Abstract

This research aims to determine flash card media on the ability to recognize vocabulary in children aged 3-4 years at PAUD Muthia Islamic School Kayuagung. This type of research is quantitative experimental Design One Group Pre-test Post-test (one class). The research sample used in this research was group a at PAUD Muthia Islamic School Kayuagung, totaling 12 children, namely 7 boys and 5 girls. The sampling technique is carried out using Sample Random Sampling or the children are called one by one to come to the front of the class to bring flash card media that has been prepared by the teacher. The method for collecting data uses observation tests and documentation with data analysis using normality tests, homogeneity tests and hypothesis tests. The results of the research and discussion mean the average pre-test score that did not use treatment was 68, while the average post-test score using flash card media or treatment was 88. It can be seen that there is an influence when not using the media and after using the flash card media. These findings are strengthened based on the results of the hypothesis test, namely rtable, it can be seen that because to has been obtained = 9.161 while tt = 2.07387. So t0 is greater than tt, both at the 5% significance level with details of 9.161>2.07387 then the significance is 0.02<0.05= significant and Ha is accepted which means there is a significant influence between flash card media on the ability to recognize vocabulary. said to children aged 3-4 years at PAUD Muthia Islamic School Kayuagung.

Abstract

Mastery of mathematical material by students is a non-negotiable necessity in structuring reasoning and decision making in the current era of increasingly competitive competition. In other words, mathematics has a very essential role for other sciences, the main ones being science and technology. . However, mathematics is known as a difficult and boring subject because the learning process is only focused on textbooks as the main guide. Therefore, other learning models are needed that can increase interest in learning, such as the brain based learning model. The aim of this research is to improve student learning outcomes in the field of mathematics on data collection and presentation material using a brain based learning model using used goods. This type of research is classroom action research using a qualitative deductive method by taking data from 20 people from grade 5 elementary school students. The results of the research show that the brain based learning model is proven to increase learning outcomes by up to 25% with an average initial learning score of 60 to 81 with completeness. classic increased 60%.

Abstract

Students have difficulty in learning mathematics because they do not understand the basic concepts of mathematics. one of the causes is because mathematics is taught as something abstract, monotonous and less interesting. Innovations and alternatives in improving students' mathematical understanding are needed, one of them is technology-based learning. This is in line with the 2013 curriculum requirements to integrate technology into learning process. The integration can be done with TPACK-based learning that is merging of Technology, Pedagogy, and Content Knowledge. Learning will also be more meaningful for students if teachers can present contextual and realistic problems, ie with a realistic mathematical approach. One of the material studied by the students is the equation and quadratic function related to the function graph in cartesian coordinate system.. Although drawing coordinate points in the Cartesian field has already been studied by students at the junior level, students' understanding of the material is still low, as it requires reasoning and skill. The purpose of this research is to know how the students' mathematical understanding through TPACK realistic mathematics approach. The method used was Design Research at the Pre Prototyping Research phase involving 25 students of X MAN 1 Meulaboh. Data were collected through student answer analysis. The results obtained that the learning through realistic mathematical approach based on TPACK can help students understand the material graph of quadratic functions well, but not yet perfect. This is seen in each indicator of understanding that can be achieved well. However, the indicator of ability to apply the concept algorithm and the ability to present the concept in various forms of representation is still low.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the development of second-hand media to improve science learning activities for fourth grade students at SD Negeri Seumantok. This type of research is development, namely: Research and Development (R&D). The subjects in this research were 19 grade IV students at Seumantok State Elementary School. Data collection techniques include: observation and tests. Based on the results of the research, it was concluded that the development of used media to improve science learning activities for fourth grade students at SD Negeri Seumantok resulted in validation of an average score of 4.5 and the learning process carried out had gone well in accordance with the learning scenario, the results of observations from the implementation of categorized learning good, and the average final score for each result has increased so that the average percentage of classical student scores that achieve a score of more than or equal to 65 is 70. This is in accordance with the Minimum Completeness Standards (SKM) and second-hand media can help the teacher explains the material being taught and the students will not feel bored while learning so that a pleasant learning atmosphere is created, even though it is only in the form of used goods but is useful in learning.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of literacy activities in history lessons for grade X at SMAN 1 Jawai. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection methods used observation, interviews with history teachers and students, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used involve data reduction, data presentation, and decision-making. The results showing that the teacher has implemented literacy activities, particularly reading literacy, which includes various literacy aspects such as reading texts from both books and teacher-prepared materials, group discussions of texts, presentations, and Q&A sessions. The process of implementing literacy activities involves planning, execution, and evaluation, adhering to literacy learning principles such as pre-reading, reading, and post-reading activities. However, the implementation of literacy activities faces several challenges, notably a lack of student interest in reading and limited resources such as books and technology.

Abstract

The learning process carried out at SDN Margasari class V in science and science subjects is mostly teacher-centred using the lecture method. The high-level thinking abilities of class V students at SDN Margasari are also not visible. This is proven by the absence of interactions such as questions and answers between students and teachers, as well as the absence of activities that lead to higher level thinking such as analyzing, evaluating or creating activities. This research is research and development (R&D) which aims to develop a HOTS-based module on science subjects, material like what is my regional culture, this research is also to find out the quality of the HOTS-based science module that was developed, and find out students' responses after using this module. The subjects of this research were 20 class V students at SDN Margasari. The assessment results in this research were 89% from material experts, and 84.00% from media experts, overall getting a score in the "very decent" category. The assessment results from student responses obtained a result of 88.75% in the "very good" category. So it can be concluded that the HOTS-based module on the science and sciences subject, what is the culture of my region, has been successfully developed into better teaching material because it has been prepared according to design and is able to provide benefits for learning.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the need for interactive learning media in learning mathematics for deaf students. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews with math teachers, and questionnaires regarding the needs of deaf students. The subjects of this study were deaf students and Phase E math teachers in one of the special schools in Semarang City. The results showed that technology-based learning media has been used in several subjects, but it is not interactive and has never been used in learning mathematics. Whereas deaf students prefer and are interested in interactive and technology-based learning media. The interview results stated that teachers are interested in using technology-based interactive learning media in math learning to help students understand the concept of flat area material. In line with this, the results of the needs questionnaire, deaf students are 100% interested and agree with the development of technology-based interactive learning media that can maximize their visual and motor intelligence so that it can help in their learning process on flat area material.

Abstract

This study aims to find errors made by fifth grade students of SDN Pagadungan 2 Pandeglang Regency in writing. These errors include the use of capital letters and punctuation. The methodology of this study is a descriptive qualitative approach, namely analyzing and assessing data objectively based on the results of observations in the field. In addition, the information collected is described through verbal descriptions. The findings of this study indicate that as many as 35 student writings have been analyzed. In terms of the use of capital letters, students made 353 errors in their narrative texts, and there were 84 errors in the placement of punctuation in the writing they made. To improve writing skills, researchers applied interactive learning media, which resulted in an increase in which 85.7% or 30 out of 35 participants became proficient in the use of punctuation and capital letters.

Abstract

Kurikulum merdeka belajar merupakan kurikulum baru yang diterapkan pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Guru SDN 017 Sungai Pinang menerapkan kurikulum merdeka belajar pada siswa kelas 1 dan 4. Siswa kelas 1 terdiri dari 2 kelas yakni kelas 1Adan 1B kemudian kelas 4 terdiri dari dua kelas yakni 4A dan 4B. Pada tahap perencanaan guru telah menyusun RPP sesuai format yang ada dalam kurikulum merdeka. Pada tahap pelaksanaan guru menerapkan pembelajaran yang berfokus dalam pengembangan soft skills dan karakter sesuai profil pelajar pancasila. Evaluasi pembelajaran dilakukan melalui formatif dan sumatif dengan menggunakan instrument tes dan non tes. Penilaiaan bertujuan untuk menilai pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Guru DSDN 017 Sungai Pinang memberikan proyek sebagai tugas akhir dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of puppet media on the improvement of listening skills in students at SDN Karundang 1 Serang City. Using a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, this study collects data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that the use of story puppet media can significantly improve students' listening skills. This media has succeeded in attracting students' attention and motivation, as well as making learning more fun and interactive. Students showed improvement in story comprehension, participation in discussions, and mastery of new vocabulary. In addition, puppet media also plays a role in introducing local cultural values. Although there are several challenges, such as the limited number of physical puppets, the use of digital media can be an effective solution. Overall, the use of wayang cerita media has proven to make a great contribution to the improvement of listening skills and the development of students' communication skills in elementary school.
