the learning process by using Project Based Learning runs well. This research is conducted in to steps, it is started by developing the learning set and it is continued by experimental step by using nonequivalent control grup design. This research aims to find the feasibility of the learning set which is developed and to find the difference of study result between the students who use the solar electric installation learning set by using direct learning. The data collecting technique used are observation, validation and tes.The researcher uses analysis of covariance by using statistic data software to analyze the hypothesis, t. The result of the research shows that the learning set is valid to be implemented. It consist of: (a) the syllabus is valid and gets a very good category, (b) the lesson plan is very good category, (c) the students? worksheet is valid and gets a good category, (d) scoring sheet is valid, (e) the students? book is valid and gets a good category, (f) the learning kits is valid and gets a good category. Furthermore, based on the results of statistical analysis used in the study, it was found that (F: 0220; p> 0.05) and (. Abstract

ABSTRACT The background of this research is the lack of students' ability in acquiring the learning process at shool because do not have the feasible and effective learning set. One of the ways to help the students' understand the learning material of repairing clutch unit and its operation system component is by using the learning set which meets the curriculum 2013 and is based on the discovery learning model. This research aims to get the feasible and qualified learning set to be used, get the realibility in the learning process get the good realibility of the students, good students response for the materials of repairing clutch unit and its operations system component, and good students' study result. This research is conducted by using developmental design by using 4D model. They are define, design, develop, and dessiminate. It has two levels. The first step is developing the learning set by using discovery learning model. The secong step is try the learning set out fer the 25 automotive students at SMK Negeri 2 Tarakan. The result of this research shows that the developed learning set can be described as follows: (1) the learning set which is developed in the from of syllabus, lesson plan students' worksheet, scoring sheet, and the media is in the category of valid. The average score is 4.4, (2) the implementation of the learning set is in the good category. It is in a good category because is reliability score in the first try out is 0.92 and it becomes 0.95 in the second try out, (3) students' activities in the learning process is in the category of active. Its reliability score in the first try out is 0.94 and it becomes 0.95 in the second try out, (4) students' response is very positive. It score is 89.7% in the first try out and it becomes 89.7% in the second try out , (5) the classical accomplishment is achieved, either individually or classically. In general, it can be concluded that the earning set by using discovery learning which has been developed is feasible to be used and is effective to pass the students' study result. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to find the differenceof activities and study achievement of the students who uses the project based learning and thosewho use direct learning process in the electrical circuit subject at SMK Negeri 2 Samarinda. This reaserch is an experimental research. The sample of the research is tenth grade of L1 as the experimental group and tenth grade of L2 as the control goup.The data is collectied through observation to find the students? learning activities, either classroom activity or practical learning activity in the garage and giving the test related to the materials comprehension of electrical circuits which consists of nuclear structures and electrical basic law to find the students? study achievement. The data analysis is perquisite test to find the homogeneity of the sample and hypothesis test to by using t test to find the difference. Based on the research, it can be concluded that (1) there is different activities of the students who uses project based learning and those who use direct learning model. The response activity in the project based is 42.86% never give response, 34.29% sometimes give response, and 22.86% often give response. For the direct learning model, there is 68.75% never give response, 22.86% sometimes give response and 8.57% often give response. The average memorizing activities in the project based is 73.571 and it is 64.143 in the direct model with t= -3.552 and the significance of 0.001. The average activity of solving the problem in the project based is 75.214 and it is 49.429 and the score of it is -5.756 and the significant of 0.000. (2) There is different study result of the students who use project based learning and those who use direct learning model. The average study achievement of the students who use project based is 76.7191 and those who use direct learning model is 72.41, the value of t is -3.112 and the significance off 0.003.
