Abstract

AbstractThe specific purpose of this research is to know the historical values in Ngabungbang Tradition and to know the extent of the inheritance of historical values Ngabungbang tradition applied in learning history using excursion method.This research was conducted in History Studies Program History FKIP Galuh Ciamis University, case study in the first grade students, using qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection is done by observation, interview, and document analysis. The results showed that Ngabungbang Tradition was held every 14 months Maulud in Batulawang Village, Pataruman Sub District, Banjar City. The values of the Ngabungbang Tradition are religious, aesthetic, economical, social, disciplinary, democratic, creative, honesty, homeland and other values. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aimed to identify and describe the way reinforce of the character values were being taught in the history subject at SMA Negeri 1 Kota Yogyakarta. This research was a naturalistic qualitative research. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data trustworthinnes was enhanced by source triangulation. The techniques used to analyse the data were the Miles and Hubberman model which consisted of data reduction, data display, and data verification. The result of the research showed that were three methods were used in the reinforcement of the character values i.e. leading by examples, habituation, and mechanism of the appreciation and sanctions. (a) Leading by examples were earned on teachers and advice of history itself;  (b) habituation was done by conditioning the students while doing tasks and  discussions; and (c) the mechanism of appreciation and sanction is contained in the learning contract, aiming for students to be motivated and maximize reinforcement. Meanwhile reinforcement that done in learning should be positive reinforcement. Keyword: history subject, character values, reinforcement of the character values.

Abstract

ABSTRAKIndonesia adalah negara yang plural, pluralisme di Indonesia tercermin dalam semboyan Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. Semboyan Bhinneka Tunggal Ika merupakan simbol pengikat persatuan bangsa Indonesia yang terdiri dari beragam suku, budaya, bahasa, dan agama yang berbeda-beda. Bhinneka Tunggal Ika juga berarti pengakuan terhadap kenyataan sosial historis bahwa rakyat Indonesia telah sejak lama berinteraksi secara rukun dan harmonis. Namun, sangat disayangkan pasca runtuhnya Orde Baru terjadi serangkaian konflik SARA di beberapa daerah. Kota Ambon dan Poso menjadi saksi bahwa kepentingan politik, sosial, ekonomi, dan agama akhirnya mencoreng potret kerukunan dan keharmonisan yang telah terbangun sejak lama. Maka pengokohan nilai-nilai keindonesiaan dan nasionalisme menjadi sangat penting untuk kembali dikuatkan. Sehingga kejadian-kejadian konflik yang pernah terjadi di masa lalu tidak terulang kembali pada masa-masa selanjutnya.Kata Kunci: Kemajemukan, Konflik, dan Persatuan. ABSTRACTIndonesia is a plural country, pluralism in Indonesia is reflected in the motto of Unity in Diversity. The motto of Unity in Diversity is a symbol of the binding of the unity of the Indonesian nation which consists of diverse ethnicities, cultures, languages and religions. Bhineka Tunggal Ika also means recognition of the historical social reality that the Indonesian people have long interacted harmoniously and harmoniously. However, it is very unfortunate that after the collapse of the New Order a series of SARA conflicts occurred in several regions. The cities of Ambon and Poso bear witness that political, social, economic and religious interests have finally tarnished the image of harmony and harmony that has been built for a long time. So strengthening the values of Indonesianness and nationalism becomes very important to be strengthened again. Abstract

Negara-negara di kawasan Pasific Selatan yang dahulu dijajah oleh Inggris, Amerika Serikat, Perancis, Jerman dan Australia, kini sebagian telah menjadi negara-negara merdeka. Sebagai negara yang baru merdeka, mereka belum mampu untuk berdiri sendiri. Sebenarnya mereka mempunyai potensi kekayaan alam dan kekayaan laut, namun belum dapat mengembangkan potensi-potensi tersebut karena mereka tidak mempunyai kemampuan teknologi. Oleh sebab itu mereka sangat membutuhkan bantuan-bantuan dari negara asing. Dengan demikian kehadiran negara-negara asing seperti Amerika Serikat, Cina, Uni Soviet dan Jepang ikut mempengaruhi negara-negara di Kawasan Pasific Selatan. Tujuan penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengungkap latar belakang dan pengaruh Amerika Serikat di negara-negara Pasific Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sejarah kritis. Dalam menganalisis data, langkah yang ditempuh adalah langkah-langkah menurut Kuntowijoyo, Pemilihan topik, Heuristik, Verivikasi (kritik sumber), Interpretasi, Historiografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kehadiran Uni Soviet dan Cina di Pasific selatan menggugah Amerika Serikat untuk lebih memperhatikan kawasan ini, dengan lebih meningkatkan peranannya di Kawasan Pasific Selatan. Adapun peranan Amerika Serikat di Kawasan Pasific Selatan meliputi bidang ekonomi, politik dan strategi. Dalam bidang ekonomi Amerika Serikat memberikan bantuan dan memperbaiki taraf hidup mereka. Dalam bidang politik dan strategi, Amerika Serikat bersama-sama Australia dan Selandia Baru yang terikat dalam pakta pertahanan ANZUS berusaha untuk membendung masuknya pengaruh komunis yang datang dari Uni Soviet dan Cina.Kata Kunci: Amerika Serikat, dekolonisasi, dan negara-negara Fasific Selatan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kiprah politik Amir Syariffudin pada pemerintahan dan setelah berakhirnya pemerintahanya 1945-1948. Metode yang digunakan peneliti dalam penulisan sejarah ini adalah metode penelitian menurut Kuntowijoyo. Adapun tahapan penelitian sejarah menurut Kuntowijoyo mempunyai lima tahap yaitu pemilihan topik, heuristik, verifikasi, interpretasi, dan penulisan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Amir Syariffudin memiliki peran yang sangat besar bagi Republik Indonesia. Ia memiliki andil yang besar dalam dinamika pemerintahan Republik Indonesia. Sebagai seorang nasionalis, ia pernah menduduki berbagai jabatan penting. Adapun jabatan penting tersebut antara lain: sebagai menteri penerangan, menteri keamanan, perdana menteri, dan wakil Indonesia dalam Perjanjian Renville. Kata Kunci: Amir Syariffudin, peran, politik, dan pemerintahan.

Abstract

This study aims to flash back on the extent of the hidden curriculum in the teaching of history can affect the formation of the spirit of nationalism among students/students in university. The method used in conducting this research is descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that the plurality of the Indonesian nation as objective conditions, particularly with regard to ethnicity, religion, culture, and language appears to be very vulnerable and would potentially be the cause of disintegration. The concept of the hidden curriculum includes the development of values in school attention and emphasis varies according to the level of lecturers spirit and physical condition as well as the social climate of the school/college. The concept of hidden curriculum in history teaching aims to rebuild the bond of nationality (rebuilding the nation), which is the problem of rebuilding the humanities, society, and culture. In this respect the role of parents and the community in growing nationalism in the context of the hidden curriculum is needed. Keywords: Hidden Curriculum, Teaching History, Nationalism Soul.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui penerapan media pembelajaran Sejarah, 2) mengetahui pengembangan media pembelajaran Sejarah, dan 3) mengetahui efektifitas media pembelajaran Sejarah untuk Meningkatkan Rasa Kesadaran Sejarah Siswa Kelas XI IPS di SMA N 1 Prambanan Sleman Yogyakarta.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu: 1) tahap studi pendahuluan, 2) tahap pengembangan media, dan 3) tahap uji efektivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Berdasarkan hasil observasi diperoleh bahwa media yang digunakan oleh guru sejarah dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar Sejarah berupa penayangan slide power point, film sejarah, dan miniatur-miniatur benda-benda bersejarah; 2) Media media pembelajaran berbasis audio-visual ini melalui beberapa langkah yaitu: a) menyusun media pembelajaran, b) mengumpulkan video, c) menyusun materi, d) menyusun video yang telah dikumpulkan, e) membuat story board, f) pengetesan prodek secara internal; dan 3) Efektivitas media pembelajaran sejarah berbasis audio visual menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media pembelajaran sejarah berbasis audio visual lebih baik bila dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mengunakan media Power Point serta dapat meningkatkan kesadaran sejarah siswa                                  Kata Kunci: Media Audio Visual, Kesadaran Sejarah                                                                                                    Kata Kunci: Media Audio Visual, Kesadaran Sejarah

Abstract

AbstractOne of the results of this study aims to clarify that the teaching of history has a lot of media or flexible in its delivery methods, such as through training Jathilan Art. Jathilan Art is one of the folk art using braid horse property, as well as players reog or lumping horse or horses braid. Art Jathilan Revelation turonggo in Kulon Progo Regency is one of folk art will be full of local values. Learning history through Art Jathilan training to improve local values are expected to provide new ideas in history. This is because history can not be separated from the cultures in a society. Meanwhile, art is one of the results of the culture. Teaching history at this point also raised many of the local values because Indonesia is a country rich in culture. To increase the love of the Indonesian state (nationalism) not only through pembelajarah history, especially the material history of the struggle of the Indonesian nation. How to boost nationalism can be done by increasing the understanding of local values. Local values can be instilled through training Art Jathilan include the values of mutual cooperation, kinship, the values of religious form of gratitude to God Almighty, the values of love for the surrounding environment, the values of self-reliance as using crops activities in the community, and so on. Keywords: Learning history, the traditional art “Jathilan”, local values

Abstract

This study aimed to determine: (1) the application of learning methods, (2) the application of learning models, (3) the application of learning evaluation, (4) factors that support effective history learning, (5) factors that inhibit effective historical learning, (6) the absorption rate of students in learning history, and (7) the role of teachers in learning history of SMA Negeri 1 Mlati Sleman.This research is a qualitative. Key informant in this research were Headmaster, Deputy Headmaster of Curriculum Field, Teachers of History Study Course, and Students of IPS Department and IPA Class XI. Data collection techniques included interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity used data triangulation. Data analysis technique used Miles and Huberman analysis model that was causal network. To be able to describe the meaning of relationships between factors in this study, using the method of fishbone diagram was used.The results showed that: (1) history learning of SMA Negeri 1 Mlati Sleman, included activities to select, establish, develop methods to achieve the desired teaching outcomes. The selection, determination, and development of this method were based on existing teaching conditions especially on historical learning. (2) One of the historical learning models used was images and video that were done so that images could be sorted into a logical sequence. (3) Evaluation of learning has been prepared at the beginning or time of programming of the semester except for evaluation or the final examination of the school was planned or taken preparation time of daily evaluation of each sub subject. For evaluation there were a written test, oral test (question and answer). (4) Factors that support the learning was that the learning strategy that was delivered could be received well by students and foster interest in student’s learning, because the interest was very influential in the process and learning outcomes. (5) Factors that hamper the learning of history included the diffent ability of students so that an individual learning approach was required for each student. Other obstacles are resources and learning tools such as history labs that had not been owned. (6) The absorption rate of students in learning history was closely related to students' understanding. In the learning process, each individual student had different abilities in understanding what he or she was learning. (7) The role of teachers in learning history included to providing motivation to students to be more enthusiastic in learning and stablishing good communication between teachers and students.Keywords: effective history learning, SMA N 1 Mlati

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini 1) Mendeskripsikan media kajian sejarah yang selama ini dilaksanakan di MAN Yogyakarta III 2) Mendeskripsikan rencana studi sejarah ke media Visualisasi Museum Sasana Wiratama yang akan dikembangkan. 3) Mendeskripsikan prosedur pengembang media pembelajaran berbasis Visualisasi Museum Sasana Wiratama untuk meningkatkan Kesadaran akan sejarah siswa 4) Untuk menganalisis sejauh mana efektivitasnya dengan menggunakan studi sejarah dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis Visualisasi Museum Sasana Wiratama untuk meningkatkan Kesadaran sejarah . Penelitian pengembangan menggunakan metode yang mengadaptasi pengembangan desain ADDIE. Hasil studi uji efektivitas media menunjukkan hasil yang baik. Sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran sejarah berdasarkan visualisasi Museum terbukti efektif Sasana Wiratama dalam meningkatkan prestasi dan kesadaran Sejarah pada siswa. Kata kunci: Pengembangan, Media, Visusalisasi, Sejarah   AbstractTarget of this research 1) Describe the media of study of history which during the time executed in MAN Yogyakarta III 2) Describe the plan study of history to media Visualizing Museum Sasana Wiratama to be developed. 3) Describe procedure developer of study media base on Visualization of Museum Sasana Wiratama to increase Awareness of student history 4) To analyze how far the effectivity by using study of history by using study media base on Visualization of Museum Sasana Wiratama to increase Awareness of history. Research of development use method which adaptation of design development of ADDIE. Result of media effectiveness test study show good result. So that can be pulled by conclusion that usage of media study of history base on visualization of Museum effective proven Sasana Wiratama in improving achievement and awareness of History at student. Keyword: Media, Development, Visualisation, History.
