Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use of animated videos as a learning medium in improving students' listening skills at SDN Karundang 1. Listening skills are an important aspect in language learning, but many students have difficulty understanding information conveyed orally. One of the main causes of low listening skills is learning methods that tend to be monotonous and less interesting for students. Therefore, this research proposes the use of animated videos as an alternative that is more interactive, interesting, and can increase students' attention and understanding. The approach used in this research is qualitative with descriptive methods to explore the experiences and perceptions of students and teachers regarding the application of animated videos in learning. The research results show that animated videos can significantly improve students' listening skills, because this media combines visual and audio elements which make it easier for students to understand the material in a more interesting and enjoyable way. Apart from that, animated videos can also create an active learning atmosphere and encourage student learning motivation. However, this research also notes several challenges, such as limited technological facilities and technical obstacles in implementing animated videos. Overall, the use of animated videos has proven to be effective in improving students' listening skills and has a positive impact on the learning process at SDN Karundang 1, and can be used as an innovation to create a more meaningful and effective learning experience.

Abstract

The use of technology in education continues to grow, especially in supporting Society 5.0 era education which adopts digital means. This study aims to develop Android-based learning media for Financial Accounting subjects on the learning outcomes of the Petty Cash Fund in class XI SMK NU Bahrul Ulum Menganti. This learning media is designed in an android-based flipbook format so that it is easily accessible anytime and anywhere by students. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model which includes five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques using tests, observations, and interviews. The data analysis technique uses material, language and media feasibility analysis. The results of validation by experts showed a very high feasibility level of 87% which stated that this media was valid in terms of content, language, and interactivity design. The results of the analysis of responses by teachers and students also showed a very practical category. Thus, this Android-based learning media can be an innovative solution to improve the effectiveness of learning Financial Accounting.

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum is a curriculum oriented toward advancements in science and technology, serving as an adaptation to the demands of 21st-century progress. This study aims to explore teachers' perceptions of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in the education sector. The research employed a survey method by distributing a questionnaire containing 28 statements via Google Forms to teachers from elementary, middle, and high school levels, as well as educational practitioners. A total of 120 teachers participated as respondents. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, including all collected data as samples. Statistical analysis employed the Rasch model, followed by comparative analysis using SPSS version 20. The findings revealed that, in general, teachers have a positive perception of the Independent Curriculum's implementation. However, teachers also identified shortcomings in its execution, particularly related to the supporting infrastructure and resources.

Abstract

The optimal learning model is one that can meet the goals of 21st century education by integrating the 4C principles of critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. The results of initial observations made by researchers on the implementation of learning at SDN 12 Palu, Palu City showed several findings. Students tend to be passive in learning activities, less responsive to questions from the teacher, and discussion activities are not effective because students are reluctant to express ideas and opinions. This research uses the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model, which is expected to improve the collaborative skills of students III A SDN 12 Palu. The application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model was effective in improving students' collaboration skills. The data show an increase in the percentage of the four assessment indicators, with details as follows: indicators of productivity in work increased from 72% in cycle 1 to 86% in cycle 2, indicators of mutual responsibility increased from 70% in cycle 1 to 84% in cycle 2, indicators of compromise increased from 69% in cycle 1 to 83% in cycle 2.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the steps of implementing the Problem Based Learning model in improving students' critical thinking skills in grade 4 of Madani Integrated Model Elementary School. The Classroom Action Research (PTK) that will be implemented consists of two cycles. Cycle I includes planning stage I, action implementation I, observation I, and reflection I. This study is a form of research that focuses on action in the classroom. This Classroom Action Research was conducted at Madani Integrated Model Elementary School located in Palu City. The objects in this study include critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes. This research focused on grade 4 students at Madani Integrated Model Elementary School consisting of 30 students, with details of 19 female students and 11 male students. The application of the Problem Based Learning learning model has the potential to improve students' critical thinking skills and learning outcomes in solving story problems in mathematics subjects in grade 4 at Madani Integrated Model Elementary School. This can be proven by the mastery of critical thinking skills showing an increase from the initial value of 63.8 (quite critical) to 78.6 (critical) in the final condition. The percentage of students who thought critically in the initial condition was 40.00%, which then increased in the final condition to 56.67%.

Abstract

The results of observations made in class VI of SD Inpres 3 Tondo showed a problem in the form of a decrease in student interest in learning, especially in learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn). This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Wordwall media in increasing students' interest in learning Civics subjects in class VI SD Inpres 3 Tondo. The results of the comparison of student activity data in learning cycle 1 and cycle 2 of student activity show the results, indicators of participatory activity in using wordwall have a percentage in cycle 1 of 46.88% (15 students) increased in the cycle to 78.12% (25 people), active indicators in using wordwall in cycle 1 of 50% (16 people) increased in cycle 2 by 81.12% (26 students), activity indicators can use wordwall in cycle 1 by 40.62% (13 people) increased to 87.5% (28 students), activity indicators can answer quiz in wordwall in cycle 1 by 53.12% (17 people) in cycle 2 increased to 68.75% (22 people) and activity indicators happy / happy during the learning process in cycle 1 by 62.5% (20 people) increased in cycle 2 by 93.75% (30 people). These results indicate that the use of wordwall learning media can increase students' interest in learning Civics in class VI of SD Inpres 3 Tondo.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the effect of Problem Based Instruction learning model with audiovisual media in biology learning on the learning achievement of the X graders of SMA Negeri 1 South Solok in the school year of 2025/2026. This study was a quasi-experimental research with quantitative approach. The research design used was posttest only control design with the experiment group applying Problem Based Instruction with audiovisual media and control group applying discussion, lecture, debriefing, presentation methods. The population of research was all X graders of SMA Negeri 1 South Solok in the school year of 2025/2026. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The sample of research consisted of X3 grade containing 35 students as the experiment group and X6 grade containing 35 students as control group. Techniquesof collecting data usedwere questionnaire, test,observation, anddocumentation. The hypothesis testing was done using t-test. This research concluded that the Problem Based Instruction with audiovisual media affected significantly the biology learning achievement of the X graders of SMA Negeri 1 South Solok in the school year of 2025/2026 in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains.

Abstract

Based on observations at SD Inpres Perumnas, students' reading skills are low. This is reflected in the low ability of students to understand the meaning of the text in depth, the lack of ability to identify important information in reading, as well as difficulties in analyzing and drawing conclusions from the text. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which involves four stages: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Classroom action research is a strategy that can be utilized by teachers to identify various problems related to learning in the classroom. The researcher acts as a planner of learning activities, while the teacher functions as the implementer of these activities. The researcher, with the help of peers, observed learning activities related to reading interest. The results of the research and discussion show that the use of picture story media has the potential to improve the reading ability of grade 2 students of SD Inpres Perumnas in Indonesian language learning. The improvement of reading skill test results in cycle I and cycle II showed significant progress.

Abstract

Problems identified by teachers during the learning process in class II of SD Inpres Palupi. Students show a low level of activity in the learning process, which can be attributed to the lack of learning facilities available in the classroom, such as textbooks, as well as limitations in the use of teaching aids or learning media by teachers. In the implementation of the teaching and learning process in Class II of SD Inpres Palupi, there are indications that most of the students show a low level of activity. This is due to the lack of use of media, including visual media, which has implications for students' lack of understanding of the explanations given by the teacher). This study focused on grade 2 students of SD Inpres Palupi, with a total of 28 participants from SD Inpres Palupi. The results obtained showed that at the average level of pre-action, cycle 1 had an increase of 9.09%, while from cycle 1 to cycle 2 there was an increase of 36.36%. This shows an increase in the use of the picture method in the teaching of mathematics.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning activity of fifth grade students of SDN 1 Tatura Palu through the use of concrete media in learning Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) with magnetic force material. The study was conducted using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method consisting of two cycles. Data were collected through observation, tests, and interviews, then analyzed descriptively to measure the increase in student learning activity. This study involved 20 fifth grade students as subjects. Data collection was carried out by analyzing qualitative and quantitative data from observation sheets, learning activity tests, and interviews during the learning process. The success indicators were set with a target of learning activity completion of 80 percent. The results showed that the use of concrete media significantly increased student learning activity. At the pre-cycle stage, student learning activity only reached 52 percent. After the use of concrete media, learning activity increased to 70 percent in Cycle I and reached 89 percent in Cycle II. This study proves that concrete media is able to encourage student learning activity consistently, especially in aspects of active participation, student interaction, involvement in discussions, and the ability to complete tasks. These results indicate that the use of concrete media in science learning with magnetic force material is effective in increasing the learning activity of fifth grade students at SDN 1 Tatura Palu.
